The Waiting Room Queue
Date of Scene:	29 May 2024
Location:	Plot Room 5
Synopsis:	Minako, Bow and Ami are waiting for their turn to visit with Mamoru. Ami is ~doing homework~ taking note for Usagi, Bow has Mamo's homework, and Minako just wants to visit. But then Ami lets it slip that she and Usagi are kissing and well. The Senshi of Love is dumbstruck.

Bow has posed:
Ever since Mamoru was admitted into the hospital, the waiting room has been a busy place. While he's allowed a couple of visitors, there are others that are waiting their turns. One of those currently waiting is Bow. No violin or the like today. And with his henshin still being sorted out, he's not very good for patrol or lookout for Hinoiri either.

So he's bringing Mamoru's homework for him, currently sitting in one of the chairs, glancing at his phone on occassional as he keeps vigilance in the waiting room, while the news runs on the TV in silent mode, the closed captioning running in the otherwise neutral environment, with vending machines around the corner and at least the seats are comfortable.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Speaking of homework, another was here currently working on their own. Nothing which was a surprise to any who knew her. Ami sits with a book in lap going through it to highlight various parts that would be best memorized for any upcoming tests. Oddly it's not *her* homework she's working with judging by the little stack of neat folders near her labeled with the various classes for easy cataloging.

"There," she finally declares while lowering the book with a sigh. The glasses she wears are nudged up ontop of her head a bit so she can see without them properly. "I think this should help with them getting caught up. Although I really am going to have to sit and make sure Usagi does her homework."

Bow is given a smile, "Thank you for bringing Mamoru-kuns for him. I'm sure he appreciates it all."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako of course had known about Mamoru, she'd visited Usagi and she'd been patrolling unsuccessfully...but for now? Well, she was here, arriving in her civvies a few moments after Ami.

The blonde peeks in, leaning through the door for a moment before exhaling a sigh and lifting a hand.

"Hi, am I interrupting?"

Bow has posed:
"It's no problem. Ironic, really. He had just visited me the day before this all happened to visit me." Bow doesn't go too deep on it, after all, Ami already knows that story. He leans back, and blows out a breath. "I want to do more, I just feel so limited at the moment. If I were back home, I'd be able to set up survelliance... or something. But this place is so big and strange. So much to adapt to." A pause. "Sorry for fussing." he adds quickly.

Noticing Minako, he raises a hand in greetings. "Rei's friend, right? Minako? We met a couple of times, I think. I remember seeing the two of you at Prom. You both looked amazing."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno reaches out to lightly pat Bow's arm with a sympathetic smile. "I'm glad you're all right, too. I'm sorry again that I had to do that-" she begins only to be quite glad when another appears to steal her thoughts away from having to drown Bow. A posessed Bow, but still.

Her smile brightens a bit as she greets, "Hello Mina! You're fine. We're just killing time at the moment since they only allow a few guests at a time in Mamoru-kun's room. Right now it's on a rotation with his boyfriends and Usagi-chan."

Minako Aino has posed:
"A few times, yeah..." Minako offers as she moves into the room, a little hug of greeting for Ami and then she moves to find a seat. Never mind trying to work out the friends, girlfriends, boyfriends thing, Minako was just glad to see Mamoru wasn't left alone when Usagi was getting some rest.

"Yeah, I had to sweet talk the nurses into letting me squeeze in. I feel bad for not being around more..."

Bow has posed:
Bow's already forgiven Ami for that. He did in his hospital bed. And once forgiven, it's all water under the bridge. There's a little wave of his hand, a generalized, 'don't mention it' thing. Though he does chuckle outright when Ami mentions the current rotation. "We're just squeezing in when we get the chance, really. So... I assume you're all caught up on your homework..." A gesture to Ami's meticulous folder system. "Whose do you have there?" He'd feel weird if they both brought Mamoru homework.

There's a shake of his head as he gestures to one of the waiting room chairs. "I'm sure both he and Usagi will be happy you visited at least, Minako." the Etherian teen points out. "It's the thought that counts, I think the saying goes?" he asks the pair, before he asks. "Are you up to speed on what happened to him?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno stands from her seat to welcome Minako with a hug in turn. She might not be the most outgoing of the Senshi but she certainly was always willing to give and get hugs from her friends. "It's okay. I'm glad you stopped by. It's good to see you."

Her head tips toward Bow again, and though she knew he had accepted her apology, she still felt guilty. It was far less than before. She could face him now!

The question of homework earns her gaze toward the stack. "Oh that's Usagi-chans. Mamoru has managed to help her get her grades up, but with him injured right now it's only fair I step in to help take that part over. I think I'd be the only one that can motivate her like he does right now."

Minako Aino has posed:
"Usagi told me," Minako nods, settling herself down as they all speak. "Still a lot, if it's true. Haven't found the uh...culprit yet either, and not for lack of looking."

Ami's volunteering brings a smile from Minako, though her own homework remains noticably unmentioned.

Bow has posed:
"Well, we know who it was." Bow responds with a frown. "It's just a matter of figuring out a way to stop her, since she seems to absorb the powers of anyone that she comes in contact with." he admits with a frown. "And there doesn't seem to be a limit to what she can take."

A glance to Ami and a smirk. "Next time I get really hurt, I'm totally getting you to do my homework to raise my grades." he teases her lightly, before he nods. "But yeah, it makes sense. She has enough on her plate. Just make sure her teachers don't catch on that you're doing it, or there might be a pop quiz all of the sudden."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno tilts her head at Minako looking a bit concerned. "Have *you* been getting enough rest? Drinking enough water? You seem really tired. I know we're all going through a lot right now but you do need to take care of yourself as well."

Then Bow says the unthinkable. Her eyes widen with shock at the mere assumption. "I'm not doing her homework for her! I would never cheat someone out of an education like that! I'm just highlighting the best study points for her to memorize so that it helps cut down study time."

Having defended herself properly she holds up a hand to tick off fingers. "I'm also making sure she eats, gets some rest, and encourage her with candy and kissing so she finishes her work just like Mamoro would."

Minako Aino has posed:
"I'm fine. We've all been busy..." Minako offers perhaps a little forlornly, folding her arms under her bust as they speak. "I mean, I've barely had time to see Rei-chan, or Usagi or..."

"Hold up. Kissing?"

Now there was a brow-raise!

Bow has posed:
"Okay, okay. Just making sure you're keeping her honest!" Bow comments, a playful raise of his hands in case Ami wants to bean him with something. But Ami's attention seems to be on Minako at the moment, and there apparently was new developments.

He spends a moment trying to remember is Ami came to prom with a date, but can't quite place it, but there seems to be a new relationship, so he quiets so Minako can get details.

Unless she just happens to be further out of date than he is.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno sits with her hands folded lightly in her lap as she stares straight ahead. For just a moment she recounts what she says in her own mind only to realize exactly what it was. Kissing. Oh no.

Almost instantly her face reddens with a little aqueak of air rushing out of her lungs. "O-oh well yes I mean that IS how Mamoru convinces her to work hard and um, I... May have... We may..."

Abruptly she bolts to her feet. "It's a thing maybe a new thing we'll see I guess I need to go powder my nose sorry!" For now she bolts for the bathrooms. Oh no.

Minako Aino has posed:
Well that...that brings a flush to Minako's cheeks. Vicarious embarassment? Picturing the exchange? How come noone ever tried that tactic with -her- for study?

Whatever crossed her mind, Minako was left sort of stunned as the bluenette fled, questioning how the Senshi of love could have missed this...
