Three for three
Date of Scene: 05 November 2024
Location: Plot Room 1
Synopsis: Glimmer takes Catra and Scorpia out for some shopping, food and spa dayyyy! It ends... very strangely. Surely they couldn't be... bonding?!
Cast of Characters: Glimmer Brightmoon, Catra, Scorpia

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon was late. Was sooooo late. Oh gosh she was so, so late. Like, fifteen minutes late. Listen, she got this new game, 'Harvesting moons', which, while it had nothing to DO with harvesting moons, it was pretty chill.

And so she was late. She sent Scorpia a quick text, apologizing, saying she and Catra would be there, ten minutes, tops. Soooo sorry.

Then after teleporting all over the tower, she was suddenly... On Catra. Appearing by her side. "Ugh, there you are! We're going shopping, Easter's paying!" and snagged her arm, disappearing in a flash of pink sparkles.

And while Catra, likely, would have things to say about it... Multiple rapid fire teleports across the city likely took most of the fight out of the poor girl rather quickly.

And they'd appear in the entrance to the rather upscale shop after about five of them... As Glimmer quickly scanned the area for Scorpia.

Unfortunately for Catra, she was likely already getting a few confused looks.

Catra has posed:
Catra was in Takashi's office, because she wanted to talk to him about something important. What was it, exactly? None of your damn business, that's what. But, waiting for a minute was fine; she had her headphones on with music playing loud (something dark and dirgy), and she was busy enjoying a box of take-out noodles with extra beef, because she's an obligate carnivore and all that, and basically, life was just... at least okay, for a moment.

And then Glimmer appeared and before Catra could react she was just zipping across town. As she and Glimmer vanished she lost her grip on the noodles, and they sailed through the air to land upside-down in the middle of Takashi's desk. He'll be thrilled with that, right? Right.

It'll be fine.

Which, eventually, leaves the pair of them standing somewhere... out in the open. And Catra is not wearing her disguise, of course; and for the moment, that's not her primary concern. She's got chopsticks in hand, still holding a piece of beef and some noodles (the latter of which is slowly escaping) and isn't about to put it in her mouth, as she looks like she's just about to empty her stomach all over the place. So people are looking at her like... what? HAVEN'T YOU PEOPLE EVER SEEN A CAT BEFORE?! For crying out loud people!

"Sparkles," she gasps, holding her stomach. "Remember... our talk... about warning me first...?!"

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point was uncomfortable. This place was not somewhere she would ever go to on her own. It was too fancy. Scuffing the toe of one of her combat boots on the floor, she cleared her throat and glanced around when she realized she'd left a mark on the flooring. As casually as she could, she moved to a different spot to wait for Glimmer and CATRA. At the thought of finally seeing her best friend after so long, the tall blonde's body wiggled excitedly. Just in time for the two other girls to sparkle into existence.

No hesitation, and no worry for anyone who was undoubtably watching them by now, Sarah rushes up to Glimmer and Catra and lifts them both up into a massive bear hug, all the while exclaiming happily, "My friends!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon was about to respond, but before she could? The reson she didn't warn Catra was THERE! And hugging them both! She urked. "R-right. Should... have expected... t-this. S-sorry, Catra, didn't have much choice. If I warned you... I know you wouldn't have come."

Frankly, the only girl she knew who was more opposed to the idea of 'relaxation' and 'enjoying herself'... Was Adora.

"O-okay, hold that thought. Scorpia, hold onto her. It's time for why I brought you two out... here..."

She tried to squeeze out, but well.

Scorpia.

She finally gave up and just teleported out, before pushing Scorpia and Catra towards the door! And once they were in...

"Ahem?" the attendant said almost instantly, an annoyed look on her face. "Ladies, I'm afraid you'll need to take... whatever..." She paused and glanced to Catra for a moment, her eyes struggling to grasp it, before she shook her head. "You and your cosplaying kids will need to--"

"They're with me," Glimmer said, popping around Sarah and then holding up a black card with the Easter symbol on it. "Queen? I'm part of Easter? I believe you're expecting me... about.... twenty minutes ago?" she said sheepishly.

"Uhhhhh..." the woman said, glancing between the three girls... before finally focusing on Catra again. "All... of you... are together?"

"Yeah?" Glimmer said. "You got a problem with my backup dancer's costume?" she asked.

"No! Of... of course not. Right this way, ladies," the woman said, before quickly walking away, deeper into the store.

"See? Easy peasy," Glimmer said.

Oh, she was SO sticking out of claw range of Catra until she calmed down.

Catra has posed:
Catra's claws are out. Very, very out. Luckily, all they're managing to catch hold of is Scorpia's clothes, since she's not actively trying to calw anyone, she's just a cat who's being squished at this particular moment and that's a problem. Especially because she wasn't expecting it. At least she isn't being hoisted by the scruff of the neck, which would be even more undignifying.

Catra's tail lashes behind her and she squirms as she's carried into the upscale store; she's known for a while that Scorpia is here, of course, they met a while ago when Catra was disguised as Rachel, the ever-obnoxious American tourist. And, true to form, she was obnoxious, and... mean to Scorpia. Mean enough that Scorpia walked out.

So now what? Continue pretending to be one of the most inspired cosplayers of all time? Or summon the illusion to dispell the illusion?

"Scorpia," Catra gasps, finally giving up on wriggling free as well, and unfortunately not being able to teleport.
"Personal... space..."

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point let herself be pushed into the hoity toity shop while nuzzling her face into Catra's affectionately. She paid little to no mind to the attendant as she interacted with Glimmer. She wasn't sure what Easter was? Or really what they were doing here. All the girl knew, was she was spending time with her friends. Someone other than Ryoko. Not that Ryoko was terrible, or not enough. But she'd seen very little of anyone else.

Laughing, Sarah places the cat on her feet and releases her, "Sorry sorry! I just got so excited! I haven't seen you here on Earth yet, and I've missed you! Where have you been?"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon eyed Catra a little. Well, the girl was taking this better than she expected. For one, Scorpia hadn't been mauled yet. For two, Catra hadn't turned into a razor wind of frothing anger and rage. "So, Scorpia knows, but I guess I should tell you too Catra. Easter has asked me to work for them, do some odd jobs here and there. They're going to have me take on the role of one of their singers, but I'm going to need a fancy new 'look' for it. I figured, hey, why not? It'll be fun. And since I know you and Scorpia were close back home, I should invite her. And since the only person who objects to the idea of 'relaxing' and 'fun' more than you is Adora, I figured I should just not tell you until we got here. So hey, we're here now. I hope you're ready for an experience with fun and whatnot. We're getting MAKEOVERS!"

She did, in fact, throw out some glitter and sparkles when she said that. The attendant was staring again. "Err, right, come on, girls. Time for some fun!" she said, following after the lady quickly.

Catra has posed:
Catra almost goes down on her knees when she's finally released. Her claws leave little marks on the floor -- she won't mention the holes now decorating Scorpia's clothes, basically all over -- and she gasps in a deep breath.

So... where in the timeline exactly, is Scorpia from? That's... Well she doesn't seem to be upset with Catra, so she must've come before that bit where she tazered Entrapta into unconsciousness and had her shipped to Beast Island, and then threatened Scorpia with the same. So she must be from earlier. Can't be from later, 'cause there was no later, Catra pulled the switch and destroyed Etheria after that.

Even if everyone says she didn't. Does she dare actually believe them?

Catra is still standing there like a dork when she realizes the conversation is continuing around her.

"...What?" She perks an eyebrow way up. "Wait, Sparkles, slow down. You? A *singer*? That's like asking a one-armed man to be a juggler, come on."

The words are mean, but Catra's tone is really just... confused. She's definitely just, deeply distracted, and palpably so.

"Err, uhm... and yeah, hi Scorpia. Uhm." She scratches the back of her head. "What's the last thing you remember us doing? Back on Etheria, I mean."

OH wait, Glimmer is walking away. Catra pauses, looking back and forth between her and Scorpia, before she turns to follow and keep up. Still un-disguised. And bare-foot.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point hops from foot to foot with excitement, "I've never had a makeover before! The closest thing was probably when Perfuma tried to get me to wear more flowers. That... didn't last long, or work very well." She laughs and turns her attention to Catra, a friendly grin on her face and her eyes sparkling happily, "What do you mean? We were hanging out all the time on Etheria. As much as I could get away anyways. Rebuilding a kingdom from the Horde's destruction was taking a lot of time and energy. We were just a little time off from yours and Adora's wedding, I believe! I was pulled here in the middle of a ball I was at with Perfuma."

She has no idea the impact her words could potentially have. She was just speaking her truth, as always, as she followed along behind the other two girls. She was ready for this much needed girls date!

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon opened her mouth to say something, then paused. And blinked. And then... then she face palmed. "Oh damn it," she muttered. "By the light of Etheria..."

She had met with Scorpia.

She hadn't told her.

"I *knew* I forgot something." Right, she'd told Scorpia she was working with Easter... but forgot to tell Scorpia about Catra being from a different part of the timeline. "Right, Scorpia, err, my bad. Catra is from when she pulled the lever, remember? When you came to Brightmoon to ask us to help her? She doesn't actually remember any of the stuff *after* that." Pause. "Part of why she is so incredibly snippy. And why Adora and her were having such a... time." A time. Yes. She was just going to call it 'a time'. Because oh, it was a time. It was definitely 'a time'. It was one of the times of the timiest times.

"... I really should have told you all this sooner. Oh crud. But yeah, she's refusing to acknowledge the idea that she didn't destroy all of Etheria and she doesn't remember Horde Prime *at all*. Or rescuing me, or the control chip, any of that."

This was already going so well.

Catra has posed:
Catra looks like a cat that's been taken to the vet and is about to get shots or something. So basically, her eyes have gone big, her hackles are up, her claws are out, and she looks like she's ready to basically just shred everything within range. Except, she isn't doing, she's just standing there, taking in... all that. Everything that just got said.

She blinks, slowly; it's like she's frozen, somehow. Of course the urge to snarl and say something mean and just generally get angry and lash out to protect herself is overwhelmingly strong; but it's at war with the fact that she's here, undisguised, amongst... humans of the stupid variety, and she making a scene here and now like this would be awkward.

The feline looks back and forth between Scorpia and Glimmer. The former, having just told her things she shouldn't. The latter, having told Scorpia things she wishes she hadn't.

"I'm gonna go look at tuxedos," she mumbles, and then she basically just can't get away from that particular piece of space and time fast enough.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point tilts her head to the side and just soaks in everything Glimmer says. Pursing her lips, she tilts her head to the other side and crosses her arms across her chest, a hand reaching up to rest on her chin in thought, "So, she still thinks she's a bad guy?" Her eyes glance to her best friend and she frowns, "Time is strange. Ah well, we'll just have to love her through teaching her, like always!" And she's following behind Catra, wanting to look at tuxedos too!

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a small shrug. "Ehhhh. Thinks, is, it's debatable either way. I am working with Obsidian too, though. So it's not like I have space to talk. Sometimes Catra is even likeable. Sometimes." Other times she is very maimy.

"W-where.... where are they going?" the worker asked, confusion on her face.

"Tuxedos. Not really what I'd wear, but it interests them. I take good care of my dancers, after all."

Oh, there was so, so much confusion on that poor woman's face....

Glimmer, meanwhile, just followed along, humming lightly as she let the poor woman guide her towards the different outfits. Dresses, jewelery, and uhhh... well... It wouldn't be long before she game out to see the other two... in something that looked like she had been thrown up on by sequins and tinsel. Said tinsel billowing behind hjer as she walked. "How do I look?"

Catra has posed:
Catra doesn't even notice that she's being followed. ...No, scratch that, she'd have known even if she was in her disguise, and since she's not having her senses dulled by the amount that her illusion enforces, she has three different senses all telling her that Scorpia is following her.

But she's now in a mood. The black cloud hovering over her is almost visible, as she walks with her shoulders hunched over and her hands wishing they could be thrust into pockets, except her bodysuit doesn't have any so she's just... walking around with her hands balled up into fists. Which, is partly to avoid accidentally clawing up expensive clothing that she'd have no intention of ever wearing.

But clothing she actually wants to wear is worth looking at. She did buy that plum colored tux once, to go to that ball... the one where she danced with Adora. Before Adora did things like try to rip her head off and then jump through a portal without her.

Yeah, that was... actually a good dance.

So plum color is off the table.

Catra's ears swivel behind her, in spite of herself; she's heard everything, of course, but is stoicly refusing to comment on any of it.

"Why are all the tuxedos for men?" she snaps, out of nowhere. "Where are the Girl's Tuxedos?!" She points at one, black with white edges, and throws up her hands, "That, but fitted to *me*."

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point hears Glimmer's words as she walks away, grinning at the 'sometimes' remark. The tall blonde's eyes scanned up and down tuxedo on the racks. She'd not worn one before, but maybe she could surprise Ryoko the next time they had a date night somewhere fancy! She was not immune to Catra's darkened mood, but she knew better than to poke the cat when she was having a rough time. So instead, she started to hum as she ran a fingertip down the sleeve of a tux in a remarkable shade of red. Ohhhh, she needed this.

Looking back to Glimmer as she steps out, Sarah laughs loudly and claps, "You look PERFECT, Glimmer!" Her friend was very loud in a lot of ways, her fashion being one of them, and she wouldn't change her for the world.

Her attention is once again captured by the grumpy kitty and she pulls her chosen outfit off the clothing rack as she replies, "You can have it tailored to fit you, Catra! Ryoko taught me that. I'm going to get this one. You should get that one!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a sigh and smiled to Catra. "Because msot people are fairly unoriginal... but they do have women's tuxedos here. I just... don't know where they'd be."

"If you'd like to see women's tuxedo's, they're this way," the attendant said. Though she gave Catra another look. "Though, please try to not get makeup on them... or faux fur."

Well, it was a place idols were sent for outfits and the likes, of course they'd have women's tuxedos. If you think there weren't female idols who wore them...

"And thank you, Scorpia. Come on, Catra. Don't be such a gloomy gus. You're getting free clothes, free lunch, getting to hang out with friends. Enjoy yourself, look fabulous! Then rub it in someone else's face that you had a good time. Wouldn't that be fun?"

Catra has posed:
Sulking is easy. Stopping sulking is hard. Catra's eyes narrow at the attendant's words, about faux fur and make-up, and a vicious snap about 'This is ME you glorious idiot' reaches her vocal chords, but dies there. Gotta be inconspicuous, right. Right. Better at this point just to let people think she's wearing an outfit. Yeah.

As if even expensive animatronics could do a tail like this. Or ears.

"I hate this planet," the feline mutters, mostly for Glimmer and Scorpia's benefit. Mostly. Probably nobody else heard it.

After a moment, she shrugs, and nods once. Yeah, free clothes -- she got a free motorcycle a few months ago mind you, she just didn't ask if it was okay before taking it -- and basically just focuses her attention on that. After a moment she points towards a tux, "Red one," she mumbles, "Darker than that other one but your size."

She finally glances up at Glimmer, who'd asked how she looked, several minutes ago. "Uhm, you look good," she mumbles, as if passing a compliment risks shattering her gloomy, irritated, self-protecting facade.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point places the tux in her hands back where she'd gotten it from and follows the attendant, listening to Glimmer try to cheer up their friend. Oh man, these fabrics were soft. She starts to wonder if Ryoko knew about this shop or not and if she'd want to come visit it again with her.

She's drawn out of her daydreams and she turns to look at the tux Catra's pointed to. She scoops the cat up into a hug and squeezes gently, "I knew this would be so much fun! Thank you, I'll get that one then." She sets her back down and grabs the aforementioned outfit and holds it as if it were very precious.

Sarah turns to look at Glimmer and grins, "You gonna help Catra figure out what she's going to buy? After we get our outfits, what are we going to do? This is SO much fun guys!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon barely, just *barely* suppressed the gasp when Catra didn't just respond.

She gave Glimmer a COMPLIMENT! Oh my gosh. Oh my gooooosh! EEEE!

And she, alas, SPARKLED because of it. She could hide the gasp, but not the sparkle.

"Yes, yes, this planet sucks. But what's the saying? Misery loves company? Well, we're the company."

The attendant nodded along, mumbling something under her breath about 'creative' types. "This way," she said, motioning towards the other tuxedos. Glimmer followed along, a big grin on her lips. "Well, after this, I figured we could go out, get a proper spa day, there's a place Wolfrun recommended that deals with more..." Pause. "Selective clientelle. Who won't ask things about my wings." Or Catra's fur. Not that she mentioned that. "Then I figure, lunch. Something really posh and fancy."

Catra has posed:
Yeah, Catra gave Glimmer a compliment, and is now doing her absolute best to just move on from it as though it never happened. Her ears flatten and she hunches her shoulders as she walks along the rows of tuxedos; and then her head rises, and she looks around herself at what else there is around here.

There. Right over there. "This tux," she says, after flagging down the nearest attendant -- the same one who made a comment about her tail just now -- "But, made out of that color fabric," she snap-points at a teal-colored dress, "With a hole in the back for my tail 'cause..." she stops, for a second, taking a deep breath and visibly, to Scorpia and Glimmer at least, supressing her actual feelings about having to give this instruction, "I am NOT taking it off, it's part of my 'look'."

She looks at the attendant expectantly. Can her request be granted? It shouldn't be *that* hard. Probably some measurements to be taken. She'll probably have to rip the knees herself. But this is a start. She even glances sideways at Glimmer and Scorpia, to gauge their reactions.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point simply laughed happily. How she'd missed simple hangouts with her friends. She nodded fast in response to Glimmer's plan for the rest of the day, "Oh YES! We have to be as fancy as any star can be!"

The tall blonde grins and wiggles excitedly at Catra. The girl's enthusiasm about the tux and how she wanted it to be done, was adorable. She knew to not say anything. Mostly. She still scooped her feline friend up into a massive hug, completely disregarding the tux in her hands, "You're so CUTE Catra! I'm sure they'll do whatever they need to so that you buy that tux! Let's get going so we can go get pretty and EAT!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
The attendant's eye twitched a little. She opened her mouth... then glanced towards the black card. She then gave a small nod. "Of course, as you wish. Your... image will be preserved as desired."

Glimmer, meanwhile, was grinning. Even moreso when Scorpia picked the cat up. "It's a good look for you, anyway. My 'cattiest' friend," Glimmer said, grinning wide at the terrible pun. "Kind of reminds me of the princess ball." Pause. "Well, some parts of it. The... good parts."

Of course, the attendant would need to take measurements. Which involved dragging Catra off... and a measuring tape, lots of notes. That'd take a while, giving the other girls plenty of time to look about and get some other things. But, once that was done?

"So, spa first, or food first?" Glimmer asked.

Catra has posed:
Catra's eyes peel wide open as she's picked back up again; she does her best to refrain from actually digging claws into Scorpia, but her currently worn clothes are definitely paying a price in rips and tears. "No no no absolutely not I'M NOT CUTE" she insists, once again squirming to get free until she finally is put back down, as there's simply no way she can get measured while still being held.

When she returns, she ahems, and makes sure that she is standing close enough to be involved, but not TOO close.

Personal space.

"...What... happens at a Spa?" she asks, quietly. "I've never been to one before. And I still need to pick out a bow tie, but I can do that later I guess. Well, and..." she stops. "Damnit, do I have to wear shoes? I do don't I. I'll get some that match the bow tie. I'm getting a black shirt and gloves too."

Abruptly realizing that she's just said several sentences about her clothing plans, Catra promptly shuts up. And proceeds to feel completely awkward. And try really hard to not look awkward.

And fail.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point can't keep her grin off of her face. She tilts her head in thought and asks, "Yes, what is it that you do at a spa? I've never been to one either! It sure does sound nice though. Maybe we can do that after food? I'm starving!" Which she enunciates by rubbing at her toned abdomen.

She goes into a dressing room without asking for permission and walks out in her new outfit, it fitting just the way it should. Almost like magic. Rejoining the conversation, she rests an arm around Glimmer's shoulders and grins again, "Man, we all look so good! I can't wait to see yours on, Catra!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a shrug. "I don't know why you'd wear shoes, you've got the tail and as much as anyone is going to know it's just part of a costume. They'll probably think you're wearing special shoes anyway. Sure, grab a bow tie, otherwise we'll need to come back."

"... And wait, you never went to a spa? Perfuma never took you?" Glimmer asked, looking aghast at Scorpia. "That... that's just... wow." Disappointment in her fellow princess abounds. "As for what a spa is, it's a place you go to relax. People do your nails, your hair, you wear masks, then you get to lay in a hot tub and just... soak away your worries. Ugh, when we get home I am taking *both* of you to mystacor. I swear, what did the horde do to you... actually, no, don't answer that, I know already. And food it is. Just make sure you've got everything you want, they'll deliver it to the tower later."

Catra has posed:
Catra takes time to pick out not just one but several bow ties, just in case, though the one she clearly seems the most like she's pretending not to be interested in is the white one with the odd black thread sewn into it, just enough to give it some texture.

And then he has them queue up a second tux to make on the same measurements, in dark grey, because why the hell not if it's all being paid for by Obsidian on that neat little black card.

This is clearly not the time to cheap out.

"Alright, yeah, food first," Catra agrees with Scorpia, attempting to thrust her hands in her pockets like she would if she was wearing her disguise, and ending up just folding her arms instead. "Spa after, and... that'll be... I mean whatever. Just let's make sure we go somewhere that serves lots of either fish or meat. I can't do that... vegan crap or whatever they call it here. I'm an obligate carnivore."

She knows where there's a take-out box of noodles with extra chicken, of course, it's all over Takashi's desk. No need to mention that out loud though. And it's not like it's her fault.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point shakes her head, a sadness filling her features, "No, Perfuma preferred to do all that herself. It was one of our favorite things to do on date nights." A wistful sigh and a quick shake of her head, and she's grinning again, "I could go for a steak! And some potatoes and bread. Oh man. All the carbs! Are we ready? Catra, is that all you're getting? Let's go get some grub!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon blinked a few times. "Car... bs? Crabs? Sure, we could get crab? Is... is potato crab a thing? Or bread crab?" she asked. She had no idea what a carb was. "And sure. Let's go!"

And, of course, since Obsidian was paying... she took them to one of those nice restaurants... Okay, not the nicest. Buti t was ALL YOU COULD EAT! And some people there were in finery. But oh, wow, the three of them got some looks.

But the black card spoke. "And yeah, I remember you need to have meat. But some non-meat stuff doesn't hurt you," Glimmer said. "You seemed to like some of the cakes back home well enough." There was almost... affection in her tone.

"So, how's school been treating you two? I'll be joining soon myself. Apparently it'll help me blend in. Honestly, unsure on it. Never went to one of those fancy colleges and they always seemed kind of stuffy."

Catra has posed:
Catra can eat non-meats; she has noodles all the time, afterall, but at this restaurant she opts for tonkatsu ramen with extra meat and a plate on the side with salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, red snapper sashimi... basically just fish. And she is in her happy place. Even if she doesn't show it outwardly.

Her eyes, of course, take note of where the black card is when Glimmer puts it away. Not so she can steal it later. She'd never do that. (Borrowing is different.)

"...School?" Catra asks, halfway through her ramen. "I... I don't go to school, why would I? Total waste of time, I'm too busy doing stuff for Obsidian anyway. I'm not going to pile 'school' on on top of that. What do I look like, some kind of..." What's the term they use here? "Nerd?" She pauses, and tilts her head at Scorpia. "I mean you're not doing that nonsense, right? ...Right?"

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah Point has 3 plates piled high; one with every source of protein in the place, another with multiple types of crabs, and the third filled with a bunch of desserts. She takes a moment from stuffing her face to answer, "Carbs, are what give you energy Glimmer! Here on earth, humans need them to stay active, or something. I just think they're the most delicious!" And she proceeds to dunk a chunk of bbq pork into a pile of mashed potatoes.

Sarah wipes her face with a napkin. Because she had manners. Ryoko had taught her! She grins at Catra, "I do! It's interesting learning all about Earth and what they think Earth children need to know. I spend a lot of time in my clubs though. And with Ryoko. So, it's all worth it to be around the people I care about, and to have things fun to do! You should come too! I bet you'd like boxing club!"

Turning her attention to Glimmer, she responds happily, "This place isn't too stuffy! But I may not be a good source of information on that topic. People do tend to hang out with the same people. I've barely seen anyone from back home for much more than a few hours at most, since I got here. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with the school itself!" And she's stuffing her face again. Because she's hungry. And her feelings needed to be fed too.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon would probably be hard to steal it from, considering the card kept disappearing into the same place her staff did... weird magic pocket dimension. However... she'd likely be rewarded around the time they headed to the spa. Because then she'd actually store it in her pocket.

"You're not going there? Huh. I thought everyone was going there. Entrapton always talks about how all the magical people go there, I just figured you did too."

"Are you really that busy? I didn't know they had you doing so much, Catra."

Her plates, ofcourse, were filled with... a wide asortment of things. She was trying a bit of everything, and a biiiiig helping of cake.

"Boxing club, huh? That does sound fun. I've seen a bit of boxing since coming here, reminds me of home. With less... shocky sticks."

"..." She picked up a piece of broccoli and idly moved it to her mouth, lost in thought for a moment, eying the two of them. She then sighed. "Scorpia... you remember Horde Prime, right? You haven't seen any sign of him... have you? He's supposed to be gone but... well..."

Catra has posed:
Catra UUUUGHS loudly, "I am way, way too busy to be going to school." That's a lie; she spends half her time doing lazy cat things like sleeping, thinking about sleeping, and pretending to be sleeping, and gets away with it because she was sponsored by Majorina who happens to love cats. Lately, mind you, she's been spending an equal amount of time on tenterhooks because Joker might reappear at any moment.

"And... there's just too many people at school, it's full of people and they're all crammed together and they're all loud and you get out into the hallway and they're all just, squeezed in around you, and they all stink and scream and make too much noise and just... No. *NO*. I am not going to school, not ever."

She pauses, glancing back and forth between the two of them, while mentally constructing a plan to try to get the card after the spa is paid for, so that Glimmer won't notice it's gone immediately. If she plays her cards right she can get up to some mischief without Glimmer losing plausible deniability.

"Boxing club... okay that sounds fun at least. I would wreck every single girl or boy they put in front of me. *That* would be satisfying. But the rest is a hard no."

The feline eats a little more, and then pauses, salmon sashimi halfway up to her mouth. "...Okay explain Horde Prime to me, 'cause all I know of is Hordak and I was getting ready to kick his butt and take over the Horde, just as soon as we were done crushing the Resistance." She ahems, gesturing towards Glimmer. "You know... you guys. Anyway. He was not THAT scary."

Scorpia has posed:
All semblance of relaxation and joy are gone at the mention of Horde Prime's name. As serious as one could make licking BBQ off their fingers and cleaning their face off, is what Sarah does before she leans back in her chair and crosses her arms. She assesses her glittery friend for a few moments before responding the only way she can. Sincere. "No, I haven't seen any signs of that monster. He's dead. Like the rest of the Horde. Why are you asking?"

Sarah gives Catra a cursory glance and shrugs, "It's not as crowded as all that, Catra. I think you'd enjoy that you can do as you like and study what you want." She pauses and shakes her head, "He's not scary Catra, he's a monster and deserves nothing but the worst for what he did to our people, all of our people on Etheria."

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon gave a light chuckle before nodding. "Yeah... Hordak? Real softy. I mean... I still want to punch him most days, but he's been at least *trying* to make things better. Especially since he fell in love with Entrapta. That... Still very conflicted about that."

"Horde Prime was Hordak's... dad, I guess? It was... a clone thing. No. Dad isn't... right. Because what Horde Prime did, when he died? He took over the bodies of his soldiers. He destroyed them and took over."

"... He captured me... us, actually. On his space ship... he was the one the first ones tried to destroy and... they lost. They..." And then she shuddered, her arms wrapping around herself.

"We defeated him. We *killed* him. It took all of us. He still nearly took... everything from us..." And this? This was something Catra had likely rarely seen. She'd seen Glimmer made, upset, hurt... But this? This was terrified. Even speaking of this creature... scared her. It made her skin crawl in a way nothing else did.

"... He... was a monster. Evil. Merciless. He destroyed *worlds* and then.... gloated about it... just because he wanted some trinket. He wanted things that were... his and his alone... We spent... days with him before we... escaped."

... She considered expanding on that, but there was no way Catra would listen to that now. She'd let her know, later, when she asked for it.

"... He died. But... with the time thing... Light Hope was dead. But she came back. Using one of Horde Prime's little chips to take over Bow. And Bow isn't... that isn't the Bow from my... time..." Glimmer mumbled, shaking her head. "There's always the chance he might... too. And if he's... if there's any sign of him appearing? We need to stop him before he can get started."

"... Compared to Horde Prime, Hordak was a soft little kitten who's fangs and teeth hadn't grown in yet." She took another small bite of broccoli. "Adora and Bow don't know who he is. There's no telling if anyone else from our timeline, who remembers him, will come through. So just keep an eye out, okay? If he's around, we need to strike hard and fast."

Catra has posed:
"It's too crowded," Catra asserts, maybe a little too forcefully. Too. Crowded. "Even if it's fine for other people it's NOT fine for me, and I'm not going, I promise. I don't need anything there anyway."

The talk about Horde Prime happens, and Catra just shakes her head, "If you killed him then he's dead, people who're dead don't stop being dead, remember? It's just kinda not a thing. Like at all, period. So I can tell you with absolute certainty that you can stop freaking out about this Horde Prime guy, he's not coming back."

The feline finishes her food; she notes that someone is staring at her -- must be a the tail -- and shoots a look at him that basically just promises murder in the next thirty seconds, and he promptly focuses very intently on his udon.

Chopsticks make a clik-clak as she drops them into her empty ramen bowl, and pushes the whole works away from her. "Alright, this is... OKay fine, food was *good*, but we're done eating now, right? Can we get outta here?"

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah doesn't even stop to think about the fact that she's only halfway through her plates. Nor does she stop to think about the fact that Glimmer is in fact, still eating as she stands and pulls the smaller girl into a crushing hug. She ignores the glitter and tinsel and tulle in all its finery, and just holds her friend, offering her silent strength and overwhelming love. They'd gone through a lot together, and she knew how terrible it had been. She couldn't bare to see any one of her friends, her family, reliving the terror of Horde Prime.

The tall blonde sniffles and pulls away, setting Glimmer back down into her chair again and grins, "We'll be ok. We've got each other." Sarah turns to look at Catra and shakes her head in mock defeat, "I will convince you it's a great idea Catra! Just you wait!" She remains standing and puts her hands on her hips, "I think a change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered! Glimmer! Time for the SPA! Let's go!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
"Blrg!" Glimmer let out a less than elegant sound as suddenly HUG! And almost choked on a piece of broccoli. Blrg. She coughed, before nodding. "Y-yeah. Right. If he shows his face, he's so dead. Magic is his weakness, anyway. And there's a ton here."

Soon, however, they were done and she was quite satisfied, she even had a small bit of cake on her cheek. However, she almost went back for another bite... before nodding. "Yeah, let's go get some pampering!" she said, pounding a fist into the air.

Of course, she had to pay the bill, but the black card was for that.... and it disappeared into her pocket dimension again...

Of course... getting to the spa wasn't that hard, as it wasn't that far away. And, for the first time, Catra didn't get any stares. They were just directed where to get their robes and then they could start their wraps and whatnot...

Glimmer left the card at the desk, this time, to cover it all, before going straight to the massage...

Catra has posed:
Catra watches as Scorpia stands up, and her muscles tense up just in case she is about to be, again, on the receiving end of a bone-crushing invasion of personal space. But then it turns out to be Glimmer's turn, and internally, the feline has to admit that watching the mighty Queen of Brightmoon almost enter the afterlife on the backs of an un-anticipated hug and a piece of broccoli is oddly satisfying.

But then it's time to teleport again, and Catra just holds her breath until it's over. Seriously how does Glimmer do this all the time?! Sashimi almost comes flying back out, ready for round two, but she puts one hand up in front of her mouth and focuses on controlling her throat until it behaves itself.

"Okay someone explain to me what on Etheria goes on here and what we're supposed to do," she asks, deadpan. Well... as they're walking in, of course. All while taking note and memorizing where the black card gets put, and what happens with it. Gotta leave it there for payment once they're finished, of course, but then she has... plans.

Scorpia has posed:
Sarah couldn't stand still, her excitement for this new experience running through her long limbs and broad frame. She grabbed a robe and followed after Glimmer. It seemed like the best option. Catra certainly didn't know what she was doing either, not that she could be blamed. Growing up in the Horde was rough, roughest for her feline friend. She grins and throws over her shoulder, "Come on Catra! Time to find out what a massage is!"

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon did, maybe, enjoy knowing that the teleports affected Catra in such a way. A butt? Her? Yes. She was. But seeing Scorpia just pick up Catra? THAT was the cherry on top of this sundae. "Just strip down to your underwear and put on the robe, Catra," Glimmer said. "It's safe, I swear." Well, she did it at least.

Of course, once they were in the room... "Mmmmm... I'll take deep tissue, that seems nice. Something gentle for those two, this is their first time. Maybe something that helps her relax."

She laid down on the massage table and groaned as they got to work. How hard could it be?

... It's Catra, so yes. Yes hard.

Catra has posed:
"Wha-but -- PUT ME DOWN!"

How does this keep happening? Catra is faster than Scorpia. Catra is faster than EVERYONE. How does she keep ending up picked up and hugged and whatever else by a person who's primary attribute is big and ungainly?

The feline barely has time to process this before -- "Wait, what?! STRIP?! Here? Now? You're serious? You're serious." She looks down at herself, and the Horde bodysuit that she still insists on wearing with the leather jacket she took from Tongue Lashor -- seriously that name is laughable, even by Etherian standards -- and then back up at her two companions. And her ears go absolutely flat. "Fine but no *looking*," she grumbles. She turns around, and basically just kind of... changes into the robe in record time. Like it didn't happen.

And then she's laying on a table. With some person standing beside her... doing things. To her muscles.

Why.

Scorpia has posed:
The only word to describe the sound falling from Sarah's lips was cackle. Ryoko thought she had to respect everyone's boundaries. Not Catra's though. It was slightly entertaining. Karma for the way the kitty had treated her back on Etheria. She'd never let anyone know she was intentional about making her uncomfortable. No, she'd take her small victories silently. Plus laughing.

Stripping unashamedly, Sarah dons the robe and mimcs Glimmer and Catra, lying face down on the weird looking bed. Is this where her head-- oh, that's super weird. As she begins to ponder the purpose of a hole in the bed, the masseuse gets to work and her face naturally falls into the slot as a loud groan fills the space, "Oh maaaaaaaan. Why have I never gotten one of THESE before?? Can you imagine, after a long fight with Horde Prime, how RELAXED we'd have been!" And she continues to be very vocal about how awesome of an idea it was to have a spa day and how great a friend Glimmer was for sharing the experience with her.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon rolled her eyes. "Have you never had a massage before? Wait, no, you haven't. Of course you haven't. You're as bad as some other overworked girls I know. And, wait, she didn't?"

"Really?" she asked Scorpia. "Perfuma never had you get one? Wow. Rude. We ended up getting some right after... You should have seen it, it was adorable. Melog was purring *so* loud."

Which meant Catra was... welllll...

"And don't worry, Catra, nobody is going to look at you. Besides, you act like I've never seen you in your underwear before." Had she? Who knew. Was she more than happy to torment Catra by acting like she had? Yes. Because Mystacor was SO someplace she'd have taken both the overworked girls when she could.

"It's fine, though. Just relax, let them work their magic. Let them know if anything feels uncomfortable or hurts."

Well, at least it was a girl working on them? So maybe that helped? And the woman was careful with the fur... though while she didn't say anything, she was wondering what kind of genetic mutation Catra had to have fur....

Catra has posed:
"You never HAVE seen me in my underwear," Catra growls. And if Glimmer has seen future-her in her underwear, then that doesn't count. It doesn't! Does not. Even if her body and her future self's body are probably identical.

Still. This... actually isn't the worst thing ever. Even if someone is busy getting way too much into Catra's personal space for her comfort, at least they're not grabbing her and hugging her or anything, they're just working on her muscles. Muscles that are, as it turns out, excessively tense. She's muscular, to be sure; she might not have the biggest frame, but this girl is physically powerful, and that much will become clear to the masseuse right away. Getting the tension out of those muscles is going to be a lot of work.

Catra turns her head to look away from Scorpia and Glimmer for the moment; sometimes, you take a little solitude however you can get it, even when you're out with people. Even if nothing makes sense. Glimmer is with Obsidian. Scorpia isn't. They're all here having a... massage.

What is even going on?

Scorpia has posed:
At some point, the muscles in Sarah's back have loosened to the point that the poor girl has fallen asleep under the expert touch of the masseuse. Her head is filled with happy, fluffy memories. From Etheria. From Earth. Of all the people she loves.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon grinned even more as she just closed ehr eyes and relaxed, enjoying the feeling of her muscles getting worked. "Of course I haven't, Catra. Of course I haven't... you or Adora..."

After all, part of relaxing in the spas involved doing it in their underwear, so Catra had no way of knowing that the thing Glimmer was teasing her about... was so mundane and simple. But messing with Catra was just... too fun.

And she could feel the knots, slowly, being worked out from her body. When was the last time she'd been able to do this?

Not since the final battle... Maybe... not after that.

And now she was doing it with Catra, Scorpia... and no Adora. She gave a soft, sad sigh of her own.

They.... could fix all of this. She WOULD. In the future, they'd understand. She'd get Catra's memories back, then she'd be good as... well, old, broken her. And then Adora would be happy. And... and she'd have her mom. And this would all be fixed. It would be. It had to be.

For now, she just had to do what she could...

And it wasn't long until Catra would be able to hear the soft, even sounds of Glimmer, the other princess having fallen asleep as well. At least she wasn't a snorer.

Catra has posed:
This planet is just weird.

Nobody seems to know which side their own. Even people from Etheria who ought to know better; after all those times she's fought Glimmer, here they are beside each other basically in their underwear, having a massage, and now Glimmer and Scorpia both are asleep. How does this make sense?

It doesn't, but ironically, it makes the massage better for Catra, somehow. Nobody is here seeing her at it anymore, except for the Masseuse and you can't really help that part. She never entirely surrenderes the knots and tension in her muscles, but by the time she eventually leaves, she's... better. Than she's been in some time. At least.

She leaves Glimmer and Scorpia there asleep, as she makes her way out on her own, having gotten dressed once more. On the way out, she asks the person at the front desk to process the payment on that Black Card, and then collects it and takes it with her. WOuldn't do to leave that laying around with nobody looking after it but sleeping people, of course. That'd be very irresnposible.

As she exits the front door, she melts into her illusory disguise, and flips the hood of a ragged hoodie up over her head.

Time for Rachel Miller to go have some fun.
