Synopsis: | Takuto comes looking for Wako and hangs out with Chiyo waiting for her. They talk about terrible parents and awesome grandparents. |
Cast of Characters: | Takuto Tsunashi, Chiyo Sakai |
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
There's a polite rapping on Chiyo's third floor window, familiar: line of sight confirms it, it's the Ginga Bishounen, in henshin, flying next to the building.
Because the dorm windows are weirdly designed to be easy to get into from outside (whose idea was that!!) Takuto's able to open the window and hook his elbows and chin through the window over the ledge, smiling. "Hallo Chiyo-san, Wako-chan in?"
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
Chiyo Sakai had been seated at her desk with a few books in front of her. Bonito was ontop of her bunk snoring away in all his chubby ginger-and-white glory. The knock does cause her to place a ruler between the pages of her book as a quick marker, and she looks up toward the opening window and the Ginga Bishounen.
"Not right now, but I think she's due back in a bit. You can wait for her if you want," she offers with a gesture to the rather large room that was made to accomodate three people comfortably. "Pretty sure there's still some snacks in the mini-fridge. How've you been?"
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Okay, thanks!" says Takuto cheerfully, de-henshining once he's got at least one foor through the window, CLAMP-noodling himself inside the rest of the way thereafter. He's wearing his usual: a long-sleeved t-shirt, jeans, skate sneakers, and there's nothing tame about his hair.
He immediately beelines for the minifridge, seeking said snacks -- he's surprised there are any left. Poking through the remains of the feast, he glances up and says, Mysteriously, "I've been fiiiine. Been discussing a way to piss off my father. Let you know if it pans out."
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
It has newer snacks! A stack of packaged daifuku from Nounamu Sweets naturally, as well as such delicious tide-you-over-till-later goodies as hummus and naan chips, and even some veggies. Between Chiyo and Rashmi there was always something to snack on because they'd learned rather quickly that Wako was almost always hungry at the drop of a hat.
"Let me know if you have any good ideas. I could use to go after my mom. Especially after her latest stunt." Chiyo quiets after that with a dark expression. Only for her hand to lift and *smack* over her own cheek sharply.
The stinging sensation allows her to take a deep breath to calm herself. "Got turned into an Akuma when that happened and I'd rather not risk getting upset enough for that to happen again."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
There's mild concern when Chiyo slaps herself in the face, Takuto landing one knee on the floor so he can look at her properly for a second-- but then he takes out a big cored bell pepper and a package of daifuku, closing the fridge door with his toe, then toeing off his shoes and looking a little chagrined.
"Is your mom a supervillain?" he asks with interest, though, sitting down on the floor someplace Chiyo doesn't have to crane her neck. "And yeah, please don't Akuma out." He takes a bite of bell pepper.
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
Chiyo Sakai looks rather embarassed when Takuto becomes concerned. For just a moment she'd lost track of the situation, as she was trying to get her emotions properly under control. The question of being a super villain earns a confused look. "Ah, no she's-- Did Wako-chan not tell you?" Maybe she hadn't.
A little look is cast toward the door just to ensure the girl in question wasn't about to come through, and her shoulders slump leaving her looking just... guilty. "She's... She *was* an idol. Now she's an actress. She left me with Ojiisan and grandmother and hid the fact I was hers so she could continue to be an idol. It's why I'm not overly fond of them."
"I'm okay with Wako-chan, though! I know she wants to be an idol, too."
A small pause comes as seh regards the seated Takuto who was thankfully not causing her to crane her neck to look at him. "Is *your* dad a super villain?"
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"I can see where that whole industry would piss you off," the red-haired boy says a little gently. "I've done a lot of reading about it, and I'll support her no matter what, but I hope they don't make her choose between a career and romance."
Then Chiyo asks about his father-- Takuto starts laughing, and it's a rueful sound that's got complicated feelings behind it. Not quite bitterness, but maybe something that was, once. "Yeah, he tried to destroy the world for the power to relive his wasted youth over and over again," Takuto says finally, almost cheerfully. "We kicked his ass and broke his toys. Nothing he did was technically illegal though, so we can't get him locked up or anything..."
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
"That's certainly part of it," Chiyo agrees quietly about the whole industry and it's odd standards. She hadn't really thought of why she was okay with Wako (other than being her friend) but maybe the fact that she was openly in TWO relationships was part of it. She wasn't going down a similar path, she was forging her own.
Something to consider another time perhaps. Right now, Takuto was laughing leaving Chiyo looking a little bewildered. She does smile though. It was hard not to when someone was laughing even if it suddenly becomes serious instead.
"... Well, if you need any help... I mean 'reliving wasted youth' is a pretty common theme among a lot of adults, but to try to destroy the world for it is *way* too much."
"If you need help with him, I can still throw a pretty good punch."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
Or one very complicated relationship with two boyfriends who are also boyfriends--
'Two relationships' is probably easier to say.
"That was the first thing I did when I first met him," Takuto says with an immensely deep satisfaction. "You should definitely punch your mom if you ever see her again."
Takuto NO
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
Chiyo Sakai stares off into space breifly, clearly considering that. A lot. Maybe too much. The little shiver that runs through her leaves her grinning in a perhaps slightly sinister manner.
"You know, I just might. She just announced last month in an interview on TV that she's engaged and going to start a family 'like she always dreamed.'" Ah. Well that would explain why she was upset enough to be turned into an Akuma!
"I usually just go around and break any record or CD I can find of her music. I, ah, I may be banned from a few music stores in Akihabara."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Sounds legit," Takuto says sturdily after finishing off the bell pepper. He starts unwrapping the daifuku, keeping eyeing the door like he thinks Wako is going to come in and steal it from him. "Would it be a thoughtful or a devastatingly cruel gift to give you a stack of your mom's stuff for the new year? So you could smash more. I bet Sugatakun would be down."
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
That results in an almost gleeful giggle from Chiyo as she claps her hand over her mouth this time. No slapping here, just a look of pure amusement. "I wouldn't say no to it," she has to admit with vast amusement. "I was thinking of asking Sugata if he knows any lawyers to go after my mom or something. Child support for the years. I mean, she sends me awful gifts at times, but that's about it."
Noticing the glance to the door she can't help but grin. "If you lick it before she shows up she can't steal it."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"That wouldn't stop her," mourns Takuto, clutching the daifuku to his chest. "She's my girlfriend and it's delicious." He has much more experience with second-hand kisses.
Then he waves his free hand, dismissing that in favor of, "He probably knows a jillion, good call. You should get some of her money, at *least*, right?"
Takuto didn't, but he has a <s>patron</s> boyfriend, so whatever.
"Huh. How much for her dumb gifts on the auction circuit?" he asks, then jams a whole daifuku in his mouth.
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
Chiyo Sakai pulls a face at the mention of not stopping Wako. Then again they HAD been dating awhile so she could perhaps see it a bit. Plus, well. Second-hand kisses. "Ah," she mumbles looking just a bit embarassed. "Good point." Would she eat something of Philips sometime? Hm. Usually she was the one giving HIM things to eat.
"Oh heck yeah. I'd love if I could ruin her good-girl image too but that might not be worth it. If only because then Ojiisan and I would have to deal with nosey people, or even fans that are upset at us." All good points. Clearly she HAD thought of it before. Often.
Merch though, she can only shrug. "Well, her older stuff goes for a pretty good amount, but ..." She shrugs a little. "I haven't checked in awhile."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Ah," says Takuto, sounding disingenuously knowledgeable around the last of the daifuku he'd jammed in his mouth.
It takes him a moment.
"Sorry, right-- I guess it's a good idea to hold on to them until they're worth even more, then," he says more sheepishly. "Just trying to think of ways to be embarrassing without crossing lines."
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
"It's not that, just things came up to distract me from it for awhile." Chiyo wiggles a finger toward the daifuku wrapper indicating it. "Like becoming a Culinary Guardian. It's not as bad now, with all the friends I have. I ... I wasn't exactly very sociable when I was younger. I stuck to myself a lot."
"Ojiisan probably has a lot of her things from when she was starting out, but I haven't asked. She's his daughter, I get that he has his own feelings to deal with there. But he raised me."
- Takuto Tsunashi has posed:
"Welcome to the absentee parents club," Takuto says after finishing a bite of the second one. He licks his thumb to get sticky bitten-mochi off it, then looks up at Chiyo again. "And the 'I wasn't a very sociable kid' club I guess."
He nods at the next, looking a little wry. "Jiichan never-- he doesn't have any of my father's things, but... my father doesn't have any of mine," he says, his free hand resting against his chest for a moment, where the X glows when he transforms. "We have excellent grandfathers."
- Chiyo Sakai has posed:
"The best," Chiyo agrees readily as she shifts to lean over, and snag a can of soda from the fridge. "I'm not sure how their kids turned out so rotten but they're great. Maybe it skips a generation for some of us," she suggests. A soda is offered over to Takuto as well.
She does pause a bit before remarking, "We should introduce them, they might get along. At their age they might not have many friends around still." A sad thought but... maybe. "Wako's grandma sounds really great too."
