Cast of Characters: | Coco Kiumi, Erika Shimizu, Cho Konishi, Amanda Faust |
- Coco Kiumi has posed:
The air that wasn't summer anymore, but not quite autumn yet makes for a pleasant weather. Coco is waiting alongside Cho for their two friends, who waste no time in showing themselves, just as agreed. Coco waves to the figures of Jolly Roger, Puella Red, Tragar des Blauer Greif and Cure Daybreak, coming up at about the same time.
"Thank you a lot for being here", she tells the two of them. She gives them a brief rundown on what Cho told her. "Basically, Cure Wukong was really worried about me", she smiles, moving her hand to squeeze Cho's, "since I am not as durable as all of you, so she pulled some strings to get me an opportunity to get me up to par with everyone else, by taking a peach from Heaven."
She takes a pause, suddenly biting her lips. "It won't be easy, and I may be useless for most of it, since my powers don't work against pure beings, but I will try my best to assist." She feels squeamish about asking this of them, but they are here anyway, so she keeps up an upbeat demeanor to show her appreciation.
"Now we are waiting for Wuwu, who should be showing us the way. Though he should have been here a minute or two ago..." she adds, looking around the park. "I am sure he will be here any moment", she says as an unspoken apology to the group.
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
"So this peach... This'll power you up?"
Jolly Roger is here, the nautical-themed miscreant of a mahou shoujo has her hands resting on her hips, fingers drumming on the grip of the cutlass sheathed at her side.
"Well. I said I'd be in, and here I be." She decides a beat later after the explanation is given. It's simple enough. Bust into heaven, get the peach, fend off heaven's possible guardians while getting said peach.
Easy peasy.
Right?
Riiiight?
Apparently not, but it's worth a shot.
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Of course, no sooner had Yellow Voice mentioned that Wuwu was late... that a strange, red portal appeared. Very small. And out from it came Wuwu. The small monkey fairy, a massive grin on his face. "Oh, hey! You came!"
"Wuwu, what is that?" Cure Wukong asked, pointing at the... long... red sash he had around his waist.
A moment later, a second portal appeared. This one a golden light and far, far larger. "WUWU!" a voice yelled, furious. "GIVE ME BACK THE RED ARMILLARY SASH YOU CONFOUNDED MONKEY" A moment later a fairy, larger that Wuwu but still only about half their size, blazed out from the portal. Under his feet were two wheels of fire and in his hands a great spear, the tip more flame than metal. Around his waist was a large, golden ring.
"GO!" Wuwu yelled.
"Wait, what?" the fairy asked.
Wukong groaned. "Dang it, Wuwu!" Wukong yelled, before... well, she didn't know what was on the other side, but she knew she was a lot tougher than her friend. So she scooped up Yellow Voice and leaped through the portal, the other two following behind her.
The fairy growled and turned. "No! Stop! Don't you... Wuwu! How dare you!" He lifted the spear, turning towards the portal and...
"Don't let him touch the portal with his spear!" Wuwu yelled. "He'll close it behind them and they'll be trapped there!"
MISSION! START!
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy makes her way to the park and henshins when no one not In The Know is around. Tragar is gonna get a hug! But they won't be fighting at eachothers' side today.
As for Coco, Amy has to wonder: "Are we really sure exactly what happens if you eat one of the peaches? The legends say it gives 'immortality', or many extra years of life, but what does that mean if, um, a monster violently... kills you or something?"
Oh, Cho and Wuwu are here. And... a tiny boy with wheels of flame and a flame-tipped spear. "Wait, *that's* Nezha?!"
And then Wuwu yells the warning about the spear.
MISSION START!
"Good luck!" Amy shouts to the away team, before running to interpose herself between Nezha and the portal. She'll fire rockets if he tries to go around her. And then she starts talking. "Alright, I know you've had a rough life. Your own dad assumed you were a demon when you were born, and then all you did was stop an evil rain dragon from eating your people and because of some *bullshit* rules you had to kill yourself. Thaaat is extremely fucked up! And even now you're, what, serving the same system that demanded you kill yourself to repay some alleged debt to *the guy who tried to kill you when you were born*? Screw that! Let us help you!"
Amy tries to rapidly finish her diplomatic proposal: "Remember fighting the dragon god's men to save your people? That was a GOOD impulse, no matter what anyone says! You can be a hero like that again! Let's fight together against the system that imposes this insane cruelty!"
Yeah she may have read his Wikipedia article before coming here.
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
Ah there's Wuwu.
"Har, better late than never." Jolly Roger says chuckling.
But what's that in Wuwu's hand?
"Ah..."
Enter Nezha, threatening to close the newly opened portal.
Well. It's on Jolly Roger and Amy to hold Nezha off now isn't it?
"Go. Go go go!" The pirate says, shooing Wukong, Coco, and Wuwu through before she turns to face the heavenly guardian.
AND THEN IT'S AMY FROM OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A CHAIR-- Or well. She's talking at him.
Jolly Roger casually draws her cutlass.
"I have no idea who you are." She says matter of factly to Nezha as she steps into place at Amy's side between him and the portal.
"I just know that ye won't be getting past us." She says smugly before turning to look through the portal and call after the others:
"Take what ya can! Give nothing back!"
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Nezha obviously expected some bull. He did not expect rockets. which were now raining down on him. He had no choice but to fly back and away, the rockets creating craters along the ground. Amy's speech, at least, made him pause. And then... Jolly's less exciting one. He sighed and shook his head.
"It seems at least one of you are well read. But if you have met Wuwu," Nezha said. "You must know that we are not the actual characters of the mythos. I can no more go against the path my tale has told than you can go against--"
"That's a load of monkey droppings, Nene!" Wuwu yelled.
"SHUT UP YOU IMPUDENT MONKEY!" Nene yelled. He then glared at the two girls before him. "I will give you one chance, but only one. Stand aside and I will retrieve your friends and send them back here. But know this... if you deem yourself worthy to steal from heaven itself..." He spun his spear once before pointing it at them, the tip's fire growing.
"I will not hesitate to cause you harm. My powers, unlike Wuwu's, are not dulled due to granting them to a human. To steal from heaven is a sacrilious act I will not abide!"
"Geez, you don't have to take everything soooooo seriously, Nene," Wuwu said, now using the red ribbon he'd stolen as a hammock. "Your girls got this, right? Sure yah do."
"WUWU! THE DIVINE RED ARMILLARY SASH IS NOT A TOY!"
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Hey, if he stops fighting to talk, she'll stop shooting for a moment. "If you're not the characters than there's even *more* reason for you to think for yourself! Heck, are we even stealing from real 'Heaven' then? If it's all an act then what is YOUR skin in this game? Why do you care so much? And if it's just an act, then what moral high ground can you claim? I'll tell you this:"
Amy props her launcher on her shoulder, and points at Nezha with her other hand. "I'M fighting for my REAL friend who might ACTUAL die fighting ACTUAL monsters who make REAL people take their own lives."
She twists her arm to show the soul gem on the back of her wrist, now tinged with darkness. "/I/ burn away a bit of my magic and my life with every shot, but I spend it gladly to help a friend who's stood by my side against terrifying foes with no weapon of her own."
She sights the launcher, ready to shoot as soon as Nezha moves again, as she sarcastically adds, "If you think you can deter me more than that. I'd /love/ to hear your reason."
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
"Ye be talking to someone who already committed a big sacrilege." Jolly Roger points out. "What makes ye think I ain't willin' to pull another off?" She asks, flashing a big grin as the glint of a golden coin dances between her fingers.
She flips it once, catches it, and stows it before she draws a single flintlock pistol.
She takes the shot. Simply aiming to pelt Nezha with the magical bullet, aiming to hobble a leg, before she tosses the gun away and it dissolves to sea-foam and sparkles. Might as well try and slow the divine guardian down and make things easier if she can.
It is to Amy's sentiment that the pirate-themed mahou nods.
"Us girls... See, we may be strong on our own. But standing alone'll get ye nowhere. It's our friendships and bonds that make us even stronger than who we are, and that be my friend, too, so ye'll have to be gettin' through me as well."
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Nene gave another sigh and shook his head. "You fail to understand. These rules exist for a reason, even if Wuwu wishes to flaunt them. Those peaches are not FOR you. Feeding them to--"
"Oh, RELAX Nene, it's fiiiiiine. I took precautions," Wuwu yelled.
"YOU ARE NOT A VALID JUDGE OF ANYTHING! You lack the sense of responsibility to--"
"I am INCREDIBLY responsible," Wuwu yelled. "People say I'm responsible for things all the time!"
Nene just... Nene just groaned. "Be that as it... may... the risks you take, the prices you pay, are YOURS to pay. You cannot abet the cost by stealing from another realm, another tale. You can certainly NOT steal from the divine realm, 'make believe' or not. Just because the consequences are unknown does not mean it is FINE!" he yelled.
The flintlock pistol went off and his spear ran out, a loud clang filling the air when he deflected the bullet, forming a wall of fire in front of himself that caught the missile, erupting it.
"Do you tell me that YOU intend to bear the cost of this afront? Should it cost lives? Worlds? History? Should it taint this very world?" Nene asked before the fire died down. He spun once and his golden chamram was sailing through the air, straight at Amy! While his spear stabbed out at Jolly, the tip erupting into a blast of fire upon contact.
- Amanda Faust has posed:
> Us girls...
Jolly Roger-chan including her in that phrase makes Amy smile.
> But rules exist for a reason!
"I'm *way* older than I look and I recently learned stuff about myself that 'rules' worked to hide from me and suppress for all those years." More and more anger creeps into her voice as she continues, "Tear down the fence and live a life of compassion instead of crowing about how *you* get by fine without whatever's on the other side so everyone else should too. I was a goody two-shoes and wasted my life. People like Wuwu got more done and lived happier lives than I ever did!"
But then her anger is lightened by laughter when Wuwu points out people say he's responsible for things all the time.
As she prepares to address the next point, of bearing the cost, she's watching the spear. She has to keep him busy.
She doesn't expect the chakram. It hits her and...
explodes.
...Which would be pretty terrible, against anyone *but* her, the magical girl who shoots explosions and who is protected from using her weapons close-up and even *rocket jumps*.
Still, she's sent flying and skids to a stop on the ground. "The... cost?"
Amy gets to her feet, using her launcher like a staff to help push herself up.
And then the words, and the rockets, resume. She has to keep him on the defensive. Although she does switch to a smaller launcher firing smaller rockets to conserve magic. "How did the peach *get* there? Thousands of years of humans, living and dying and telling the stories you're based on. The peach owes its existence to humanity. YOU owe your existence to humanity. And now, it's going to help humanity by empowering a Hero to better fight horrible monsters. The *cost* was paid by the thoughts and hopes and dreams that formed the story and the peach over. But you ignore that because you were born, already benefitting from millenia of humans' mental energy, and tout a STORY you KNOW didn't happen as justification to keep it for yourself!"
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
Oh he just casually deflected the bullet.
For a moment, a bead of sweat rolls down the side of Jolly Roger's brow, and she grimaces.
That wasn't quite to her plan. Though Wuwu may be a responsible little rapscallion, that is neither here nor there as Jolly Roger is forced to defend against that spear as it lances out at her with merciless intent.
There's a dull noise and a soft grunt as the weapon embeds itself in the pirate's body. She jerks from the impact with a soft cough as she's stuck on the pointy end.
There's... No blood. Which is both probably very weird and a casual reminder that this is a PG-13 setting as she jolts from the blow... And then grips the shaft of the spear in one hand tightly.
"Heh..." She chuckles, low and throaty.
"Be that as it may... If it comes to it, aye I'll accept that cost for her." She says, gritting her teeth in a grin. "But a reminder for ye..." She does start to point out.
"Ye can't deflect with yer spear... If yer spear is stuck."
Indeed, with the weapon stuck in her as she so points out, she draws her cutlass with her free hand and starts wailing at Nezha with the sharp nasty end while Amy tries to pin Nezha on the defensive with her rockets.
Man, though, that girl has the lore on this boss downpat.
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Nene shook his head. "While it is true there are rules in this world that should not be, there are also those that should! If that girl eats one of those peaches it will throw off the very balance of our worlds you fools! Wuwu is not the one you should look up to!" he yelled. "He is selfish, greedy, lazy--"
"Handsome, equal to heaven, a snazzy dresser, an amazing dancer!" Wuwu added.
"He is a fool who would let both our worlds crumble for his amusement!" Nene yelled.
"A bit over dramatic, Nene! I wouldn't let the world crumble! All my stuff is there!"
Nene let out a frustrated growl. Damn it! He didn't-- Then he impaled the girl. Uhhhh... His eyes went wide. He hadn't expected... wait. No blood. She could SEE the realization hit him. "Oh by the heavenly host..." he muttered.
And then FIRE! Missiles rain down on him while the pirate slashes into him. Pink lines and splotches appeared on his body, flames erupting from them as he was hacked and burned by the pair. Still, he kept his hands on his spear...
"ENOUGH!" he yelled. His spear ERUPTED with fire, sending Jolly flying off it with a, well, explosive gusto. He hovered there in the air, panting lightly, before holding out his left hand. The chakram came back to his grip then. "Very well. If you truly seek to disrupt the balance between our worlds, I will no longer forgive your ignorance." The fire enveloping him began to grow, the wheels by his feet aflame as well, spinning wildly.
He threw the chakram, this time at Jolly, though now it was aflame and, if it hit? It'd rebound... and rthen keep coming at her, erupting with fire from all directions!
Nene then charged at Amy, his body enveloped in flames, leaving a trail of fire in his wake when his spear thrust at her!
- Amanda Faust has posed:
"'Balance'? You think this world is in BALANCE?" Amy shouts. "Have you watched the NEWS? The only people who talk about 'balance' and how good things will upset it are those who want to keep others down!"
He's charging her. He'll detonate rockets before they hit him. She aims her launcher down, preparing to rocket jump, and then remembers THE GATE IS BEHIND HER AND SHE *HAS* TO STOP HIM FROM TOUCHING IT -- trapped in heaven is basically dead, right?
Nene can see the realization on her face as she realizes what's about to happen and also that she can't avoid it.
The spear goes through her, and she is flesh and blood, NOT a ghost.
There is blood. It is only poorly censored by camera angles and awkwardly darkening part of the screen.
OH WAIT SHE COULD HAVE USED A SPLIT MISSILE ATTACK HE PROBABLY COULDN'T STOP THEM ALL! She was even considering doing that earlier, then decided to save it for when she really needed it since it'd cost a lot of magic!
Fat lot of good remembering that now does, though.
She looks at him, and then down at the spear. Trying to guess which organs that has pierced and how bad it's going to be. Okay the answer is probably: really bad. But puella magi can heal, right? There's people with healing powers. They'll work something out.
She grabs the haft of the spear with her left hand. "Yield." She demands in a strained voice. And if he does anything other than clearly yield or let go of the spear and flee, her right hand tries to position the launcher against him and fire an anti-tank explosion, point-blank.
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
See the thing about letting herself eat a blow like that... Chance are high Jolly Roger can only risk it once before the second time puts her out of a fight. And after getting unceremoniously blown off the spear with explosive force, the pirate-themed mahou hits the ground in a bounce and tumble. It's a lousy landing, but she picks herself up from it.
"I mean. He's got a point. Our stuff be in the world." Yeah that's a good enough reason to trust Wuwu on this as she clutches her spear wound with one hand, she raises her cutlass in the other.
The chakram comes.
It takes all of Jolly Roger's effort to protect herself from it, and it is a testament of her reflexes and endurance that she smacks it as hard as she can to deflect the thrown weapon. But it rebounds and comes back- so she bats it away again- and it comes back- and she bats it away.
Each time she deflects the rebounding chakram she's only more burned for her efforts and her cutlass grows red-hot, threatening to break under each impact.
For a moment all her focus is poured into this defense; Amy seemingly is on her own while the pirate is put on the back foot and unable to retaliate.
And Amy pays for it.
"Barnacles...!" Jolly Roger snarls as the other girl gets stabbed. "Lass the whole point of NOT DYING is not getting run through!" She says.
Irony coming from her, sure, but that's not the point here as she tries to deflect the chakram one last time.
With a wrenching SNAP her cutlass shatters on impact.
So she does something absolutely brazen.
Catching the fiery chakram in the air is not her best idea. Not in the least. Especially as it burns her hands something fierce, but she rolls with the spin of the bladed ring, turning with the momentum as she...
Tries to hurl it right back at Nezha's back.
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Nene's eyes went wide when he impaled a SECOND girl. This one bled, at least. His eyes narrowed on her. "You do realize the same thing is likely to happen to you that happened to your friend, don't you? And you're likely to not get up. Perhaps you should--"
Aaaaand then the chakram conked off the back of his head, making him stumble forward. "Ow! How DARE you!" he snapped. "You pirate! Enough!" he yelled before--
Getting blown up with an anti-tank explosion... point blank. He flew through the air, crashing to the ground and laying there with a long, slow groan... The fire was dimmed, at least. Then, grudgingly, he began to get to his feet. He held out his hands...
And the spear yanked free, flying to his hand as the chakram did the same. "Enough... of this," he said, his body bruised, battered and charred. He held up the chakram and it began to glow. "You will all PERISH if you wish to cause such destruction!" he yelled, holding up his chakram. "Perish in the flames!" he yelled, before slamming it down into the ground ,causing a wave of fire to fly out towards them! Even Wuwu had taken cover behind the hammock now.
It looked like this was it! The big, fiery grand finale!
- Amanda Faust has posed:
That should have burned a hole through him! How is he okay?! "So OP..." Amy chokes out. "Who do you think you are, Sun Wukong?" Well, she's not sure how she's going to survive but she has the spear now, which should make it extraordinarily difficult for Nene to
*SPLORCH*
She looks down, stunned. She's so small, how does she contain so much blood?!
Correction: How *did* she contain so much blood.
The red puella collapses to her knees with a cry of pain, and falls over to her side with another cry.
Damn, is this it? She had so much left to do, but it's other people's problem now...
Unconsciousness is so inviting. She won't have to worry anymore. It's all other people's problems now.
Including other people who will be TRAPPED INSIDE THAT GATE if she doesn't stop Nene!
Amy's eyes focus. The launcher she dropped disappears into sparkles and reforms in her hand, as she tries to aim it at--
A wave of fire washes over her. It's not as bad as the train Witch's. She has to laugh at the absurdity. Like that's going to matter NOW?! She's mortally wounded with seconds (minutes? It takes like two minutes for the brain to run out of oxygen, but that doesn't sound right, but there's no time to recheck that figure she may only have seconds) of consciousness left and sure, burning her skin is gonna make a fuckin' difference! "Aha-OW" laughing hurts.
The scorched puella still aims her launcher and fires at Nene's feet, wincing at the pain of burned skin holding the handle and squeezing the trigger.
This is MORE IMPORTANT than anything. She HAS to save her friends.
Amy strains to get up. It hurts so much, and then it hurts but it doesn't.
"You... first..." She croaks out, firing, and stepping unsteadily, almost shambling for a second but her movements growing smoother by the second.
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
The thing about pirates is. They don't fight fair. And expecting Jolly Roger to fight fair, when she chucks that chakram for the back of Nezha's head, well... She kind of gives Nene a look. She points right at herself and says a single word that explains everything.
"Pirate."
This devious tidbit of exposition given, she sees... Uh.
Oh.
Oh that's a very large wall of fire.
For a beat, Jolly Roger stares like a doe caught in the lights of an oncoming Mack truck. Before she regains her wits.
"Cripes that's no good!" She decides, wheeling around and looking about quickly for some manner of salvation, something, anything.
And her eyes widen as she finds it.
Breaking into a full-tilt sprint, she rushes towards Amy as the fire comes, licking at her heels every step of the way growing closer and hotter and closer and hotter--...
She doesn't stop so much as she baseball slides to scoop Amy up into her arms before she takes a LEAP...
And SPLASHES into a conveniently placed park fountain to avoid the brunt of the flames.
Her hat floats on the surface of the water for a moment before she rises with a splash, snatches it up and plops it back on her head.
And that's when she opens her coat.
A cannon falls out. A full-sized ship's cannon lands in front of her as though it just casually dropped out of her pocket.
"Right then... I've about had enough, myself." She admits, planting her boot on the cannon and adjusting its aim with her foot.
The pirate captain flashes a grin.
"Fire in the hole."
That's the only warning Nene gets before a magical cannonball goes flying with a lout *BOOM* that goes off in time with Amy's own rocket.
- Amanda Faust has posed:
*Tape rewinding noises*
Including other people who will be TRAPPED INSIDE THAT GATE if she doesn't stop Nene!
Amy's eyes focus. She's... being grabbed and carried by the ghost pirate girl? How can a ghost touch her? And then there's water and fire and GOD, it feels weird to have water pouring into her body. That's probably all kinds of bad, right? But then, so is fire.
She might've breathed a little water in just there. But that's not important right now.
This is MORE IMPORTANT than anything. She HAS to save her friends.
The launcher she dropped disappears into sparkles and reforms in her hand, used as a brace as she strains to pull herself to her feat. It hurts so much, and then it hurts but it doesn't.
Amy tries to say some line but just coughs up water before she fires at Nene's feet again.
Erika is close enough to see she's not breathing, or bleeding so much anymore.
The Puella Magi stepps unsteadily towards the edge of the fountain, almost shambling at first but her movements growing smoother by the second as she interposes herself between Nene and the gate again.
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Nene gave a soft sigh. Destroyed. IT seemed that--
However, rising over the wall of flames was a rocket?! He had barely a moment to stare in amazement before it hit. Ow. Ow. Ow ow ow. He was flown into the air....
Flying through the air, his wheels cracked, he can only stare when suddenly... a cannon. What in the world?! Why did she have a CANNON?! He tried to move, to redirect his path, but the rocket had damaged his boots... instead...
BOOM! The cannon hit him full tilt and slammed into him, sending him crashing back into... then through... a few trees. His chakram embedded in a tree, his spear on the ground. He groaned, every bit of his fairy body aching. "I-I... am a general... of heaven... I will not..."
"Don't you think you're overdoing it a bit, bud?" Wuwu asked from above him. Dangling upside down from the tree that Nene had finally been stopped by.
"I-I won't be stopped by... meer..."
"And they aren't going to be stopped by something as small as the celestial host," Wuwu said before motioning towards the fountain the two were pulling themselves out from the water. "Besides, we all know how this'll turn out in the end. I chose Cure Wukong for a reason. Do you really believe that the friends of someone I chose will let something as small as painful death, agonizing infernos or being shredded and drowned to stop them? One way or another, they're coming out through that portal. And it doesn't matter how many of you try to stop them."
Nene growled, a hand moving up to grip the tree before... dropping back down. "I... yield..."
"See, was that so hard?" Wuwu asked before looking up. "So, how you two... oh. Ohhhhh. Oh that looks... uhhh... wow. You two... might... wanna have that looked at. Oof."
- Erika Shimizu has posed:
Well the answer to the question of how she's grabbing Amy...
Jolly Roger is more of a zombie than a ghost. Verymuch with a physical form, and verymuch also shambling out of the fountain right alongside Amy.
Her cannon dissolves into seafoam and sparkles once it's spent, and she draws her broken cutlass. She, too, isn't breathing; but she looks haggard and worn as she points the broken blade at Nene until she hears the words 'I yield'.
That's when she looks down at her broken sword in hand. And tosses it aside. It, too, dissolves into seafoam and glitter as she plops down for a seat.
"Crimeney, and I thought I was tough." She huffs. But then she's waggling a finger at Nene.
"It's just like I said though. Us girls may be tough on our own... But it's our friendships and bonds that make us stronger." She echoes Wuwu. No painful death or agonizing inferno will stop her when she has a friend in need.
Still. Right now though? After one hell of a fight like THAT, though...
She reaches into her coat and pulls out four bottles of Jan Ken Pop in various flavors.
"Now how about a toast to victory~?" She declares, passing a bottle each to Amy, Wuwu, one for herself, and... She even offers one to Nene.
Thumbing off the cap of her own bottle she takes a deep pull, several long gulps of refreshing cola go down the hatch, and she lets out a sigh of relief when she stops to take a breath of air.
Only to glance down as sticky, wet, soda blooms visibly on her vest and coat from her earlier spear wound.
"Ah hells, that'll never come out in the wash!"
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy kind of stumbles to a stop. She can't help but smile as Jolly Roger includes her in us girls again. She looks between Nene and Wuwu, and tries to ask something, but only water comes out of her mouth. She starts coughing up water, and then doubles over as the camera makes sure that her vomiting blood is offscreen. She stands up, coughs, inhales, "What... now? Is it really okay for him to get away with this? I'm..." She looks down at herself. "How am I *alive*? *AM* I alive? Am I dead? I should've lost consciousness awhile ago, right? I" she has to take another breath. "I should, uh... be bleeding to death. I shouldn't be *walking*." She's handed a bottle, but "I'm not hungry right now. Also there might be a hole in my stomach." She hands it back as Jolly Roger experiences exactly what she feared would happen to her, almost cartoonishly but she's shaken by how messed up it is. "Yeah, exactly like that..."
She looks at her soul gem. Ample magic left. She presses her fingers to her wrist. Then to the side of her neck. "Ugh, I don't--" she has to take a breath again. "I don't think I'm doing it right." She turns to Wuwu, gesturing at her spear wound. "Who the hell is going to 'take a look' at this?? Do any of us have healing magic?"
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Wuwu gulped and gave a little, small, nervous chuckle. "Right. Uhhhhh... yeah. Let's..."
"Leave it to me," Nezha said with a roll of his eyes. "Consider it a... one time gift for a fierce battle," he said grudgingly, before taking the rum. "Do not leave your forms of magic," he warned before pulling out two small, white pills. "Medicine from the divine realms. You are human so they won't grant you the immortality you would need... but they should at least tend to your wounds."
"Oh, but when I go for a peach--" Wuwu started.
"The peaches are MORE POWERFUL and DANGEROUS, WUWU!" he snapped, before tossing them each a pill. It... would at least close the wounds. And they'd likely be aching for a while. And not wanna de-henshin for a bit. But hey. Less bleeding out.
