Lucia, the Mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean is unaware of her true identity, which has been kept away from her to protect her from the threat caused by Gaito. She is a straightforward, focused, and soft-hearted girl, whose kindness and caring nature shine through in everything she does. She has a special ability to understand the pain in others' hearts and always encourages those who are feeling down in a cheerful manner. Her honesty and sweetness make her well-liked among her peers, though she has a sensitive heart and can be easily hurt by even small things.
Scatter-brained and erratic at times, Lucia is fiercely devoted to those she loves, and when she starts something, she gives it her all and doesn’t stop until it’s finished, sometimes to her detriment. Though inexperienced in love, prone to jealousy and to getting into a bad mood over trivial matters, she is deeply loyal and strives to love with all her heart, being open and honest about her feelings.
She has lost her pearl after using it to heal a boy whose life had been put in danger by a violent storm over the Indian Ocean, that threw him overboard and sank the ship he was on, but has never forgotten the experience of that day, cherishing that boy's memory in her heart hoping for a reunion with him.

- Mermaid transformation: can go back to her mermaid form

- Songs that repel demons, dispel hypnosis, purify evil from the heart of people, heal and act as a balm against negative feelings and weariness. Two stages of transformation, depending on the strength they need to put into her songs
