Scorn was nervous. Queen Mirage did not call you to have a chat over tea and talk about the weather. What did she want with her? She appeared in duskport after a deep breath and knelled before Queen Mirage. "My queen.".
"Scorn," said Queen Mirage. "I am… pleased with your tick in activity recently, the energy you have gathered has been a small boon. Even if it's… small." she said. Scorn raised an eyebrow. A compliment. What did Queen Mirage really want with her. "Yes, Queen Mirage." she said keeping her kowtow.
"In fact, I have a special job for you. I wish for you to retrieve the artifact that had kept us, The Phantom Empire, contained for so many years in the recent past, The Axia. It is in the care of… Blue."
Scorn looked up because she was taken aback. Was Queen Mirage asking her to attack a god? "You're asking me to attack… a kami? I will.. Do my best, Queen Mirage. I will obtain the Axia for you." she said as she rose to her feet but still kept her head bow. "On this I will give you my word."
"But…" asked Scorn. "Where does one find a god?" she asked.
Queen Mirage gave a quiet smirk. "I know where you might find him… at a certain shrine…" she says.
Scorn was all ears. She had to prepare herself to fight a god.
