The airplane ride from Tokyo to Paris was a lengthy one. Part of the reason for the trip was to visit her parents and make sure her friends back home were alright. That was her cover story anyway. She told her parents she was homesick and worried about her old classmates whom she did hang out with while she was gone. The real reason however was far more important. Her trip required her to not speak of it to anyone save for the Kwami in her little hand bag. Tikki was along with Marinette on this trip. She simply couldn't appoint a temporary Ladybug before leaving. She didn't know anyone well enough to let her secret out. Sure she knew Adrien and she could have asked him but that would require two things. One, Revealing that she is Ladybug to someone and two, actually talking to him without stammering over her words or falling flat on her face. No, She had to take a risk and make the trip with the Miraculous.
The first day back was to hold up the illusion that she was there to check on her friends. She met with Alya and a number of other friends. Heck even Chloe showed up but that was mostly to tell Marinette that her being in Paris was "Ridiculous, Utterly Ridiculous!" and to go back to Tokyo of course. She was thrilled to know everyone was doing well. School was as it always is. Fun and carefree since Hawkmoth seemed to be taking a long vacation. That stung her quite a bit. Knowing full well just where Hawkmoth was, at least geographically, hurt her because she wasn't there to purify any akumas that he may summon. She would have to rely on Cat Noir to deal with them. What else could she do?
The second day back was the day that was far more important. She went to a tiny house in the city which was mostly non-descript. Inside, A man was using his healing abilities to help someone. In this case he was doing a form of massage to them. When he saw Marinette enter, he was surprised to say the least. He finished up with his client in a hurry and practically pushed him out the door. "Marinette. Why are you here. I thought you were in school in Tokyo?" Master Fu Wang asked as he gestured her to sit down. The short old Chinese man would pour himself and Marinette some tea and awaited the reason for this unorthodox visit.
"Master Fu, Cat Noir and I need you in Tokyo. Hawkmoth is there and has been releasing Akumas! We are going to need help." Marinette exclaimed in a worried tone. "I came here to ask for your help because you hold the Miraculous box and I think that's going to be the only way to deal with Hawkmoth.
"Oh dear. That is terrible news. I can not let you take the miracle box with you to Tokyo. I am still the Master of the Miraculous. I do understand the threat you are under and the risk you've taken in coming here. So I will come to Tokyo in the near future. Tikki will lead you to me when things are dire. I trust you and Cat Noir to handle any threat that arises." Master Fu explains as he figured out how he was going to make his trip. "Wayzz, We must prepare to leave."
Wayzz, The Kwami of the Turtle Miraculous would come out of hiding. He would start gathering some things and informing the other Kwamis of the coming trip. Meanwhile Marinette would breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you Master Fu. I'm sorry you have to leave your home though." She would frown at the thought of running Master Fu out of his home. "I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't so important."
"It's Alright Marinette. I understand the importance of the situation. We must recover the Miraculous of the Butterfly and Hawkmoth has it. If he is in Tokyo than that is where we should be." Master Fu immediately would begin packing. Marinette started helping him to get his things together feeling rather responsible for him having to move, even though he said it was okay. The next few days, when Marinette wasn't at home, she was at Master Fu's helping to pack and get him on his way. By the time her visit to Paris was due to end, Master Fu was prepared to leave. She would say good bye to her friends and board the plane back to Tokyo.
