	The Midori-ya is popular with commuters for several reasons, the first of which is that it's easily found from the main road leading into Juuban or a nearby train stop. Its gate reveals a two-story building amongst grass, trees, and a stone path that leads to a pond and adjacent dojo. While the upper floor serves as the Takamachi family's residence, the lower floor is host to a successful bakery. Sweets such as cakes and cream-puffs join coffee and a variety of other treats, and many customers sit in booths with pink seating nestled alongside light blue walls. This leads to a bright, soft ambiance that is quite popular with school-age girls and frequently visited by others living in the area. The mix of high-quality food and an inviting decor has helped the Takamachis make the Midori-ya a successful small business, run by those who love their work and enjoy being part of the community.

Treat Yourself	August 22nd, 2024	Rashmi and Molly decide to have some treats at the Midori-ya, and there run across Mami seeking beneficial social contact. Of course, running into Rashmi and Molly, she gets exactly what she's looking for... *and* a promise of actual friendship, despite the bumpy road it took to get there.
