CafAmi Belkan Nephko
Date of Scene: 01 June 2025
Location: Cafe BAKE Neko
Synopsis: Aloisia meets up with Masato and Ami to introduce themselves and talk a bit about weddings and also other things. Like their evil Not-So-Small Lady.
Cast of Characters: Aloisia Stauss, Nephrite, Ami Mizuno

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
A mysterious invitation to meet with someone at the Cafe BAKE Neko had been delivered to Aloisia! ... Okay it wasn't really so mysterious, it was, in fact, something that had likely been a long time coming. What with the whole being a knight sworn to the earth and moon thing. As such, Aloisia had shown up likely early to the requested location, that being Cafe BAKE Neko.

Where she was possibly looking incredibly overdressed because she had opted to dress up a little bit more formal, in the form of wearing a relatively nice kind of 'business casual' sort of outfit, with a nice, light, ruffled cerulean long skirt and a comfortable white buttonup shirt with little tiny frogs on it. Paired with that, she was wearing a pair of simple black flats.

And, of course, because she was dressed up nicely in the cat cafe. She had several cats around and on her, something which she didn't seem to mind and likely added to the weird 'out-of-place'-ness that she gave off as she sips from a small mug of tea.

She was giving the cats giving her attention an equal amount of attention, of course.

To not would just be rude.

Nephrite has posed:
The bell rings, and first through the door is a tall man of long, wavy brown hair. Not unlike Aloisia, he is overdressed for the atmosphere. His attire is made of expensive tastes, designer branded silk shirt and pressed dark trousers, and italian leather in matching belt and shoes. Classy watch, sunglasses pushed up over his hairline as he enters.

Sapphire eyes take a moment to scan, finding silver hair easily. Well dressed and drowning in cats-- yes, that's definitely her, he thinks.

The smile he sets upon handsome features as he moves towards her is a cordial one, a hand still pocketed as somebody smaller follows in behind him.

"Aloisia-san?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Right on the heels of Masato, Ami was close behind. Unlike the other two, however, she was very plainly dressed. A simple beige dress over which she wore an unadorned dark olive cardigan, and a hard-shelled backpack over her shoulders. She wasn't quite dressed for school today, but it seemed a convenient way to carry what she needed.

Ami's attention had passed by the menu almost immediately, far less given to seeking anybody out, but ultimately made to follow Masato's gaze to settle upon silver hair.

"Do you want a coffee, Masato-kun? I'll order." She smiled at him briefly. "Dark and bitter, right?"

She did not understand his taste in hot beverages.

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
When the bell rang and someone started to approach her, Aloisia had been looking at the cats at the time -- one of her earrings flashed slightly before Masato approached her, her gaze moving towards him as he approached. She dipped her head into a half-bow towards him.

The best she can do without disturbing cat curled up on her lap that was taking a nap there -- of course a black cat that would show up vividly on her skirt -- to greet him in a reasonably respectful manner. "That is me, yes. A pleasure to meet you, I am Aloisia Harlaown." She says, her tone more friendly than formal, though had a kind of reassuring confidence that wherever she was, everything would be okay.

"I presume you would be the one who asked to meet, correct? And the young woman with you..?" She says, glancing towards Ami with a friendly smile between the two of them. She was sure she'd been given names in the messages, but frankly, proper introductions were just a good part of decorum. She called him Masato-kun, which implied a certain level of familiarity. So probably another person involved with their group, at least tangentially. "I'm sure the moment you sit down they'll be attracted to you two like magnets as well." She says with an amused laugh. "They seem to enjoy getting fur all over nice outfits." She doesn't seem particularly upset about this, as she scritches one of the cats.

Nephrite has posed:
"Naturally, thank you." Masato answered Ami, before returning his attention to the other.

A small chuckle did pass for the fact of the cat fur. "That they do. Menaces to good fashion, the lot of them. Anko seems to delight in watching it." He stood by her table and offered a short bow, formal enough himself, though he did offer a hand as if to shake. "A belated pleasure, I'm sure. Masato Sanjouin."

He inclined his head some. "And the ever inquisitive Ami Mizuno has decided to join us. Given Mamoru's initial text mostly consisted of, and I quote, 'you have a new little sister'--" He smiled patiently, "I thought I might introduce Sailor Mercury to the new Crystal Knight of the Earth and Moon. She's just back from Germany, herself."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami had paused briefly by the counter as they made their way past, a few words exchanged there to get the orders placed and a payment made before she returned to Masato's side. And, of course, Aloisia.

Well, she hadn't quite been expecting to be so casually outed to someone she was only just meeting. This was made all the more obvious by the very sharp snap of attention to the side of Masato's head whereupon Ami looked it over as though something might be peeking out of his ear at her.

Then the second half of that sentence caught up to her. The new Crystal Knight of the Earth and Moon. Well, that made a little more sense.

"Oh! This is her! Yes, I am both of those!" She laughed a little at herself. "It's lovely to meet you. I quite like cats, so I don't mind."

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
"Adorable little menaces, that's for sure. I don't particularly mind it, obviously." Because of course she didn't, the cats were around her, after all.

'A new little sister', huh. Apparently Aloe's family had grown more than she'd realized when she swore to the earth and moon like that. She reaches to take the offered hand, giving it a firm shake. "I believe I saw you off and on in the future, but well. We were... a bit ... busy during then." Busy was an understatement, really. From the way he'd openly said things, she took it as this being a place reasonably safe to talk about magic. Or that he just also didn't care much about secret identities and such.

"As he said, I am the Crystal Knight of the Earth and Moon, in my tongue, Kristallritter." She reaches her hands up to lightly brush over her earrings. "And these are my partners, Vorhutschwester and Schutzschwester -- Vanguard Sister and Guardian Sister -- who make up my Device, Festungseid, or the Fortress Oath." Providing translations as she introduces them, because even though German and Belkan were fairly similar, they didn't /quite/ translate 1:1.

Ami's responses to being outed were watched with some amusement. "Ah, I see, you weren't fully filled in on the reason behind the meeting, I see!" She says amusedly, her light purple eyes twinkling as well. "A pleasure to meet you both, in less ... distracted circumstances, and for the first time in your case." She pauses. "I do admit that while swearing implies a lot, it is half... well, not informal, but it was somewhat to fix a small mistake I made while hopped up on the power of an ancient artifact and removed all noble titles from my bloodline -- which included my knight title." There was a slight bit of embarassment at that admittance. "So while I will, of course, do my absolute best to work alongside all of you as best as I can, we do not have to make a big deal of it in general."

Nephrite has posed:
"Ami-chan knows so much... It's fun to keep her on her toes," Masato winks, and glances aside at the blue haired girl, but nods to the rest. "Great. I prefer to keep things more casual, at least until it's actually time to act on our Oaths..."

Masato moved now to settle into a seat, easing into place with a languid air that took his hand across and arching cat. "Formally speaking, I'm Nephrite-- the Knight of Comfort and Intelligence, in service to Prince Endymion. But for a time, that name was... put to other uses."

He shrugged a shoulder. "So, perhaps I can empathise with your situation, in some ways. Masato will be fine."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami, too, was moving to take a seat now. The backpack was lifted from shoulders and slid down until it rested between her knees, on the floor. There, she could open and search through. Ami had the decency, at least, to look a little flushed for both the compliment and the jestful banter directed her way from Masato.

"Well, whatever the reason, we're lucky to have you. Many friends make for light work, or something in that direction." Ami replied pleasantly until she pulled a tiny and portable, but most importantly blue, computer inset with her astrological symbol upon the back.

It was flipped open and the senshi began tapping away.

"I don't think it really matters what either of you did while you were--" Ami glanced up and pondered for a moment. "Under the influence? You're doing good now, that's the important bit."

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
"Aaah, I see, I see. I had someone who I knew who was similar back on Tungeturm." Aloisia responds bemusedly. "The sort that seems to know everything and the rare time you catch them off guard with new knowledge is fun to see their reaction -- and fascination, ja?" She is fully aware she's basically talking about Ami right in front of her, the fairly playfully friendly look given towards Ami making that exceptionally obvious.

"Comfort and Intelligence are certainly some interesting titles. One frequently associates comfort with empathy and similar... sometime you might need to tell me how that particular combo came about -- if there is a story to it, at least. Assuming it is not too personal of a story." The talk of 'her situation' gets a very slight pause. The friendly confidence had the very slight break at the mention of it, that complicated mix of trying to keep that friendliness and a guilt that plainly crossed her face, if only for a few moments before she pushed those thoughts away.

"It was ... definitely a situation, that is for sure. Go figure that the method of activating a belkan artifact is to destroy it. I understand Chrono's response to the ridiculous to my ancient ancestors and the ... troublesome ... artifacts they left behind quite keenly now." Ami's input gets a soft chuckle.

"Yes, I was asked to assist with the wedding security in particular which I am certain extra hands would be good for. Not that I forsee many things to be foolish enough to cause trouble at a wedding that will no doubt have a gathering of most of the magical people within tokyo." The thought of what would happen if something /was/ that foolish did sound moderately entertaining though. "There was also talk of me possibly being able to act as a neutral mediator being not particularly aligned with either earth or moon should the knights and senshi have squabbles, but from what I've seen such a thing would be largely unnecessary, though I have been rather busy with some ... other issues as well. One of my other friends who is..."

Under the influence. Ah, if only it had just been that, and not more. Well, whatever. "Under the influence, as you put it. Though in her case it's more possession than mere dark energy, but regardless it is a very unfortunate situation." One she hadn't been there to try to mitigate at the start, unfortunately.

Nephrite has posed:
A faint smile suggests he will tell that story, if she'd like. The better parts of it, anyway. But at the mention of the unfortunate news, a silent 'ah' leaves him. "Yes, I know Rashmi's had some troubles in that direction... It's not an easy position."

He doesn't push or pry into it, just now. He's had his recent worries, within their circle, of certain temptations and tests-- and Nemesis certainly had tested people. He understands well enough the anxiety of a dear friend wilting into the siren song of dark energies, or old habits.

"You're right, though. The wedding is going to be all hands on deck. I've been co-ordinating a few other things, to do with the wedding... mostly working with Mamoru to ensure things are ready when certain guests arrive. Especially the bride." And, that they don't escape again.

Sapphire gaze passes to Ami, next. "Between Wicked Lady and New Moon, we haven't stopped since we returned. Mamoru and I caught some of the worst, in Crystal Tokyo... You know we had to fight a dragon, after those bastards tormented the small Princess? Mako-chan told me I'm allowed to brag about that."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"You fought a dragon?" Ami was distracted away from her tapping by that in particular. "No. You didn't tell me that, Masato-kun."

She furrowed her brows a little. While it might have seemed, on the surface, that she was completely absorbed in whatever she had been doing, Ami was paying attention to the conversation quite well. Sapphirine gaze drew itself over the Shitennou slowly.

"And worst is also a very pointed choice of wording, given the dragon." Ami noted. "You seem to have come back all in one piece, at least."

This was followed by a wistful kind of sigh. "To have missed a trip to the future, of all places. I'd almost be kicking myself if it weren't for the finer details that keep popping up."

What with the whole apocalypse and zombie-robot-people.

"I'll also be helping with the wedding a little." Ami smiled in Aloisia's direction. "Many friends and light work again, I guess. Plus, Mamoru-kun had enough sense to get some extra help with planning before he decided to go and frost his tips pink."

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
The mention of Rashmi gets a very slight nod. "Yes. That same problem is the one I am talking of, unfortunately... well, it's not the only thing on Rashmi's plate. The young woman has many, many things on her plate, I sometimes worry how she keeps it together so well." Probably with a lot of Chrono time. Yes. That's what she's going to assume. ... Maybe she should bring Rashmi a snack later.

As the topic turns to security and the wedding, she adds. "I'm particularly skilled in barriers and shield spells, and I had already planned on erecting such a thing once all of the guests had arrived, if you can think of any parts of your plans that such barriers could be of good use for. I can have Festungseid send over a general idea of my capabilities later, though I believe you saw some of them to a minor degree during that torment." Unfortunately she hadn't managed to harm Esmeraude, but whatever. "...Regrettably, in spite of chasing after them almost immediately, I am ... not necessarily particularly quick most of the time, especially since I was still adjusting to the new form of my Device." She was a bit faster now that she'd realized she can just surf her rocket lance but that's beside the point.

"It's... yeah. It's been pretty non-stop since being saved from being Prinzessin Nichts and that whole incident. Swearing to the bride and groom... the situation with the future and New Moon and/or Wicked Lady... and then there is Seriss Nyx -- the demon possessing Rashmi and I's friend -- and other ongoing issues. We might need to do another update on the Shed's bulletin board just to keep everything going on straight."

You seem to have come back all in one piece, at least. "Well... save for the little Lady and Sailor Moon." She says at that comment. "...I have been somewhat mildly out of the loop, please tell me we have an idea of their wereabouts now?" Yeah, she's been REALLY out of the loop since half the time she's been catching up on studies (Being possessed for several months is strongly not recommended!) and the Seriss Nyx stuff, plus learning and practicing with a new device... well. She was a busy lady, in spite of how relatively relaxed and calm she seemed at the moment.

"I was largely brought on for the security segment of the wedding, though if you need help with decorations I am capable of flight and am quite sturdy should anything heavy need moving." She somewhat playfully flexes. Whatever muscles may have been revealed by that flex are largely hidden by the relatively loose long sleeves though.

Whoops.

Nephrite has posed:
"The typical fare for the Wedding planning is mostly covered, though there will be a few odd additions now. Minako-chan probably could use some extra help decorating, but Zoisite should at least assist with the flowers... Koji-kun may want to do something specific with the tables. I'll need to speak with him anyway..."

Masato muses quietly for a moment, politely waiting as a server brings their drinks, and he plucks up his dark coffee when they're gone. "Mako-chan may have to make an entire second cake for Wicked Lady now." His mouth ticks, and he waves it away. He needs to explain.

"Right. When the Black Moon Clan attacked, the Royals ran headlong into an ambush of a kind. Chibiusa-chan has been turned into Wicked Lady... and she has taken control of the clan, for the most part. She's keeping her mother safe, and Mamoru's been well assured of that fact."

After taking a sip, Masato sighed some. "She and New Moon have no intention to harm either of her parents. She's intending for the wedding to go forwards, in fact, albiet with Wicked Lady as the guest of honour-- complete with her own throne. So, while keeping Demande and his lot out... we'll need to be ready to deal with those two. The current plan is a forceful purification by the wedding party, once we have Usagi-san."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Likewise, Ami received a drink as well. A sweetened and creamy cappuccino. Pretty much the exact opposite to Masato's.

"So, as it turns out, yes. Your barriers could actually be quite useful in keeping Wicked Lady conveniently throne-bound." Ami agreed quite calmly. "Though, if you could get me the information about capabilities, it'll make projections in that direction a little more comprehensive."

Ami tapped a few more strokes out before glancing up fully from the device, attention settling on Aloisia again with a grimace.

"Oh. If you happen to see Mamoru-kun getting about in a black, hand-painted yukata with a badly doodled crescent on his forehead. He's not actually evil, he's just pretending." Ami explained. "He also mentioned earlier that he wouldn't be able to help us in anything directly involving Wicked Lady or New Moon, but could with other problems. He has to at least keep up the placations with them. Its important, he's trying to make sure Wicked Lady doesn't do anything she'll regret later."

She turned the small computer toward Aloisia, who would see herself noted along some various numbers and general data-like bits. Ami had been taking their conversational time to include the Belkan in the supercomputer's recognition.

Ami smiled.

"There we go! That way I can keep track of where you are." The senshi had the courtesy to realise that sounded a little stalkerish. "Just in case you're in trouble and for coordination and what not."

She flustered and sipped at her own coffee.

Aloisia Stauss has posed:
"Hm. So perhaps I shall meet up with those three then. I have not visited Koji much since he gave me platinklinge shortly after my own Incident." Aloisia muses to herself. She's not going to particularly helpful with making a new cake, but meeting up with Mako at some point is a good idea as well -- if nothing else for magical networking purposes. Aaaand then he starts to explain the situation.
"Up until the ambush I was somewhat up to speed on -- I chased after them, but by the time I arrived at the location of the ambush, they had already been gone, regrettably." There was a look of moderate frustration on her lips at that. The talk of Chibiusa being turned into Wicked Lady, and that Usagi is safe gets a somewhat mixed look on her face though. Usagi is safe -- that's good. But that was /another/ ... friend? Acquaintance? ... That was currently under the control of dark forces.

"I wish dark forces would cease stealing our numbers. I rather prefer to have my friends by my side." Aloisia mutters. "With some support, I'm sure that between myself, Rashmi, and likely others, we can likely erect something sturdy to keep out Demande and his lot." Pause. "Unfortunately, purification is not within the Belkan spell repertoire, so I cannot help much with that."

Or Wicked Lady in. That's an option too. Hmm. "Well, I'll keep that in mind, but I'd rather not use it unless necessary." Antagonizing her sounds like a bad idea, not that she hadn't been doing other bad ideas when they encountered Seriss Nyx. Not that they had /that/ much choice in the matter. That demon really loved unleashing waves of barrets on them.

"My devices should link up with your phone and laptop momentarily to arrange communications. I can have the general specs sent over once we've set up a secure communication method so you can have a better idea, but a good summary is that I am a shield and barrier specialist, as well as using alchemy spells -- the act of summoning physical objects with magic, in Device terms -- to create physical structures to reinforce them. I could send you the basic spell formulae too, though I wouldn't be surprised if they would be unhelpful for you beyond a moderate entertainment perhaps." It's hard to do Device magic without a Device, after all.

...And then she explains about Mamoru and she looks more bemused than anything. "I see, so I shall have to make sure I only play with him, rather than fight him seriously. Good to know." Somehow she feels like it would have been obvious with how he'd fight, but well. The heat of battle can dull senses for non-fighting-related things. Like noticing the black moon is just drawn on. "Frankly, unless necessary, I think I shall avoid direct confrontations with either of them unless there is a plan in place. It seems like damage mitigation is the name of the game at the moment."

The keeping track of where they are. Hm. Aaaand she was being tracked where she was. She pauses.

"If I disappear off of that, just assume I am fighting and not in trouble unless I specifically ask for assistance. Just in case it cannot penetrate Barriers." Which is probably likely.

Regardless, she does, finally, stand, making the cat that had been napping on her lap make a little protest.

"It was, again, a pleasure to meet you both. I look forward to seeing you more in the future -- perhaps for sparring as well." She says warmly. "I will make sure to send over that information when I have it put together, and link up with you regarding the wedding as well. It is time for me to go to one of my part time jobs."

Being a literal space alien is hard sometimes.
