The body was a panting mass on the floor, drenched in fluids. Beryl sneers at the sight, tossing her head contemptuously. "Rinse him, Thetis, and leave him be for the moment. His beauty is skin-deep; there's nothing charming about what lies beneath."
"Yes, my Queen," Thetis murmurs, and lifts a hand - a torrential downpour of salt water pours over the body, washing away the mess. It whimpers and moans as the wounds are cleansed by the flooding, and Beryl looks down upon it with scorn.
"Have you tired of this resistance?"
"N-nope," the body even manages to pop the P, a rictus grin of agony on it's face. Blue eyes gleam through the mass of hair sticking to its cheeks, and a hand presses over the mess of his belly, golden light seeping in. Those blue eyes flutter closed and the healing begins.
That golden light, it's not as vivid as it once was, rendered sputtering and fragile. It makes sense. Two days now, he's been with her, and every act of resistance sends him back to this place, heaped on the floor as nothing more than a mass of flesh and limbs. She almost doesn't mind, because she knows that there's only so long he can last.
Soon, the body that houses Endymion will begin to give out, and the mind that shelters him will beg surrender.
Separated from his precious planet, he won't be able to keep resisting her. When his power has died out, so will his endurance.
And if he proves her wrong, continues to resist?
Red eyes scan the body, noting the components being eased back to their natural places, the distant look in lovely eyes.
Well, the Silver Crystal has worked miracles before. If he will not fight for her, he will die for her, and she will use his own cursed loves power to dredge him back to her.
