(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: *After many minutes, she gets a response. Because Hinoiri's confusion and curiousity got the better of her.* You wanna try talking in complete sentences there, Moonie?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: you have sunackies?! you made minions and they're sunackies? is it really sun-snackies?!

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Hinoiri sends a picture of... An AMAZING looking piece of cake, with lots of fruit in it.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: GASP do. do you... do you wanna share? >~<

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: This is a sun snack.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: If you're talking about about the sunackies, it's suna-ckies. As in sand. They're bits of cloth filled with sand and a bit of magic. They're like, a nickel for a twelve pack.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Gosh darn it... they're like ten yen for twenty. Ugh. Why does your world have so many CURRENCIES?!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: ohhhh suna-ckies... wait you have little sand dolls watching your stuff now?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: is that a no on sharing the cake?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: um, it's cause most of the different countries like thier own money, i think?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: I'm not that good at sharing, anyway. And... no? What are you even talking about? They're like... basic youma. Cheap and expendible. Isn't your cousin like, a professional candy chef? Oh, speaking of. If you try telling my roommate who I am, I'll make your life tartarus. I already got you back for what you did for me, so I don't owe you anything anymore.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: Never mind, don't worry about it! It's good to know they aren't really expensive.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and um? why would I do that? dia-chan's important to you and you're important to her, and you haven't done anything bad to her, right? it's your secret, not mine. the only way i'd tell someone is if it would save someone i love.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Well that's ominous. What are you up to, moonie? ... Wait. So you haven't blabbed it to everyone?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: 'course not! i don't think chiyo-chan's say anything either.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Huh. Surprised. I figured you'd tell everyone. Especially considering I'm kicking all your flanks right now.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: that doesn't matter. besides - you didn't tell anything about me.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Oh? What makes you so sure about that?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: that vampire hasn't tried to shank my baby brother.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: What?! What Vampire? Why would they attack Shingo?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: la crima! the one who kidnapped you and naru-chan! she did all that to you for something you didn't even remember. that means it was petty. if she'd do all that for something petty, why wouldn't she go after me - or my family - because i've actually *hurt* her?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: I'm already on the verge of wiping her out myself. I wouldn't worry about that. I wouldn't tell her of all people. Maybe I'd tell Beryl, though. There's a pretty big bounty on you, you know. She'd probably fund me for years if I told her who you were.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: She kidnapped me! What ELSE?! She's ruined so many of my plans!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: I really hope you don't. I guess I can't stop you, but - I know there's a bounty on me, from her. She hates me. She thinks I stole Mamochan from her. That's why she killed my whole planet.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and mamochan's, and all the rest. she's... she's evil, hinoiri-chan. she doesn't have rules, like you. she doesn't even want to make things better, like you. she just *wants*.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: beryl, i mean. la crima's just... i can't stop you from doing that either. i don't even know if i should.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: .... Yeah... well... You're safe from that, too. I'm not actually going to tell her. She's a mega psycho. She'd ruin all of my plans too if the opportunity presented itself. I'm evil too, you know.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Wait. You wouldn't try to stop me from offing La Crima?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: when i found out she kidnapped you and naru? and why? ...i... really wanted to do it myself. i didn't, mostly because people like sharpsong talked me out of it.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and - thank you! and you're not evil, hinoiri-chan. you're powerful and you're kind of selfish, and sometimes you're really mean, but you're not evil.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... I kidnapped Naru, you know. My reasons weren't exactly that much better. At least in her case kidnapping Naru was an accident.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: you kidnapped naru because you wanted to experiment on her, which was a real dick move and i'm not over it. but naru is, and she's not mad about it. she's not really mad at la crima, either, i guess, but - at least you thought naru was a *threat*.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: la crima didn't think hinoiri kirara was a threat, she just wanted to make you suffer because she was angry.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... For the record, I didn't kidnap her because I wanted to experiment on her. I kidnapped her because I wanted to find out what power she had. Which, by the way, I'm certain she still has. I was really close to unlocking it, too, before you sparkle skirts nearly blew my head off.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: oh? when you dropped those notes off that day, I kinda thought... that was what you did it for. And! I'm pretty sure she has power too!! But turning into a youma would probably not help that power get out. :( sorry about your head though.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Sure. And I told her I would. I keep my word, I'm not... ugh. You can't ever make anything easy, can you? You know we're enemies, right? You should be gathering up a posse of your skirts and trying to ambush me. Not asking my opinions on... Well... ANY of this!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: we're *professional* enemies, hinoiri-chan. work doesn't have to get in the way of friendship.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: besides. i'm not giving up on you. and also ambushes are a last ditch effort.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Since when are you a professional *anything*?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: You know the only chance you have of beating me is if you go all out, righht? I'm not like the rest of them. You can't just moon sparkle me and I'll go 'relaxing' or whatever and then be all gung ho to be your best buddy, right?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: it sounded really cool though, you know?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and yeah, i know. that's what we did with hemachan. but you know how scary that was? it was scary. he almost died. i don't think you'll give up easy, because you really want this. but i have to do my best to stop you, because i have to protect people from what you're doing. but i don't hate you, so i don't want you to get hurt.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... If you don't want to get hurt, stay out of my way. If you don't want me to get hurt... Well, you can't hurt me anyway.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: oh i hate getting hurt! i really do. but i'm strong, so - it's my responsibility to help people. and the more people i protect from you, the more i protect you too.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: How, exactly, does that protect me?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: because you don't want anyone to get hurt either. if you could do you ascension thing without taking from other people, you would.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Probably. But that's not the way things work, now is it? Someone always has to fight. someone has to make the tough choices. Someone has to be the bad guy. Unless your miracle rock there can turn me into an alicorn, I don't have a lot of other choice.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i mean. we could try. but i don't think you want to get it that way and also it would hurt like, a lot, because i have it on good authority the happy juice hurts, and my silver crystal is like 100% concentrated power of happy juice. uh. purification, if that wasn't clear.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Please, if I cared about being hurt, I wouldn't use dark energy. Sometimes the pain is a necessity, Usagi. But I don't need purification, I need power. And I can't get it from your lot... so I'll get it from Obsidian.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: just - if you ever get hurt bad, call me. i'll make sure you get help. okay?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Seriously. You and Sayaka. What is your bucking deal?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i know we're enemies and whatever, i'm sure you'll do something that really ticks me off, but i don't want you to suffer, or anything. i feel like you've done a lot of that.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Why even act like you care? Why try and be all buddy buddy with me?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: We're ENEMIES! Until I get what I want we're ALWAYS going to be enemies! You can't just... ugh. Usagi? I'm going to dumb this down for you, real easy. In a way ever someone with YOUR grades can understand.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: because i do care! it would be a lot easier if i didn't. but i do. you're my friend. you're my friend and i care about you, even when you're a big jerk, alright?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and i don't care about my grades being bad. they're actually like, way better than they've ever been.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: If I stay here, what happens? The veil. I lose everything. My childhood. My life. One day I forget I was ever a unicorn. I forget who I am. I forget my life. My destiny. I. Forget. Everything. There is literally no other path for me than this one. Because you know what the alternative is?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: I join your stupid, idiotic lot. I give up dark energy. I accept being powerless. Then in four or five years... I lose everything. I forget who I was. And, what... believe it was all make believe? A game? What happens then? Do you people all just remember me as that weird orphan girl who's parents abandoned her in the woods because they thought she was too much trouble? Who made up stupid stories about mattering to some great alicorn ruler? Who thought she would one day rule the sun?!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i get it. i didn't use to. but i do. i was a princess, hinoiri-chan. i lived on the moon and my people were spread across eight planets and their moons, and i loved people and they're dead now. they're all gone. it's only because my mama died for us that any of the people i love are still here at all.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i think about the fade and i think about forgetting all of that and how it will mean beryl won because none of it will ever be known to anyone ever again.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and i get it. i can't go back either.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i'm not willing to hurt people for it... but i'm lucky. i don't *have* to. i don't have to find out. i never really had a choice in being anyone but what i am.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and... i guess you're making your choice. about who you want to be. so i haven't tried to make you give up being magic and having power. you're the only one who can make you choose something else.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... I... don't want to do this... But there's no other choice, Usagi. It's almost over. Soon... soon I'll ascend and it won't matter anymore.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Worry less about me and more about the people who get in my way. I am so, so much stronger than any of you could ever be. Or did you forget about my Eclipse Zones? Or how it takes usually three or four of you to fight me?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i haven't forgotten anything. i'm worried about my friends, too. and the ones who aren't my friends, but are on our side. but i know we'll be okay. we've got each other. but i don't know how many people you're letting stay with you.
