Profile
At first glance, Kano Watanabe appears to be a serious, quiet, and studious young man. For any school staff who have seen his record, and a great many delinquents, they know otherwise. Kano is impulsive, short-tempered, and violent. The fact he also has amazing grades somehow despite that is even more puzzling. He has been friends with Natsu Oukanno since middle-school, and probably understands him better than anyone. While he's not a villain otaku, he does prefer to play the 'evil' side in games, RPGs, and theater. He is a recovering Chuunibyou, and the fact that Natsu plays into Kano's off-the-cuff imaginative detours from reality makes the two an unlikely pair with a strong bond.
With one of his other best friends, Jin Kishimura, now back in town and attending the same school, Kano is starting to come out of his shell, at least around him and Natsu. Even more thrilling, Kano has discovered that magic is real, and been convinced to take possession of a magic item that turns him into a walking focus for Dark Energy straight from the Dusk Zone. As Shogun Mogura, he is the perfect accomplice to Overlord Maou's diabolic and poorly documented plans.
