Synopsis:	Following the bruises Coco has gotten in the fight against Red Tree's Chambers, Yuuto approaches Coco to show her his love and care.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
It was just after the fight at the aquarium, where they fought against that horrid woman who would literally murder to get a corset. Coco would have never thought such a petty type of cruelty could ever exist. It almost makes her miss Gaito. Almost. Unfortunately, Chambers also was in the possession of strong abilities that pierced through her repelling effect and threw her away several meters.

As a result, she is still sporting her own bruises from that encounter (at least, she can find contentment in the baby beluga being safe now). Though she has not gotten back to school yet. Instead she is staying in her own home first, taking a break inside her pooo, halfway below the surface. Maybe Cho and Yuuto won't decide to come all the way here to press the issue.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Part of the whole 'I promise you' was the whole 'sickness and health' thing, which also means 'when bruised and battered'. Plus, Coco made the fatal mistake of giving Yuuto his own key to her little hideaway. After the fight was done and Yuuto stayed behind a bit longer as the sole represenative of the Steam Sentinels... that's it's own problem to face later, he went by a small all-night pharmacy and picked up some bruise cream, ointments and other ailment treatments, along with a dinner of fresh sushi and rice balls and made his way to Coco's private pool house.

The clattering of keys will announce his presence as he makes his way into the home, with only a small stop by the changing area to switch into his swimsuit as he comes out into the main pool area to find Coco nursing her wounds. "Hi, love." he greets with a worried smile. "I brought some food and treatmenets, if you don't mind letting your boyfriend dote over you for a bit?"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Not like she actually thinks that giving Yuuto was a mistake even in circumstances like these, and that's why she isn't really surprised when she hears keys opening the door. The mermaid emerges as a result, a smile ready to greet her love. Because despite the fact she didn't really want him to worry, she can't help but be very happy that he actually did all that for her. Though, her being in mermaid form probably doesn't really help with that, since he can see every single bruised spot.

"Isn't it about time you start calling yourself my fiancè?", Coco smirks when he calls himself her boyfriend. Hoisting herself on the board of the pool, suppressing the wince that comes from the bruises on her tail getting into contact with the floor, and she gives him a light kiss before looking at what he brought. "This is all so amazing, thank you, Yuuto", she happily beams at him, that Coco's confirmation that she is rather thankful for his surprise plan.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"I mean, usually fiancè means that I have officially proposed marriage to you." Yuuto points out, "And it's my hope I get the chance to ask Aqua Regina for the permission to marry you before I actually do that. What we have done so far is that I promised my heart is yours and no others." he says as he sets down the food near the edge of the pool where Coco can easily reach it before he moves to take a seat as he takes out a small tube of bruise ointment.

Patting his lap, he encourages, "Tail up here, so I can start applying this. It'll help with the bruises and recovery - and I stopped by Nurse Meiou's office and got you a couple of pieces of Guardian Daifuku's healing candy." he explains, gesturing to the small bag that he drew a heart with a band-aid on. "So for the first time ever, I'm going to encourage you to have dessert before dinner."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Well, someone here is thinking that we had said to each other sounded suspiciously like marriage vows, so we almost went a step further were I actually intending to have us married then", she winks at him while showing the ring on her left hand and reminding him she in fact can officiate weddings as the ruler of the South Pacific, and could have actually made that legally binding had he asked her to.

The mermaid does as asked when Yuuto points to his lap, even if she is still covered in water all over, and they will probably have to get him a spare after this is over. Positioning herself so her tail lies perpendicularly to Yuuto's upper body. "You are so thoughtful, but it'd be a waste of good cream to instead eat those candies", she teases him.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"I'm perfectly aware, but I'm also old fashioned and want to introduce you to my family before I say we're engaged." Yuuto comments with a small smirk, taking the hand she offers to him and places a kiss on the top of it, before he chuckles. "If I was a resident of your kingdom, you would have every right to declare me your husband and thst would be that. But, I'm not." That may change in the near future, but for now, he's not trying to freak people out by saying he's married. Give him a couple of months to warm to the idea.

"The candy is meant to be used in concert with the cream." he points out as he squeezes some out - and this is why he wore a swimsuit, he knew he would probably get wet. Starting to apply the cream to Coco's skin and scales, he's careful with his touch to not apply pressure and hurt her. "I should have warned you that Chambers is pretty powerful... but I didn't have that much information. It's the first time I actually met her. Tinker was filling me in mid-fight. Apparently she's the daughter of Red Tree's chairman."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
That wasn't actually meant to be a serious offer when Coco said it, and when he takes it seriously, the yellow mermaid interrupts the application of that cream to give him a hug. A hug both warm and wet at once, but something that isn't a concern given he has brought his own swimming suit. "Don't worry, Yuuto, you will know plenty in advance when our wedding will happen. Besides, no wedding is complete without guests, and as much as I love you, I wouldn't have accepted something so lonely."

Then she starts reassuring Yuuto, only wincing the bare minimum she can manage. "It's ok, none of us could have predicted it something like that, and I have a doting boyfriend to make it all worthwhile", she kisses his lips lightly.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Considering that Yuuto's only wearing his swim trunks, there's plenty of him to hug as he returns the hug and kiss for a moment. "I assumed any wedding would have to be a huge event. It's not every day a Princess gets married after all." he points out. "And I'm sure you would also want your Prince Consort to at least have graduated high school." There's a small grin at that, before he turns his attention back to her injuries.

"I'm glad you're okay. I should have done more to protect you." he murmurs quietly, shaking his head. "You're always an open target on the stage, and I didn't realize she was going to target you directly. I'm sorry."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Probably", she agrees over the reach of her wedding. "I would have to invite all of the other princesses, then the other key figures in their kingdoms. Hippo too would be there. And Aqua Regina, of course. Cho, obviously. I would also invite Madoka, Amy, Hannah, Usagi, Mamoru", she starts listing as examples, even when the really worrisome part of her list was that 'key figures in their kingdoms'. That alone would include many.

"You don't really need a graduation to be a great sculptor", Coco points out, while she rubs her hand with his, but don't worry, waiting until your diploma is good." Even if hopefully she would be allowed to be there.

"It's going to be a really big event. Even bigger than prom." Yuuto is realizing this, and for a moment, he looks a little pale as he takes in what a scope that would be. An event for the South Pacific to remember, their Princess taking a Prince.

"I'll have plenty to work with." he admits with a small chuckle as he squeezes her hand, trying to be gentle as he applies the balm, "I'm sorry. I know it hurts right now. It'll feel better in a moment." And with that, he returns the kiss.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Isn't that a problem?" Coco asks worried when Yuuto compares it to Prom. "You will see lots of people that you never knew and never will know, just because they are there to see the Princess getting married", she addresses that issue, even as she knows she will never be able to stop their marriage from being politically infested.

"Don't worry, you are going great", she exclaims, having kept all the wincing to nothing so far. "You definitely have a good touch for this kind of activity. Must be all the delicate shaping of statues. I am feeling well thanks to you, and your passage is fresh and tingling in a positive way", she actually suggests.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"You know..." Yuuto muses for a moment, as he pauses at his work and reaches up to cup the mermaid's face in both hands. "There could be a million people there. A billion. It wouldn't matter. You know why?" he asks her, his emerald eyes meeting his love's yellow ones. "In that moment? In those moments when we exchange our vows? You will be the only person in the universe, Princess Coco." he admits to her.

Having finished with the application for now, his hands drop from her face to embrace her gently around the middle. "And I'll worry about everything else after I marry you." he promises, a kiss pressed lovingly to her lips. "And I will spend my days by your side when you need me there, and working on statues when you don't."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"I love when you bring out your sweet talking side", Coco smiles at Yuuto just showing how exactly is concern over the wedding matters is measured. "What if hypothetically speaking, my love for you was enough to cover for that many people? Then there would always be such a huge quantity around", she grins pleased, even knowing that suggestion to be rather ridiculous.

"Though, there is also the moment of the vows being shown to the entirety of the South Pacific kingdom, which it is a generally." Which probably didn't actually count. "Now whatever will I do, though? You being sweet at me twice in short succession while you help me with the most delicate touch ever? You spoil me, Yuuto", Coco replies, then kissing him with a loving press of her lips against his.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"You just want to keep me overwhelmed." Yuuto responds, before Coco finds the best way possible to silence him. The warm kiss lasts for several moments, affectionate and loving before Yuuto pulls back and draws in a breath. "Wow. I think I just fell for you again." he teases.

"Alright, lets get you back in the water, and we have food to eat... and I plan to stay here with you until my skin is all wrinkly from being in the water for too long - which is obviously a problem you don't have." A smirk.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Such a shame, I guess it's my turn to apply the cream then", Coco teases him, letting him imagine what the other way around would be like (even if there was that time he had gotten hurt and she just sang at him for hours until he was all better).

"Wrinkly skin isn't really a thing for merfolk", she confirms, before she gets an idea and moves her arms around his, giving herself a leverage with her tail to push them both underwater while they kiss, extra air sealed in there.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"Well, maybe someday I'll figure that ooooOOOUT!" There's a surprised yelp as Coco pulls him into the water and under and it takes a couple of moments for him to get his bearings. Fortunately for him, Coco is there to keep Yuuto calmed down and distracted with that deepening kiss.

His arms fold around her again, his hands playing along her sides and hips and then up into all that blonde hair to caress her, his eyes closed as he shares in that loving kiss with her.

When it finally breaks, his eyes open and his forehead presses to hers.

When that underwater kiss breaks, Coco just holds him with her while Yuuto still air in his lungs, inviting him to look down at the plants she has been cultivating, that mix of colours she is proud of, turning her pool into a subject worth of a painting that would let her expertise and dedication shine.

Even if that would actually be outshined right now by the love that fills those golden eyes to the brim, love that is Yuuto's to gaze at until he feels the need to go back up for a breath of air.
