Synopsis:	Mimi has separated from Sheshe, and it's up to Sailor Chibimoon, Cure La Licorne, She-Ra, Puella Red and Yukihime to foil her new scheme when Laura gets caught in it.

Laura La Mer has posed:
The sun has just started to touch the roofs of the warehouses at a port in Tokyo, and in a few minutes, it starts shining bright on the low walls sticking close to the large buildings. One spot, however, remains shadowed, a dark blur in space shaped like a person with fin for ears. Contrasting the oddness of her appearance, the figure keeps kicking the air, just dangling her legs back and forth while sitting on the wall.

"Why did we have to split? This is soooo boring", Mimi grouses, watching the colours of the port around her slowly come to life. Just looking around for any sort of magic didn't really have a lot of success, she thinks. "What even is wrong with that!? Isn't this one of the centers of magic?" If only at least she had a magical girl to lead her to one. She could even snack on her afterwards. Might even be a lot more nutritious than that unawakened Panthalassa.

A series of cries break the monotony, bouncing between several gulls, and the swarm lands just not far from Mimi, unaware of the demon that hasn't wasted any time speeding towards them at the sight. "You! You can help me", the shadow says with a triumphant smile, holding one by the neck. The creature starts squawking loudly and hitting Mimi's hand repeatedly with its beak, but nothing changes in Mimi's expression.

Rather, blue energy starts coating the scared creature, and slowly the frantic movements stops. "So your job is to go harrass as many teenagers as possible, got it? If one seems to understand you, they are a magical warrior for sure. With some luck, they might even be a mermaid. Go now!"

She releases the bird, and the creature starts flapping its wings. << Yeah, fine. I will be back>>, it says, and starts rising in the air, wobbling a bit.

A few hours later, Laura is walking in a different section of the Port Warehouses, followed by Kururun, and is feeding her the fairy's favourite shell cookies. She isn't minding much where she is going, heading towards the stone wharfs. "Nice cookies. So you really like the sea, huh?" There is a flutter of wings, and a seagull bounces down in front of Laura.

Laura looks away from the pink seal and stares down at the seagull that has just started blocking her path with its entire wingspan, tilting her head. She smirks and replies. "No duh I do, I am a mermaid. Didn't expect that did you?" The seagull squarks in a sound that sounds just like a laugh. "You have a big imagination. You must love the sea so much!"

Laura's face turns into a scowl. "What do you want? I am not just a mermaid. You are talking to the future queen of Grand Ocean. Amazing, isn't it?!" She quickly smirks proudly.

The seagull squawks its laugh again. "Yeah, sure. Mermaid royalty. I bow to your fantasy", it comments, lowering its neck. Laura begins walking towards the bird with stomps, but Kururun pulls on her sleeve, calling out with its usual speak. "Fine, we can go. But me and you aren't done." She starts taking out the Aqua Pot, and with a press of the conch, a spray releases that turns into a shimmering blue portal.

Chibiusa Tsukino has posed:
    Luna-P has some pretty strange whims sometimes.

    One wouldn't expect that of a catball that exists mostly to be both a toy and a playmate for a future princess, but Luna-P Ball has a mind of its own, and she makes that very clear on days like today.

    Chibiusa didn't hear the crow harassing random teenagers, and she herself is not a teenager so she didn't get bothered, but her catball did notice and did take an exception to the bird that annoyed it for reasons that the futuristic toy kept to itself. It did, however, ping a couple times at Chibiusa before escaping her embrace and bounding off on its own.

    "Luna-P, wait!" calls out Small Lady, giving chase to the toy as it bounces away from her, constantly pinging and beeping at her in a steady, calm, yet repetitive way. Like a wordless urging saying 'follow me'. It's only when Chibiusa looks up that she notices the seagull that Luna-P is pursuing.

    Eventually they round a corner and see Laura and Kururun talking as the seagull squawks at them. Small Lady embraces her catball and peeks around the corner, silently watching. Laura is opening a portal, to go back home maybe? Normally she'd go out to greet the princess candidate, but for now she clutches Luna-P closer and watches.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
Adora Rainbowfist is at the docks, too! Well, not alone. She's actually currently with her little girl gang, five other girls with her. They're chatting about one thing or another, each one with an ice cream in hand in various states of devouring. They weren't here doing random acts of good like they frequently are, instead just enjoying each others' company.

That is until they walked up on a seagull blocking another girl's path and then a portal opening. Adora just nods at her friends, who quickly turn to start taking shelter. Juuuust in case. Soon, Adora has approached Laura and the Seagull. "Hey, everything alright over here?" She asks quickly as Laura walks towards that portal, the Bracelets of Power ready to be shifted to their true form at a moment's notice. But... it's just a seagull, it looks like. Not a youma, right? ...But it was blocking Laura's way, right? ...Hm. Weird.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara was many things. Ask anyone. They'd likely have a *lot* of different things to say about her. Depending on who you asked, they might even have some positive things. But, in that moment? The thing she was most? Was lost.

She had no bucking clue where she was.

See, you'd think she'd have been fine after being in this world as long as she was, and you'd be right. But she had one (many) fatal flaw(s). Pride.

She didn't realize she was lost.

What started with helping a friend move his stuff around in his antique store had devolved in her offering to drop off a package down by the docks for him and, after dropping it off, she'd ended up putting her phone away and was *certain* she was just 'a few blocks' from where she needed to be, now.

She was nowhere near there.

At least nobody was waiting for her. And in this case? It worked in her favor. She caught a flash of pink and then another flash of pink (two pinkettes, one day?) out of the corner of her eyes... and was even more certain she knew exactly where she was. After all, why else would Laura and Chibiusa be near here if it wasn't near the school...

She quietly walked up behind Chibiusa, peering over her and around the corner before... "So, what's yah watching the lil mermaid and the birdy for?" she asked in a playful manner, keeping her voice down. Just in case. She assumed Chibiusa had her reasons, after all.

Amanda Faust has posed:
    Amy wanted to see what Adora's gang does and has followed them from the school, ping-ponging between happily chatting about whatever and getting all self-conscious and worried that she's weird.

    "I'm glad I'm not weird for liking ice cream year-round, even when it's cold. Hey, shoo." She comments at one point, and motions for the seagull seemingly looking for free ice cream to leave. Caw. CAW!" She screeches at it like an angry bird to get it to fly off.

    Later the same bird is accosting... is that Laura? "I'll be fine, too. It was nice meeting you all!" she reassures the group heading off to... take cover?

    "What'd you tell them...?" she wonders to Adora as she follows after.

    Laura gets a smile and a wave, "Hey! Is this bird a friend of yours? Or... not a friend?" The way it was blocking her path earlier did seem kind of hostile.

Laura La Mer has posed:
"What is it?", Laura asks a bit abruptly as her path is stopped yet again. She looks up and up at the blonde girl approaching her, wondering to herself why is it today that people seems interested in stopping her. Well, she can't fault others for wanting to chat her up, but she has something better to do right now. "I don't think there is anything wrong happening", she replies looking a bit confused.

Is she trying to help with the bird? She gazes at the rest of Adora's gang still walking away wondering why she has sent them away. What is so dangerous here? "Is everything ok with you?", she turns the question around.

Wait, could it be... Is this about the portal?

Laura looks Adora up and down, humming quietly and losing interest in bird and portal alike. This could be a chance. This girl looks tough, and if she is used to go around fightig threats, she might be a good candidate for her team! She is even the boss of her own clique. Ok, Grand Ocean can wait, she needs to know more.

"Well, then, you see, you are talking with none other than the Queen candidate of Grand Ocean, and you could be a great resource, if you can become a Tropical Cure. You could be good, great even! Wanna know more?", she tells Adora with a smirk.

That smirk fades as a strong dark energy sensation enters her perception, and the pinkette turns to the shadow just approaching them, stepping around Adora to protect her.

"Pretty Cure! Tropical Change!", she announces as a pink sphere surrounds her. Taking off the Heart Swirl Ring and inserting sideways into the keyhole of the Mermaid Aqua Pact, she twists it upright and its seashell cover splits in half, revealing a purple base with white stars and blue waves on the left side and white hearts on the right side, surrounding a blue circle with a motif of crystals all around a white sphere.

The opened compact transforms her completely, enriching her appearance with make-up and her clothes as Cure La Mer. Jumping upwards with a splash of waters, finally Laura introduces herself. "The Shimmering Ocean! Cure La Mer!"

"What do you want?" she demands. "I just got some interest in your little portal there, and a little bird told me you are a mermaid, so I want to get you too", she replies, shifting her hand to her hip, with her red eyes flashing. She really just found a magical girl. She doesn't look like a Mermaid Princess, but all this wait is finally leading somewhere. She just need to drain the energy out of that portal.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Oh, I didn't tell them anything. They just know to go find somewhere safe when weird stuff is happening like a seagull acting weird and a portal in the middle of the docks." Adora replies to Amy, giving a shrug. They hadn't /really/ been treating Amy as if she were weird, though she had gotten a few looks at this new girl joining in their stuff.

It might have been part of why they had decided against doing the little harmless vigilante things they tend to do. Like cleaning up graffiti and parks or whatever. That's their secret gang stuff, after all! ... Okay not so secret they probably were pretty well known at the moment.

Laura meanwhile responds that everything is fine and such. "Oh. Huh. Okay! I uh, just saw the weirdness with that seagull and then the portal thingy and figured I'd get over and be ready in case something was happening." Adora says with a helpless shrug. "So uh, I guess everything's fine then." And then Laura introduces herself. And asks her about possibly becoming a Tropical Cure! "Oh.... uhhh... that's..."

Darkness approaches, and suddenly Laura is moving to protect /her/. Well. This is certainly...different.

Wait no, focus, Adora.

Adora shifts those Bracelets of Power quickly, turning them into the Sword of Power. "For the honor of greyskull!" Adora calls out just as Cure La Mer transforms.

And she lifts her sword in front of her face, holding it a few moments as a circle of power appears around her, obscuring her from vision as she quickly transforms into She-Ra.

Hey look, now the lady had found /two/ magical girls! "Sorry, Cure La Mer, but I'm already a Princess of Power, I don't think I can be a Tropical Cure." She-ra says a little awkwardly.

Chibiusa Tsukino has posed:
    When Hinoiri asks her what's up, Small Lady makes a shush noise at her while keeping her eye on the seagull's exchange with Laura. Partly because she wants to hear what happens, but also because she doesn't really have a clue what's going on and being mysterious is better than admitting that you're spying on a friend for no clear reason.

    Well, and then a strange and clearly evil shadow appears and gives them a reason.

    Chibiusa looks back at Hinoiri and says, "Well I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that."

    Whatever Luna-P picked up on has apparently turned into this, so there's not much left to figure out. Baddies are there. Go fight the baddie. "Moon Prism Power... MAKE UP!"

    Emerging from the corner is Sailor Chibimoon, pointing dramatically at the dark shadow. "Stop right there! Magical mermaids are an important part of our community and I won't have you messing with them at random. In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"

Miho Inada has posed:
    Miho came down to the docks, mostly to stare at the beach. She's waiting for beach season to begin. God, warm up please! She wants to try on her new swimsuits! The girl sighs a bit before she notices Amy in the distance. So, the girl stretches out a little bit before she starts towards the group. As she walks towards the group, she notices Laura henshin. This makes her step back a little bit, and hide down an alleyway for a second.

    "Youkai Musume. Yukihime.", she whispers. A localized blizzard comes down in the alleyway, and covers Miho before she henshins into Yukihime. She takes a deep breath as she summons forth her bow. The mahou walks out of the alleyway. Yukihime lifts up her hand, and blows on it, sending a small wave of snow off before it forms into a snow bird that takes off into the air. She takes a deep breath as she starts to approach the group.

    Yukihime gives a small bow to Cure La Mer. "Cure La Mer.", she offers as she looks over to She-Ra and Adora. She bows her head to them. Yukihime offers Amy a smile. "Amy. I would greet you normally, but well, we both know that is a bit difficult like this.", she states formally. Yukihime's voice is soft. She looks at She-Ra a bit, and has to look up. She's not used to looking up at people...Yukihime hasn't seen Hinoiri or Chibiusa yet. At the moment though, her attention is focused on her snow bird. Just what is going on? Maybe a bird's eye view will help her see things a bit more clearly.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara blinked a few times and... Oh. Oh HECK no. Now they're trying to beat up her PATRON?! Sorta. Laura was kind of her patron? She was the one who like... supplied her with magic? It was patron.

The important thing was-- Wait, did Chibiusa just *shush* her? Did she just get SHUSHED?

Wait, no, focus. Focus on the threat. Punch the threat, the pretty cure way.

"Wait, you weren't expecting that?" she asked Chibiusa. "Then what were you... actually, nevermind, that'll come up later."

No it wouldn't (probably).

She dipped back around the corner, one henshin sequence later, "Let's make up! Bling!" Skip the rest--

She then snapped her fingers three times, each time creating a small spurt of flames, before a definitely wicked grin formed on her lips. "Righteous Indignation! Cure La Licorne!"

The pretty cure of flaming unicorn violence landed on the the street a few feet from them. "HEY! Hands off the Queen candidate if you know what's good for you! Ah, who am I kidding, you people *never* do. I'd still recommend it, though, unless you want a few new bruises on top of bruises."

Amanda Faust has posed:
    Amy doesn't so much notice in the moment, as afterward she'll realize there was no problem... she'll be more relaxed around the gang in the future.

    They know to run from strange happenings. Amy nods, grinning. "They know their Boss will handle it, huh?"

    Amy can't help smiling at the Pretty Cure sales pitch, though she feels a bit awkward for Laura... well it's not her place to tell her Adora is She-Ra.

    And then Mimi is here. Amy points behind her. "Hey, look! Another magical girl!" If Mimi turns, she henshins on the spot; otherwise she runs behind something -- possibly She-Ra -- and henshins and leaps back out.

    "Mimi! Whatever it is you want-- Oh right, draining energy. It's not happening!"

    Backup is here. SO much backup. Where did Chibiusa and Yukihime and Cure La Licorne come from?! God moments like this have got to be frustrating for a dark general, but Amy's glad. She smiles and waves to Yukihime!

    And the justice speeches spur her into joining in: "As the Puella Magi of the freedom to live as your true self, I'm all for helping you find a way to keep that form if you want to live in peace with us!" She announces, cloak billowing.

    Amy points at the fishgirl. "But if you insist on stealing people's magic..."

    Amy looks around. "Come on, there's six of us here and you don't have Sheshe with you. If you run to the sea, we can't chase you. Save your strength for a fight you think you can win."

Laura La Mer has posed:
Laura is about to reply something nasty to Mimi when she notices the flash of light from Adora's transformation, and so does the demon. "Wait, you are a magical girl too?", both girls say at the same time, and both turns towards each other. "Hey, I say that first! And stop copying me!", they both continue.

"If you want me around, book an appointment!", La Mer exclaims, looking at Mimi and lashing out with a kick at the weird Shadow thing. This changes things a lot, Cure La Mer thinks, going by instinct as Mimi dodges and sending a punch at her now. If only she could have gotten She-Ra first. She really looked tough, and then she could have presented her to Hinoiri! Yes, that would have been great.

She scowls when Mimi dodges yet again, and decides to look at She-Ra when the water demon leaps away by a few meter. "A missed opportunity, but at least you could join my team inform..." she starts saying, only to stare at the Eternian with her mouth agape. Or rather, at her stomach. "They... You sure got tall, uh", she comments, turning up her gaze all the way to She-Ra's face. "Is that a Princess of Power thing?"

The arrival of Chibimoon and La Licorne gets her to shout their names with joy. "Great seeing you here! Ready to face this shadow demon with me?", she asks the two of them exuberantly. Though, they are already 4 to 1. Less face and more absolutely destroy, she is sure of it.

She grins widely as Cure La Licorne announces her title. Of course, she doesn't mind someone else doing it for her. Hinoiri knows how to get in her good graces. She doesn't even care when Mimi rebukes the unicorn. "I am not gonna stop here, no. Let's get to the fight already!" If anything, she agreed that anything else was pointless.

"You wanna do the unison thing again?", La Mer taunts her with Yukihime and Puella Red too join the fight. Scratch four to one, this is a great day after all. She waves at the two of them, and points at Mimi as Amy holds her speech. "Yes! She is absolutely right. Now stop, or run, before things get too bad for you!"

"Six of you?", Mimi repeats uncaringly. A smile that goes from extreme to extreme of her shadowy face is given to the group. It's almost like the smile is splitting her face in half by the aura of confidence she gives off. "That doesn't matter, I am getting this portal, and both of you!", Mimi says, and she snaps her fingers.

"Your turn, Chroico!" Mimi calls and the seagull that has been ignored up to now glows blue again. This time starts growing and growing, until it has become a tall bird person covered from head to toe with grey feathers that stops short of its clawed hands and talons. "Did you really think I couldn't predict all of you swarming me?"

The laugh of the bird monster accompanies the affirmation. "I will go first", it exclaims, and it points its finger at Puella Red. A lightning blast shines and starts zapping at Puella Red, taking the form of chains aiming to wrap around her neck. It then rips off two of its feather, that immediately turn into twin swords. It immediately leaps at La Licorne, blades moving to slice at her arms.

Mimi glows red instead, and clarinets appear again in the air, flying precisely at Chibimoon and Yukihime, acting like quick blunt arrows. At the same time, giant cimbals appear on each side of She-Ra instead, rapidly closing in and trying to squish her between them.

Adora Rainbowfist has posed:
"Wait, their boss? Nah I'm not their boss. I just hang out with them." She-ra comments back towards Amy. "They just know I'll be fine, really." She-ra shrugs slightly, and then... she's... used as a place to hide and henshin behind. Well, that's... reasonable she supposes. Better than some other options for a quick mobile transformation spot.

Other people seem to know what's going on and are moving in to help as well. And Laura... Laura... appears to still be trying to recruit her in some way.

"Uh, yeah I'm a magical girl too, yeah." Also Mimi and La Mer were starting to fight, kicks and punches and... hm. Well, shadow-creatures generally don't like light much, right? "I'm fine with working with you, and no I think this is mostly a She-Ra thing. Anyway!" She lifts the Sword of Power towards Mimi, as rainbow colored energy begins to glow along the edge of it. Right as giant cymbals appear beside her and crash in towards her. There might, briefly, be a She-ra shaped impression in the cymbals. Luckily, She-ra is durable, as after those cymbals crash, she's shoving them apart quickly with her hands before swinging her blade towards Mimi to unleash a wave of rainbow energy in Mimi's direction. "Glimmer Wave!" She calls out as the attack is launched, beginning to move forward into a more melee range towards Mimi with quick steps.

Chibiusa Tsukino has posed:
    Chibimoon smiles at Cure La Mer as her name is called out, but the time for pleasantries is rapidly cut short. She watches the fist fight between Mimi and Laura and thinks for a moment that this is a form of 'shadow boxing' she hadn't thought of before. She finds herself punching the air with tiny fists and saying, "Yeah! Get 'er!"

    As the scene unfolds, Small Lady witnesses the bird turn into a youma and her lips make a flat frown. She should have predicted that, since it was already acting weird.

    "We're not letting you anywhere near that portal!" she shouts, grabbing Luna-P in her hands and tossing her into the air. The catball turns into her Pink Stick, which she grabs out of the air and holds out in front of her. "Pink SugaaaaaHHHH!

    Her attack callout is interrupted as a volley clarinets are sent through the air at her like arrows, and she has to immediately turn and run so as to not get hit. She runs back behind the corner she just emerged from as the musical instruments of mahou destruction sail past where she was and impact something behind her. Poking her head back out, she shouts, "Those are nice instruments. Don't just throw them around!" Then, holding up her Moon Rod again, she declares, "Pink Sugar Heart Attack!"

    A stream of purifying heart-shaped outlines launches from the end of her stick and flies towards Mimi as Small Lady keeps her eye on the evil anglerfish woman.

Amanda Faust has posed:
> You sure got tall! Is that a princess of power thing?
    Amy imagines a giant Catra trying to fit on a motorcycle.

> Six of you?
    Amy grimaces at that tone of voice. Great. "The phrase you're looking for is 'target-rich environment'..."

> I will go first.
    "Go ahead--" Amy starts to drop into a fighting stance, and then faster than she can see, lightning has become a chain around her neck. "Hey!" She grabs near her neck with one hand, trying to find a way to loosen the chain.

    "Gh... I don't... need to breathe to fight you..." Her other hand points at the gull-youma, and a rocket conjures next to her and launches past the gull to blow something else up.

    Whoops, but Amy's already firing another, which is at least aimed properly, and another that zooms past to add to the collateral damage. The chain and wondering about the magical specifics of keeping herself conscious and keeping her neck from being crushed are distracting her!

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime blinks a bit as she's attacked with musical instruments. There's just a small problem that Yukihime finds out after a few seconds later. She didn't call out any wolves yet! EEEEEP! She's not a great dodger as is found out when she gets pelted by the clarinets. She tries to dance away a bit, but ends up walking in front of the first one by accident, which hits her shoulder, then the second hits her stomach, and the third sends her in a flip before she lands on the ground face first. "....ow....", she mutters.

    Yukihime gets up. She shakes her left wrist, and two beads come off. They turn into wolves as the girl shakes her head. "Off to a wonderful start...I forgot my earbuds, and I didn't get my wolves out...", she mutters. The girl takes a deep breath as she moves back.

    Yukihime takes a moment to freeze the air in the bow. Soon a bolt of ice forms. Yukihime smiles a little bit at Mimi a little bit before a blue fog comes out of her mouth. She breathes out on the arrow. "Blizzard...of...Arrows!", she breathes out. She fires the arrow.

    As the arrow takes flight, it shatters, and reforms as a bunch of needles fired at Mimi. After a few seconds, Yukihime blinks a little bit as she looks over at Amy. "Hey! Amy, you need help?", she calls out.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Cure La Licorne sighed and shook her head at the bird youma. "Really? Bird youma? You guys really haven't--" Then she stopped. "Wait. Mimi?" she asked. For the first time, Cure La Licorne seemed to take a good look at who the dark general of the day was...

And realized exactly *who* it was. "What in the world are you doing? I thought you were out of the--"

And that was NOT the time to be not paying attention. AS SWORD BIRD!

The momentary distraction nearly cost her dearly. As the blades came at her hands, her hands moved out to catch them... and rather than being cut by them... She *caught* the blades in her hands. Sorta. Precure gloves were great, very durable. She was driven down to her knees and sent skidding back, as the blades dug small, red lines into her palms...

But didn't go in as deep as they could have gone. She was left panting, eyes wide at just how close that had come to being disastrous. "R-right, focus now. Sorry, Mimi, nothing personal but-- ACTUALLY! VERY PERSONAL!" Fire erupted from her hands, but she did NOT let the swords go, starting to heat them up as her righteous indignation started to go into overdrive. "I know what you people do with mermaids and no way in tartarus you're putting her in a fishbowl!"

Laura La Mer has posed:
Watching the She-Ra impression in the giant cimbals and most importantly the way she shoves them aside makes the small blue hearts in Laura's now pink eyes light up and sparkle. "Yeah, that's what I was expecting. Good job, She-Ra. Let me help you!", the Pretty Cure declares, lifting her pen and compact.

Stirring the disk at the center of her Compact, a rotating watersprout appears and starts going into the Mermaid Aqua Pact, recurve spinning lines that sparkle just as much as La Mer's eyes.

"Pretty Cure Swirling La Mer Stream!", she shouts, and a huge rotating beam of water erupting out of the Pact as she points the pen at Mimi, proceeding side by side with the rainbow beam.

The two forces approach the water demon rapidly, and it is only at the last second that she extends her palm forward, creating a red Live Stage that is keeping out swirling water and slashing rainbow. What follows is a struggle on both sides that slowly forms crack in the red sphere, and red light flashes everywhere when it finally breaks.

The residual forces strike against Mimi's shadow form, flinging her back by several meters and leaving large grey spots over her arms.

It doesn't seem to be enough for her as the Pink Sugar Heart Attack directly follows in their wake. "I got no time for this!", and shadows tendrils extend to the roof of the warehouse, breaking off a chunk of it that is directly placed in between Chibimoon's purification and Mimi. The roof will break and then she can use the tendrils to...

The rapid-fire sequence of hearts break the roof as predicted, but they don't stop there and break the tendrils too, completely ruining Mimi's plans. "That doesn't matter, I got more where that came from!", she plays it off, though a sorta frown is plenty visible on her shadow face.

Chroico's talons draw lines into the ground as it takes the brunt of Amy's missile head on, covering its upper body with both arms and swords. The blast is stopped by the swords, but the residual heat gets past the improvised defense, burning a few of its feathers.

"Good, let's see what you got then!", it remarks, yanking on the chain and trying to throw the red Puella at a nearby wall. The immediate follow up clash between its swords and La Licorne's flame, grimacing at the swords keep growing hotter and hotter and the ex-metal starts leaving red impressions of the sword's hilt onto its hands, only barely managing to avoid dropping them.

Its claws go blue, and it starts running at Hinoiri, but Yukihime's attack causes a last second change of plans, causing a rush in front of Mimi and slashing arrows of ice after arrows of ice out of the air with the twin swords. It takes deep and heavy breaths, grinning cockily at the yuki-onna. "Fun, but not enough!", it provokes her.

"And now, just hand over the portal!", Mimi continues for it, slamming her hand on the ground. Trombones appear and the ensuing cacophony chases after Chibimoon and La Licorne with circular blasts of sound. At the same time, tendrils grow again, aiming not at any of the other magical girls, but at the glimmering portal.

People looking up to Adora is one of her weaknesses. She does, in fact, enjoy being a heroine even if sometimes she doesn't want to admit it. And having someone's eyes light up and sparkle while looking at her? Yeah that's pretty great. Not that She-ra actually shows it. Though she might shift to have a slightly straighter back suddenly as she flashes a confident grin towards Mimi.

"You'd best make time for it!" She says cheerfully, darting towards the now-falling roof to catch a large chunk of it. Which begins to glow faintly with the same rainbow energy as she holds it over her head. "Oh no you don't, you can't have that portal!" She-ra calls out, becoming a lot more vocal now that she apparently has noticed someone who is Looking at her.

And then? Then she chucks a piece of roof at Mimi's tendrils that were grabbing for the portal, enhanced with the glowing aura of She-Ra's rainbow energy.

And after that chucked piece of roof, She-Ra follows close afterwards, her Sword of Power shifting shape to become a Tower Shield of Power, which she holds up between Mimi and the portal itself, slamming the bottom of it into the ground between them and causing faint cracks to appear in the ground.

    "Oh yeah well so do we!" shouts back Chibimoon. She's not gonna let that meanie have her way, and all of her friends have the same mind here. They haven't quite gotten past Mimi's defenses, but Small Lady wasn't expecting to just yet.

    Chaos ensues all around them as both shadowy dark general and youma attack the group. She hopes that the others have the youma covered, because Mimi is going for the objective and right now She-Ra is standing in the way.

    Small Lady might be a heroine of justice, but that doesn't prevent her from attacking from a place of advantage. Maybe if Mimi is focusing on She-Ra...

    Oh no. Mimi is not in fact focusing on She-Ra and now there are trombones making awful noises at her. Chibimoon covers her ears and grits her teeth. The wave of sound knocks her down, and she rolls down the street before impacting a trash can. As it crumples over it manages to shield her at least a little bit. Long enough for her to sit up straight and recover from the hit. Ow ow ow ow.

    As Chibimoon picks herself up, she studies Mimi a bit, then super jumps up to the nearest building, then sneakily hops to the next one, then creeps up to the edge where she spots Mimi's tendrils heading for the portal. While her friends are also fighting, Chibimoon leaps down from the rooftop with her leg extended, aiming directly for Mimi.

    "Chibimoon KICK!"

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime twitches. Not enough? The air around Yukihime drops drastically as she gets annoyed. Ok, so she doesn't hurt in a few hits. That doesn't mean she's exactly the weakest. The girl shakes her left wrist, and calls out 4 more beads. Snow gathers around them, turning into wolves. There's a small flash as the bow turns into her naginata. The wolves silently glare at the bird man.

    The snow princess starts to slowly dance with her naginata, moving carefully. The wolves seem to follow the movements of the naginata. Its a graceful dance as she spins the weapon in her hands. Yukihime looks up a bit. "You will release my girlfriend from your chain.", she hisses out. "And for taunting me?", Yukihime says. She points her naginata at the bird man.

    "Wolves of the Capital, attack.", she says softly. She goes into a graceful combination of dance and attack movements with her naginata. The wolves follow the movements as they turn into wolf headed beams that seek to overwhelm the bird man in a combination attack. She sends five of the wolves in the attack, making 5 slashes with her naginata. Of course, she's using quite a bit more magic then she probably should for the attack...

Cure La Licorne shuddered, the raging inferno of her hands not enough to stop the the bird youma, unfortunately she was finding her grip was not quite as effective as she would like, a little drop of blood going down her palm.

On the upside, it seemed Mimi was after the portal and not after La Mer, which--

Actually, no. STILL not a good thing.

"Okay, you can't have that, either! Portals are off limits! Last thing we need are you taking--"

Unfortunately, her back talk never gets to finish as the circular blasts hit her, sending her toppling back and-- Wait. This feels *vaguelly* familiar. Something about this. The stages, the... She really must have been trying to juggling too much between the fade and everything else she was trying to balance, if she failed to realize that--

"Okay, that's it! HEY! BIRD BRAIN! You know what the smell of burning feathers is like? You're ABOUT TO!" she snapped.

"Ambitous blazer!"

Her body erupted into flames and she then kicked out twice, launching twin, purifying fireballs at the bird. "Parry THESE!" she yelled at it. "MIMI! What in the world are you doing?! I thought you and Sheshe were done working with Gaito and doing the mermaid kidnapping business?"

    "..." Amy gestures vaguely with the hand not pulling at the chain.

    Beat.

    << Oh right, I have telepathy! Uh, water freezing into ice can break metal right? Can your ice break the chain? >>

    And then Amy is YANKED. By the neck. And flung at a wall! Fortunately, she's started thinking about what she can still do despite the chain, and flame washes over her and leaves her with her flight armor, thrusters adjusting her position a bit so she doesn't hit headfirst, and with a helmet on her head just in case.

    She hits the wall awkwardly all the same, and can't even grunt in pain.

    Besides the wall, also hitting her is the present irony of having named this 'un-chain!' form when she first figured it out.

    Amy stands, and kicks off the wall, thrusters in her outfit flying her at the bird after La Licorne launches her attack. She aims her arms forward, tanks appearing strapped to them and nozzles spraying... nothing?

    She lands and stumbles in front of him, awkwardly, and then aims her hands at him again, pink sparkles changing the assemblies to have two tanks each before they start spraying fire at the bird point-blank, adding to Licorne's fireballs!

    "...!"

    Oh right, she still can't talk. Some sort of magic item like a necklace that prevents silence sure would be helpful right now... But even if she can't call out a finisher, she can still make things unpleasantly hot!

    << Hot enough for ya!? >> Well, at least with telepathy she can still banter!

    For Licorne's benefit she adds to her, ansi(#d70000,<<)] They're not here to kidnap people, they're here for magic energy! Uh, in retrospect, I guess we really should've asked you what the most appealing targets to take power from are, huh... >>

Laura La Mer has posed:
Mimi's eyebrow twitches at the manifestation of the Tower Shield of Power. She really is not getting to that portal, is she? Too many of them here today, too many focused on defending it. There must be something else she can do... Or that they can't do.

She looks at La Mer. She doubts she is going to leave with the mermaid either, but maybe she can just get a quick taste of any of the magic items she has on her? She can see as many as three rings on her hands, excluding the one the mermaid used to transform. Really, what a waste.

<<Listen well>>, the water demon starts sharing with her ally, but she spent so long formulating a plan, that she doesn't see Chibimoon's kick coming, and the yelled attack gets her square in the chest, sending her to form a crater in the ground.

"Ughhh", she groans, getting up with a hand to her stomach, though it's kinda hard to see, as shadow right over shadow. << That girl wants to have her girlfriend. Do as she says. And keep going after the portal. I will try too, but that's not going to be my focus. The real plan is to get that Cure La Mer offguard.>>

"Oh, yeah, I know. You got Gaito really good. I hear he is still brooding. He got what he deserved for striking us down out of nowhere", she yells to Cure La Licorne, wondering in the back of her mind why that magical girl is acting so chummy with her.

Of course they tried betraying him first, but she is not going to bring that up. "We are on our own now. And we will make it big even where he failed. We are just being true to ourselves." She gives a nod at the red Puella Magi. Too bad it's not what her offer would be about.

Chroico rips off a few more of its feathers at the approach of Yukihime's 'wolves of the capital' attack, and for a moment it falters, now feeling the strain of the burnt feathers even more. Still, the extracted plumage merges with its twin swords, which vastly increase in size.

The two blades start clashing with the naginata infused with the wolves, and there is repeated sounds of cracks with each strike. Despite his best efforts two get past his guards, and nasty cuts travel down its arms, revealing green-dark energy beneath the skin.

"Have your girlfriend then. Why should I hold back love?", the youma sneers, and yanks on the chain, throwing her away from it and right towards Yukihime, letting the bond dissipate as she is flung.

But this leaves it completely open, and with the wounds sustained by the wolves of the capital, the Ambitious Blazer strikes right through him, tearing the dark energy Mimi had used on it right out of the youma. What is left? Just a confused seagull, staring around at the chaos before flying away.

Mimi hisses. Well, damn it. She is not going to be able to take care of the plan now. What is she going to tell Sheshe? "Keep the portal, but don't rest on your laurels", she says, glaring at Sailor Chibimoon before teleporting away. She will make her pay for that kick.

"Was that it?", Laura muses, lips downturned. "Well, that's it, good job everyone! I am proud of you, it's our victory!", she exclaims lifting her hand in a V sign.

Alright, the portal is protected, and everyone is... doing pretty okay it seems like. Decently supported and such at least! She-Ra is mostly staying in place, watching the battle as it continues with occasional shifts to make sure that shield is between Mimi, the Seagull, and the portal each time... but it seems like her overabundance of caution is, in the end...

Not necessary. At least not anymore. As the seagull is taken down, and then Mimi teleports away. Alright then.

She-Ra stays in position a while yet, looking around to see if the demon is going to teleport back in or not... but... it seems... fine? Maybe? Probably? Hmmmm. "Feels like I didn't actually do that much." She-Ra mutters to herself, looking towards the damaged area.

Well, whatever. It was a pretty quick series of exchanges anyway, and she's not going to complain about only being smashed by cymbals briefly. ...As unpleasant as that was. Once she's /completely/ sure that Mimi isn't teleporting back, she finally turns the tower shield back into a sword of power, and begins to walk over towards the others. "Well, that was interesting. Everyone okay? Anyone need help getting back home?"

Cure La Licorne glanced to Amy and... then shrugged. "Huh. Sorry. I've been... well. I've been spinning a *lot* of plates. Some things have slipped through the cracks. Fade and everything else! I can't tell who'd be their best targets, though. La Mer being one, though, makes sense! Surprised they haven't gone after a few others, though! Ugh..."

It was always awkward when you ran into old coworkers...

"Mimi, I appreciate you getting out from under Gaito's... flippers, but attacking others isn't the way to go. Whatever you two are up to? You've got to stop it, before you get hurt. And trust me, you'e *going* to get hurt." As the bird youma demonstrated, going up in flames.

"Listen, I'm not--" Aaaaand she was gone. La Licorne sighed, a hand pausing in mid-outreach before slowly falling back down to her side. She lowered her eyes and then shook her head. "She used to be such a nice little evil girl, too," she said with a sigh. She didn't make the V, though, looking a little torn. Then giving a weak little smile to La Mer. "Err, sorry. Uhhhh... she was kind of an old... co-worker... work friend... colleague? Sort of? She gave me a song and helped me with a lot of work. Just... yeah." She looked down at her hands. The sword had cut through, but luckily it wasn't too deep, she'd just need some bandages and she healed fast.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime blinks a few times. Wait! Not that way! The snow mahou drops her naginata, and squeaks as she tries to brace for impact! She didn't expect Amy to be used as a improvised weapon.

    The mahou catches Amy, and goes sliding back a good distance. Her direction? Right towards She-Ra. Yukihime blinks. "...This is going to hurt...", she mutters before crashing into She-Ra. There's a squeak sound effect as Yukihime makes a half flail. She gets sandwiched between the two. And Yukihime is very very cold. Almost frozen cold. Then the henshin drops, and Miho is kinda swirly eyed as she falls to the ground. Yeah, she's gonna need help getting back to school.

Chibiusa Tsukino has posed:
    There's a small amount of satisfaction and validation that Chibimoon gets from landing a solid hit on the enemy. Not that she particularly craves violence, but after spending so much time feeling small and afraid it's nice to be one of the strong ones now. The ones who can rightfully call themselves Guardians.

    "Out of nowhere?" questions Chibimoon. "I bet you actually did something really mean and are just trying to deflect responsibility," she accuses with a pointing finger. As she's trying to argue over Mimi, the seagull youma turns back into a normal seagull, and the poor bird is not the only one confused here. So much so, that she doesn't really come up with a retort for Mimi's threat. "Yeah... well... maybe I'll rest on--" And then Mimi has vanished, and Sailor Chibimoon is left there with her mouth agape.

    The moment for a quick retort has passed.

    "Yell well you better run!" she says to someone who is already long gone.

    Her henshin weapon turns back into Luna-P, and she holds the catball while looking around at the others. "Is everyone okay?" She looks to Yukihime and says, "You look like you had it rough."

    Despite the choking and all, Amy feels a bit of a warm happy feeling at that!

    And then she's flying through the air again before she realizes it! She turns off the flamethrowers and clumsily reaches for the chain, but it disappears just before her hands would make contact! "...!" She's out of air to grunt with when she hits. After slamming into Yukihime she drops back to her base henshin sans the chestplate, so that getting squished between Amy and She-Ra is a bit less painful. She wonders if she could conjure a big cute pillow or plush toy or something to soften the impact, but they're already hitting Adora before she can try it.

    GAAAASP! Amy finally remembers she can breathe now and inhales, and takes a couple of breaths before her breathing becomes more natural as automatic breathing reasserts itself.

    Amy turns to look at the girls who caught her. "Thanks Yukihime, She-r--Yukihime? Miho-chan!" Concerned, Amy helps her up, and brings her somewhere to sit down and rest until she's feeling better.

Luckily, having slid into She-ra, it's not QUITE like hitting a brick wall. She-Ra was at least paying attention, so her stance shifted, her leg moving backwards as she curled to wrap her arms around Yukihime(And Amy) to catch them both. When Yukihime loses her transformation and falls unconscious, she's immediately shifting further to support her. After double checking that Amy is okay, she would more fully wrap her arms around Miho as she transforms back to Adora, supporting her until she can get her into a situation where she's gently holding her. "Oh. Uh. Right. To nurse Meiou's, then..."

Miho gets a princess carry from Adora at least! Living up to her Yukihime name for a moment! "Don't worry, I'll get her... I don't think she's conscious right now, Amy." She says carefully, giving Amy a reassuring smile. And then?

...Well, no better time than now to start carrying the girl towards somewhere to get properly looked at.

Laura La Mer has posed:
"That's what I was doing before this mess", La Mer explains to She-Ra, pointing out to the portal she sprayed still sitting there brightly without a care in the world. Well, at least it's good Mimi didn't get to make use of it. Things were already bad in Grand Ocean with just the Witch of Delays' attack. Nobody needed another one right now.

"An old colleague? I see", the Pretty Cure murmurs pensively to Hinoiri. "Well, if I catch her around I will let you know, and hopefully we them to calm down so you can have a normal reunion, as old friends", she considers. Would that happen? Who knows.

"I am good, Chibimoon. In great shape, rather. I just hope everyone gets better, but I have no doubt about that, with Mimi gone." She lets her henshin fade and pets Kururun.

"Well, then, I was about to go, so, any who want to come with, feel free, otherwise, catch you around!", Laura says, walking through the portal, closing it with the Aqua Pot after she is sure nobody is following.
