(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: How are you holding up under the onslaught of life?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: or should i say adventure. that's probably better.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Probably better than you. How are YOU doing?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: not bad actually! school starting back up is good for getting my head on straight.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: i'm worried about usagi not getting enough sleep though

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Me too. She doens't think she wakes me up.. and she probably doesn't always (which is worse), but for someone who can usually sleep forever.. she's not.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: I keep thinking I must be able to do *something*, I mean, I'm psychic, right? I should be able to do something for nightmares. But I don't know what!

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I don't think that's how it works. Either they're supernatural, and we need to figure out what the hell is sending them (I assume there's dream magic? It feels like we have every other kind of magic, there has to be dream magic.. but I don't know anyone who works in dreams).. or they're trauma and that's a lot of hugs and support?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: You're probably right. And they *could* be trauma, it's not like we're all strangers to it.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: But it doesn't sit right that someone could just send nightmares like that. I mean yes, we'd need to fight and stop whoever's doing it, but there should be some kind of way to guard against it happening again.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I.. can dreams be dark energy?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Yeah! ... I don't know. They could be? Wouldn't you be able to tell, though?

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I love Usagi to pieces, but she can't distinguish dark energy from a poodle half the time.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: I mean, wouldn't *you* be able to tell if there were dark energy in your room?

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I'm usually asleep! And i'm not always very good at noticing, its pretty subtle. But now I can pay attentino.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Should set up some kind of dark energy detector alarm. Not that I know how to do that.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Nooo.. but I bet Kazuo and I could come up with /something/. Although probably easier for me to just pay attention when she wakes up. If I can notice. I'm still not /totally/ sure I can tell.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: i'd offer to supply some for research purposes but

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Not anymore! I can probably find some somewhere.. Riventon.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Oh yeah! But I mean. Do you want me to ask or do you have it?

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Which one is less awkward? ;) I can text him. Is it weird that I'm wary about letting him know how much I can do? Especially when I don't wholly know myself?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: It's not weird, I mean, one of my excuses for running stupid youmas was 'see what the mahoujin do to combat this and remember it for later'. it's all information that could be used against you.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Even more especially because it might well be that I can't actually /do/ anything? I might not be able to notice. I think I can? A little? But I might have been actually reacting to Kazuo noticing.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Okay. I mean.. if I wake up cause Usagi has another nightmare tonight, I'll /see/ if I notice anything.. but me not noticing doesn't mean there's nothing.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: It's not ALL of why. I get it.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: So you're pyschic.. can you like.. get in her head while she's asleep? (That seems weird to even type, for the record)

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: no, i mean, i picked up on her nightmares when i was crashed at meiou-sensei's house with her after fighting riventon and not-firefly, and we talked about them a little, but i also wasn't looking for dark energy

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Okay. Good. I mean.. bad for /right now/, but good cause the other sounds epic creepy.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: it's just. it's touch empathy and psychometry, mostly? i did some research when i was a lot younger. so i pick up feelings, and sometimes images but not always, and the images are generally from the past, and there are reasons i don't often touch people other than a select few

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: That's legit. The not touching very many people. That would be a /lot/.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: yeah. i filter as best as i can!

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I will try not to feel too much in your direction. (I know that isn't how it works)

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: lol, you're fine. i don't like sudden untelegraphed touch, but you don't do that anyway.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: One of the many ways I figured out I was into Adrien. I dont usually touch people, and yet I found myself close to him often without realizing it.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Yeah! Which was also funny to watch, btw. Sorry for calling you out like that

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: More than just you called us out and that kinda made me go oh? Oooooh.. and then I think he said it was a conversation with you that prompted him to ambush Kazuo and I on a run and ask me out.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: People don't pay the same attention to us.. okay they /do/, but it's different. Magical folks pay attention to you guys. Mundanes pay attention to us. To my knowledge.. there's not an internet fan club devoted to either of your partners.
