Aki Kurosawa is a young retail worker that helps out in her family's business- a coffee shop called 'Gullwing Coffee'. Her parents are absentee, always on their business trips. This led her to mostly help raise her baby sister, Haruna Kurosawa. Things we're decent enough until some Phantom Empire general attacked her coffee shop, and the two we're offered the chance to become Pretty Cure! Taking her magical duties seriously, her and her opposite personality sister helped fight the Phantom Empire and other threats as the 'Ocean Spray! Pretty Cure'. This changed the day Haruna Kurosawa went missing! Now Aki is desperately searching for her sister while trying her best to juggle school and her magical life.
