Writing Class (Hinata Muramasa)
Date of Cutscene: 17 July 2024
Location: Radiant Heart Academy - Classroom
Synopsis: Hinata, lacking a drive to pursue mahou business, and being a studious girl, has taken to helping less studious classmates with their homework.
Cast of Characters: Hinata Muramasa

"A common writing technique when you want a dramatic crescendo in a story, but still wish to use the character later, is to not actually show a death. Imply it. Like so." Hinata quickly jots a short paragraph on the whiteboard.

<The Hero stood, face scarred, a wound showing through his armour, but standing strong still. "GO!" he cries to the rest of his allies. "I'm right behind you!" but he was not. Sword held high, he summoned one last flash of power, and shattered the bridge, so the hoard could not follow once they got past him.

The party fled, thinking their friend was right there with them. They never saw what happened.>

"It can pay off well, but don't over-use it in your writing. The audience will get wise to the trick pretty quickly." The girl's voice is as monotone and emotionless as always, but a moment of pain washes across her expression.

"Muramasa-san... are you okay?" asks one of her classmates. "Fine. I'm... I'm fine." she reassures, clutching her sword talisman through her blouse, and looking out the window, in the vague direction Paris would be in.
