At first glance, Kano Watanabe appears to be a serious, quiet, and studious young man. For any school staff who have seen his record, and a great many delinquents, they know otherwise. Kano is impulsive, short-tempered, and violent. The fact he also has amazing grades somehow despite that is even more puzzling. He has been friends with Natsu Oukanno since middle-school, and probably understands him better than anyone. While he's not a villain otaku, he has, until recently, preferred to play the 'evil' side in games, RPGs, and theater. However, after witnessing one of his other best friends, Jin Kishimura, suffer a major health incident that dark powers could do nothing to help with, he has had a change of heart. He has abandoned the Oculus Obscura he was given, choosing being able to make the right choices over having the power to choose whatever he wants.
