Synopsis:	After Dianora was shot, Hinoiri and Double Trouble spend the evening together, enjoying some cuddling and comfort after a rather... brutal engagement. They liiiiiiike each other.

It had been a bit of a trip back home on Hinoiri's bike. Hinoiri had been... quiet. She'd been reserved. She'd been also hugging Dianora a lot and, while the rest of the recital had been cancelled due to all of the damage, it had for the most part been a success.

Okay, not really.

However, as they walked into the dorm room, Hinoiri had glanced over to her girlfriend and gave a small smile. "How... uhhhh... how are you feeling? I know it can be a bit shocking, having... that happen. Want some chocolate? I think it helps a bit... maybe..." she mumbled, not meeting Dianora's eyes.

Double Trouble has posed:
Dianora Lagorio had remained silent all the way home, too. She was still reviewing everything she'd seen when she came to. She was in Hinoiri's arms, and Hinoiri had had her geode on. But the girl was covered in burns, and the auditorium was absolutely wrecked. Whomever shot them with that rifle had clearly contended with someone rather powerful. But there was only one person that had been in the recital hall that could have caused that kind of destruction to both the auditorium and Hinoiri's face: Hinoiri.

So, when they walked through the door, Dianora skipped across and leapt onto her bed in a big floomf, folding arms across her chest and pouting. "I'm feeling disappointed that I missed your moment, Onee-chan. Your willpower crumbled and you succumbed to the sweet whispers of dark energy and I WAS UNCONSCIOUS'!!"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara just gave a groooooooan. Yup. She knew she'd figure it out. "Yeah... yeah, I did. I knew you'd realize it before long. So, I did, in fact, go Sunbreaker again," she said, reaching up a hand to rub her head.

"... I saw you go down and I just... couldn't... stop myself. I came... really close to going Sunset of Sora, though. Cure Sharpsong purified me in time, but a few more rounds and I'd have gone over entirely. Even then..." She reached up to clasp her geode.

"... I just... can't... lose you... okay? I've already lost almost everything else. I can't lose you, too. I need you... go ahead. Gloat as much as you need to."

Double Trouble has posed:
Double Trouble's arms slowly uncross as she listens to Hinoiri's words until they're just resting in her lap, and her green eyes are big like saucers as she looks at Hinoiri. "Onee-chan," she says, barely above a whisper--and yet somehow managing emphasis--before she leaps off the bed, lifting the necklace off her neck and just casting it aside as the momentum carries the shifting form of Double Trouble toward Hinoiri.

At the same moment the tourmaline pendant hits the floor, their arms and tail wrap around Hinoiri and squeeze her too tightly. Maybe just a little tightly. "Just try and lose me, darling," they say. "You can't. You're stuck with me forever."

Hinoiri Kirara flushed and didn't resist the hug. She let herself relax in the arms of her partner, resting her head on their shoulder. Her arms slowly reached out, hugging the reptile. "Good... you're the least I deserve after all I've done," Hinoiri said in a teasing, playful tone.

She gave them a little squeeze, closing her eyes. "I was... so angry... and a little scared. Seeing you on the ground like that... it was one of those stupid 'witches five' that used to work with Riventon. The plant one. I wanted to kill her. I almost did. I don't think I've hated... anyone that much in so, so long."

"... Sorry, but you uhhhh... you've definitely been outted."

Double Trouble has posed:
The chameleon's hands rise up behind Hinoiri, their fingertips turning back around to give her a rather intimate scalp massage, with her head held right there where Double Trouble could look into her eyes and steal a kiss. "The dark energy always makes you so tense, darling," they murmur. "You are so much more relaxed when you focus on love and friendship."

They steal that kiss and then they spin away, doing a pirouette with their tail arcing along a circle behind them. They bow deeply and then bounce up smiling. "Of course. Plenty of sparkles were there to perform. Music club is popular. Your girl Sayaka did pretty good on her performance."

Quick as a lizard they're up on their bed, lounging. "It was a good run, though, wasn't it? Months and months. It's not like Dianora's going anywhere. I can't go around like this, and we're doing a play in Drama Club." They shake their head and sigh. "I'm just mad I didn't even get to the best part of the song."

Hinoiri Kirara gave a shrug. "Yeah, almost destroying the world will do that to a girl. I don't try to be tense, just kind of happens."

She liked the kiss, though, and leaned into it. It was nice, having her theyfriend feel so... different. Not human. It always brought her comfort, in a strange way. Which was amusing, in a way. They had more in common with humans than most of the things from home. But they were just enough she could feel the magic.

"She's been practicing, you know how it is." She walked over and... noteably... sat next to Double Trouble. Very close. A hand moving onto their leg. "Welcome to the club of outed magical girls, then. I'm still curious if anyone is going to question me living with a known dark energy user. Heh."

She leaned a head on their shoulder and closed her eyes. "If you'd like... you could play it for me later... this school does keep the music room open far, far too late..." she murmured.

Double Trouble has posed:
Double Trouble lifted their arm so that Hinoiri could nestle in next to them, their hand resting on her far shoulder and squeezing her close. They brushed a few strands of her hair back over her ear as they looked down into her eyes before they shut. "Yes. I wanted you to hear the whole thing. It's such a dramatic piece. I picked it just for you."

They take a deep breath. "I revealed myself to Scorpia already. Poor girl has not been able to connect with many folks since she landed here. I was the first familiar face she'd seen in ages." They giggle. "Tricked her into revealing herself with a duet, and once I knew it was her? I couldn't let her be so sad."

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave a light snort. "Ohhh, you are such a softy. All these sparkles are rubbing off on you. What's next, are you going to take one of them under you wing and teach them how to fight?" Hinoiri asked in a teasing tone.

She looked up at them, the happy, gentle smile on her lips. "Did... Is... is this how you felt, when you saw me get hurt? When I... heh... even unconscious, you were so dramatic. I think it's engrained in you... but... I... really didn't like it. I never want to see you hurt ever again... it hurt... a lot."

"... If that... if we hadn't saved you... I don't... know what I would have done. But I'd have made sure it was everyone's problem..."

Double Trouble has posed:
Double Trouble cackled, "Just like you always do, darling." They turned to press their lips to her scalp as they squeezed her shoulders. "It's my favorite thing about you."

Then they turned to rest their cheek against her head, eyes staring off across the room. "You and Scorpia have a lot in common, actually," they say. "When I first met her, she was Force Captain Scorpia, and all she wanted to do was her best. Her family sold out to the Horde when she was a baby, so it was all she knew. But she didn't belong. She's got such a pure soul. Just like you." Another kiss and squeeze of the shoulders.

"But you both figured it out eventually. Though, for her it took Catra breaking her heart."

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave a light chuckle and closed her eyes, nestling up in the shoulder groove of the etherian. "Pfft. You're such a lil trouble sower..." she whsipered. "I love that about you. And I don't know, my soul isn't that pure. It's... really not hard for me to go back. It only took a few seconds to go Sunbreaker again once the geode was off. I don't think a 'good' person would go bad that quickly... especially considering how quickly I started to fall back to being Sunset."

"... A good person could handle it... or would find another way. I'm... just a person."

Hinoiri's heart was broken too, admittedly in a different way. She still hurt from what Sora did. "Did... you want to watch something? Or... think we should turn in early tonight? I'm... admittedly really tired. I just... don't want you to go anywhere, though. I keep... thinking... about what could have happened...."

Double Trouble has posed:
Double Trouble brought their hand up and flicked Hinoiri's forehead with one of their slender fingers. "That's just the intrusive thoughts, which the dark energy makes so much worse," they said. And the way they said it, it was clear they knew from first hand experience. "You're a good person. That's why you're not going to do it again. You went back and you don't like who you became, so don't go back again, darling."

They leaned in to kiss her forehead where they'd flicked it, their hand combing back into her hair and holding her head just so. "Mm. Let's watch something silly while I eat that chocolate you offered, then sleep. We can just stay right here the whole night."
