Profile
Gaito, heir of the Panthalassa Clan, holds the title of King of the Deep Seas and the Panthalassa's power of Darkness, where his castle is located, and is the leader of a small army of water demons, the Dark Lovers and the Black Beauty Sisters. Born in the darkness and confinement of his palace due to the crimes of his ancestors, he holds a deep seated grudge against Aqua Regina for his imprisonment, which motivates him to seek revenge against her and to fulfill the ambitions of his ancestors.
His only loyalty and love goes to Sara, the mermaid princess of the Indian Ocean, who freed him from his prison after stealing the Sealing Key from Hippo. Finding in her a kindred soul, Gaito confided his pain to Sara, and so did she to him, and the two of them became lovers. Having temporarily abandoned his previous goal of capturing all mermaid princesses to obtain Aqua Regina's power, he now seeks to find the only other living Panthalassa royal, his brother Kaito and to join their two powers of light and darkness to achieve all his goals.
