Ami Mizuno has posed:
The office of Doctor Mizuno lay within the Crystal Palace, adjoining it's infirmary, and it was in here that she would be most easily found. With their King and his younger counterpart both freed up, she hadn't been quite as busy as she had been previously. Some treatment plans still needed to be organised, but the overall workload had definitely been reduced.

On the heels of the ship-bound battle overhead and the looming doom of Nemesis, thwarted at the efforts of their past-selves and their friends, Ami had found herself just sitting. Rest and a moment where the glasses left her nose, settled on the desk beside her as she leaned back into a lightly creaking chair to sigh.

She wore her hair longer than the younger her. It fell to shoulders, caught at the back of her head in a practical tail. She wore a very business-casual dress beneath the white of a labcoat, looking every bit the part of an overworked physician in this moment.

Neo Queen Serenity's slumber had been difficult and Ami was very glad that it was over.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Spending time with Makoto Kino, future edition, had been relaxing, in the way that spending time with Makoto Kino, present edition, always is. Usagi had talked with her for nearly an hour, talking about Chibiusa, her friends, their world, and what they'd been through. It had been good, and it had been reassuring, and she was feeling just about ready to try and actually talk to her future self, the Queen of the whole everything.

Of course, that's when she catches sight of tell-tale blue from the corner of her eye and whips around, twintails swinging. This time, she doesn't call out the name of her friend in advance - she actually waits, seeing who it is she's noticed, and her eyes widen a little.

"Dr. Ami-chan," she calls cheerfully, and hurried down the side hall adjacent to Ami, trotting alongside her. "I'm running into everyone this time - how are you? Are you feeling good? Did anyone mention that we're running around from the past to you? Your hair looks really pretty!"

Nephrite has posed:
Dr. Ami-chan. Usagi's voice rings out and Masato can't help but pause, turning his head to look in that direction.

He had been checked over gently and given a little pain relief by Isamu, who had insisted when Masato had gone down to the Infirmary to talk with him again. Healing gel given topically to various lightning-like burns that mapped across his skin. Tomorrow, Mamoru would heal whatever injury and soreness remained. Today, though, even Mamoru needed rest.

The rest was distraction from the matter of Riventon, and time spent with an alternate Shitennou who reminded him very much of a past dynamic with Zoisite he sometimes missed. An echo from long, long ago, unburdened by present difficulties.

But there, exactly where he supposed anyone should find the woman after being released from her laborious struggle in the depths of the palace, was Ami-- Dr. Mizuno, rather. He found himself staring a little. It was a little odd to see her looking almost like her own mother.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Oh, that hadn't lasted long. There were the voices again. Doctor, doctor--though, this one was a little curious.Doctor Ami-chan was quite a bit less formal than the Doctor Mizuno she was more used to. It was definitely enough to catch her attention and the sight of long, blonde, odango'd hair immediately brought a smile to her features.

Ami's glasses were taken up once more as she stood from her chair and sapphire gaze swept this vision of her Queen from long ago.

"Usagi-chan." The very medical Ami bowed her head respectfully. "I hadn't expected to see you here. You're not injured, are you?"

She was already taking a step forward, fully prepared for an examination, until she caught sight of the man beyond. He looked familiar, too.

"Is that Nephrite?" She asked, almost a whisper.

Of course it was. Isamu had mentioned that the past Shitennou were also present. "That's bringing back some memories."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Face to face, and Dr. Ami Mizuno is taller than the Ami-chan she knows, reasonable given how much of an adult she is, and Usagi takes a moment to look her over. Her thoughts unknowingly echo Masato's - she does look a lot like her mother.

"Not too bad! I got knocked out of the fight for a while, so people like Masato-kun took more of the hits than me." That's right, she has no problem with throwing Masato under the bus when it comes to worry! She really is alright - a little sore maybe, a little tired, but not so bad that her regular enhanced healing won't fix it up.

It helps that she can see Dr. Mizuno's shock, the surprise that's swept over her, and establishing Masato as Masato seems a good idea.

"It is. He's one of Mamochan's best friends! And... we found your world's Nephrite, too, so you're getting one to stick around."

Nephrite has posed:
He recognises the look Ami's wearing, he knows he's being talked about. What a time to be shirtless-- albiet with a little bit of medical dressings, but--

A deep clearing of his throat lets him bring up a hand to wave, stiffly. "Afternoon, Ami-ch-- Mizuno Sensei."

He manages to offer a handsome, congenial smile. It neatly covers any apprehension he has about the last time this version of Ami knew a Nephrite.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Sensei?" Doctor Mizuno sounded a little amused. "I think, given the circumstance, you're okay to just use my name."

Masato took more hits. Doctor Mizuno slid past Usagi to inspect the man's bandages. She was quick but perhaps a little invasive, plucking an arm by the wrist to lift it high and press fingers into his ribs. Evidently, she still clearly remembered who Masato Sanjouin was.

"Well, he seems to have been seen to quite adeptly." Ami murmured to herself. "You're not in any discomfort, are you?"

She glanced Usagi's way with a faint smile. "I think he's going to be okay. There's nothing here that Endymion-heika or your own Mamoru would be unable to fix."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"'Sensei'?" Usagi echoes, all amusement, but she doesn't openly ask him if he's flustered; that would just be putting a point on it. "Dr. Ami-chan, or Mizuno-san could probably do."

There is no world where Masato is about to call Dr. Ami 'Dr. Ami-chan' like that, but you know, the fact is, she would love to hear it. She watches him get swiftly poked and investigated, and smiles warmly.

"I thought he must be alright, since he's out of bed and wandering around," she reassures Dr. Ami, "But you're the doctor, not me, so it's good to know you agree! How are you, by the way? I haven't seen the queen yet, but Mamochan is with her, and I think Chibiusa-chan is with Mamo-sama."

Nephrite has posed:
Masato tensed a little when the Doctor started towards him suddenly, and the surprise disarmed him such that he barely did more than blink at her as he was manouvered. Prodded at. He winced mildly, jerking to the left with a hiss through teeth.

Discomfort? "Not until you poked me," he muttered through his smile, which held more tersely now. Sapphire eyes turned to Usagi as well, like a small signal: yes. He is a little bit flustered. Hearing 'Mamo-sama' doesn't help, because he has to try very hard not to snort.

"I haven't spoken to the... other Nephrite, yet. The Naru's Grandson thing is a little weird."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Unlike Masato, the future Ami doesn't seem at all reserved in the trill of laughter that escapes her. Mamo-sama is certainly a means of distinguishing their own Mamoru--Mamochan--from his regal counterpart. Still, for Doctor Mizuno, it's at least a little bit of a strange distinction. After all, she could still remember when Neo Queen Serenity--her Usagi-chan--would call him the precise same.

It was nostalgic. She did smile at Masato, though.

"There is some swelling there. I could give you something to bring that down a little bit, if you'd like? Otherwise, you'll just be waiting for one of our Mamorus to see to you." Ami shrugged a little, enjoying the brief pluralisation.

Then her smile was turned on Usagi.

"I was very glad to hear that Small Lady had come back to us safe and well." Ami nodded. "As for me--I'm fine. Tired, but fine, and also looking forward to seeing my beautiful Queen again."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
The trill of laughter that escapes Dr. Ami at Mamo-sama makes Usagi grin widely, pleased. It's not exactly hard to make Ami smile, but it's always nice. What could be more enjoyable than making the people you love happy?

"He did not laugh when he heard it," she informs Dr. Ami. "He called me Usagi-hime in revenge, but the joke was on him! I'll take that in exchange."

She won't put it out there that the king hadn't wanted her to call him Mamochan, that's his business. But her nickname for him? Fair game.

"Beautiful, huh?" She preens a little. "You'll probably rest better once you've seen her and Mamo-sama and Chibiusa-chan, huh? Since they weren't well."

Nephrite has posed:
It is odd to see the way Ami has changed and yet, seemingly remained the same. Her smile is the same. That is... comforting, in a very small way, too. "And it's alright. I've been given something for the inflammation, it should settle soon."

Masato quietly considers something that he had been avoiding up until that point, and finds his thoughts turning towards the pink haired Princess. "She's grown a bit. Chibiusa..." A mused understatement, not just meant of her appearence.

A glance is given to Usagi, like a small question unvoiced. Chibiusa... surely, she'll stay here in Crystal Tokyo. Which should be a happy thought.

But it also isn't.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Good." Ami said to Masato, evidently pleased that he'd been offered medicines already, and her gaze shifted to Usagi.

"She and I have been together for a long, long time." Doctor Mizuno stated plainly, though she managed to maintain a wry, almost knowing kind of smile. "I'll definitely rest better once I've had a chance to see that she's okay."

She nodded gently. "I'd also like to check on the other Senshi, too. It has been a little while since we've had the chance to do anything else."

Other than guard their posts, keeping the Crystal Palace nominally safe within a dying world.

"Someone has to make sure they'll take time to take care of themselves. Between us--" She glanced about in mock conspiracy. "Mamorus aren't amazing at looking after themselves. Amazing when it comes to other people, but for himself he sometimes needs a little push."

She lifted her brows a little. "Usagis, too, in my experience. Have you eaten yet?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Blue eyes blink wide open, and then it's Usagi's turn to giggle, that bright warm sound ringing like a bell. "I shouldn't be surprised that I still have good taste."

She says it happily, contently, smugly, even.

"I'm sure you'll have a super romantic reunion, too. I mean, you've met me."

It's probably true, though Dr. Ami has known Usagi - Neo Queen Serenity - for much longer than Usagi has known herself. Still, Usagi knows Usagi, and Usagi knows her girls, too.

"Makoto-chan is in her garden, and she let me snack on some of the things there," she says promptly, "Lots of fruit is in season after all that, and the puppy dog eyes are just as powerful now as they must be... now?"

Her puppy dog eyes are as powerful as Neo Queen Serenity's, she means, but she's mangled it a little thinking of her present as Neo Queen Serenity and Sailor Jupiter and Dr. Mizuno's past and their present as her future.

"You're right about Mamorus though. Mamo-sama was not doing good and Mamochan went and fought with his stupid brother - Masato-kun will help with that - so they could both use help. Chibiusa-chan was doing okay, I think."

She's trying not to think too hard about her future daughter and the fact that she'll probably have to leave her here.

Nephrite has posed:
"I will help with that," Masato notes with an almost determined nod, rubbing idly at where he was poked, but he softens with a look to Ami. "Though, it is nice to hear that your Makoto-san is back in her garden. And to see you, here..."

Able to move about, to breathe again, and return to their respective elements. He squints a little at the doctor though, inclining his head.

"Have you eaten, Ami-san?" He reverses it.
