Reunited and it feels Terrible!

Synopsis:	After the removal of Crystal Hope, Bow finds out about the other plan to remove the chip through an ambush that Sayaka set up (on accident). Bow learns that Glimmer is on Earth. Ice cream was lost, tears were shed, and Bow (and Riventon) leaves empty handed.

Bow has posed:
It's a warm and pleasant afternoon. Bow asked Sayaka to spend some time with him in the park, just to be away from the dorms for a bit. There had been a stop to get some really tall ice cream cones, and currently, the Etherian is settled on a bench, watching a mime perform to the music of a local busker with a small guitar case set out to collect tips.

The mime is moving to the music, pretending to be trapped in a box at the moment, as he feels his way around, and Bow is watching the performance with wide-eyed wonderment. "Oh oh, he's almost out!" he tells Sayaka with a grin. Yes, he's sure it's not a real box - but one can never tell when there may be a MIME YOUMA that CAN ACTUALLY PUT YOU IN AN INVISIBLE BOX.

He takes a lick from his cone (strawberry, natch) as he leans back in the seat. There's a lot going on, but just for the moment, it's a chance to relax. And while most of his injuries have healed or been healed, there's still a white bandage on the back of Bow's neck and when he walks it's still a little gingerly from the damage to his legs when he burned Madoka's branches. He'll be right as rain, soon, though.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
The walk in the park wasn't actually all it seemed to be for Bow and Sayaka, due to latter having organised things so that Bow and Glimmer could meet again, since they did keep up communications and the bluenette had in fact kept her informed over the events of the last few days. It must have been a huge weight off of her shoulder to know that her friend is no longer at risk. Now however, it is finally time for the meeting, and this is the message Sayaka had sent from her dorm room.

<PHONE> Sayaka Miki texts Glimmer Brightmoon: Hey, Glimmer, I'm heading out with Bow to the park. See you there!

Now she is just watching the mime's performance alongside Bow, tasting her own raspberry ice cream, but keeping an eye out for when Glimmer would come along. "He is quite good", Sayaka smiles at Bow, find more enjoyment in Bow's excitement than the escape of the mime himself.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
About ten minutes ago:
Glimmer was playing on her gameboy still, she'd finally beaten the Elite Four! Weren't so elite, now were they? And she'd even broken that one boy, her 'rival'... She was unsure how she felt about that. Because she'd really expected the 'Boy she'd known since she was a child' to be, like. Awesome. Except here he was a jerk. Rude.

But she was midway through finding Mewtwo when suddenly...

A text on her phone. She glanced at it, sighed, rolled her eyes... but then read the message. It cut off after 'see' because she.... hadn't remembered how to unlock it. Listenm. Tech stuff was usually Bow's department.

But IT WAS TIME FOR BOW! "Okay, we're doing this now! GO GO GO GO!"

... What followed was Glimmer grabbing a bunch of people from around Obsidian, Riventon, Catra and Ember, then teleporting them.

A minute ago:

Glimmer and her less-than-merry band suddenly found themselves over the air and then DROPPING onto Bow. "QUICK GRAB HIM HOLD HIM DOWN ENTRAPTA GET THE CHIP OFF!" That meant Riventon. A moment later, however... "Oh... uhhhh... it's gone. Did you... Oh. Ohhhhh. Was that what all of the texts from before were about?" Now, sitting on Bow... she blinked and looked at her phone and... "Entraton, how do I unlock this thing again? OH! Err, right. Heyyyy. Ember, uhhhh, go get Catra some like... ice cream or something, okay? Right, err.... Oh!" and then whispered to her. "Take her to meet with Scorpia, okay? She'll probably love that!" And then practically shoved them out. Before turning back to Bow. Who was likely... very confused. "So... uhhhhh.... heeeeeey... Boooooow... uhhhhh..." she pulled out her phone. Tapped on it, then just held it out to Riventon. "How do I get like... old messages from this again?"

... She is a queen. A planet depended on her. She had PEOPLE who put their lives IN HER HANDS.

Takashi Agera has posed:
    Riventon was in the middle of moving towards Bow - when Glimmer noted it was gone. And then Glimmer was... pushing him away. "Wait, it's not? Then what are we doing he-" he began, confusion evident on his face. Confusion that turned to... frustration... and visible anger... when she held her phone out to him.

    "You... you what?!" he began, trying to process the situation that she had put them in. "We just dropped out of the middle of nowhere for nothing because you didn't unlock your phone or ask for help?!" he asked, and his fists clenched angrily.

    "I cannot- I refuse..." he says, shaking his head. And then he lifted it up and looked dead on at Glimmer, pointing a finger at her threateningly. "When you get back we're going to have a very long talk about 'exactly' how you screwed up everything today." he says, poking the shorter cotton-candy haired girl in the forehead with that accusatory finger. "And when you get back I'm going to be 'absolutely sure' to see to it that this doesn't happen ever again." he snarls with barely controlled anger before taking a step back - back and dimensionally, fading into the dusk zone with the anger still visible on his face.

    He doesn't even want to try to deal with Sayaka or Bow now, and they only get cursory looks from him before he duskports out - there is no chip here, no threat, no value, and at this point, this is exclusively a Problem With Glimmer. And her not knowing how her damned phone works.

Bow has posed:
Just as he was about to take a bite of his ice cream, suddenly, Sayaka is throwing him the worst surprise party ever. Glimmer and all the others port in. His ice cream cone falls to the bench. He's held down, searched, the bandage removed, and all that... for nothing. There's no chip - there's no earring. Both are gone. And Bow was still really raw from that.

And Glimmer is sitting on top of him. Back home, back on Etheria? This would have probably made him blushed a new shade of red. He's turning red, that much is true. But it's a growing anger. One that starts in the belly as he is manhandled and then just... Glimmer is ordering them away. No. Not Glimmer.

Double Trouble.

Riventon duskports away, Catra and Ember are heading off. It leaves Glimmer, sitting on Bow. And in that moment, instead of a hug, hi or hello, or any of the ways that Bow would greet Glimmer, were it the real Glimmer? His hand reaches out, grabbing the remains of his ice cream cone.

And it's flung into Glimmer's face. SPLUT. "GET OFF ME, YOU DAMNED..... WHATEVER YOU ARE!" he roars, anger rising in a new fashion as he glares daggers at the fake Glimmer.

Or supposedly fake Glimmer.

And with that, he lays into her. "I know it's you, Double Trouble! I know you've been faking being Glimmer to get into Adora's head, making her worse when she was sick with the dark magic! I know you're just here to cause your chaos and confusion and I REFUSE TO BE PART OF IT!" Angry tears start to stream down his face as he hits Glimmer in the stomach, a useless gesture, there's no heat behind it. The culmination of the last couple of weeks comes crumbling down as he struggles to get out from under her. "I hate you for what you're doing to Glimmer's name! And I don't hate anyone! And I hate that even more!"

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"If there was one thing Sayaka didn't expect her message to do is to see a mini army show up to... get the chip off of Bow? All the waiting for Glimmer to arrive couldn't have prepared her for that. The bluenette jumps up at the incoming chaos, her first response to the mayhem to try and put a stop to that overreaction. Things don't quite go as expected though because she had gotten up with such vehemency that the top ice cream ball starts defying gravity for a time, ungraciously landing on the bluenette's hair right afterwards. That arc would get a 10/10 out of any jury, such was the trajectory's perfection.

In the time that she is distracted by her own ice cream's surprise attack, they have already realised the truth on their own, Sayaka grumpily looking at Glimmer while she figures out what the phone had been ringing with messages about. "Couldn't you have sequestered me again if you didn't know what my messages were about? I would have show you right away", she sighs, doing her best to get the ice cream off of her hair with a napkin.

"Yo, Riventon", she acknowledges the scientist's presence with a half-smile. "We already chipped away at the problem, no need to hammer at it." Though the glance is all the recognition she gets before he duskports away after the exasperation he just made clear to Glimmer. "Hey, Bow, it's all fine, she will get down in a second", she tries to reassure him.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon just... just gave Riventon a shrug. "What? Tech is usually Bow's thing. Fine, fine, we'll talk later." Despite the... rather threatening display, she was taking it in stride. What'd he do, trap her in a tower of villains? Oh, wait, he had.

Then... Then Bow was yelling at her. "What?" she asked. And the ice cream splattered on her face. And she was even more confused, reaching up to wipe her face. WHY?! She landed on him all the time! Like, all the time! He used to set the time by it! Not really, but still.

"Wait, Adora is... what?! Dark magic?! She... OH! Right! Errr..." And then she teleported off him. "Ah... ha ha... ha? I'm Glimmer, err, I mean, I'm Double Trouble, daaaaaahling, the..." And then... then the angry tears. And he punched her. It wasn't a hard punch, but it was a punch. She stared at him, a sad look on her face...

Then she looked to Sayaka and... "Ohhhhh... That would have been a good idea. See, this is why Bow was always in charge of the tech stuff. He's..." and then back to him.

Finally, she sighed. "Bow... it is me. I'm, ummmm... I'm sorry. I uhhh... listen. I heard that Light Hope was here and I've been preparing to get her off you, safely, considering last time I was near her she almost had me to destroy the world and... I figured it was best she didn't know I was here. But it's me, really. I swear. Ask me something only you would know and I'll prove it!"

Pause.

"Wait, no, ask me something only I would know! HA! That'd... wait, then you wouldn't know either, huh? Ummmm..." Pause. "OH! Sonic arrow! THAT has to prove it!" THAT PROVES NOTHING!

Bow has posed:
At first Glimmer is trying to pretend to continue to be Double Trouble. Fine, Bow is just going to continue to be mad at her. "I never forgave you for what happened with Saleinas! And I'm not going to let you off easy for mis-representing HER!" he roars angrilly, just in time for Glimmer to get a clue and teleport off of him.

On his feet as soon as Glimmer has teleported away from him, Bow's hands clutch at his sides in angry balls of fury as Sayaka speaks up, and he feels his throat go dry. "You /knew/?" he asks of her, his tone high-pitched, voice broken in an incredulous at the whole idea that she would betray him utterly like this.

Glimmer is trying to calm him down and she's telling him that she's the real deal, and asking him to prove to him that she's her and he's even more confused, and then she yells about the Sonic Arrow. "EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE SONIC ARROW!" he yells, another sharp frown comes to his features, and then he huffs. "Fine! you want to prove you're Glimmer..." He tries to think of something in his file that only Glimmer would know.

"If you're really Glimmer... and not a fake then you'll know this, ah ah..." there's so much about him that is known, what could she know what he knows that he knows that she would only know. "Two questions!"

"One. What's tattooed on my dad's arm?" He doesn't say /which/ dad, because that ties into question two. "What's my mother's name?"

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka nods at Bow's question over her knowing. "Yeah, I did know. Glimmer has been helping in the background over Crystal Hope's removal, after getting Catra to steal my bag", Sayaka nods, only acknowledging Glimmer as Glimmer, but otherwise giving her the opportunity to prove herself. "She is the one that confirmed all the suspicious behaviour Crystal Hope had been demonstrating. She wanted to meet you, that was my thought at least."

She gives Glimmer a supporting smile despite the mess, with a "you can do it" expression, after that going back to try and fixing the mess on her hair. Though, she is thinking more and more that getting any more of the ice cream out of her hair will require a shower.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon blinked a few times. "Really? Everyone? Wow. And here I thought it was a pretty good secret. Uhhhh... right. Okay. So, ummm... something like that. Wait, your dad's arm? Whic--"

And then he hit her with the big question. The one to shake the very foundations of her world. And she looked at him with confusion, then gasped, her hands splaying out. "You have a *mom*?!" she finally asked. Before asking the most Glimmer question to ever Glimmer. Leaning forward to kind of whisper it, her voice dripping with concern. "Do... do your dads know?"

"... Oh, and ummm... Lunch, I guess. I mean, he said he thought it was love, but then Adora, the... triple... major? Was she a triple major by the end? Said it was lunch. I always meant to ask her if she was messing with him, but I never did. Eh, she probably wasn't."

"And... I did kind of ask Double Trouble to keep the fact I was here a secret because... I..." Deep breath. "There are some... things... going on that I can't tell you yet. But... I need you to trust me, it's for the right reasons and... I know I don't know her... but ummm, once I figure it out? I'd love to meet your mom. Why didn't you tell me you had one?"

Bow has posed:
Bow's furious. It's a rare look for him, but it's there. He's furious at Sayaka for hiding this VERY IMPORTANT FACT from him, and not sharing it with him, because it would have changed SO MANY THINGS. And now, as Glimmer answers both questions both correctly and in the most Glimmer way possible, the Etherian archer is dumb-struck. His shoulders slump. His whole posture seems to be on the verge of a collapse. Boneless. That's a good word for it.

"You know I had two dads, no mom." he says quietly. "...Glimmer... I... the last time I saw you... Horde Prime was... you were..." his tears are obvious. Fear, worry. Relief. "How... why..." And unfortunately, he's stuck in a loop.

He stares between the two teens for a moment and then he shakes his head. "I need to think." he says finally, quietly, voice filled with hurt, relief, fear, worry, so many conflicts. "I..." he wants to sweep Glimmer up in a hug, but he's just SO MAD AND CONFUSED.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka looks with alarm at the furious look on Bow's face. "Bow... I didn't hold it back because I wanted. Glimmer didn't either", Sayaka starts explaining, looking at him straight in the face, frowning slightly at that stormy expression. "It's just as she says, her situation right now isn't ideal, but the first thing she did when she got Catra to drag me where she wanted is to ask about you. Want to be mad at me? Do it, I will do what I can to be forgiven", she says, her tense expression having erased any traces of her earlier jokes.

He should be able to see what is really going on eventually, she thinks. She will see if she can give the space he wants."Just give Glimmer a chance. You were an important part of her thoughts, and she is your best friend. I assure you she only wanted the best."

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon blinked a few times, staring at him. She wanted to say something, but honestly? She just... looked confused. Baffled, even. "Last time... Horde Prime? Bow, that was ages ago, you and Adora saved me and... Oh... oh no..." And now? The whole thing with Catra? Seemed a LOT less amusing. Sure, it was a little fun to mess with her sometimes. But affecting Bow? THAT wasn't good.

"Yeah! Right! Listen to Sayaka," Glimmer said. Entirely because Sayaka was supporting her poor choices.

"Wait, but that means... oh. You're from after that. Right. Okay. So, Horde Prime kidnapped me, you and Adora saved me, I teleported into space, we found Catra a weird cat thing, which is currently back at Obsidian, we kicked Horde Prime's butt, I conf--" And then stopped, covering her mouth. Oh. Ohhhhhhh no.

... Was... was she going to have to confess again?

Oh gosh, she was going to, wasn't she? And it had been so hard the first time and...

"LET'S GET ICE CREAM!" she finally yelled. "YES ICE CREAM MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!" And then she just grabbed Sayaka and Bow's wrists and TELEPORTED! Only to... fizzle out, only making it about ten feet and then promptly faceplanting. "Oh... right..."

She did jsut teleport a ton of people across the city... and hadn't recharged yet. "... I swear I hate this planet sometimes. Right. Let's... ugh... *walk*... and get ice cream. Because I can see ummm... you two have lost yours." Pause. "Oh, right, I don't have money here... Sayaka, you got it, right? Like... you're a native here. Normally I just have Ember pay but I sent her off to deal with Catra."

See, this is why she needed Bow and Adora. Without the full group? This was the kind of ideas she had.

Bow has posed:
Bow stands there. He's lost and confused and angry, and just it's a perfect storm of emotions. "I... I need to think." his hands unclench. He's defeated. It's all too much, and his insides all crumple inside. And the worst part of it all - his best friend that he could talk to about this and figure it out?

One of them is in the hospital after being attacked by his girlfriend's ex. The other one he hasn't seen since she got recovered from the dark energy that overtook her. And the other two - are right in front of him and leaving him betrayed.

And then Bow's teleported - which further proves that this is the real Glimmer, and he just stares at her. "No. No!"

"Ice cream is not going to fix this." he declares. He stares between the two teen girls for a moment. And then, without another word, he pivots on his heel to start to walk away.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Well, Sayaka does have money with herself, even if she isn't sure it will particularly help the situation. "Bow, if you take the ice cream, neither of us will ask you to talk", Sayaka says in support of Glimmer's idea, but at the same time shooting her a glance saying, 'please go along with this'. Because the best they can aim for right now is getting him to absorb impact while they keep an eye on him.

And then there is Sayaka's first experiment with a teleport, one that makes her feel a bit queasy. "Are you always so spontaneous about teleports?", she asks, counting herself lucky it's not that strong a feeling. But then Bow walks away and just repeats his terms, leaving Sayaka to look on in sadness.

"Let's allow him to think, I will offer you that ice cream, and after that we can just spend some time around Tokyo. I know some interesting places if you want to come along", she offers Glimmer. Though she is doing it just as much to take her mind off of things.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Glimmer Brightmoon shook her head, looking up at him. "I... Well, I mean... Bow! You're... you're my best friend, and I don't... know what..." she said, reaching out a hand to him, then stopping. She watched her go, a defeated look on her face.

Dang it... she didn't want him to be... She sighed. "I-I've been watching your youtube! When I can work the phone! It was great!" she called out to him.

She then nodded to Sayaka. "I mean... yeah... I... let's... let's do that..." Glimmer said softly, watching him go. "I just... I... I have the best reasons this time..."

.... But... but there was one thing that flooded in her mind.

If the last thing he saw from her was Hordak and her being taken by Horde Prime...

... The very next time they saw each other? Bow had been mad at her. Actually mad at her. Was... he mad at her now? Because she'd been selfish and greedy but...

No. He'd forgive her. He'd understand. Once she got her runestone back, he'd understand everything. "Yeah. I... I want to hear all about you and Bow, okay? He'll come around, I know he will. He's the heart of the Best Friend's Squad, after all. Heh... And ummm... good job on getting Light Hope off. She's a real... she's trouble. Really." She then pulled out a necklace, sliding it on.... becoming...

Her 'reverse-henshin'. Just a normal, tough, Glimmer-from-the-streets. Leather jacket and all. "Let's go get some ice cream and just... show me around, okay?"
