Profile

Gaito, heir of the Panthalassa Clan, holds the Panthalassa's power of Darkness and the title of King of the Deep Seas, where his castle is located, and is the leader of a small army of water demons, the Dark Lovers and the Black Beauty Sisters. Born in the darkness of his parents' ambition, as a child his power was used to start a second chapter of the Panthalassa War of Supremacy, together with his little brother Kaito.

The two brothers were freed from the Panthalassa monarchs' grasp thanks to many losses from the Mermaid Princesses. He and Kaito were separated to stop their powers from ever being used for disaster ever again, and he was sent to Dottor Somegoro's kingdom with the fishes of his family so he would have an element of familiarity with him, hoping that under hos guidance, Gaito would have a home where he could feel welcome and grow into a just and capable person. However, despite the calm of those days, the Panthalassa Prince still harbors a grudge towards Aqua Regina for separating him from his parents.

His only loyalty and love goes to Sara, the mermaid princess of the Indian Ocean, who gave him access to his ancestral home after stealing the Sealing Key from Hippo. Finding in her a kindred soul, Gaito confided his pain to Sara, and so did she to him, and the two of them became lovers. When Sara was lost in her opposition to the Black Moon Clan, his grief ran deep, but he was stopped before he could take out the Earth alongside the Clan. Now he lives in the depths of the Mariana Trench with the comfort of the Dark Lovers at his side.
