Sunbreaker was laying on the couch, watching the TV, with a bowl of popcorn in front of her. She didn’t know who’s cabin this was, but they had a good setup here. Plenty of packaged junk food, cable, place needed dusting but eh, that happened. She'd even picked up a few bags of apples for the alicorn. She had Swiftwing resting on her stomach, both of their eyes locked on the television.
“Akane…” the man said.
“Yes?” the girl asked.
“Akane,” the man said.
“Yes?” the girl asked.
“Akane!” the man said.
“Yes?” the girl asked.
Followed by… a to be continued message. Sunbreaker rolled her eyes. Stupid daytime soaps. Who--
“S-so beautiful…” Swiftwind whispered, wiping his eyes. “Do you think Akane and Akimatsu will find their love again?”
Sunbreaker barely suppressed the urge to give a sarcastic answer. He. Was just. Too. Precious. “Yes. I’m sure that love will conquer all and all--” Her words were cut off when suddenly Swiftwind grew many, many times. FAR too many times. Towering over her, he reared!
“Did somebody say SWIFTWIND?! It’s She-ra, she needs me! Come, my pretty-horn-friend! We must go and-- Sunbreaker?” Swiftwind looked down… before quickly leaping off.
Sunbreaker laid there. Eyes twitching. She was in henshin. So she would survive. But having a stomach full of popcorn and apples, with a maaaaaybe three pound alicorn on your stomach… suddenly turn into a half-ton ‘noble steed’ of She-ra? She gave a whimper and rolled off the couch, clutching her stomach. “Grk…”
“O-oh no! Do you require medical aid?”
“I-I… r-require… a-a minute…” Sunbreaker said, gasping for air. Oh gosh thank goodness she’d been in henshin. She lightly kicked her feet ineffectually, trying to distract from the aching, now bruised, organs. She was going to have two hoofprints embedded in her stomach for a while, she suspected.
“We must go! She-ra needs me!” Swiftwind said, rearing once again. This time without landing on her.
Sunbreaker’s eyes twitched. She was beginning to see why people thought he might… be a bit much at times. Adora BETTER appreciate this.
