Rebuilding the Rebellion
Date of Scene: 21 February 2024
Location: Plot Room 2
Synopsis: Sayaka and Rashmi bring the unconscious Bow to Nurse Meiou so he can be looked at, and after important contributions by Setsuna and Koji, and an additional service by Ula, it is with Hope and Resolve in a sparkling future that they part with the knowledge that Bow, now Luke, has provided them.
Cast of Characters: Sayaka Miki, Rashmi Terios, Bow, Setsuna Meiou, Koji Silvia

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Right after the battle at the portal, Sayaka has stopped the suddenly fainting guy from impacting the ground, and after picking him up, she has started heading to the infermeria, accompanied by Rashmi and Ula, moving in a quick stride hoping that either by some miracle Nurse Meiou is there, or at least there is a way to contact here.

"His name is Bow. Or at least, his code name is", Sayaka shares with the fellow magical girl. "Ula has heard that crystal call him that way, earlier at the beach. He was really reluctant about shutting down that portal. I think he might be stuck here."

Once they reach their destination, Sayaka looks at the closed door and windows first, then at Rashmi. "So, what do we do now? Should we try a hospital?"

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Following the Battle at the Beach, Rashmi had many, many complicated feelings. Clearly the boy, Bow, knew Adora. Which was good! But Adora also knows Catra, and apparently they come from wildly different places on Adora's personal timeline. Where does Bow land? And how will Adora react? How will *Bow* react to there not being a ready way to get *off* Earth?

All these thoughts and more whirl around her head, as they reach the nurse's office, and finds it closed.

"It's okay," Rashmi says, "Setsuchan told me what to do."

Clearing her throat, she raises her voice just enough to be addressing someone inside the room. "Niti-chan," she calls. "Can you unlock the door, please? And let Setsuna know we're here?"

Bow has posed:
As Sayaka is carrying the dark Etherian boy in her arms, he's dressed in a cloak. No armor, no gear. Just a crystal in his hands that is clutched tightly to his chest. No visible wounds or injuries.

He'd be considered sleeping, if he hadn't just passed out in the middle of the beach after a transformation from an alien crystal.

But he's an alien too. So it's all good. Right?

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
From inside the Infirmary, there's a *PLONG* sound and then a synthesized voice can be heard through the door, "Certainly, Red."

Yes, the computer just called her by her hair color.

Mainly because that way the form of address will be accurate enough either in or out of henshin.

Immediately thereafter, the sound of the lock clicking open can be heard, the lights inside come on, and Rashmi gets a phone call from Setsuna.

On pickup, her voice is clipped and there's a fair bit of background wind noise as she merely says, "Sitrep."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Oh, neat!" Sayaka says as she hears the sound of the door unlocking. "Are you the nurse's right hand then?" she asks to Rashmi while she walks into the door and look for a bed to lower Bow into. Now all that is left is waiting for ither him to come to, or for Nurse Meiou to come in. Either way, they should probably prepare for a lot of questions, she thinks, even if hasn't prepared something to say.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
The question produces a chuckle from the redhead. "No, just, she's become a very, very good frien--"

Interrupted by the ringing of her phone, she clears her throat, answers it, and nods. "Hi Setsuchan. So uh... Turns out Adora-chan's got another visitor from her world. And by the look of it, things over there are very, very bad, but I'm not super sure *how* bad. I'll explain more when you get here, right now he's passed out and apparently his uh..."

Pausing, she looks at the crystal *very closely* for a moment, brow furrowed. "--well it's not a Device, but acts a lot like one... anyway it built him a henshin on the spot, which probably was the final straw for his brain. So Sayaka-chan and I are gonna sit with him, and when you get here you'll hear aaaaaall about it."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Over the sound of rushing wind, a sigh can be heard, "Is the apocalypse there likely to STAY there, or are we going to have to add to the ever-growing list of impending apocalypses?"

There's a brief pause, "...and I really really hate that I need to know the plural form of 'apolcalypse'."

Another sigh is huffed, "Anyhow, I was at home, I'll be there in about five or ten more minutes. Fortunately the Shinsanken was coming by."

Which implies she's riding atop the bullet train.

"Do what you can to make him comfortable...and have Niti-chan please open the windows for me."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka perks up when she hears Rashmi make a certain name. Adora, the girl with the winged horse mascot? So, she is an alien too? From the TSAB? Or a Belkan maybe? Or maybe something else entirely? Probably not, though, unless things got ugly from one day to the other. Chrono seemed very calm, as did Hannah, so probably not the same then.

"Is it hard to recover from gaining a henshin so suddenly?", she begins with, looking at the boy with concern, biting her lips. Granted, Nurse Meiou must be at least aware of magic, if not magic herself, if Page Mage is telling her these things, so maybe she knows a quick remedy.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"I'm... *pretty sure* this isn't gonna be another apocalypse," Rashmi answers, not terribly confident at all. "...Not for us, anyway. It's... complicated, and hang on a sec." Pulling the phone away from her ear, she looks up and addresses the ceiling. "Niti-chan, could you open the windows?"

With that, she puts the phone on speaker, since Setsuna doesn't seem inclined to hang up, and sets it on the table nearest Bow's bed. "So we don't know *why* there was a portal, when he wakes up he'll probably be able to say. ...And there were new *villains,* who seemed to exist only to make the whole mess harder for everyone. Just... ugh, It Has Been An Evening. Also Sharpsong, I don't think it was the henshin itself that did it... Just, like... Too Many New Things To Handle kind of fainting, plus being exhausted. Running out of mana for me is a lot like that, so I admit I'm guessing."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
That synthetic voice once more responds to the request with, "Of course, Red."

At which point one of the windows opens inward in such a way that it would be fairly easy for someone outside to make their way through.

Nurse Meoiu's voice says, "Hangon..."

There's the sound of two tapping steps...and then the wind whistling sound gets far more intense, "Okay then. Just get him laid out on one of the beds. I'll be there momentarily."

And with that, the line cuts.

Just outside, there's a soft 'tap' of something landing, but with the blackout blinds covering the inward swung window, it's impossible to see what.

And then, a mere moment later, Nurse Meiou calmly steps in through the open window and drops the three feet down to the floor.

Which, given that, as usual, she's wearing three inch heels is rather something of an accomplishment...and probably another tic in the column of 'Is Nurse Meiou Magic'?

As she looks quickly around, she calmly speaks aloud, "Blackout mode, please, Niti-chan."

The synthetic voice responds with, "Of course, Nurse Meiou."

And then said nurse is stepping quickly over to the two girls and one boy, "So likely magical exhaustion. Any obvious wounds?"

Bow has posed:
The crystal that is residing in Bow's hands starts to pulse with light softly, a little crystalline noise coming from it as it continues... whatever it is that it was doing to Bow.

Bow, for his part, seems out of it. Not like in a deep sleep. More like comatose, or something similar to the idea. He's perfectly still, though easily movable, so no rigor there.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka will take Rashmi's reassurance as she gives it, even if she just admitted not to being Setsuna's assistant. There is really nothing they can do but what for her to get here, anyway. She doesn't have has any magic against exhaustion, and Rashmi would have already used it if she had any.

"Hello, Nurse Meiou", Sayaka greets when Setsuna comes in, admittedly being slightly taken aback by the ease of her landing for the first second. "None visible, and I haven't seen those robots hit him, so maybe nothing internal either." She looks at Ula uncertain when she says the last thing, maybe she could have just missed it in the chaos of the battle, and Ula had been right by the side. The koi mermaid quickly confirms what Sayaka is saying. "I haven't seen those robots hit him either."

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"Can confirm," Rashmi says, nodding in time with Sayaka and Ula. "I had him under a shield for most of it, thankfully, so... Yeah. The first thing he did was ask if we knew Adora. Adora Rainbowfist specifically, and that he was from Etheria, so... no chance of there being any confusion there."

She seems about to go on, but the crystal starts to glow. Racking her brains for words spoken over the din of battle, she tilts her head to one side. "'Initiating Henshin Protocol' was the last thing you said," she says quietly, addressing the crystal itself. "Is it done? Do you need him to say what I heard you say?"

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Nurse Meiou walks over quickly and begins inspecting her new patient, quickly checking for obvious physical wounds and not finding any.

Then with a twist of her wrist, a penlight spins into being in her fingers, and she leans down to gently pry the young man's eye open before flicking the light back and forth to check pupil dilation response.

Afterwards, she holds his wrist up and checks his pulse...though for some reason, she doesn't bother checking a watch the way normal people USUALLY do such a thing.

She steps back a little, "Well, his vitals are still strong. Pretty solidly in the norms for someone his size."

She folds her arms, "If we NEED to, I can wake him up, but at the moment I'm inclined to just let him rest."

She looks at the other two, "Did anyone happen to catch a name for him? If he's going to be here long, I'll have to see about forging an identity for him."

Bow has posed:
The small crystal in Bow's hands chirps at Rashmi, "The process is complete. He will need rest. And adapt. Language, new world. Both of us." comes the admission from Crystal Hope.

To the other question, Crystal pauses. "It is his password. I am not sure if he will approve. It was what I came up with at the time. Long answer short? Yes."

To Setsuna, the crystal responds. "His name is Bow. I am Crystal Hope. I heard you both speak of Adora. She is here, then?" she asks to verify what she had hoped was true.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"I... well..." Rashmi looks from crystal to Setsuna, lifting her shoulders in confused decision. "It's good to meet you, Crystal Hope. Um... There's... *an* Adora-chan here? But there's also a Catra-san. And... she's from Adora-chan's past. Like... pretty far back. When it was all going wrong. What was *happening,* why were you looking for her?"

Another helpless glance is thrown at Setsuna, as if the Guardian of Time could possibly explain it better without knowing any of the timelines of those concerned. But... when you can't answer a question properly, look to the experts.

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Nurse Meiou just steps over to a computer, wakes it up and idly begins typing away.

As she does, she keeps an ear out and answers when Rashmi falters a bit, "Yes, Crystal Hope. It appears that whatever method or methods has brought the three of you here is either not keeping a consistant lock on your timeline relative to ours or perhaps is having a somewhat deleterious effect on the travellers and their personal timelines."

She pauses and frowns, tapping her lips, "...sadly, there's not really much way for me to tell at this point...and the difference is moot to things as they stand either way."

She does a bit more quick typing, "...did mister Bow here perhaps have a last name? Because he's not nearly famous here to get away with having just the one name."

Bow has posed:
"Adora. And Catra?" Crystal Hope sounds confused by this. "Catra was taken by Horde Prime along with Glitter Brightmoon." So that answers that. "Adora went missing shortly after destroying the Sword of Protection. This was the first trace we had detected of her. She has been missing for three months and eighteen days."

Then the attention is turned to names and Crystal chirps in the negative. "Bow is of common birth and not a Princess. Bow is the only name he has ever had. His parents are George and Lance and he has twelve siblings."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka nods as she ponders all the information being discussed. When she sees a pause into the conversation she starts asking questions, mostly to Crystal Hope. "Ok then, so what's Etheria? And what's going on over there that Bow had a futuristic military force coming after him?" She is keeping her arms crossed, looking at all of them and wondering if their relative calm means they are mostly safe.

"How much danger are we in, exactly? Should we expect more of these incursions from those robots? Or was the thing that Bow destroyed the only way to open a portal?" Ula did say that Bow was initially against letting the portal be closed.

And that's what the mermaid points now at this moment. "Bow was clearly anxious about letting the portal be closed before he decided to follow your suggestion", she mentions looking at Crystal Hope. "Is he stranded here for good?"

"And Crystal Hope here is already giving us all answers, so we can let him rest right now", Sayaka tells the Nurse. "But I would be in favour of letting him rest even if she weren't here."

And then there is the whole matter of them being out of phase compared to everyone. "Should we expect multiple of them then? As if maybe the Bow and Catra from Adora's time come here, or the Adora and Bow from Catra's time. Is that an actual possibility?"Then the bluenette does at double take at the 12 siblings. "Didn't you just say he is from a poor family? How can that be true if his parents have enough money to look after 13 children?"

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"That is a lot of *really* good questions, Sharpsong," Rashmi says, leaning against a counter and pulling out her phone out of Nicomachea's storage 'space.'. "Gimme a sec... I'm gonna call someone who could probably help get him what he needs."

<< TXT -- NICOMACHEA ==> HANZO ==> KOJI -- Hey uh... would you happen to be free? We kinda need some seriously unorthodox help, up at the nurse's office. >>

"So uh... Crystal Hope. The Adora-chan here *has* her sword, and talked about beating Horde Prime, and her and Catra-san being together, so... I think she's from *your* future. I can try to get ahold of her once Bow-san wakes up?"

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Finishing whatever she was typing, Nurse Meiou turns in her seat a little to look over at Sayaka, "It's actually fairly common to be rather poor and still have large families in agrarian societies and the like. Lots of extra hands to help around the farm that one does not have to pay is quite desirably, after all."

That said, she crosses her legs and leans her chin on a hand as she settles in to wait for the moment.

Bow has posed:
Crystal Hope seperates herself from Bow, leaving the other crystal - the henshin crystal - against Bow's chest. She floats upwards, the unrefined crystal considering the small group. "For now, we are strranded." she agrees. "While you have magics that are similar to Etheria in some ways, in many ways, they are very different. I have not been able to calculate a time to be able to integrate the magics here to return us home. Even with the access to the Sword of Protection."

A pause. "A warning. Much like the Sword of Protection, that cyrstal will need to be housed. Left alone as it is, he will be able to change, however, he may experience wild magic. I'd perfer that not to happen. If you have someone that is capable of creating such a device? I would appreciate it."

On to the next question. "Bow destroyed the portal that was in my chambers. I do not know of any others. I was only able to download a fragment of myself into this form. There are many variables... I need to be made aware of."

"I do not think that we will need to worry of multiples of the same person. I would postulate that two of the same person cannot exist at two seperate points in a timeline in a same space. To answer your earlier question, Rashmi - our Adora disappear--" Then a pause.

"The *future*. You are *sure*? That gives me hope! Maybe that means..." She pauses. "I will need to theorize on this further!"

Back to Sayaka, Hope offers, "Bow's fathers are the caretakers for the largest library of Etheria. He was their heir for the same position. There is a loose caste system on Etheria. It... is complicated, and I do not have the full data on it. But there are many kingdoms and Princesses. I have nothing to compare the economics of this world to the economics of Etheria, so I will require more data. Though the nurse is quite correct on her assessment."

To the suggestion that they speak when Bow is awake, Crystal Hope pauses. "Oh. I can awaken him now!" she offers helpfully. And the small crystal in his hands emits a spark, and the young archer gasps for a breath. His brown eyes open wide. "I'm awake!" he yelps, "You don't have to shock me like that Glimm..." a pause as he looks around. Unfamilar people. Unfamiliar room. A panic overtakes him and he grabs for a bow - that's not there. Or a quiver. Or his clothes. A yelp, and he's pulling the sheet tightly to him. "H-hello!" he offers quickly. Looking around again. "The beach..." he groans. "...that wasn't a dream, was it?"

Koji Silvia has posed:
     *SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP!*

Somewhere between slurps of instant ramen and watching a video on how to clean the insides of a Playstation Portable being played on the flipphone that is Hanzo, things are paused for Koji as across the screen scrolls...
<< Master. Incoming Message from Nicomachea.>>

*SLUUUUUUUUUUURP!* Koji nomphs down the noodles and fish cake stuck to them before saying, "Display."

<< TXT: Hey uh... would you happen to be free? We kinda need some seriously unorthodox help, up at the nurse's office.>>

Standing up from his crosslegged position on the bed, Koji tilts his head in amusement before he picks up Hanzo, flips the Device closed, and gets into some slip-on shoes before heading towards the infirmary.

Which is where there is a knock on the door to the nurse's office, being delivered by the long-haired young man wearing just a Transformers Convoy t-shirt and RHA sweatpants. Hardly the picture of professionalism and sneakiness.
     *SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP*

And with that, Koji finishes his ramen and tosses the bowl and chopsticks into a nearby bin.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Hmm, they are going to call somebody else? Who know "Are they in on the loop, or will they have to be told too?"

And a small huh is heard when Setsuna explains the advantages of many children in poor family. Put it like that, it's quite logical, even if a bit sad one would have children for that.

The sword of Protection? That name sounds like a big deal for Adora to have, Sayaka ponders as Crystal Hope explains. Is that why Bow's planet (?) is in such a bad state. Would certainly explain his urgency.

And stranded here it is. That must be terrible for him. "For now, I think Bow could try to enroll in this school. Radiant Heart offers housing with its dorms while he recovers and gets used to the situation", Sayaka mentions, looking down at the bed with a troubled expression.

And the notion of Bow's fathers having such a big library is certainly impressive, even if it is not the center of Sayaka's focus for the time being.

"Wait, let him sl-", Sayaka begins to say before Crystal Hope wakes him up. "Hello, Bow-san. You are right, that wasn't a dream. But all the robots got disposed of, and we brought you here to let you recover. This is a school infirmary", Sayaka quickly debriefs him.

And Sayaka doesn't particularly react at the knock. Must be the help Rashmi called.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"Hi, Koji-kun!" Rashmi chirps as the boy enters, waving cheerfully as Setsuna does the post-wakeup nurse things to the extremely new kid. "So, we have a new arrival. From, like, *really* elsewhere. And apparently the magic they have? Works *super* different from yours, mine, or Sharpsong-chan's. Say hello to Bow-san, and the crystal is Crystal Hope. They um... need a *housing* for that rock on Bow-san's chest, so magic doesn't go haywire for them."

Important information out of the way, the be-glassed girl ponders something for a moment, shrugs to herself. "Nicomachea? Standby, please."

<< *BONG!* >> << CONFIRMED, >> says the book, and for a brief moment Rashmi glows bright yellow... then the light shatters into self-disintegrating shards, leaving her in her street clothes. "Things are gonna take a *lot* of getting used to, if what I've heard about your world is true. I'm Rashmi Terios."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
As Bow gets shocked awake, Nurse Meiou casually stands up and steps over...so his view will likely get dominated by a closeup of a pretty nurse.

One who casually reaches out, grabs his chin and causally tilts his head this way and that as she inspects his pupils from fairly close, "Ah. Excellent. You're awake. Pupil response is good. Pulse is still steady..."

As there's a knock on the door, said Nurse doesn't even look away, instead she reaches out and snaps her fingers in the direction of the door...which unlocks itself and opens up for Koji.

Back at the unsteady patient, Nurse Meiou is holding a pen up in front of his face, "Follow this with your eyes, please."

After a few moments of moving said pen around and tracking eye movement she then steps back a touch and says, "Good. Good. Now say 'antidisestablishmentarianism'"

While the young man is stumbling over that, she flicks a penlight over to shine into his mouth, then nods and steps away again back to the counter nearby.

Koji Silvia has posed:
There is a long pause from the only other boy in the room, head tilted slightly like an alleycat spotting something particularly interesting, causing the light in the room to do a diagonal cut across his glasses, obscuring almost entirely one eye.

The long and slightly tired exhale that comes from him is added to as he says, "I have to admit, this is the least strange thing that's happened this year."

Despite not entirely recognizing Sayaka in her henshin'd state, she is given a polite nod of the head in greeting, followed by a familiar if slightly rueful smile towards Nurse Setsuna, as Koji approaches the sheet-clinging Bow, and the first thing he does is hold his hand out, upside down. From seemingly thin air a white T-shirt and a set of running shorts appears and settles onto the edge of the bed, "Here. So you don't feel so exposed. My name is Koji Silvia. Normally..."

To which he shoots a slightly more annoyed look back to Rashmi...

"Normally I get introduced to new people in my other identity, but I suppose for every rule there's always an exception."

Despite all of this, he takes a moment to smile and look to Crystal Hope with a polite bow of the head, and then back down at the crystal on Bow's chest before saying, "So... are we looking at magic from small and annoying desperate otherworldly entities, magic as reincarnation from a long-gone civilization, magic housed in an artifact, or technology that may as well be magic? I've got a few kitbash projects on me in storage I could use, but it'd depend on what our new friends here need."

Bow has posed:
"If Adora attends this school as well, that would serve best." Crystal Hope agrees. "Also, I realized I said that his crystal will require a housing, but it is a raw crystal that I am using. If it could be shaped for a smoother texture, it would make the transition easier."

As Rashmi changes back into her civilian form, his eyes go wide for a moment. Only Adora could do that! "Whoa." he offers. "That. Is. So..." his eyes sparkle. "Awesome!" The weight of the situation is starting to come in on him, and he shakes his head. "I needed to close the portal. I don't know who those two people were, but if Horde Prime had secured the portal, we'd be swimming in Horde Bots right now. But if Adora's here... I'm not giving up hope. We're going to find a way back. We'll free Etheria!" he offers honestly, full of optimism. "But where are my clothes?"

Crystal Hope sighs, a crystalline noise from her. "I converted them to magic, so that you can survive on this planet. You'll be able to call back your gear. When you're ready. Rashmi has promised me that she will assist you. For now? I need to rest. I overworked myself." And she comes to settle on Bow's shoulder, changing into an earring and fitting itself to his lobe. "Ow! Hey." he starts to complain, when suddenly - Setsuna!

Grabbed by the chin, he makes a murfled sound, as the nurse starts her examination. Okay, this is different. Not bad different. Just different. His dark eyes track the pen as it moves around, and then... "What?" he asks in confusion.

"Antidisaseemble..."
"Antidishestablish..."
"Amidisstsantestablish..."
"Antidisestablishmentism!"

A sigh. "Whatever!" he finally manages, a flail of his arms as someone else ebters into the equation. But he has clothes! "Oh! Thankyouthankthankyou.." He pulls on the shirt, which is just large enough to cover his chest, and then he blinks a few times at the question. And of course, Crystal Hope would be asleep. "Magic as in my world has always had it until the Horde showed up?" he suggests. "But I assume uh." He holds up the crystal. "Artifact?" That seems to be a good guess as any.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
Sayaka just stands back while the nurse applies her skills (even if the weird keyword gets a raised eyebrow out of her, that was quite unexpected, and instead chooses to focus on Bow and Koji.

Speaking of the latter, Sayaka answers with a wave of her own. "Hello, Koji-san", she greets with jovial familiarity. "You got here just in time, Bow-san has woken up just now." She isn't really surprised at seeing him here. She knew he was magic ever since that discussion at the cafeteria.

Ula perks up when Crystal Hope mentions the henshin crystal could use to be smoother. "That would be something I can provide. I work on jewels by trade, shaping it into any desired cut will be quite easy." With explanation, she heads closer to the stone, lifting it out of Bow's hand while she examines it to get a feel for it.

And when Bow gets quite excited at the prospect of saving Etheria, Sayaka places a hand on his shoulder. "You can have our help too. Nobody here is keen on letting suffer if they know of it."

Though, with Rashmi going back to normal, Sayaka is the only one here in henshin, so she follows the example of the page mage.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Koji's grumpy look only gets a bright, charming smile in return. "Artifact, maybe magic-as-technology," she says. "He was chased out of the portal by killer robots, and all."

When Koji delivers Bow some clothes, she slips behind a handy divider curtain, to give the boy the privacy he'll eventually need. "Ula-chan, that would probably be *super* helpful, and yeah if we *can* get you back, we'll definitely want to help. Just... How do I put this. ...So, right now the world you're on is called Earth. It's *super* magical, but for some reason almost nobody *knows* that it is. And... lots of people from other worlds, other times, other dimensions... They've ended up landing here, usually by accident."

There's a short pause, and a long, rallying breath in. "...Far as I know, nobody's made it *off* here."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Moments later, Nurse Meiou returns with a stethoscope. She tugs the back of his shirt up and presses the diaphragm against the skin of his back.

Fortunately, she warmed it up to roughly body temperature first.

"Deep inhale." Shift "Exhale." Shift "Deep inhale." Shift "Exhale."

The stethescope is pulled out of her ears and left to hang as the nurse pulls out one of those little ear scope things. She shines it into one ear, then walks over and checks the other ear.

A quick trip back to her computer and some typing...then she steps back over to Bow's side, "She does have the right of it. We'll all do what we can to help when a way home for you gets found. In fact, I daresay this might work out quite well for you when the time comes. Why, sometimes I've seen as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

She then sighs at Rashmi's comments, "...unfortunately, Miss Terios over there does have the right of it. We're a bit at the bottom of some kind of universal magical hole at the moment.""

She gives the young man a slightly sad look and a shrug, "Still, while they work on your magical artifact, I've very nearly gotten things ready to get you a local identity forged. I just need two things. First: An alternate name to go by. We use first and last names here, and you may or may not want to go by 'Bow'."

She then pauses before brandishing a needle and syringe, "...and second, I need to get some blood drawn."

Koji Silvia has posed:
"Before you ask..." Koji says as he continues to consider his options, "No, you're not the first person to come here that has needed this, you won't be the last, and Miss Meiou is very good at her job when it comes to setting people up with a new life here on Earth."

It takes him a few more moments as he then nods to himself, and over on one of the small exam tables that has a kit of bandages and tape on it for sports injuries, he clears a space, and takes out a rather advanced looking smartphone. Holding it out over the empty spot, he concentrates and then what falls out looks like an older and careworn thing. It's the same rounded-corner rectangle of a smartphone that so many are familiar with, but the gorilla glass display is missing, and the guts of the device that are normally well hidden lay exposed, "One of my kohai in the Computer Club got clumsy and broke her phone last week... thankfully I found this at a scrap store. The screen was intact, the problem was the battery was shot. Should be perfect for an artifact to move in and make use of the space. I've already wiped it's internal storage, so no one's odd messages or pictures should pop up."

Smiling, he steps back to let Ula do her work now, and eventually goes to lean against the wall close by Rashmi and Sayaka, "I'm on the second floor in Boy's Row... as some people like to call it. We've got a few open singles still... and I guarantee that before the morning you're going to find a little envelope in your possession with the school logo and an appointment time for you. Not a lot happens here that the people in charge are not aware of. It's kind of the point of this school. Think of it as a sort of... magical safe haven."

Bow has posed:
The feel of Sayaka's hand on his shoulder is noted and Bow offers her a quick smile. "So, yeah. I'm Bow. Just Bow." he admits. "I'm an archer from where I'm from, and a member of the Etherian Maker Committee. So I'm used to working with tech. Magic... I grasp the concept of it? I mean, I didn't have a choice in the matter on that. Most of the Princesses where I'm from use magic. Teleporters. Water. Plants..." And then he pauses at Rashmi's comment.

"Whoa whoa. Minor correction!" he offers to her. "Those robots belong to Horde Prime. Not from our world. Intergalactic baddies. And... I'm glad they aren't here!" Yet. "Him and his cronies were trying on conquer Etheria and we ..." A pause and his eyes wibble slightly. "We weren't doing well."

And under the sheet and cloak he goes to slip on the shorts to go with the shirt. They're both slightly too large for him, but at least it's something to wear.

And Rashmi is giving him the run-down about Earth being some type of multiversal intergalactic roach motel - where you check in but you don't check out. Maybe more like Hotel California? Who knows for sure. There's a soft breath sucked in as he digests this info. And then he shakes his head. "Nope! Not giving up that easy. There's no reason for me to quit, it's only day one, and we haven't even gotten started on ideas yet! We'll just approach the issue, try differnt angles and..."

And then there's the mention of names, and he looks confused. "/First/ and /Last/ names?" he asks, eyes widening again as he almost vibrates with excitement. Two names are usually reserved for royalty, after all. Does this mean he's a Princess? Who cares! He's latching to it.

But there's a problem that rises up to announce itself. "Uh. What type of name? Like..." Oh dear. Here we go.

"I could be Bow Arrowstorm? Or maybe Bow Sureshot! Oh oh, what about Bow Nevermiss? Or Bow Bullseye! No no, I'd need a moustache to pull that off!" His eyes are bright as he starts to think of more names.

He might need help with this - even as he is being very malable for Setsuna to do her work on him - she might even draw some... "By Brightmoon, that's a big needle!" he yelps suddenly.

Nope, she doesn't get off that easy.

But it does make it easier for Ula to claim the gen fron his hands. It's about the size of his fist, and as Koji presents the phone, he ohs. "That looks like my tech pad!" And he's about to show it off, "Which is..." A pause, a glance at the gem, and he frowns. "...in there." Disappointed look offered, he sighs, as he listens to the offers on housing. "I mean, I'm used to sleeping in Castle Brightmoon, and I had twelve siblings, so I'm good with whatever..." he starts, before he frowns at the thought of the invitation. "I would like to explore things?" comes his question, a little shift in his seat. "I'm sure that the meeting is going to be okay, but if someone could show me around, when... well, things are settled? That'd be keen."

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Does that really apply in this case?" Sayaka asks Rashmi and Setsuna over the matter if nobody having left. "I thought that aliens were just physically stopped from leaving the planet, but Bow-san came here through a portal, he wouldn't be trying to reach space." Granted, he is still stuck here due to the lack of means to open a way back, but that's a different kind of worry.

Ula takes a look at the casing Koji offer. She is tempted to take that one too, to at least embellish it a little. Fitting this crystal in there goes against her aesthetic sense. Well, she can talk about it to Bow another time. Now, she has a task to do and so much to cut. "I will adapt it to that screen. Just give tomorrow and it will be done."

When Bow asks to be shown around the school, Sayaka raises her voice. "I am free tomorrow. Want to meet up before classes so I can show you around? I can wait for you in front of the dorm."

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
As Bow gets distracted by the technology, Nurse Meiou absently grabs his arm...and anyone watching will see her almost instantly tag a vein, draw a few CCs of blood, then remove the needle and wipe the spot with a swab.

To Bow, it probably feels like a grab, a light prick, then a swatch of chill.

She then steps back to her computer, squeezes a drop ont a strip of paper, examines the result, then puts the rest in a vial, stoppers it up and make some notes before putting it into a small sample fridge on the counter.

While she does so, she nods towards Sayaka, "Fair enough...but given some of the things I've heard about, something about local spacetime seems to be making it rather easier to get TO here than FROM here."

She shrugs, "Sadly, I don't have ANY of the equipment to in any way test that hypothesis."

A glance is given to the paper...and wahatever reaction she'd been waiting for seems to have happened, so she turns back to her computer. More typing is done, and she looks over at Bow, "...you'll want to avoid names that are too 'on the nose'. If I might suggest? 'Luke Armbruster'? 'Luke' means 'light-giver' in Attic Greek, and 'Armbruster' is German for a type of bowman."

Koji Silvia has posed:
Politely, towards Ula, Koji says, "If you need anything additional, let me know. I can go up and get the hardware from the Computer Club and adapt some of what you might need. I don't really know magical technology, but I'm pretty decent at repairing the conventional stuff."

He then looks to Sayaka and adds, "Interesting little friend you have there. And very useful"

As he snaps his phone shut to put it away, across the outer screen literally comes <<*Sigh*>>.

Ignoring his own partner Device's response to the compliment, he looks towards Bow and adds, "If you need a place to sleep tonight that's not here... I can put you up. Our dorm rooms are mostly set up for two, and since you said you had a big family, it sounds like you wouldn't have a problem. I can just crash on the floor for the night, or stay up and go out on patrol until morning..."

He trails off on that thought, and the looks at the others before he adds, "Listen, Bow... Luke... we don't know where you come from, so just be aware, this is one of the most densely populated places on our world. There is a lot here, of everything, including people. So no one will blame you for feeling overwhelmed or taking your time to get used to things. And... don't worry about trying to help us with our own troubles until you get your feet under you. Because there's so much magic here, it attracts equally bad things. That's where we all come in. We work together to try and keep it all from spilling over and hurting the people here who can't use magic or can't fight against it."

Pausing for a moment, he pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose with one finger, "If all you want to do is stay here, and try to figure a way home, no one will blame you. I promise."

Bow has posed:
It's going to take time to get things ready. Bow can respect that, and as Ula sets out a timeframe, he nods. "Okay. That's fine." he manages, a little more nervous energy. He's not yet overwhelmed, but there is a whole lot of information that he has to accept and it seems like it's going to take time for him to adapt to it. And accept the cold truth that he's going to be here for the long run. He maybe never get home. And help his friends. Seperated from the others, especially his best friend. Glimmer. A sigh escapes from him.

And he focuses on what he can address. As Sayaka offers her assistance to show him around, he nods. "Sounds good! I would like that. It seems like you're going to be carrying me around this time metaphorically, Sayaka. Which is probably better than physically!" That said cheerfully, there's a slight yelp when Sayaka's distraction along with the tech gives Setsuna the opening she needs to draw his blood.

Which really was not so bad. She gets the blood she wanted, and listens to what she's saying, biting his lower lip in thought. "Etheria had these ley lines that criss-crosseed the planet - where they intersected was a pretty powerful magic place. Maybe there is similar here that we can take advantage of. I mean, if Adora wants to help!" After all, Rashmi said at the beginning of this. Adora's run her story to the end. Would she be willing to return to an unknown point of time and do it again? Of course she will! She's part of the Best Friends Squad, after all!

But now that there is talk of a name, and his attention turns to Setsuna again. "Greek? German? Oh! I know what an attic is!" Not what she meant, but, "...if that is a common naming convention, I'll accept it! I trust your judgememt, Miss Setsuna."

And then his attention is turning to Koji. "Does everyone here have ... familiars like that?" Mascots, but he's using the name he knows best. "I do not want to inconvience anyone..." he offers to Koji's offer, unsure of what he's going to do. Not being in the infirmary is a good idea. He draws in a breath. "No, I'm used to sleeping outdoors. I can sleep on the floor." he offers politely. And then, Koji's offering his pitch.

And he listens to it all. He draws his legs up, knees to his chest. Two nights ago, he was sleeping in the ruins of a castle under siege. Now, population? So many people. Bright lights. Strange things and sounds. But, there is one thing that remains the same. "Etheria. Earth. It doesn't matter." he offers, in response. "If there are those that are in trouble. Those that cannot defend themselves. Those that need help... then, if they need that help? I'm the archer that's going to help them!" comes his words, the fires of desired justice igniting in his eyes as he makes two fists. "I may be here on Earth with you, now, but in my mind, I have just totally recruited you all into the Rebellion to free Etheria!" Someday.

But when he says that, the Crystal Hope gem on his ear suddenly flickers and broadcasts a holo-video. One from Etheria. Of Bow making his own recruitment pitch.

Sayaka Miki has posed:
"Yes, Ula is very dependable", Sayaka smiles at Koji. "She has been through a lot with me, and I couldn't have asked for a better companion after Kyubey had been revealed to be trying to keep me separated from Madoka." Though, that really isn't a high bar to clear, and it's not even the worst of Kyubey's treacheries by a mile, Sayaka thinks over her words.

Sayaka blushes a little as she rubs the back of her head. "Oh, you noticed that? It was nothing really. You didn't bother me any, and you won't bother me tomorrow", she reassures him with a grin.

And then there is the video Crystal Hope transmits. Wait, was that horse Swiftwind? How come he is so much larger? That will be something she will have to ask Adora, but that's a minor detail as Sayaka isn't sure whether to chuckle or smile at the endearing moments. Bow looks like such a fun and upstanding person in it.

That was totally a different impression than the one she got of Etheria from his words earlier. It's such a happy place. Or was, she realises with a slight frown. They will totally have to help him, there is no other choice.

"You three look so close-knit", Sayaka tells Bow. "I imagine you are really happy to be reunited with Adora. Now that you have found her, things will manage to turn out better for Etheria, I am sure of it, and my sword is at your service too."

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Now that Bow is dressed, Rashmi slips back into visibility, nodding unhappily in agreement with her friends' cautions. "We'll do everything we can to help you," she repeats firmly, nodding. "And if we figure out a way to get you back there... absolutely. Until then, well... Welcome to the city of Tokyo, Luke-san!"

Then she falls silent, in the face of his Grand Resolve. Koji can see it in her eyes; his Justice Speech is *seriously impressive,* and the sincerity behind it doubly so.

...Then he plays the video he made. ... ...*He makes videos.* Call-to-action ones, even, and she goes from being impressed to fighting to hold laughter back behind a smile. "...Y'know, I'm pretty sure you're gonna fit in *well* here."

Shaking her head, she looks up at Setsuna, eyebrows rising. "Got everything you need out of him, Setsuchan?"

Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Nurse Meiou watches the video a little, glancing over from time to time as she finalizes some documents...then she hits a final button and a small box across the room starts making noise before spitting out some papers after a few moments.

Then she just turns and walks through a small door in the corner and disappears into whatever room for a good few minutes more.

The sound of rummaging around can be heard, and eventually she walks out with a small shoulder bag in hand.

Papers are retrieved from the printer and she walks over to Bow.

The bag is handed to him and she opens each of it's major compartments to show him, "Okay, your preliminary documents are in here. They'll do for now. Your 'official' ones will be here in a day or two and I'll have them delivered."

The other main pocket is revealed, "This is a very basic laptop computer. It can't really do much beyond connect to the internet and a few other minor things...but for you now, the Internet is going to be enough, since it basically represents almost the sum total of all human knowledge."

There's a pause, then she goes on, "...and cute pictures of cats."

"LOTS of cute pictures of cats."

"Look, don't feel bad when you realize you've lost the last few hours looking at cute pictures of cats...the serotonin hit is good for you anyway."

A shake of her head, "There's a wireless pointing device to navigate the interface and a charger in this other pocket. Don't worry about taking them...they're so basic the school literally gives them out to students for free."

She nods towards Koji, "I suggest you take Mister Silvia up on his offer...and I suggest you take a day or two to acclimate yourself to your new surroundings before doing anything major. I'd also suggest taking Miss Miki up on her offer, as having a guide can REALLY smooth things over."

Information passed on, the nurse takes a moment to give a back cracking stretch...then she turns and starts straightening up the counters, "That all being said, I'm going to clean up a little then I want to go home...there's a cheese danish with my name on it and I'd like to have some before my housemates get to it."

Koji Silvia has posed:
While Setsuna has been doing her work, Koji has taken 'Hanzo' out and has then begin typing things into his flip-open phone at a rapid pace. Once the laptop has been settled into his grip, he taps a button and then gives an affirmative nod, "I've set you up on the school e-mail system, as Luke Armbruster. That way Sayaka can contact you from her phone through the school's e-mail and chat systems to get together for your tour. A map of the school is in the e-mail for you to look at, and I'll show you HOW to look at it once we get to my room. I'm pretty sure my roommate will be alright with you crashing for a single night. He's a pretty forgiving guy these days."

But he does turn and gives a respectful bow to Setsuna, "Thank you for your impeccable help as always, Miss Meiou-sama."

Once more, 'Hanzo' is put away, but not before a -_- emoji runs across the screen being chased by a nyan, "Rashmi, I would like to ask that you bring him a few things to help him get really settled. A figure a nice spread of your father's food will help him after a day of seeing all the weird. If he's already moved and moved in, I'll let you know what dorm room."

All that said, he motions with one his free hand, "C'mon. It's not far to the dorms, and if you're hungry one thing I can guarantee is I have a whole hoard of snacks. We Etherian Rebels need to keep up our energy, right?"

Bow has posed:
Kyubey? Madoka? Names to be filed away and asked about later by Bow. "I mean, you and Rashmi were the nearest to me when I passed out and you were both here when I woke up, so I assumed it was one of you." So he guessed, and apparently guessed correctly judging by Sayaka's reaction.

He nods at Sayaka. "I will be better once I see her. Even if she's not the Adora I know, she is an Adora..." And he has hope. Because with Hope. Resolve. And a big-ass sword and a tech guy? They'll get home, rescue Glimmer and drive the Horde off Etheria! And maybe help Catra too. She's so Kyoote.

Then Sayaka is offering her service as well and he smiles brightly at her, his eyes lighting up with delight. Sparkles! "I'm honored to have you with me, Sayaka!" he chirps happily. "Every rebuilding of the rebellion starts with the first steps and first recruits to stand up against the Horde..." Pause. Blank look. "...hordes?" Ugh, that sucked.

"And I will help with what I can here! It is the best way to return the favor and the companionship you have offered me. In my time of need, I am glad that while we have met as strangers, that we shall part as friends and comrades-in-arms!"

Rashmi is telling him he'll fit in well here, which bolsters his spirits further as he gives a little firstpump of excitement. "I hope so, with my new allies and adventures!" And then Setsuna is setting him up with things, and he's gathering the papers and listening to the briefing. And as she explains the internet and cats, his eyes get wider and wider. "I-I will have to check this for myself!"

But there is all this talk of disguising himself. And taking Koji and Sayaka up on their offers. "Do people address each other by their last names?" he asks, apparently catching onto that from Setsuna, before. "Oh. I'm sorry! Yes. Of course!" He didn't realize he had taken her from her day.

Basic adventurer's load got!

But with things winding down, his attention turning to Sayaka. "I will see you tomorrow then. For the tour and the... device?" He wants to make sure he understands that well.

And finally, a look around, "Thank you. All of you. I... appreciate it." But with that, he's getting the information from Koji, the final set up and integration. The mention of food perks him up, but at the same time, he's exhausted and Koji's idea of rest is strong. "Yes. This sounds great. May you all have pleasant sleep!" And with that, he's moving to follow Koji.
