1304/The Trackster

The Trackster

Synopsis:	Hawk Moth turns a Track Star into the Trackster! Can heroes stop him!? Of course they can, bur they better be quick...!

Gabriel Agreste has posed:
The window opens in Gabriel's Penthouse, as he stands in his butterfly pavilion. He can hear the negative thoughts already, poriing into the butterfly miraculous. "Dark Wings, Rise!" he commands as energy forms up his form, turning into Hawk Moth. He draws a butterfly towards his hand as he imbues it with dark energy. "Go my little Akuma, and evilize that track star's heart!" he commands.

The Akuma flies through an opening in the pavilion and the window closes, leaving Hawk Moth in the dark with his butterflies.

Kaito Tanaka was an up and coming track star. But he sprained his leg yesterday. Sitting with crutches on the bench as he attends the track meet. He can't race. He feels bad, until the Akuma flutters into his track shoes, and almost instantly, a butterfly shaped mask appears over him. "Trackster!" says Hawk Moth. "I am Hawk Moth. I can fix your leg and make you the fastest thing alive! In turn, I want you to draw out Ladybug and Cat Noir...and bring me their Miraculous!" he says as he clenches his fist.

Kaito gasps. "Of Course, Hawk Moth!" he goes, as dark energy takes over his form, transforming him into a sleek body suit with a helmet, and shoes with wings on he YAHOOS! and then starts racing around willy nilly. Papers go flying. He makes the otber trak stars spin as he raves by them, hopping the hurdles like nothing.

"YEAH!" goes Trackster. "NO ONE CAN BEAT ME NOW!" he yells as he kicks a hurdle towards one of the other kids!

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has posed:
Marinette had been wondering around the school. She has been trying to explore Tokyo of late. Trying to learn the big city from the bottom up so she wouldn't get lost so easy. Today her legs have carried her by the Sports pavilion on her way toward the front gates of the school. That's when some kids start racing out of the pavilion. She quickly asks one of the fleeing students what's going on. The answer was really short. A Monster. That's all she could get out of the person before they rushed away.

Marinette quickly raced away from the place, joining the fearful children in fleeing from the sports pavilion. She, however had a different idea in mind. She ducked into an empty school room and quickly opened her purse. "Come on Tikki" The red Kwami with black spots flies out quickly and nods to Marinette. "Tikki, Spots on!" The transformation is immediate. The girl is rapidly in her magic costume(That is definitely not Pajamas!). From there Ladybug is on the loose!

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Adrien Agreste had been off practicing his own sport. While watching the track meet was something he had considered, he ended up chatting on the phone outside of it for a few moments when things apparently started going crazy. His attention is stolen away as he moves closer to the bleachers surrounding the track to peer between and catch sight of Trackster. "--Sorry something came up, I have to go real quick. Call you back later!"

Clicking his phone shut he sighs. "You up for this Plagg? It's been awhile since Hawkmoth has been active. I hope this isn't some new plan of his."

"Either way we still have to take care of it," Plagg points out as he floats up near Adrien's head to peek over at the track too. "At least we're in a good spot to change quick! Come on!"

"You're right. Plagg, Claws Out!"

The transformation is quick as usual. Though perhaps not *as* quick as a few speedsters that were already there, Cat Noir appears leaping into the middle of the track. Where he steps over toward the apparent coach holding one clawed hand out. "Could I borrow your whistle, pretty please? I think it's time we called this race over."

Which is why there's a sharp, piercing whistle a moment later. Cat Noir blows on the whistle lifting one hand over head to wave. "Heeey nice job, why don't you hit the benches?"

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
The long distance run is one of the first events to start - but it's one of the last events to end. Yuuto Shiraishi had left a while back, and now, with the runners coming back towards the main course, he's up with the lead group, the four of them jockeying for the three positions that will be open to advance to the finals.

It's just as this group is coming onto the track that the Trackster makes his presence known, and it's one of those four that the hurdle is kicked towards!

And while Yuuto is able to get out of the way, the teen can see the threat and is now faced with a choice - he can try to finish the race... or he can try to help out the competitor that was knocked down and try to stop the Trackster.

There's a grunt and then - he pulls out of the competition to help the other person up. "Let's get you to safety!"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco is here due to a promise she had made to her boyfriend. Namely, she had been intenting to start cheerleading for him at track meetings. It... has not been easy to make the club accept her sudden addition and the fact she would only be here for track, but between the fact she is already very fit, and choreographies being her bread and butter, she was eventually able to make her entrance into the group.

And that's how she is here in the cheerleader uniform, taking part in the activity with the rest of the girls, and her words are all for cheering Yuuto on. When Trackster shows up though and starts acting scary and interfering with the track, Coco quickly leaves her post, and dives behind a set of bleachers.

The shell locket opens as she brings her hands around it in a curved x to channel the melodious magic of the seven seas is. "Yellow Pearl Voice!" she declares, the pearl in her shell locket responding to her will and starting to shine with a yellow light.

A kaleidoscope of colours covers Coco's clothes as those change into her yellow gloves and boots with flowy extensions, as well as a yellow blouse with a yellow skirt, while her pearl expands into her trusty E-Pitch microphone, its blue shape settling comfily into her hand, the jewel nestled safely in the head's center.

After rushing out, Coco exclaims "Legend of Mermaid: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!", her purifying voice singing of a nostalgic melody, with stars that like pearls start releasing a wondrous light, a miracle filled adventure like the kind mother wishes for everyone in her heart.

Gabriel Agreste has posed:
Hawk Moth has a plan, but it's always the same. Get the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous. Bring back his wife. At least for right now. He's gonna have to change plans eventually, but right now it seems same old//same old.

The Trackster places his hands to his hips as he laughs at the whistle, Cat Noir having his attention as he shakes a leg and says. "Let's see how quick you are, kitten!?" The Trackster says as he races towards the whistling cat, trying to tackle him with a long jump through the air.

He looks to the arriving Ladybug and ha!s. "Two of them. Perfect. I'll be faster than ever now, no one can stop me!" he says as purfying singing tingles his ears. "What's that racket!?" The Trackster says as he plugs his ears with two fingers.

Yuuto is able to get people to safety with The Trackster now distracted!

"Yes. Trackster! Get them!" urges Hawk Moth into Kaito's, 'The Trackster's'. mind from afar.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has posed:
The arrival of Ladybug is very quick as she was just a building away. She comes swinging in and lands beside Cat Noir. With a quick motion, she uses her yo-yo in an attempt to wrap up Trackster's feet. "Hey Kitty. Thanks for waiting." She comments to Cat Noir as she keeps her eyes on the Trackster. "Looks like a Track runner? I think?" She comments as she watches the events transpire.

Her attention goes to Coco who she gives a wave to. Then it shifts to Yuuto getting people out of there. Thats a good thing. Less people for the Trackster to do anything to.

She turns her attention back to Trackster. "Lets split up, give this Akuma multiple targets." She quickly throws her yo-yo and pulls herself off the ground and into the air.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Yuuto continues to work to help others off the field that need it. Not that they need much prompting anymore. With the attacks happening, they're realizing that it may be time to go! As he hears Coco's voice, the teenager glances over and gives Yellow Voice a bright smile, and a wave to let her know that he's okay.

And his attention returns back to the evacuation, to make sure that everyone else gets off the field. Only after that is done will he finally join the fight. But for the moment, it seems that Ladybug and Cat Noir have it handled.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Gone are the days Coco has to rely on people hearing her music to do anything, so she isn't very worried or inconvenienced when the Tracksters block his ears with his fingers. Instead her song manifests another Live Stage identical to the one she is in, except this one doesn't stay put.

Instead she "fires" the sphere of white light like an oversized bullet towards the athlete, except instead of hurting him it is about to take him inside itself. If it does, it's going to stop him from escaping out of itself until he breaks out of it. A prison of pure white light.

She is currently busy singing, but she does notice Ladybug's wave, so she does the same in response. Yuuto instead gets a bright ardent smile of support.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir flashes a quick grin as his partner joins him. "Hey Lady--" he begins only to find himself nearly plowed down by the racing Trackster. With a yelp he leaps into the air forced into a forward flip overtop the Akumatized racer. Landing in a skid he braces one hand against the ground to half-turn back toward the opponent. "Right, yes, definitely a track runner. Where do you think the Akuma is---Right split up," he mumbles watching as Ladybug takes off immediately after.

The other speedster helping remove people is met with a wave, and he gives a thumbsup to the singing mermaid he'd run across before.

"Either of you happen to see what might have caused him to be posessed by chance?" It was worth a shot as he's busy doubling back and away from the Trackster while bringing his staff out to fight should he find himself charged again.

Gabriel Agreste has posed:
The Trackster's shoes glow a moment as he charges Cat Noir again, shouting. "Give me your Miraculous! Both of you!" he says. "This will be over very quick, don't worry!" says The Trackster as he tries to race kick into the staff, facing down the cat as he starts to throw super sonic punches towards him , hands moving faster than one can see.

He then turns towards Ladybug. He looks between the two quickly with head turns as he starts spinning in place., making a wind tornado, trying to pull them in towards him.

"Heh, Guess I'm the one that 'sucks' now, ha!" he says, trying to pun, but coming off on poor on him.

Hawk Math groans and facepalms somewhere in his Butterfly pavilion. "That was horrible!" he says. "End this, Trackster!" he commands.

Yellow Peael Voice's bright ball hit him however, as he spins, causing him to be smacked backwards and ending the tornado. Seems he can't take a good hit.

"Hey, quit it, nerd!" the Trackster yells back at Yellow Pearl Voice.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has posed:
As the track shoes light up, they get Ladybug's attention. She smirks and nods. "Cat Noir its in his..." She shouts right before the Trackster makes a rush towards Cat Noir. Quickly she looks toward a hurdle. She throws her yo-yo and wraps it around the hurdle. Then with a quick motion she pulls back, throwing the hurdle at Trackster.

Then the speedster gets the idea to form a wind tornado. Ladybug starts getting pulled into the tornado as she looks for a way out. She quickly throws her yo-yo and wraps it around a light post. Holding on she reaches out to grab Cat Noir by the arm.

Once the attack stops and his attention is shifted to Yellow Pearl Voice, she looks at Cat Noir. "His shoes glowed before he attacked you. That must be where the Akuma is." She quickly calls out, "LUCKY CHARM!!" What appears is a whistle.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Continuing the collection of the last of the stragglers, finally Yuuto is able to get into a position where he goes behind the bleachers, as he henshins into his Steam Sentinels' form. Once that's done, Steam Sentinel Propel comes out, heading for the track...

...but as it seems that Cat Noir and Ladybug are working really well in concert, his attention turns to Yellow Voice, the young hero going over to make sure she remains safe as he watches, willing to help if it's needed, on standby for now.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco stops singing for a moment to reply to Cat Noir. "I think he was upset with being last, possibly? He certainly wasn't anywhere near the other contestants both in terms of position and skill."

"Besides me not qualifying as a nerd, the Pikarigaoka Science and Natural History Museum has just told me they want you to donate your insults", the Idol of the Yellow Pearl replies to the Trackster. What connection is there between singing and being a nerd. He probably just said the first thing that came to mind. "Your imagination is terrible, too."

But now he isn't blocking his ears anymore, so her best talent is back in full swing. "Who is ready for an encore? Ever Blue: Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!" she declares, the soundtrack from the Live Stage changing with Coco's new song.

The mermaid princess sings softly of the feeling she gets that on the other side of the seven seas, someone is crying, squeezing her heart and causing her loneliness. But she embraces the guidance of the stars in her heart, the destiny of the ever blue sparkle of the ocean she loves calling to her and letting her gather the power to protect the future in her hands.

As the melody expresses her feelings of cherishment towards her friends and the mysterious blueness of the ocean, prettier than heaven, she sings for the purification of darkness and the disappearance of evil.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir leaps away using his staff to help propel him further to make up for his lack of speed. It wasn't that he wasn't fast to begin with, it's that this guy was *really* fast and coming at him hot and heavy!

When the wind picks up he finds his heels digging into the ground as he's pulled back, trying to hold on as much as he can. The staff is stuck into the ground until he finds his fingers slipping. Just in time at least for Ladybug to reach out for him.

Quickly grabbing hold of her hand he holds on further until the wind stops thanks to Yellow Pearl Voice's interference.

"Shoes? Got it!" He agrees with a quick nod. With a target in mind he lets to of Ladybug's hand at the last moment so that the wind DOES pull him in toward Trackster. It's just enough OOMPH for him to spin forward, racing toward the dying wind and the distracted Akuma. Racing toward him now he holds his hand out with a cry of, "Cataclysm!"

And then he leans backward into a baseball-slide skid trying to pass by Trackster with his hand slashing out in passing to rake the side of the shoes.

Gabriel Agreste has posed:
The Trackster tries to quickly race at Ladybug now, moving in to attack her and her whistle. Hopefully be something can be done. In the meantime he's slowing down a little thanks to Coco's song. The Trackster trying to push through the purification song as he races towards the spotted and red hero...!

When Cat Noir slides past him, raking at his shoes as he trips and smashes into the dirt, his shoes, gone! The Akuma, the butterfly, appearing and starting to fly off.

The Trackster on the ground turns back into Kaito who rubs his head. "Owww." goes Kaito. "W..ht was that about?" he asks as he rubs his head.

Hawk Moth frowns and slams his cane down in front of him, butterflies fly around him. "Failed again." he says lowly.

"Maybe I need better helpers." he says, stroking his chin.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has posed:
Ladybug quickly jumps out of the way of the on-coming Trackster. Then out comes the Akuma. "Awesome work Cat Noir!" She exclaims as she rapidly throws her yo-yo at the Akuma, catching it. "No more evil doing for you little Akuma!" She twirls her yo-yo around before releasing a pure white butterfly. "Bye-bye little butterfly."

She looks at the lucky charm curiously. "Then what is..." She trails off. She quickly blows the red and black whistle. "Hey remember, even though you are hurt doesn't mean you are any less part of the team. You will recover soon and be running again soon enough!" She exclaims trying to encourage the former Trackster. "And you don't need super powers to do that!" She smiles and walks over to Cat Noir. Quickly she throws the whistle into the air. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" The ladybugs go flying undoing all damage to the sports pavilion and making everything just the way it was.

Then with a smile she holds up her fist to Cat Noir and to Yellow Pearl Voice and gives a bright smile as she says, "Pound it!"

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir comes out of his slide into a crouch looking back at the Trackster, Ladybug, and Yellow Pearl Voice up on her stage. The Akuma is out of the shoes which makes for easy catching so he lets out a sigh of relief.

Standing up straight again he reclaims his staff with a quick flick of his wrist. He's up and back over by the time the purification is done, and offers his fist out in turn. "Pound it!" A quick flash at the familiarity of the event creeps over him. It had been awhile since he properly stretched his figurative claws.

"Thanks for the help there, Yellow," he offers out. "I should probably be heading off though. Time limit and all."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Just like the other times, Ladybug and Cat Noir know best how to deal with the Akumas Hawk Moth produces, and soon enough the guy is back to normal. "Cheer up", Coco smiles as her Live Stage dissolves and her feet touch the ground, trying to add to Ladybug's encouragement. "Your time will come too, ok? As long as you keep believing in your dream, it will blossom."

She then looks at the other two heroes, repeating that "Pound it" in response to them even if she doesn't really understand the significance. "Glad I could lend a hand, and thanks for saving him."

She should probably go too. Find a decent excuse for Coco's disappearance from the squad. Nevermind that the bleachers won't work for transforming back now she is out in the open.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng has posed:
Ladybug smiles, "I need to run too. Clock is ticking!" She smiles and the spots on her earrings are slowly disappearing. She smiles and waves before throwing her yo-yo upward and swinging away. She circles around the sports Pavilions and into the adjacent building. She rushes into the room she had changed into just a bit ago. "Tikki Spots off!" She states and immediately powers down. Tikki goes into her purse and starts eating a macaron.
