Mamoru Chiba has posed:
It's a while after Rashmi left, and Naru's nearby somewhere -- probably getting more coffee. There's been a concerted effort to make sure Mamoru's not alone, since he's not actually currently capable of using his phone, and also, he's powerless in a public hospital while Beryl is looking for him.

Good times, good times.

At the moment, his hospital bed's inclined about thirty degrees and he's looking at the ceiling by the wall, expressionless and unfocused, even if his glasses are on his face. His right hand's mummified into practically a mitten-ball, and his left arm and left shoulder are bandaged extensively, and there are bandages on his chin and cheek. He otherwise looks a little bit puffy and sunburnt.

There's a bear on the windowsill wearing a tuxedo and a felt cat-eye mask, and the window is open a bit on the other side -- open just enough for a magical cat to slip in and out, as it happens.

Bow has posed:
One shift ends, another one begins.

Bow is not a fan of Earth hospitals. The healing - when assisted by others (like Mamoru, just a few days ago) is great and reminds him of home. But everything else, the sterility, the medical smells, the dampening feel that they seem to have that does nothing to encourage healing? They all suck. And he's not a fan.

1 out of 4 stars, do not recommend for anything other than a bug bite.

So once the message went out that Mamoru was here, he recognizes the bitter irony for what it is. Mamoru came in and healed him up in a jiffy - within 20 minutes, he was nearly right as rain (on your wedding day, since we're being ironic, don't you think?).

And now, Bow can't do anything but be good company. There's a gentle tap on the door before he opens it up to peek within. He doesn't say anything, just checking to see if Mamoru is awake before he enters.

Since no, he can't climb in and out windows. Well. He could.

It'd just be weird.

Koji Silvia has posed:
When he first got the text he was angry... and wanted to immediately drive a truck spraypainted with 'Love & Justice' through the front entrance of Obsidian HQ.

But Koji Silvia does not know how to drive yet, nor does he have a permit.

Then he wanted to track down the person responsible for this.

But Koji Silvia does not know who did it, when or how, and has not pressed anyone for information.

If anyone had been in the shared room, there would have been some inventive wordplay, perhaps something expensive being torn apart with a manic precision, and then followed with a soothing cup of tea before the next bout of litanies of revenge and soldering.

So he got dressed in his nicest suit, the one he got for prom. He took a thing from Mamoru's closet, and then was off to FamMart before coming to the hospital.

He's not Bow. He doesn't peek. He just opens the darned door and walks right inside. What's set down on the side of the bed is the 3-tier bento that Mamoru was given for Christmas. Inside is a layered set-up of wrapped and sweet snacks. Stepping away from it, he just turns and looks down at his friend and roommate, and the angle of reflection from the lights covers his eyes completely behind his glasses.

Which is a good thing, because if looks could kill, he'd have Nanoha'd the wall, the wall past it, and the building on the other side of the building.

Chiyo Sakai has posed:
"Oh no you don't, Koji. I know you've got snacks in that."

Chiyo may have been taking up the rear position behind Bow, and Koji, in that she comes in last--But she had seen Koji duck into the room with that large bento case. The stories of the Ramen Dorm were well known even on the girls side so she rather suspects exactly what he's up to.

As she steps into the room she turns to shut the door behind her. Not locked, but certainly so that no random passerbys would be able to hear the conversation within. There's really nothing special about what she's wearing but she did have a large bag slung over her shoulder that looked like it could hide, say, a large thermos and bento box or two of her own.

Look she came prepared, okay?

Seeing Bow here she flashes a tired smile. "You were hurt too recently weren't you? How are you doing? I brought some of the good stuff with me," she remarks patting her bag as she moves to the OTHER side of Mamo's bed.

"Hey."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
It's carefully that Mamoru turns his head -- the burns on his shoulder and the ones on his chin get unhappy when he pulls at them overmuch -- to see who's coming in, and he musters up a smile. "Bow-kun. Koji-kun. Chiyo-chan," he says by way of greeting. His voice is a little flat, but the medication is over half-time on when he can get another dose. "Don't be mad at me, I didn't provoke her at all."

A beat. He protests defensively, "I can eat snacks, I just can't-- I can't hold them in my hands," and his face burns a little differently now. It's with a studied lack of anger and a desperate stranglehold on his dignity that he says, "I can't-- I can't use my hands right now."

Someone else texting for him. Nurses and friends having to feed him, hold his water for him.

The monitor shows his heart rate up a little bit, and he closes his eyes and sighs. "Anko visits at night and sleeps on my feet. She's a good girl. She said she appreciates you keeping her in salmon."

Bow has posed:
Bow is quickly passed by Hurricane Koji as he comes barging in. "I don't think he's supposed to have--!" but Chiyo beats him too it on the chiding with the snacks as the Etherian looks to the other two for a moment. "I just wanted to check on you and spend a little time, I mean, I can't do the healing thing, but I brought my violin. I was just at band practice before..."

And then Chiyo's speaking to him and he offers a nod of his head. "I'm better now, thanks to Mamoru. Still... unsure of what I'm going to do, but nowhere near as dire as he is." And he actually feels bad about his issues, as he finally makes his way into the room to find a place to settle in.

"But if this is too much, I can come back, or you know, just wait for him to return to school." He doesn't want to be underfoot and in the way of those that can actually help.

Koji Silvia has posed:
Koji puts a hand on the bento before Chiyo can take it away, "This isn't for Mamoru. It's for Usagi. She sometimes forgets to eat when she's absorbed in things, and this will at least keep her from pacing and worrying."

He sighs and then moves back and leans with his back to the wall so he can continue to look at everyone, but the light is still blocking his expression as he takes a deep breath, "I promised myself not to ask certain things while you're here. You don't need the stress or expectations to worry about. Just get better. And if your Shitennou get too clingy or snarly about things, let me know. I'll straighten them out."

Doesn't matter that collectively they outclass him by DEGREES, or that they have every RIGHT to be the avenging hand of the Prince of Earth. Something in that tone says he'd kick down Beryl's office door and pull her hair if he had to.

Bow is given a nod and then he adds, "Sorry I haven't been around as much after the camping trip, Bow. I'm glad you're here. They say the positive energy of loved ones help you heal, and you shine with positivity more than most of us."

Chiyo Sakai has posed:
Chiyo Sakai looks to Mamoru with a little wince when he gets upset over the snacks. She reaches for a chair to tug closer to the bed with a squeak so that she can place her own bag down to let the sides fall away from the boxes in there. "I know you can. I just meant you shouldn't fill up on the non-healing sort when I have some right here." Her hand pats the top of it. "Though my healing was never as good as yours to begin with." It's something at least.

"If you still need some healing too, Bow, I do have plenty with me. Though you're right, Usagi should be taken care of too," she admits to Koji with a nod.

The first thing she pulls from her bag is a little thermos that she unscrews the top to, and pulls out a straw for. "I heard your hand was pretty injured along with the rest of you. I tried to make things that would be easy to eat and digest without causing any further trouble. Some new recipes," she explains. "This is a tropical aloe juice drink if you want to try."

She knew she would likely have to help but she doesn't just start force feeding him or anything. Instead she watches Mamoru with a bit of worry but waits for his decision on it.

"I think music is always a good idea, Bow."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Get ready for it. Ready....

Mamoru starts to laugh, then flinches and grimaces, but he's still wanting to laugh. Instead he says out loud, "Oh my god, LOL, you play a violin and your name is Bow, oh my god--"

His head stays where it is, but that's definitely someone who shouldn't be laughing, laughing. He breathes. He calms himself down, he breathes. "I'd love to hear it," he finally says, "but I don't want to take away from it with talking. So in a few minutes maybe?"

A glance at Koji, and Mamoru looks affectionate. "You're always too hard on yourself. Coordinate with Usa, she's going to be putting together the mob with pitchforks. And thank you for bringing the snacks for her, she'll be very, very pleased. The vending machines here are apparently terrible, though Naru-chan likes the coffee. If you want to ask me anything, you can go ahead and ask-- and thanks."

Then he looks at Chiyo and-- he looks grateful. A little nod, and he starts to lift his head, but it pulls too much at his shoulder, so he... doesn't. "I'd love to try it. And does this mean I get to eat a lot of wagashi?" His Highness is ready to sip, it seems.

Bow has posed:
"Violin and lute, thank you very much. Though I don't sing. That was more a Sea Hawk thing. And mainly shanties." Bow admits with a thoughtful look, having absolutely no issue with the laughter, though he does nod with the request that he wait a bit. "Figured I'd wait until you were ready to go to sleep. Better than any medicine for that."

"Can't have a good mob without torches too... though I think that might be a bad idea in this case. Fire buckets? Sand? Water? Something like that." he waves his hand. "I'll probably be on the sidelines cheering everyone on." he manages.

"I'm good, Chiyo, thank you." A smile passed to her quickly as he leans back. "My dads were very on port with naming me. An archer with the affinity for the violin who enjoys surprise presents... not so much being surprised by my Queen suddenly being here as well." But that's for another time.

Koji Silvia has posed:
Unable to help himself, "It could be worse, they could have named you String, Bow."

Koji shrugs, but then watches Chiyo get her game face on and start pulling out her famous mahou sweets and treats. He turns his head to look to one side, and out the small and slightly open window, one of his careworn eyes showing a lack of sleep to it, or some other crinkle along the edges, "Okay fine... question. You chickened out on it last year, so I'll ask you this time. Beach or Forest."

A beat.

"For summer break. Beaches and girls in swimsuits, or hauling your retinue up into the woods for fishing and a hot spring."

Chiyo Sakai has posed:
"Beach." This is from Chiyo who is offering her own vote on that, because right now she really didn't think trekking through the forest was going to be high on Mamoru's list. She could be wrong.

"Here, I can adjust your bed up some if it helps," she offers gesturing to the controls for the bed. Unless he says otherwise at least. Either way once he's as situated as he'll get she steps in to bring the straw up to his lips while holding the thermos in hand.

"So much wagashi. I reached out to Sukiyaki, too, and he said he'll see about getting you some soups. I wasn't sure how badly you were injured so I suggested things with lots of broth at the very least." Fluids, surely that wasn't going to be bad?

"I made some red bean and mochi soup myself. I'm sure you'll be tired of soft foods soon enough but for now I wanted to play it safe."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Then when I'm ready to go to sleep," approves Mamoru easily. "I get tired fast." He pauses. "Jolly Roger, right? The pirate girl? She sings shanties..." Then, "Oh no, no torches, correct. And what's wrong, no Device yet? Kojikun this man needs an Intelligent Device..."

He pauses. "So I don't need to remember your fifth youngest brother's name? Because I do remember..."

Then Mamoru eyes Koji from behind his glasses, squinting. He smiles lopsidedly at Chiyo, then minutely shrugs the uninjured shoulder-- and flinches.

"For all that I'm planet boy, I am not camping boy, and I am not into random girls in swimsuits. I didn't chicken out!" He hmphs. "But if it's a day trip, provided I'm healed enough by summer break, beach is fine and so is hot springs. Not too into fishing, though, sorry. But you can fish and I'll cheer you on..."

Then to Chiyo, "The bed's at the angle I can handle right now," he says. His uninjured hand taps the remote control to indicate its presence within his admittedly extremely short reach. "If I sit up more, gravity starts being mean. Those all sound wonderful." And then he does, indeed, sip from the straw going to the thermos...

...and all three of them can see some of the tightness in his face smooth out. The purification doesn't do anything, but as Rashmi said, healing stacks -- and she primed him earlier. So it takes some of the pain away without being as rough on him as the morphine, and it works on soothing burnt skin...

Bow has posed:
"No, that was Whip. He's the smart one." Bow deadpans back to Mamoru and Koji without missing a beat. Twelve - count them - twelve siblings. All named after weapons. It got interesting a few times. "If given the choice, I could do either. Though a co-ed trip sounds more enjoyable? Sayaka's been wanting to teach me to surf."

With Mamoru starting to relax under what he can only assume is the healing of Chiyo, he quiets down slightly to let the others tend to him. "We'll work on my problem later. You're the important one at the moment."

Koji Silvia has posed:
His mouth opens... it closes... a hand raises for a moment to forestall it all, and then just lowers.

Koji smiles.

He then goes to the door, "I'll go be a nuisance at the nurses so you've got some time to pour some healing down his throat Chiyo."

Not sayhing goodbye to his friend, he adds, "The great thing about the suit is everyone just see the suit... they don't really see me. So I can come back later dressed down and be Mr. Polite."

You could even swear he WINKS as he just ninjas out the door!
