Early Loops: Veronica

Synopsis:	During one of her earlier loops, Hinoiri attempted to gather what information she could to try and help make up for the pain she caused Norie. Her first step? Questioning her roommate, Veronica. Also, petting their cat.

Early Loop:

Hinoiri was repeating the same day, over and over and over... so she had a unique opportunity.

A way to get to know and, even, apologize. To someone she had hurt, a lot. Someone... who deserved it. And, if she bucked it up? Well...

There was always today, but tomorrow.

So she was outside of Norie's room, bracing herself before reaching out... and lightly knocking on the door.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Even after the crystal heart was instated at the school, Veronica was cautious with letting Emery out of her bedroom unless Norie specifically often, so more often than not, she stays behind to let her cat out and give her the morning ration of chicken and rice pellets.

Emery stretches herself with a yawn as soon as Veronica leaves the door open, and the cat walks close to where Veronica usually leaves the food. "Good kitty", the brunette smiles, scratching her behind the ears before leaving the russian blue to her breakfast.

And then the knocks on the door. Placing the pellets back in the cupboard with a raised eyebrow, Veronica turns the handle down and looks at Hinoiri with a newly formed smile. "Good morning, Hinoiri-san. What good fortune brings you here?"

Hinoiri Kirara blinked a few times when Veronica opened. "Oh. Uhhhhh... hello. I don't... oh! Veronica, right? Perenna-san?" she asked. It took her a few moments, but she got there!

"Is, ummm, Okana-san around? I wanted to talk with her," she said.

Slowly, her eyes wandered down and she smiled at the little kitty. Heh. Cute, that kitty. She actually usually liked animals... just... not ones she had to take care of herself. And tend to herself. Other people's pets, basically. Other people's pets were the best.

At seeing Hinoiri just out of the door, Emery's head turns towards the new person, examining her with her brilliant yellow eyes before turning back to the pellets.

"Sorry to say, you just missed her", Veronica shakes her head. "Does it involve Obsidian business? I could leave her a message if you want", she suggests to the redhead.

She isn't quite sure Hinoiri would have access to that kind of information still, but she could pass it to Norie regardless. Though, admittedly, depending on what it was, more people than Norie would come to know of it.

"Her name is Emery, and she is quite friendly. Want to pet her?", the brunette offers in observation of Hinoiri's interest.

Hinoiri Kirara gave a small shake of her head. "No. Uhhhh... could... you tell me about what time she left today? And... I guess this is kind of a wellness check? You can tell her I was here, though. I... well.... can you tell me... how has she been doing? Like... has she been well? Handling... things okay?" she asked, a concerned look on her face. "I guess... I want to ask about her. How has she been doing? Have you seen her much? Has she been happy? Well... not happy. But... I guess... how much do you know about her?"

"... I hurt her a while back. And I'm... trying to find out... how to ummm... I guess... make it up to her. If that makes sense?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
"Oh. Oh. I see." Veronica takes a good look at Hinoiri when she explains the source of her concern. "I guess that explains a lot", she still smiles at the other girl, having a look of sympathy at the worry she is showing over what she did.

"She went from being in a good mood to being in a very foul one a little ago. Is that why you are here?", she steadies herself in front of Hinoiri since the redhead doesn't want to come in. "She has been herself after that, and she was happy about my and Madoka's New Year gifts. With her usual happiness."

"I think you should come in anyway. We can talk more about how to fix this mistake. Want some tea?" She is not particularly worried about her grades, and she can make up something about Emery if she receives pressure for her attendance.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave a small nod, smiling to Veronica as she stepped into the house. "I... yeah. I... really bucked it up, to be honest. It's... yeah. It's bucked up," she admitted. Walking forward with the girl...

She'd take a seat and... well. If the kitty let her? She'd definitely pet her. Once she was done eating, of course.

"I didn't realize at the time what I was doing, entirely. Like... I was mad at her, but I didn't mean to hurt her that badly. I'm trying to figure out how to apologize and well..."

Oh, from there it'd likely be quite the encounter. Trying to learn the things that Norie DID like, ways to bring some joy into her life. Anything she'd been eying at the store, anything she mentioned that had seemed to bring her joy...

Just little things, just trying to learn little bits and pieces about what made Norie tick. And how to improve her life, as it were.
