Mamoru Chiba has posed:
It's still afternoon, though it's verging closer to sunset now, and some of the people who were at the fight said they'd be there a little later, maybe getting food on the way, or going to check on Chibiusa, or going to check on Kazuo's mom, even.

Mamoru made Zoisite lie on the couch -- but it's at least the comfy couch. >:E

He also went around opening the drapes to let the golden-orange light of the late afternoon in, and it's made the warmly-colored living space with its cream walls, wooden trim, and jewel-toned carpets and tapestries, and comfortable or antique furniture an inviting, cozy environment-- the ugly comfy couch with its dark red velvet cushions and carved wooden pineapples at the top two corners of the back is proof enough that this space is also not meant to be formal.

Mamoru has also pulled out snacks and things with protein and carbohydrates both, and also canned juice and coffee and soda. There's rice in the cooker and things to eat it with in the fridge, and it's very very clear that the prince, with his furrowed brow, is thinking about what happened.

Zoisite has posed:
The moment he was laid on the couch, Izou let out a soft sigh as he didn't need to worry so much about the strain of being carried--as much as he enjoyed it. His back was fragile still and making it worse could lead to certain disaster. So careful he did remain, not moving as much.

All he wanted to do was have a normal study day. Ugh. Now his head was swimming with various subjects and worries. The cooling effect of purification had been a welcoming sensation when it happened at the shrine, but now the cool effects were warring off as well.

And his cheeks were still pink.

"Mamoru, could you bring me some ice, please?"

Jadeite has posed:
Tamaki gets the sugar bowl out with a little spoon, and finds a tiny creamer jug shaped like a penguin that he fills with milk, and sets out a line of teabags in case people want to use the available hot water for tea instead of coffee. The rice on heat mode, and he doesn't need to get the food out yet.

So he comes to the couch with a huge water bottle filled to the brim with medicinal Gatorade and adds in a straw, offering it to Izou.

"Here. Replace your electrolytes." You moron. You egg.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka spent a lot of time scouring the area around the shrine, looking for additional spies or problems. Not finding any, she concluded that the Black Moon Clan has already taken whatever it is they wanted from the area and are now plotting their next horrific strike. She decided to then make her way to Mamoru's apartment, after retrieving all of her Familiars, in order to catch up with the others.

    While still in henshin.

    As a goddess.

Her Hope Aura is felt over the area long before she alights on the balcony. It's only after she tries to speak that she remembers that she's not normal right now and honestly it's kinda hard to maintain a casual conversation when you're an eldritch being who doesn't so much speak to people as much as she feels at them.

So she drops henshin, and Kamiko pops out of her. Brai is there with her now too. Medo and Rens ran off to do other minidoka things.

She knocks lightly on the doorframe and takes off her shoes. Unless given some indication to wait, she'll let herself in after a second.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Remember when they were all going to go study together? Damn, an hour ago was such a simpler time...

Amy did elect to head back to the dorms first. She's hooked some spare hard drives up to her computer so she can remote in and prepare for offsite backups, because if her dorm room gets blown up one day it will suck, so she doesn't need it to suck more by also losing all her files.

She also grabbed both laptops -- so she can maybe leave the old one here since she keeps having surprise stay-overs at Mamoru's after magic shit goes down -- and the Switch, and a change of clothes and toiletries in case this becomes a sleepover. Having a good backpack is so good. She jokes that it's great that it's roomy in case a mascot or friend-turned-into-a-small-magical-creature ever has to be carried in it but really it's just nice to have so much room for stuff.

She is feeling lazy and takes the bus for as much of the trip as she can, texting Mamoru when she gets to the building. She may or may not have access to the first floor already for helping Veronicat, but maybe the elevator uses keycards, I don't know.

Amy does look upward and smile a little, heart lightening slightly as she feels that aura of hope.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Right after Saphir went away, the Princess of Sarek has immediately become ethereal after saying she would be back shortly, and unseen as she was, has tried to find out any traces of Black Moon's presence. A much harder task now that they have disposed of the people who are, to her understanding, the underlings of her organisation, and she returns empty handed.

Shortly after getting in front of the door, she drops enchantment and henshin and knocks on the door. After thanks for the hospitality and explanations, she is now on a chair, holding a plate with a sandwich with mushrooms and baked ham. She mentally makes note of the fact it did not take long for her to be back here.

Perhaps it was a foregone conclusion with Black Moon still active, but they have never really invaded their free time like this before. And now that they are aware of a bunch of their identities, they should be prepared for a lot more of these events.

She wants to ask what they should prepare to avoid the worst (adding their homes to patrols are what she is thinking of right now), but best to do that once everyone has finished coming in.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino remained as Sailor Venus for a few minutes after they arrived back at the apartment to stalk from one end to the other. Just in case. It was more to put her own mind at ease than any insult intended for Mamoru or the other Shittenou's ability to keep the place safe and protected. Only then does she let the henshin melt away leaving her near the little coffee and tea table that Tamaki had set up while looking around.

"I know I'm one of the first to complain about studying, but I'd rather have done that over what happened." With such a statement made she fishes her phone out to shoot off a few quick texts. One to her mother, one to Usagi who was no doubt checking on her own family, and finally one to Rei to ask how things are going back there.

Then she pauses staring at the phone. Without a word she finally just crumples into a seat letting out a very long sigh.

"Anyone up for pizza?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Sure," Mamoru says with a smile to Zoisite, and starts for the kitchen, but Tamaki's got Izou's back. ... Except not with ice, so Mamoru continues going for the kitchen, and emerges a moment later with a glass of ice cubes to hand off to his youngest guardian.

On his way back, he opens the door for Madoka, smiling there too -- she can tell he's still somewhat detached, having been bustling to avoid worrying about Usagi.

Once Zoisite has his ice, Mamoru goes to let Amy in (the elevator has no keycards, and right now it's just codes to punch in to get in the building -- until Kazuo upgrades it to facial recognition or thumbprint or something.)

"We can get pizza," he says mildly. "But there's a lot of food here, too. If you still want pizza after seeing what's on offer, I'll give you my card and you can call."

Finally, Mamoru goes to sit on the arm of the wildly boudoir-like antique comfy couch, and he says, "So anyone who henshined in plain view, assume that the Black Moon Clan has your identity and will go after you, your family, your stuff, your house-- and that means we need to work on killing them before they get to us."

Zoisite has posed:
It wasn't exactly what he had asked for, but it was just the care Tamaki had put into preparing it that Izou sighed and accepted the jug of special water with a straw. It was half the idea he had in asking for ice--to be able to scoop them out and not make a mess.

Taking a sip, he watched as the rest of the group was coming in from every direction of the apartment, being offered a cup with ice by Mamoru. When fingers touched, his mind whispered thank you and started to dump the contents into the jug. Icy water. Yes good.

Straw back in mouth, he merely listens to the prince taking a moment to sit down and explain the jist of what had happened. Their identities being revealed, which he now knew his own was more than likely discovered. The only people he loved and cherished were the ones that could easily defend themselves, but that didn't mean much for his own worries. Items? He could replace those. Angrily, but not a total loss.

Family however? Heh. He didn't care what happened to them.

"Do I have permission to be off leash with them from now on?"

Catra has posed:
The Obsidian Girls came too.

Well, Obsidian PrinceCATRA IS NOT A PRINCESS OKAY ALRIGHT DO WE UNDERSTAND THAT NOW OKAY GOOD MOVING ON LET'S GO

Of course, Catra has had to spend the entire trip over here with Glimmer riding on the back of her Honda Rebel, with instructions to hang on tight and no you don't need a helmet, what do you think I'm going to crash or something I'm a cat, I never crash.

Either way, they arrive. Catra gisguised as Rachel Miller and Glimmer as Gloria Moonhawk, though at least for Catra it's a bit more necessary on this highly annoying planet that's populated only by humans and a small number of non-humans about which the majory if the humans must apparently never ever be told.

Which hasn't stopped being a source of great irritation for Catra, and if only anyone could see her ear flicking with said irritation, they'd know. (Because the way she glowers from under a ragged grey hoodie would never give it away.)

Yes but Catra, you're the one who wanted to come.

So the disguised feline walks in, crosses her hands over her chest, looks around, and after a moment of working out where everyone is she simply inquires, "Alright, how does this work then?"

Jadeite has posed:
"WE've got a bunch of rice and foods that go with rice over in the kitchen," Tamaki tells Minako, and the points Madoka and Amy the same way to check out the drinks and snacks.

He listens to them talking about secret identities being revealed - and he'd tried to keep that under his hat, but he'd transformed in public when Zoisite was almost killed - and he grimaces.

"Most of my family's in the States and I don't think the Black Moon Clan can get to them, and my closest relatives in Japan are at least a three, four hour drive from Tokyo and that's on a good day. Is Black Moon focusing on Tokyo only?"

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Kazuo officially detached to go check on his mother. This is quasi-true; he texted her. What he actually did was shift briefly back to Kunzite to scan the area of the apartment, the balconies, and the roof for any anomalous energies, any hint that the Black Moon Clan might already be monitoring them - the metaphysical version of Sailor Venus' stalking through the place.

(This is something he preferred to do in private. Because when the non-Obsidian parts of the group were purified, he cycled the contagious-dark-energy dust he'd picked up, absorbed both during the fight and to help clean up after, into the purification to convert it once again into the same stuff he'd sent against Rubeus. His reserves are now chock-full of what Glimmer would probably call pure sparkle. And it's enough that while he's transformed, the glitter shows in his eyes, like a continuous swirling snowfall of tiny gleams. It is much easier to deal with scanning for faint anomalous energies when people are not teasing you for having literal stars in your eyes.)

He comes back in as well, and starts to prop himself against the wall by the door, then realizes that that might be taken as looming at people and goes to let two strangers in (hello, Catra and Glimmer), then get himself coffee instead. For once, for a few moments, he doesn't seem to be quite sure where to put himself.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy has stubbornly avoided ever using thumbprint or face recognition because what if she got turned into a girl or a cat or something???

Amy smiles as Mamoru opens the door; she's weighed down by her backpack and two laptop bags. "Did you say pizza?" But, she will see what's on offer first. Assembling sweet tea if possible. Although soda, fruit juice, or water is fine too. Her pack and bags are set out of the way, although she does look for a spot near a plug to set up her laptop. She's got to actually remote in and enter commands now and then for those backups.

As Mamoru talks about how much trouble they're all in, she only hangs her head slightly. 'Amanda Faust' didn't exist until July 2023, but everyone else here has families, even Mamoru has his siblings from the orphanage.

Although she wonders, as she thinks about that, what the odds are they'd connect her to the mysteriously vanished Mallory Faust. He could have been an uncle, or a father; if they'd go that far, then they might assume her parents are her grandparents... at least they're back in America. But then, they might as well connect her to Magda Faust, whose presence as an unrelated name might stop them from digging that far.

Amy realizes she zoned out for a moment thinking, and snaps out of it, looking for Mamoru. "So... how do we... I guess we start by finding their base... didn't they come in a spaceship? I guess they can cloak it, but... with some Obsidianites on our side in this, they can probably find a way to track what dark energy doesn't belong to their projects, right?"

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka gives Mamoru a warm and friendly smile, but there's a little bit of tenseness in the corners of her eyes when she reads his mood. She can't help but sympathize. If it were her own family in danger...

The pink girl knew that this conversation was coming. It was, in part, why she wanted Brai along. She was one of the more pragmatic of her Chara, in a way that even the mad scientist-esque Rens really wasn't. After finding a convenient seat, she folds her hands in her lap and lets each of her Chara settle down on each of her shoulders.

Brai speaks up first, "Am I to understand that Usagi is among the ones whose secrets have been compromised? Because if I were the enemy, she would be the preferred target."

Madoka winces at how straight and to the point her little fairy is, but... it's true. A lot of those who showed up to fight don't really have people that they need to worry about, but some did.

Kamiko, still a gluttonous fairy despite having lost the constant need for comfort food, glances over to where the indicated food might be and starts floating in that direction. Madoka notices and calls out, "Save some for others, Kamiko-chan."

Kamiko waves her hand dismissively and says, "I'm only looking for a soda! Geeze."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Yeah, Zoi," Mamoru says with a little laugh, reaching up to rub the back of his neck and looking rueful. "Sorry. But yeah -- they're all fair game..."

He trails off when Catra and Glimmer roll up, and he waves. "Have a seat and eat or drink something if you want, this is for asking questions about the people trying to kill a lot of people including Usagi-and-my alternate universe future daughter, Chibiusa. And for figuring out what to do next. Usako might not be able to join us, she's gone to her family's house and to check in on Chibiusa."

Then. He sees Kunzite and very briefly not-literally sparkles at him-- and gestures to Zoisite on the enormous comfy couch which I need to get a picture of so it's Understood--

And then he nods to Brai. "She's undoubtedly target number two. Target one still being Chibiusa."

...his head slow turns to Tamaki. +_+ "Your what?" he smiles at his fluffy blond American guardian. "How far away?" That's a smile. That's a smile.

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Gloria Moonhawk had been... actually complaining a LOT on the trip. She didn't mind the no helmet thing, though.

... She did, however, do it in henshin. So there were maybe some worries. But now? She was, once again, Gloria. The girl with a toothpick in the corner of her mouth. And Kazuo would be able to hear the tail end of her talk with Catra when he opened the door.

"And then she says 'Oh, just let him do whatever he does'. Can you BELIEVE that?! What he DOES is destroy worlds, mind control the people there and leave nothing but a hollow, empty WASTELAND. And she just acts like it's NO big deal! I swear, I don't know WHAT'S wrong with her. And then she tells ME to break the sword. ME! It's HER sword, I can't believe she's trying to make me deal with that, too."

Of course, as they headed up, she... "Oh, sweet, treats. And there's cats, too?" she asked, grabbing a cupcake... Before... "So, like. Why did you lot all henshin in front like that? I popped in right at the start. I could have handled it while you put on your sparkles," she said before sighing. "... If they go after your families and stuff, though, just know like... Some people in Obsidian have your back. That's crossing a line that... that's... just crossing a line."

Minako Aino has posed:
There was food of course. Something about stressful situations made wanting to munch on something chewy and warm and salty and ... Maybe that was just Minako's urges.

Though she'd just sat down she swings her legs out in front of her, then swings her body weight forward while bringing them down again so she practically vaults out of the chair straight into walking for the kitchenette. Her hair fans behind her like a blonde cape.

"FIRST thing is making sure we can protect our loved ones. This would be a great way to split us up to make sure we can't work together, so it'd be a good idea to focus on who they're most likely to attack first." As she speaks she's reaching for a cup to fill from the kettle with warm water, and a bit of tea, and a spoon of sugar, and a spoon of salt. The spoon clinks against the sides of the the cup while her expression turns grim.

"I think we know whose family is most in danger, though. This would be a *great* time to send them on some surprise vacation or something, if we could." A pause, "Could we use your card for that?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica watches her sandwich when Minako offers pizza. She hasn't started eating yet, but she finds herself conflicted between putting it back or say no to Minako. "Are we ordering pizza on a shovel, or 1 pizza for each?", she settles on asking the group. Problem solved if it turns out to be former. If it's the latter, she will figure out something.

"I wanted to talk about that", Veronica nods to Mamoru. She is glad he brought it up this quickly. Even if it will take a while for Black Moon to track down their identities, the sooner they have a setup, the better.

"I think we should start setting up patrols around the families in danger. That's the best solution with the situation", she tells him. Surveillance cameras are not an option, but they would be too intrusive and hard to explain, and it would then be a matter of getting there on time.

"My family should be safe", she sets aside the plate with the sandwich for now. "They live in England, and anyway, they are really out of touch. They didn't even ask why I was bringing a painting with me to Tokyo. Even if they are really public, I doubt Black Moon has a chance to get to them all the way there."

"What are the chances of Usagi sharing number 1 as well?" Veronica asks Mamoru. "Even if Chibiusa is more important, she is with us, so that might change things up a bit." She briefly turns to Minako. "Are they the type of people who would accept going on vacation out of nowhere?"

Jadeite has posed:
Threats to Chibiusa and Usagiw ill be very high, so they'll need to keep up protective rotations on Chibiusa as well as the families of those involved... "Should we get the other mahou involved with guard rotations? It may put them in danger, but there's a good chance they already are simply by proximity. Beryl didn't care much about collateral damage, and I presume the Black Moon won't either."

...Mamoru is upset. Mamoru is upset and he's not sure what he said. The hair is prickling on the back of his neck. He smiles back, casually, and goes to grab a blanket for Zoisite. "My relatives in Ibaraki Prefecture?"

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Kamiko actually carries three sodas back. She has her fancily painted Chara egg out, split into to halves, and each half is carrying a soda can while she herself hauls one in her tiny little hands. When she comes back to her Chara Bearer, one can goes to Brai while the other goes to Madoka. Neither of the tiny fairies seem to have any trouble downing the drinks that are literally as big as they are, while Madoka sips hers a bit more slowly.

At Minako's mention of sending the Tsukinos on a cruise, Madoka considers, "I wonder how hard it would be to shove them in our Labyrinth for a bit. They might not be able to tell the difference between that and a getaway."

Kamiko sips a bit of soda and says, "Let's save that for a last resort. I don't know how they'll respond to the Familiars."

Madoka's mouth twists a bit into a frown. "Well... even if we know they want to target Chibiusa first, her family would still be Usagi's. Unless we count her bio parents, in which case... well... they're a little out of our reach right now."

To Veronica, she says, "I think I can kinda help with that, or at least Kamiko-chan can. I wouldn't leave any of her minions in their houses, but... patrolling the streets, watching from above, we should be able to tell in a hurry if something happens."

Zoisite has posed:
Eyes close at the touch at the nape of his neck, feeling his muscles sooth at the permission given. Yes, he could go all out on anyone from the Black Moon Clan. Nothing to hold him back but injuries themselves--and unfortunately he was not healer, and stubbornness could mean making things worse for himself. So he would need to analyze the next situations carefully.

It was just difficult to do so when he was prone of letting his emotions get the better of him at times, if the right nerves are twisted.

When eyes open, green gaze looked over the filled room. To Veronica, Amy (who he felt more inclined to talk to), Madoka, Gloria, Rachel, Minako, Tamaki (who was awkwardly moving away) and finally Kunzite off near the door. He wanted to call the Shitennou over, but knew that guard duty was just as important. He didn't want to interrupt, merely stay close.

Yeah, the ice water was assisting him and his burning cheeks.

"A list of families would be helpful. We also have some here we need to look after. Do we need to add more security to this building, Mamoru?"

Amanda Faust has posed:
'Destroy worlds, mind control the people there, and leaving nothing but a hollow, empty wasteland.' Amy's head swivels towards the door from where she's sitting at a table or the couch with her laptop. "...There's really people like that on other worlds, huh...?" She frowns as Gloria starts... telling them off??? "She was attacking Sailor Mars! And there were ghosts everywhere! There wasn't time to go hide somewhere, and it's never been a huge problem before!"

She hangs her head again. "...Which is exactly what they wanted us to think. They played us."

Kamiko floats by with sodas, and that's adorable and brings a bit of a smile back to her face, at least. Although, the idea of hiding people in a Labyrinth for days... "Can you really do that? I guess you were working on X-Paradise... But like... you hadn't populated it with NPCs yet."

Amy cocks her head to the side. "...Maybe if it was a camping trip...?"

She looks over at Zoicite as he asks for a list of families. "D'you think they'd connect me to... someone who mysteriously vanished when I showed up, with the same last name? And then go after his parents in America?" Amy shakes her head, now that she's said and heard it out loud. "No, that's way too much trouble, especially when they've got much more obvious targets."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Chibiusa spends a lot of time here," Kazuo says in response to Veronica, "and this building is reasonably well patrolled by default." He doesn't go into detail, but ... what he does do is glance sideways at the bottle Tamaki handed Zoisite, guess flavor based on color, and start putting together a small plate of things that are easily eaten, easily digested, and don't go horribly with that flavor. Sugar first, to restart the system. Complex carbs and protein after, to keep it running. Dark chocolate to help with brain injury. It is no accident that someone who deals with Mamoru a lot knows that last one. The small plate is taken over to the enormous couch, and he folds himself down on the floor beside it to keep the plate in Zoisite's reach. To Gloria, he adds, "There are two cats currently-resident up here. One will try to coax you out of any food in the area, and the other is a kitten. Most of them are downstairs." ... not a word about why he henshined in public. But it's pretty obvious that once Mamoru did, his doing so wasn't giving away anything more.

"I presume they've gotten their hands on school records somehow," he says to Amy. "Given that they appeared to identify Izou and me first; we'd be right beside each other there, and both stand out."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru nods to Minako. "I was planning on asking Usagi if she wanted to do that, and start looking for family cruises she can say she won for them. If anyone else needs help with something like that, I've definitely got the cash to spare for it."

Then he chews on his lower lip as Veronica asks about Usagi sharing the number one slot. He shakes his head. "Her family, maybe. They want Usa to suffer and feel guilty first. But I think the idea about patrols is a good one."

... in Ibaraki Prefecture. Mamoru's gaze follows the blanket-grabbing Tamaki. "I see," he says. "I think we should set up some precautions for them too, yes."

He nods to Madoka. "I mean -- what Saphir said made sense. That if Chibiusa is close enough for us to love like we do, Usagi and I and the Sailor Senshi are close enough for them to hate us like they do." Then Zoisite again, and the corner of Mamoru's mouth tugs up. "Probably. Kazuo's probably already on it," he says, reaching to touch his oldest guardian's head, with the excuse of moving his perfect hair out of place.

Catra has posed:
"Because she's Adora!" Rachel throws her hands up in the air. "She abandons her friends when she finds something new and shiney to do or if she thinks she's not the most heroic person in the room anymore or... just... whatever look she walked out the second I picked up the Spirit Ember and I haven't seen her since so whatever."

Under her disguise, Catra's tail is lashing and her ears are flat, but of course nobody can see it. What they can see is an obnoxious American tourist stuff her hands in her pockets and glower with mismatched eyes from under her hoodie.

"Let's just find a place to sit down," she grumbles, and meanders over to where everyone else is sitting. Might as well be part of the conversation. "Do they at least have chicken here? I might be disguised as human but I'm still an obligate carnivore, that doesn't change."

The feline plops down in a seat, and holds one hand up to look at her fingernails. "Yeah well," she interjects into the ongoing conversation, "I have to like the kid so any time these Black Moon Clan idiots come after her or do anything else that might hurt her, I don't care if they're coming after you lot or Obsidian, I will cram my sword down their throats." She pauses.

"But I'm also still with Obsidian and we're still not on the same side. ...Other than that."

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Kamiko looks at Amy and sips her soda for a moment before answering. "Look, let me put it this way: It could theoretically work. It has not been tested. They could either have the time of their lives, be slightly unsettled the whole time, or forget the whole thing. We can handle being in that kind of space because our magical awareness makes it easy to understand what's going on. To anyone else who is blinded by the Veil..." The tiny fairy shrugs. "... there's really no telling what their mind will make up."

Another sip and she adds, "I think Junichi was the first non-mahou to even see the inside of my Paradise, and he was more or less passed out the whole time."

Madoka winces at the thought of all that, then glances over to Mamoru. "Maybe the cruise is a better idea. I could probably throw some money at that if needed."

Zoisite has posed:
Ah- Kazuo came close, and with a plate of food. Good, he--Wait, that plate was for him? Oh. Oh. Oh now he knew perfectly well why he was blushing, and a good part of it were still come comments done in the shrine, about Kazuo. A lot as well was happening because of his awkward situation of being expected to stay still in one place and not move much. With Mamoru on one side, Kazuo sitting next to him on the ground and having thought of what he could eat.

Izou was feeling self conscious. Not a common thing for him. And this was meant to be a private place as well, no audience. Well, he'll get over it eventually.

Lifting his hand up to his lips, he places a kiss on it before reaching out to press them onto Kazuo's cheek. Then caressing his boyfriend's face. "Thank you." He mutters.

Side glances to Mamoru then. "Kazuo is always on top of things, I know. Is there anything I can do after I've recovered?" Izou knew that Mamoru would fuss otheriwise if he didn't add that to the question.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino looks to Veronica at the question of whether or not they would take a trip without much notice. All she can do is shrug breifly. "Maybe? Mine would. That's how we got a trip to Greece once. It was *supposed* to be Hawaii but there was some confusion at the airport about where we were supposed to be going."

Her attention breifly shifts to the Shittenou cuddle pile currently building (except for poor Tamaki) and promptly tips her drink back to chug the sweet and salty tea down in just a few gulps. Her face scrunches up immediately after given it didn't taste good. Hopefully no one thought she was making faces at them.

"Good, it's a good idea, I think, though we might want to keep someone on them to protect them until they're safely away." There was a *lot* to think about.

It's Kazuo's mention of the school register that earns a genuine frown. "I think I'd be more worried if they managed to get into the school records. Isn't there some kind of magicl field around the school?"

No pizza, alas. Her mind has moved on from such things in favor of returning to the seating area to sit again. She reaches over to snag a pillow from some couch or chair to hug as she sits.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Madoka can station familiars? That's perfect! That really solves a lot of the issues with their limited numbers and responsibilities. Even better because the Veil would cover their presence much more than it does that of any magical warrior. "That sounds really great", she smiles at the pinkette. "How taxing is it for you or Kamiko to have them around?"

"It's all sorts of terrible news, Amy-chan, but we should think about what we can do, not what we could have done", Veronica brings over a drink to the redhead, trying to give her some encouragement. Even if she knows it feels terrible to be put with your back to the walls and with a terrible choice.

"Yeah, that's why Usagi, or her family," she takes note of Mamoru's specification, "may be number 1 as well. Because Chibiusa is well protected, so going after her is harder".

Veronica smirks at Catra's enthusiasm. "That's certainly what we need right now. I don't think it's a problem that you are from Obsidian with your intentions. And your kidnapping stunt already proved you care."

The brunette makes a mental note about what she said about Adora. Sounds like she might need some help of her own. "I already got Glimmer's number, but yours would be helpful as well. Are you ok with sharing it?"

"I am still recovering from being forced to take a month-long break from homework, but I am making steady process and my free time is generally good", she notes to Mamoru after his approval of patrols. "Which houses should we focus on besides Usagi's?"

Minako's airport mishaps earn her a slight headtilt from Veronica, and the brunette starts considering what that would do out to their schedule. "Sounds like a mess. I hope you were able to solve it well", she tells straightforwardly. "I can help with money as well if there is a need of it."

Jadeite has posed:
This is all good, excellent conversation. He is hearing none of it because he is In Trouble. So he's just gonna. Drape the blanket on Zoisite and then get his phone out to start taking notes. Normal style. So normal.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Rachel plops into the-couch-that-Zoicite-is-not-on and Amy reflexively turns her laptop away slightly. She's just tabbing back and forth between a desktop and a console which has some kind of list scrolling by very fast.

She nods to Kazuo. "We shoooooould probably let Setsuna-chan, Inai-sensei, and the principal know about that... if there's someone magical getting school records... maybe they'd be able to spot how?"

She nods at Madoka's assessment of the untestedness of using the labyrinth to hide civilians.

Amy nods along with Veronica's comments, all good points. And. She turns her head to Minako curiously. "How do you get Hawaii and Greece mixed up?"

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"There should be multiple meats available, chicken included," Kazuo says to Rachel as his hair is messed up. "Cooked is in the kitchen, just take the toppings without the rice; raw on hand, if you need that - or fish, if you'd rather, I presume we can chase off Anko trying to steal it back from you. If you need live, that's more of a problem." He is not feeding her his snake, possibly to Nephrite's chagrin. Were there any all-meat snacks in the closer array? He can't remember. Maybe Tamaki will.

Then Zoisite's touching his cheek, and Kazuo leans his head into it for a moment. Just a moment. They have guests, there are theoretically manners, but he's willing to push the edge of it for someone who took significant injury just now.

"There's a magical field on the campus," Kazuo agrees to Minako. "I don't have a better explanation than 'school records,' but that doesn't mean I'm correct; it could be an entirely different source. But Amy's right, we should let people know, just in case."

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka glances to Veronica and says, "Depends on what they're doing and whether or not I'm in henshin. If it's a long surveillance, I probably wont be, meaning..."

Kamiko chimes in while crushing her now empty soda can. "Meaning it will be up to me. I can handle maybe 5-10 Familiars at once by myself, but I can't really control them that precisely. They'll do what I say to the letter, most of the time, but they might also do something dumb if I don't keep an eye on them."

Madoka suggests, "I mean... as long as you can stop them from wandering off, they'll report to you right? I guess we could also ask the other Chara for help."

As for which houses to watch. "I guess we'd want to make a list of those outed to the Black Moon. I think..." she glances towards Gloria and Rachel. "... offworlders and orphans don't have much to worry about. I don't because they didn't see me. They already know where Hino-san lives since they attacked it, though they may be less inclined to pick another fight there."

Glimmer Brightmoon has posed:
Gloria Moonhawk nodded along with Rachel. Normally, she'd be more willing to defend Adora... but... well... Dark energy did nasty things. And now? All she could think about were how Bow and Adora just... let her. Ignoring her, talking over her, when everything went wrong. And they refused to even listen and discuss what needed to be done... Sure, they'd been right in the end.

... But the fact they'd just ignored her and assumed they knew best. Well, this time SEE knew best...

She, meanwhile, was going to enjoy her cupcake. And shrugged. "I don't really know the kid, but... I'm generally pretty anti-kid murder. So I'll help."

But, for now? She was going to help herself to these cupcakes.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino wraps her arms around the pillow she'd pulled into her lap, chin ducked down to rest atop it. A glance is stolen breifly at Kazuo, and Zoisite, and Mamoru. Subtle or not (it wasn't that subtle) she was beginning to pick up on a few things... but she was sure they weren't *married* like Mamoru had said. Right? Right. Definitely. Right.

Amy's question brings her out of her off-track thoughts. "Oh, the planes were both leaving at the same time and we were running through the airport to catch it, and the stewardess assumed we were the ones they were waiting on for the Greece flight and waved us on. Apparently the ones they were waiting on ended up in Hawaii instead."

"It was okay, but it wasn't Hawaii. I was really looking forward to that! Instead it was all 'educational' when I wasn't fighting." Because of course a sudden prize trip won wouldn't just be for real.

The talk of 'carnivore' food has her mention, "There's probably fish sausage in there. They're great in ramen but good for munching on too if you need some protein. Oh, also," she adds with a glance toward the silent Tamaki. "Everyone should have some electrolytes or water at least to help recover. If there's not enough you can make some with salt, sugar and water." Or tea as she had done a few minutes ago.

Catra has posed:
"I just need..."

Rachel trails off.

"...Cooked... is fine, I don't need to eat my food live, I'm not that kind of cat." Still, Catra does stand up to go and get some food, but first she looks over and waves a hand at Gloria, "Just... ignore Adora. Let her do her own thing. We'll do ours. Either she'll come around or she won't, whatever, she's... just being herself again."

And then she turns around so nobody can see the look on her face, thinking about Adora, as she wanders off muttering something about something and whatever and things and stuff.

And eventually, she returns, with a couple bowls full of rice; one has a whole load of chicken in it and not a whole lot else besides the rice, the other is more balanced with vegetables and stuff, which she plops down in front of Glora.

"Don't forget to eat," she mutters, as she reumes her own spot and just... digs in, letting the conversation go on around her while she pays most of her attention to her food. (Well, most.)

Amanda Faust has posed:
"When you weren't... fighting? I thought all the magic was concentrated in Tokyo, Paris, and Seattle? Or did like. The ancient Mykene Empire show up and attack Greece just when you happened to be there during your trip?"

Amy blinks, and then looks at the boys. "...I was kidding, that's not a thing, right? Like... there was the Golden Kingdom, but were there other civilizations on Earth that..." she sort of waves her hand slightly in a vague gesture.

As the discussion of which houses to watch comes up, Amy thinks of, "Oh, by the way: Remember to back up your files. Like. It's way less important than a lot of other things, but also easier to do something about, and like. Bad enough your house gets attacked and..." she doesn't want to say worse things out loud, "...who knows what, it's one less thing you need to deal with on the side."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"The Golden Kingdom had a structure that's not unlike a modern federation of city-states, except global, with distant areas connected by magical pathways that went halfway through dreams. The capital city always had representatives and families from many different regions-- with what I've heard, you've probably seen some of that," Mamoru tells Amy. "You have to remember there were vastly fewer people on Earth, too. Something like one twentieth."

Then he sighs and takes his glasses off, hanging them over the collar of his t-shirt, and runs his hands through his fluffy hair. "I'm losing track of the threads of this conversation," he says. "Minako-san, are we adding your parents to the patrol route?"

Minako Aino has posed:
"What? No, the whole 'you won a free family trip' thing was a trick by someone I was fighting against in the first place," Minako replies. "I'm not sure why it ended up being Greece instead of Hawaii though." Sometimes, some things just didn't work out. She moves on from the topic with a shake of her head, "That was years ago." Two at least.

Mamoru's explanation and attempt to get back on topic earns an eager nod. "Yes, please. It's just my mom and dad but they're all I have. I don't think I'm as big a target as Usagi-chan and ChibiUsa, but I do remember that Rudeus guy being upset over seeing me when I ran into him the first time." Upset. More like enraged. What had her future self encountered with that man?

Zoisite has posed:
Sighs, not willing to interrupt Mamoru. The man was clearly trying to keep up with what everyone else needed and his question could be asked later when they had a moment. Everyone was being so dogpiled in so little time...

Izou thanks Tamaki for the blanket, fingers still looking for some contact with Kazuo and electing to fix mussed up hair after Mamoru's scruff. It was a light gesture, one that wasn't entirely uncommon of him.

After a moment, he starts eating some of the contents that Kazuo brought him, listening.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy listens, but also feels a little bad for a not-really-important question that came from a joke. Although... "Wait, dreams?! ...Damn, that's cool." She looks back at her screen. "Sorry, though. It wasn't really a relevant question to... right now. I just... nervous, I guess. I wanna... fix this problem and don't know how. I-I'll take part of the patrol routes, at least."

Zoisite has posed:
"None of us know how to quickly fix this problem, Amy. That's why we're here. I know the preferable solution would be less violence and no death, but it seems that will not be the case this time. They might not give us a choice in the matter at all." Izou looks at Amy then, small furrow on his forehead. "Right now, we need to focus on what we can do."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Sorry," Kazuo says to Amy, with a touch of amusement, "but I think we were dead for the Bronze Age." Slept through that one. Like he has a reputation for doing with his classes.

He lifts his coffee solemnly toward Minako. It's ... not exactly electrolytes, but it'll do in the short term.

"So. This building is handled. The Saitou families are handled. The - forgive me, I don't know how to address you," he inclines his head toward Veronica, "but your family and Amy's family are handled. And - three? locations to add to patrols." Counting the Tsukinos, Minako's parents, and the shrine. Tamaki's family he is not going to bring up. Nephrite's family is probably far enough away. "Thank you, Amy."

He takes a moment to actually drink his coffee. Carefully. So he doesn't pull his hair away from Izou by accident.

"There's another question," he says then. "What did we learn from all that? What can we get out of what was said and done?"

Minako Aino has posed:
"We most certainly have to take them down. Even the most apparently reasonable out of them is still a fanatic," Minako responds to Izou without hesitation. There was no speech of peace and love here from her, although she does lift her head away from the pillow to glance toward the door just in case Usagi had come back around this time. For her she knew it was a much harder decision.

It actually takes her a moment to realize the raised coffee mug by Kazuo was his indication that he was hydrating. Then she scoffs quietly, "Just like Naru-chan." Of course, she didn't realize they were morning-jogging-buddies, but she knew the penchant of Usagi's roommate for coffee in general.

The more serious question has her shaking her head slightly. "I'm not sure. He was very distant when talking about his friend though. The whole 'checking the damage' or whatever. Who talks like that about a person?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"All right." He sighs, then nods to Kazuo. "We can work up a rota in addition to Kamiko-chan and the benotafraids," Mamoru says. Then he scrubs tiredly at his eyes. Just a little longer.

"And--" he slides off the arm of the couch. "--I need to go sit in some dark silence for a little while, sorry everyone."

In other words he is going to vanish into th ballpit. "Stay as long as you want, help yourselves to food, follow signage to bathrooms, but please don't open any closed doors. Tama-kun, please take notes for me? We did learn a lot! But I stopped being able to track, except for we're probably going to get attacked by at least three of the Ayakashi Sisters again, despite having killed them."

He picks his way between furniture and people, heading to disappear into the kitchen.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica hmms about Rubeus being particularly enraged towards her. Sounds quite likely they may strike there next, alongside Usagi's home. "Thank you, Minako-san, I will keep that in mind and try to pass by there as much as I can", she promises the other blonde Senshi.

Veronica clears her throat when Kazuo asks how to address her. "Veronica Perenna, and the Princess of Sarek, at your service", she tips an imaginary hat towards him with a wink. And... "You probably know that name from the russian blue cat that was here for a month. That was me." She grins with a bit of embarassment.

"I don't think Calaveras and the other Spectre Sisters were really his friends, more like their underlings. The way he crudely puppeteered the corpse and their different statements on revenge makes me think the sisters were manipulated. Oh, and Saphir hinted about Rubeus being weaker than he should be", Veronica shares.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy smiles at Kazuo's joke and nods at the summary. "Thanks." For summarizing it.

She looks to Minako. "People do autopsies. I should hope coroners are able to stay detached and take detailed notes. It's odd if it's his friend, but..." She shakes her head. "Clearly they are not friends. ...Were not."

She stares down at her ring. "There are certainly other ways of looking at the world..." she says distantly, "I've gotten so used to..."

She looks back at Minako, cocks her head to one side slightly. "I mean... You say 'who talks like that about a person', but from another way of looking at it, she wasn't, anymore. With the person gone, it was just a body."

She looks away. "I guess most people probably don't see it that way... I was never really religious... of course, now it turns out ghosts and reincarnation and all kinds of things are real..."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Kazuo listens to the others talking, and finally says, "I'm not sure that Calaveras wasn't 'just a body' to begin with. I picked up on a very subtle, very specific kind of energy around the body while it was being moved around. When it was put down again, that energy went away. And it took me a little to be able to put my finger on it - but it was around Koan, too. While she was still moving."

Zoisite has posed:
"What I have learned is that they do use something to amplify their powers. So whatever that is, we should crush it as soon as possible." It was once thing, better than nothing. "I have also learned that Blue Saphir might be very controlling of his emotions. It is smart of him to not give away too much, even if that's at the expense of a friend. They were raised differently to us, there is no surprise there why they were act differently when all they wanted was a way to attack us."

Kazuo's hair is very smooth. "But I also suspect, truly, that they, as much as we, do not have the whole picture. Something is missing. Small Lady was the one who said only the Phantom was sent to Nemesis, correct?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino finds herself regarding Amy a long moment as she listens. A single deep breath is taken, she hesitates, then says, "Not everything has to be a philosophical debate. Whatever his reasons the guy was a creepy creep." So there.

It's the rest that makes her shiver just a bit. "Yeah, the earrings seemed to take away her power pretty quickly. Besides that, if there were no resources on Nemesis like they claim, how did anyone manage to survive there?"

"Or... Is that kind of the point? They didn't."

The poor pillow she'd been hugging ends up mangled when her phone goes off causing her to tense and jump with a sudden yelp. The phone had been left in her pocket causing her pocket to buzz at the same time as the ringtone went.

If she hadn't been awake before, she was now. Red-faced she grabs for the phone. "It's my mom, I'm going to take this. Kazuo-san can I use your room?" It's not that she was trying to get IN there, really, it's just one of the few rooms she knew the location of. Plus she imagined Mamoru wouldn't be in there if Kazuo was out here.

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Yes," Kazuo says to Minako immediately. "Don't go past the second door, the snake is out. More snacks and drinks in the minifridge if you want them." Under the looming wall of screens in the security station that is more than half his room! ... screens which are fortunately turned off at the moment.

And then he adds to Izou, "Yes. She said she wasn't sure how the rest of them ended up on Nemesis; according to her, it should have been empty."

Zoisite has posed:
Izou narrowed his eyes a little at Minako's request. Not for the jealousy that could spring up, but because Kazuo's room wasn't the only private place available in the apartment, and a simple where's the restroom could have sufficed. Whatever, there was no point in arguing after Kazuo permitted her to go in.

It just irked him some. Privacy should be held high.

Sighs.

"Hm." It was only slightly curt. Another sigh. Smaller this time. "Then my suspicions of something else, perhaps manipulation, could be happening. I don't know Blue Saphir, but he did not strike me as entirely cold. Considering Rubeus being an buffoon--" That fractured his back, but he wasn't going to say that out loud, "Someone needs to have cold blood to deal with it."

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy shrugs to Minako's comment. She didn't mean for a debate either, just that she could see other viewpoints judging his action as less... callous. She nods at Minako needing to take this call, and looks back to the Saitous. "Yeah. Although, it's possible that whoever the other parent was, is someone her parents didn't tell her about. How they survived there..."

Amy tries to remember the memory. "He talked about the choking atmosphere, and the memory she shared did show that, but it also showed a..." She frowns. "Or was it just a sense? I remember the memory was... she was trying to get home. To like, someplace that had been built. So maybe Nemesis wasn't always so inhospitable? Perhaps it even had a native, who for some reason told their children they were also banished."

Veronica Perenna has posed:
"About their power", Veronica stresses, "I did point out that Rubeus has been hinted to have been stronger in the past", she crosses her arms with a sigh. "I don't know if it means that he can be made stronger again since he still has his earring, but let's keep that in mind."

She looks a bit put off by the implication the Spectre Sisters were never real. "So what, do they just have a supply of bodies they keep around with fake personalities, or are we meant to think those are friends that have died once already?"

Zoisite has posed:
"To know that a planet is not viable to be lived on means that people have studied the planet and possibly did live there to be sure. No one would waste space just for resources to be taken so freely. Why permit an enemy of the court to survive long term like that? No, Nemesis having built structures makes sense. People were there in one form or another. But the finer details we do not have. Possibly never will have."

Izou looks over to Veronica then. "If he has his earrings, it means it will be harder to kill him. But there is a chance that it's not just one source of power. I wanted to test this theory with Calaveras by taking both her earrings, and she crumbled. However they could also be a conduit."

"We had discussed some of this before... Even Tamaki mentioned the possibility of zombies. I was taking it as a jest but he had a point. Either way, the bodies do mean something to them."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Maybe either one," Kazuo says to Veronica. "Or maybe the Sisters were remote-controlling the bodies they were using." Because what could go better with weird timetraveling spaceship than brains in jars --

Wait.

Kazuo frowns. Tips his head back for a moment toward Izou, the most technological of the -ites; then looks toward Amy with her science-fiction aesthetic. "Saphir said - what was it? - sixty-seven children and one hundred and eighty-six adults. If they were banished to an empty planet with a hostile and lethal environment... with that few people, how did they get a spaceship?"

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy blinks at Veronica. "No, uh, that's not what I meant. I was just saying, like, culturally, it's not hard to see what he did as... significantly less offensive." She shakes her head. "Nevermind, I'm not communicating it well."

She looks to Kazuo, and her eyes widen. She points at him. "There's a good question, too! How did they get a spaceship?!"

She curls her fingers to a fist and holds it against her lips in thought. "If Nemesis exists in this timeline too... could it be possible for us to find it? And then like... go there? Or, no, better idea, scry on it? Like, I don't know if maybe magic can do way better than telescopes..."

She lowers her hand back to her keyboard, "If we did find something there, it might not only tell us something about the Black Moon Clan's origins, but allow us to avoid things getting so bad there that it becomes a problem in this timeline."

Tap tap takka takka tap tap takka takka tak tap. Tap tap. She raises her hand slightly before hitting Enter, with a slight fluorish.

"...Maybe Dark Phantom is the one that ruined a world Alternate Future Usagi didn't know was inhabited, and then told his -- their kids, it was her fault?"

Zoisite has posed:
"...Why would the Queen send the Dark Phantom to an inhabited planet?" Izou frowns then, caught up from starting to consider the spaceship question.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
There might be a possibility that the ghosts Calaveras sicc'ed on them were those of the Nemesis denizens, and she herself was one such ghost. Maybe bound to her body by the earrings if Izou-san is right. And it would check out with this Death Phantom guy. "Got it, I will still keep an eye out for the Spectre Sisters during my patrols, and try to test your theory again if I can."

"Maybe that was how they were exiled. I don't really buy that Usagi-chan would just leave people out to die, and their comments aren't really very trustworthy." Chibiusa's, on the other one. There is something important there, if she can find an opportunity to check it out.

"I was talking about the report and thoughts Kazuo-san just laid out, and I agree there possibly is some necromancy involved", she tells Amy. "But going by Nemesis might be beyond our grasp without finding Black Moon, or using whatever way Chibiusa used to get here in reverse."

She ponders some more about Black Moon's testimonies. "Maybe things didn't really go that way, or maybe they weren't meant to go that way. But either way, we all agree that Death Phantom is the problem here", she bites her lips. "I think Amy-chan's suggestion about his doing is important."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Maybe the planet wasn't inhabited when she exiled him there," Kazuo says quietly. "If people went there afterwards on purpose for some reason - possibly not knowing about the exile who was there - that would explain both the population and the spaceship. Though not why they landed, and not why they didn't just use the ship to leave."

And then - Amy's suggestion. He nods to her and Veronica both.

Zoisite has posed:
"This is true." Another lock of white hair is delicately moved away from Kazuo's face, listening to the conversation. And he also nods to Amy and Veronica then. It would be worth the try.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy blinks at Izou. "I... assume she wouldn't intentionally, but the best available scientific knowledge of the day could be wrong. Maybe the planet is cursed to seem lifeless from far away, I don't know." She shrugs, and looks between Veronica and Kazuo. "I... I don't think their earrings are like Soul Gems." She rubs the tip of her index finger over her ring. "Crushing it took away her power, and then she was killed. Saphir clearly had some kind of power he used to temporarily animate or puppet the body -- as he implied, it was a more expedient way to check how we killed her than an autopsy or manhandling the corpse to look at it from different angles."

Amy looks down at her gem. "I mean. I wouldn't be surprised if that power can be used offensively, and..." her eyes widen, saying the thought as it occurs to her, "fighting zombies from graveyards or morgues might be in our future against these guys,"

"...But, I don't think we have the evidence to worry that they're remote-controlling their bodies yet. Although... maybe Saphir, Rubeus, and the other two shiten-- uh... santennou? Are different than the sisters were, who knows?"

She takes a breath, leans back against the back of the couch, and sighs.

"So, besides patrolling things... we should maybe check if there have been sightings of anyone weird around graveyards or morgues... we should ask Chibiusa if she can think of anything she hasn't mentioned potentially related to Nemesis or someone else getting banished there... and we should at least look into whether we can find anything out about Nemesis in this time."

She sits up, then decides to just keep relaxing, actually. "Setsuna-chan was gathering all the stellar observation data humanity's got to analyze with her computer. I dunno if trans-Neptunian objects are in there too, but if they were..."

Amy frowns. "I admit, it seems unlikely Chibiusa would happen to remember anything we can use to find Nemesis so easily as a future observation of its location, but... I dunno, it can't hurt to ask."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"We know there was the same energy around the Sisters' bodies when they were animate, whether or not there was a person inside them," Kazuo says slowly. "We spoke of 'assessing the damage,' and then of improvement being the goal of the scientifically inclined."

He glances at Amy again. "That doesn't sound like we need to worry about a zombie outbreak. That sounds like someone looking at a project that broke to see how they can improve the next version."

A beat.

"Though tracking occurrences around graveyards and morgues is something we should do anyhow." Just in case. Either for zombies, or for ... shopping expeditions that Minako would very not approve of.

"Stellar observation includes a lot of trans-Neptunian objects. We might be able to set a diviner on the problem, too, to see if they can make the analysis easier."
