Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari has himself a big plate of butter chicken. He's reading a rather large stack of papers that the script for the Drama Club's newest performance of 'The Knight and the Dragon', which is the most unoriginal name of a play ever.

He's eating while shifting over papers. He's gonna get the role of the shining knight in armor this time, he's sure of it! No, no he's gonna get the role of the evil champion, The Dragon Knight when this is all done and over. It's just a sad, absolute fact.

Still, he's eating and paying attention to the room between bites. Is he waiting for someone or is he just curious? Mostly, it's important to not get lost into one's work! There is plenty of room at his table, regardless- of the stack of papers next to him on it.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
At first she doesn't draw attention. Prismara Bree, dressed in her school uniform might look like any other student. She was milling out front at first, then wandered in and then... Stood around.. okay getting weird and then stood in front of one of the speakers. Then well, hasn't moved since. For a while you might not have noticed, people tend to not randomly stare at some student standing near a wall with speakers staring at the speakers, but after noticing a couple of times she hasn't moved and seems to be very interested in the wall? The Speakers? Eventually you just can't not notice.

So standing there, for like an entire song, Prismara examines the speaker. Occasionally she takes notes in her notebook, which itself is kind of _noteworthy_. The book looks hand made with thick pages and glue holding it together, like one of those DIY things. Yep, she's probably going to start drawing looks soon.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari is reading, eating looking up... in repeated succession and it's when he notices the girl standing there with one of those... well it looks like a 'scrapbook' to him with the homemade look to it, decides to stand up and peek up over her shoulder. He may have to hunker down for a moment to do this. He's looking and looking and--nope. Can't see anything out of the ordinary, so he stands back up to his normal height and brushes his school uniform off.

"Hey." he asks. "Whatcha looking at? Something wrong?" he asks, with a hint of confusion and concern to his voice, perhaps wondering if the girl noticed something like a crack in the ceiling that no one else did. Stuff like that is expensive repairs and this is his favorite place to study scripts, before practicing them.

Because the butter chicken is awesome, really.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
Okay, that was not what she was expecting. Mara is suddenly aware of a precense, call it a sixth sense, call it her special unique power, her ability. She might call it hearing, because well, he literally spoke to her and that was also when her ability to sense people speaking to her (called hearing) got set off. She instantly looks shifty and tries to hide the notebook which has a bulleted list, 'How Speaking Wall works:' Along with a bunch of dots for bullet points and ... they're blank she has no idea.

So when someone greets you, you greet back. She greets the 'hey with, "Aahhh!" and jumps. Smooth move Mar. Then turning way too rigidly, like someone dumped cold water down her back, which would probably make her look cooler than what she's presently doing, she sizes Hinote up. "Oh yes, um wrong, no." She frowns, tries to look in control and continues, "I was just. I am really into speaking box wall things and was just.. taking notes about this particular one." Smooth.

She tosses a smile on for good measure, but it looks more like a grimace, like she really really has to go potty.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari blinks a little. She's into speaking box wall things. Speaking. Box. Walls. Yes. He has to take this all in, because he's a little confused on this. She Prismara gets a blank stare even after she 'ahhhs!' with a jump, before he finally reacts and jumps back and raises his hands up. "Awk!" he goes. "S..sorry, I didn't mean to pry. Just you seemed...really intent on something!" he says as he lowers his hands.

"You can relax, I'm not gonna bite." he says. "But uh." he scratches his head. "Do you mean. Speakers?" he asks, placing that hand to the back of his head. "When you say Speaking Wall Things?" he asks curiously.

"I'm.. Hinote Kagari. Drama Club. Are you new? I don't think I've seen you around before!" he says with a short smile. "I mean. I don't know everyone but you kinda. Stick out a little." he says.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
Blink. Wall Speaking things.. Speaking.. Spearkers. The slow realization dawns on Mara like a shadow crossing her face. The sort of look you get when something is painfully obvious to the point of being well, painful. After this realization occurs she proceeds to slump. Her shoulders fall, her back, gosh she feels stupid.

"Speakers.. of course." A deep breath and then a sigh. Hinote, well he looks like a friendly enough sort, perhaps she doesn't have to.. beat a hasty retreat?

"I'm Prismara Bree, but you can call me Mara, if you like." She straightens and tries to regain composure, just ignore the last five or so minutes, kay thanks.

"So...." Deep breath, "How do they work?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote listens to Prismara's name. That... sure is a name. He doesn't dwell on it though. "Well then, Mara-san." he says. "I dunno how they work. I think a coil of wire around a magnet?" he says as he scratches the back of his head again. "And like, the electricity in the magnet makes it thump against something that produces the noise."

"I think." he says "Honestly. That's my best guess. I didn't pay attention in science..." he admits. "My C average is a testament to it!" he says with a longing sigh.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
Well she doesn't look impressed by that answer. One nice thing about a simple world and simple life is that you can more or less understand how everything works. "Oh," she says with the blank look of someone who the explanation went completely over the head of, but didn't want to admit that the explantion went completely over her head.

"C-average." She does know what that means and turns her serious face on Hinote. "Hinote, you said? You need to study more, do you have your homework with you now?" She looks at his table, at least the table she assumes is his since it is unattended and presumably has food. "We attend the same school, I can help you with your homework, what grade are you in? I'm in ten." By virtue of age of course and not actual knowledge.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari gently sighs a little. "I know. It's horrible. No, that's not my homework. I'm actually studying a script!" he says as he smiles. "It's 'The Knight and the Dragon', a play about a heroic knight, fighting a dragon and it's champion." he says with wider eyes.

"I'm auditioning for the part of the knight, I know if I memorize the lines just right, I can get the part..." he says. "But it's also about inflection and... having that... Je ne sais quoi, as it is!" he says as he spreads his fingers out and hands in the air.

"I intend to fully nail it." he says, lowering his hands.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
Well knights are things that Prismara is familiar with, maybe not dragons, but knights for sure. "You are going to play a knight?" She looks Hinote up and down, the doubt is evident in her features, but if they weren't she says, "Show me then," as if acting in public isn't a big ask. Mara's eyes though leave no room for wiggling out, she seems fully expecting that Hinote will put on a performance. To make matters worse she gets comfortable, finding a seat, turning it to face him and folding her hands on her lap.

"Whenever you are ready," She says and continues to staaaaare.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari smiles and says. "Yes! Or...or..." he scratches the back of his head again. "Well. Honestly. I'm probably gonna end up playing the villain. Again." he sulks a little. "I always end up playing the badguy and I dislike it." he says putting his hand down again. Then Prismara asks to be shown and his eyes go wide. "..H--here!?" he mutters as he looks around. "W-well. I mean if... others don't mind." he says, reaching for his papers, quickly reading and putting the paper down as he clears his throat...

"Mimimimimi----! Ahem. Test. TEST. Tessssting." he goes in various tones and styles as he does a vocal exercise. "Alright. Here it goes. Act 2. Midway point..."

He throws himself to the side and points. "Vile Champion!" he bellows. "You have defiled the very land you once protected by working with this... dragon! I, Sir Arthur, will have no hand in this debauchery! No... I----!" he flourishes a cape that isn't there.

"WILL SEE YOU PUNSIHED FOR YOUR CRIMES!" he says, pointing at nothing now, as he waits and lowers his hand and then waits a bit, before he coughs and looks over, turning towards 'Mara properly. "How---how was that?" he asks.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
The whole time Hinote is preparing, Prismara watches, stares. She doesn't comment at first. Really? seems to be what her face is saying, but her lips are zipped. The part that seems to get the most frown is when he talks about villains. It's almost as if he hit a sore spot because she knots her brows and presses her lips together. Finally she does comment.

"Not everyone who is the villain is bad, sometimes, I mean the dragon probably has a good reason," she says perhaps a little too defensively, but then Hinote starts acting and she is like. Woah. Eyes wide, sitting back in her chair. How was that? She claps softly.

"That was good." She says, sounding a little awed. Perhaps he is a good actor, perhaps she has no idea what good acting is.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari bows! "Thank you! I'm hoping to be a shoe in!" he says. "But-- uh. No matter how much I practice, ya know. Like I said. Villians." he says as he sulks a little and sits back down into the table as he wonders. "You uh. Ever eat here before?" he asks.

"They do curry! Indian food." he says. "Good stuff. You wanna try a few bites?" he asks, offering some of his butter chicken, and a fork from the other, non-used- side of the table.

"It's Butter Chicken. Not very spicy." he says. "But they do a lot of spicy things here, if you ask nicely."

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
"There's nothing wrong with Villains," Mara replies a little lightly and continues, "You know some of them are good soldiers following orders or someone who knows what needs to be done and isn't afraid to be hated doing it." She tries to play it off cool, but it's clear Mara actually has some conviction behind her words. Luckily, the subject gets changed.

"Curry? Indian?" The way this goes over her head is pretty obvious and probably similar to how she reacted to the explanation of the voice speaking boxes in the walls. "Um sure."

The first bite Mara takes is tentative, accepting the offered unused fork. The second bite is a little more intentional. The third and fourth? Bordering on rude.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari looks at Prismara eyeing her a little as she reacts oddly. Does.. does Prismara not know what India is? He really hopes not, because this person just offered to help him with his homework and like--- she already doesn't know what a speaker is.

Hinote Kagari is letting you take a bite. then another bite. Then... another... and he blinks.

"You really l----"

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
The fifth? Is she doing it on purpose? She's still nom-nom-noming on Hinote's food even after it looks like maybe she's stop, she totally doesn't.

Eyes on Hinote, then on the curry, then another bite, six? Seven? She lost count.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
"--ike it..." he finishes as he blinks and just politely pushes the plate of chicken towards her, now properly, because she's clearly famished and hasn't eaten in days, clearly. So he doesn't push the point. He can always order more.

He gently smiles a little, bemusedly about it, not really put off as he asks.

"Enjoying it?" he asks, with the same bemusement as his expression suggests.

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
"Oh yes," Says Mara after wiping her face with a napkin. She doesn't even realize that well, she's eaten 80% of the remaining meal. She straightens and looks at Hinote then offers him some of his own food back.

"Oh I ate," she remarks, "But you know, you need hearty meals to keep your strength up, do you ..." She regards Hinote as if sizing him up. "Exercise?"

She's short, but Mara is a bit stocky, she clearly does work out.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari takes the plate back, bemusedly and takes a bite as he thinks and looks over to her. "Huh?"

"I mean, I do, yeah. Need to. Dad kinda always told me chubby actors don't get parts. So I watch what I eat and exercise daily." he at least, keeps his figure up. If he's a bit tall and thin. Like most tall guys.

"I'm not exactly superman." he says as he starts gathering his papers. "I should maybe get going, Mara-san." he says. "If we go to the same school, I'm sure I'll see you again!" he says as he puts his papers into his nearby backpack.

"Talk to you later then!" he says with a wave!

Prismara Bree (79) has posed:
Mara waves, with the fork, in her hand, that has some of the food formly known as Hinote's on it. She noms it and then manages around that bite.

"Lets meet up again soon," perhaps actually meaning it. Then she frowns, "Oh I forgot to ask his weaknesses. " She watches after the figure then sighs and gets her notebook out and writes, 'Does not like to play villains'.
