Date of Scene: 29 October 2023

Cast of Characters: Takashi Agera, Mami Tomoe

(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: Norie knows about us. That poor girl really needs a friend.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: I'm trying to be her friend, along with the other girls. And... I don't know if she knows this but figuring out how to detach her from that amulet is one of the things on my list to find an answer to. It's just a really, really long list at this point.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: Well, now I am too. Do you think it would be safe to touch her with my ribbons?
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: Possibly. I can't guarantee it though and I'm honestly worried about what energy drain might do to someone like you, based on what little I know about your specific branch of magic. Which is admittedly, not a lot.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: Do you know if your ribbons can feed back other energy to you, like electricity or attacks?
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: You make a good point, but I've seen another Puella touch her directly, briefly and she was fine enough to attack me a couple days later. So, I expect the risk is not too high to attempt.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: I've only ever had anything like that happen with ribbons I was actually still holding on to. Electricity seems like an apt analogy.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: Do you girls just fight each other all the time? You seem remarkably blase about the whole attacked you thing.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: She's being stupid. She thinks she's trying to help me.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: by shooting lasers at you?
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: She doesn't shoot lasers, dummy. But yes. I think she thought she was going to beat some sense into me.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: hasn't worked on me yet either
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: I don't know what she expects to achieve when she's wrong and I'm not.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: now you're starting to sound like me
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: And here I thought the whole internecine fighting thing was supposed to be our jam.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: You don't know anything about girls, do you?
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: I deal with understandable things, like magic that ignores the fundamental laws of physics.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: really though my girls never start stuff between themselves.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: Your girls are twelve, Takashi-kun. Give it time.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: They also don't compete for Grief Seeds.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: I guess that's true. So what's the deal with those, anyways. I know you need them for your magic. I know you girls get fighty when someone else tries to take them. But I haven't gotten the full info.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: When we do magic, our Soul Gems get corrupted. The Grief Seeds remove that corruption. We don't just kill witches because we feel like it, we have to.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: and here I thought you killed them because they were murdery eldritch horrors made out of thread and the darkest thoughts of mankind's nightmares.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: what happens if you don't remove the corruption?
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: If it's left to fester and fill up my Soul Gem entirely, I'll die. That's why the Grief Seeds are so important.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: It would be really nice if all of the girls in my life would stop having magical things that try to kill them if not correctly managed.
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: Easy to solve. Just stop being magical yourself.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: then I die. not really a good solution either
(PHONE) Mami Tomoe texts: It would be really nice if all of the boys in my life would stop having magical things that try to kill them if not correctly managed.
(PHONE) Takashi Agera texts: touche
