Synopsis:	Hinoiri reaches out to Usagi about Sayaka's on-going crisis following the revelation about soul gems. Usagi in turn reaches out to Chiyo. Takes place during scene 811.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Usagi. Usaaaagi. You there, girl? I need you or someone like you. You're like, the perkiest perky perk perk smiles and happy girl I know and I really need some help with that.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: Hey Hinoiri-chan!!! I'm always around to help with spreading smiles, what's going on?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Okay. Right. So. This is going to sound weird. And I don't even know if you can read this or not. But, are you by any chance... magic?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: magic? haha what's magic?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: okay that was playing too dumb huh? okay. what's going on, hinoiri-chan?

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Yeah... okay. So. I'm not magic but I kind of have picked up on some things here and there, you know? And I'm dating this nice blue haired girl who saved me from dying to a witch. Songblade or something. Not sure I should give her civilian name. She's one of the puellas, witch hunters. But apparently there's a whole thing with them and I think the girl needs some like. Major comfort. From someone who can do the magic AND be a like. Support chain because she's talking about herself like she's not a person anymore and like she's just a blade because apparently the magic thing makes her have a phlactory or I don't know but to her it's a pretty big deal and I am so NOT the best person for this. I have half a mind to cold clock her with my helmet, tie her up and drag her to a resort or something for a weekend so she can get a massage but that's probably NOT the right solution right now.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: oh NO this is the soul thing isn't it?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: I know a puella, she told me about this, and yeah okay, that does not sound like a good reaction at all, hinoiri-chan!!! i mean. your idea has merit!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: but it probably won't help in the longrun! i don't know if i can fix that. but i can definitely give her a hug and talk to her about being magic and how it kind of really sucks sometimes but also she's totally still a real person and not a blade!

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Oh, so knocking her out with a concussion won't hurt her much? Cause like. I'll totally do that. I just don't want to really hurt her. But I also don't know if I can follow her if she runs off. We're in Yumegahama ward. Can you like... contact... whatever magical sparkly girls you girls have as a support and send them here? Cause like... Really outside my depth here. I think she's the only actual magical girl I'm in real contact with.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: my friend guardian daifuku is coming. she makes magic snacks that heal and also she has a big hammer, so if there's any fighting with monsters, she can help AND heal.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: ummm basically when puella make their contract kyubey takes their soul out of them. and he makes it into the soul gem.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: and he doesn't ask permission.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: (some time later)My girlfriend is a self sacrificing idiot. This is so unfun. If you see that kyubey musk rat please punt him for me.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i was already going to! i mean maybe not, but one of my friends had already told me he was a creep

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: I can recommend. Did it once, got some good distance on him. A lot more aerodynamic than he looks.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: By the by, I won't pry into which magical girl you are. Just happy I was right in guessing you were. She's... gonna need a lot more help. She's being a total idiot about this. Talking about it as if suddenly this all makes her unworthy to be my girlfriend. Trust me, if she was unworthy I wouldn't have asked her out to begin with. This was only supposed to be a test on both our ends to begin with but like hell I'm letting her deal with this right now. You should have heard her. 'I'll just eat, sleep and fight monsters'. Like, what the hell? She's still a person. The only thing about her that's being a 'rock' right now is her skull.

Sadly, I can't keep yelling at her right now, Daifuku took her off to get her some help. I'm going home to drink more medicine and whine on the loveseat.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: that kyubey guy didn't tell her the truth because he wanted her to sign that contract with him. that means putting her all into fighting witches is just helping HIM not helping her!

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Exactly. This whole... ugh. It's so frustrating. Like, even if she has this power, it doesn't mean she has to use it how KYUBEY says she does. It's HER power. SHE made the choice, not him. SHE'S doing the work, not him. And if she decides she can't anymore? That's HER choice. She's taking the risks, putting in the time, effort and stress. At the end of the day, there's always going to be people who tell you 'Oh, you have X? So you need to do Y'. And you know what? That's nothing but lies. It's your power, it's your choice what you do with it. Anyone who says otherwise is probably trying to use you for THEIR benefit. UGH. I am so.... GAH right now!

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: it sounds like she needs to learn to be more selfish.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: it's not a bad thing! and like! you should use your power to help people who don't have any! but... but it has to be because you want to.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Both her and her friend, Madoka. They've both got that obnoxious 'I can save people so I need to save EVERYONE! FOREVER!' thing going on. That's utterly *useless*. You know what that does? It burns you out. Before you know it you're so tired you can't stand, you hate all the things you used to look forward to in the morning and when you look at the mirror you wonder how everything could have been so wrong. You can't fix everything. Delegation. Is. Key. You don't have a concert with the singer setting up the lights and organizing the parking, no. You have each person doing the thing they're best out so the star can sign their brightest. Like this she's just going to burn herself to ashes and I just want to slap her for it. And yes I know that's counter productive that's why I reached out to you about it because this is SO not my field.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Yeah. Delegating this to the people with actual magic is probably the smartest thing I could do right now. No matter what I say, it's probably going to always ring hollow to her since I don't actually fight these battles.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: maybe, but that doesn't mean you don't get a say. you're one of those people being attacked. one of those people who needed saving. you might not be slaying monsters, but you get to have a say too.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Yeah. But it probably rings a bit more true hearing 'Don't overdo it' from another one of you girls, than it does from the girl you had to rescue... Seriously, though. I hope you're not doing this overworking thing too. I swear if it turns out all of you magical people are workaholics I'll need to do something drastic. Like organize a bake sale.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i go on patrols and i do self-defense, but come on hinoiri-chan! you've met me. i love to eat good food and play video games and take naps.

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: i do what i can to help people but i can't be everywhere and i dont want to be. i'm usagi tsukino. i want to be me.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Good. And exactly! Just... it's okay to be yourself and pursue your goals. Like, it's not like you're going to be fighting these fights for the rest of your life, what happens when it's all over, you'll need to do normal things, get a job, raise a family, take over the world.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: I didn't just give you an existential crisis, did I?

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: no no i was just thinking i mean...

(PHONE) Usagi Tsukino texts: we should all get to do that. the magic goes away. so... some day, we'll get to have those lives we want.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: Exactly. One day... we'll all be able to be the people we want to be.

(PHONE) Hinoiri Kirara texts: ... Though I can't promise Sayaka will make it to that day. Cause if you girls can't help her knock off this 'I am just a blade' stuff I may be more dangerous to her than anything else she's fighting.
