| Synopsis: | Rashmi texts Riventon through their mutual Devices, passing along and asking for news and status updates. News of Hotaru and Molly is broken, and the two decide to collaborate on a new project; retooling Luminous Titan, to see if he could be compatible with a certain small lady. |

<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - I think I'm very close to a breakthrough. After what happened to her, I moved my focus a little closer, but it seems the universe is determined to pull my attention in too many directions still.
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: Yeah... I get that. And on a similar, even less happy question... Are you plugged into Tomoe LifeSciences at all?
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - Wow, you just know how to hit all of the top happy moments. You sure you don't work for us? But no, I haven't been dealing with them since I got moved to Beryl, and I work for someone else now. All I know is they keep dropping like flies, and then all of the business with a certain someone that just happened. But I don't think I've got any more information than you should already.

<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: Again... I'm sorry. That hit me almost as hard as losing Molly... who's also back, with something piloting her, just in case. Thanks for looking, by the way. I'd've told you that sooner, but... I haven't been myself. Anyway... I've got Luminous Titan on me, and I was thinking of offering him to your niece. Is there anything I should know about how he was put together, that I'll need to look out for?

<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: Just going on who her parents are, it makes sense. It'd give her a means of defending herself until she woke up to whatever power she really has.

<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - I'm thinking about it. That's kind of... the device is Hotaru's, and it feels wrong to give it away? she's not dead.
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: I get that. But given the person in question, it's more like borrowing it... And if Hotaru-chan needs him back, I can *build* your niece a new one. But that would take a lot more time than I have, and she needs the protection *now.* Maybe protection from Hotaru, even, which I hate but that doesn't make it not true.
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - Borrowing it I can get my head around easier. So. Luminous Titan is more of a Dark Energy control device than it is a built-to-spec weapon. it's been protecting hotaru from what I suppose we now know as tall-and-spooky. for years. but depending on what the girl's threats are I might be able to give you some info on repurposing some of the circuits.
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: That would be vastly appreciated. Also do you have the specs on his Grimoire backed up, or will I need to dig for that? Which I don't mind, I've got a few days' downtime left.

<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: His catalog of spells? THat's what the Mid-Childans call that database anyway. Also can he do simulations?
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - Ah. Spellbook. Grimoire. Makes sense now. Self-taught. Sometimes didn't pick up the names. I know what you mean now, I'll fish it up. It's a basic device in terms of combat though. His owner made better use of the energy blade than the spells but the idea of Chibiusa wielding that glaive is both hilarious and dangerous sounding. so we may have to slightly repurpose. most processing power was devoted to managing her situation.
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: That makes sense. And yeah even if an energy spear is set to nonlethal... the thought of a toddler swinging that around gives me hives, however smart and brave she is.
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - It was a bit large for its original wielder as it was. Anyways. Maybe take that internal monitoring and management and turn it into something external. can still alert me if she gets into a dangerous situation, too. I think the same garbage that took out Sara is the ones lookin for her, if everything I'm aware of lines up like that.
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: That would line up with what I know too. And if I can repurpose those control methods to *defense,* it'll give her a million times better chance of surviving.
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - Well, depsite the whole glaive thing, defense is its primary function.
<PHONE> Takashi Agera texts: AXION - but moving that from external to internal will be a thing. also I'll want to send you some specs. there's some pecies in there you may not want to touch unless you want chrono to deal with you being extra grouchy
<PHONE> Rashmi Terios texts: NICOMACHEA: I share a dorm with a purifier and after what happened to Chrono, we have a better idea what to look for. Given the last month I may just request a blast once a week just to be sure. But I would definitely rather have specs than to go in blind, so thank you very much for that.
