(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: So.. for reasons I can't get into.. I was holding onto Chat Noir's miraculous when Riventon attacked. Staff lessons, totally paying off when I have to pretend to be a Neko for a little while.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: riventon's been busy.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: that's really cool that you got to use his henshin device though

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: What else has Riventon been up to? I feel out of the loop.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: It was really cool. I'm happy that he gets to be him most of the time, but to try it out and see that training has actually been doing anything? Yeah. That was satifsying.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: he pulled out a youma that the two of us had been going to do together. moon and mercury and zoisite were there too, but so was firefly, and after usa purified the youma she got into it with firefly and firefly turned into a monster lady with prehensile hair and tried to kill her and ami. this was not part of riventon's plan. also i lost my temper at him and helped zoi set him on fire and i feel kind of bad about that

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: yeah it is :/ also is chat noir okay? do you still have his miraculous?

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: And I'm glad to hear that Zoi was out and about! I worry about all of the boys becoming hermits, but they have their own stuff to work through.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: they have a LOT of stuff to work through

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Yeah. Chat Noir is fine. He needed me to keep it safe for a couple hours, it was just poor timing that /right then/ was when stuff went down.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: It is /super/ weird to borrow someone else's. his.. mascot dude? I don't know what to call Plagg.. but I wans't going to, but he was 'do eet' and Chat Noir and I had talked about it previously. It's not uncommon amongst the Miraculous users to trade around a bit, apparently, so wasn't quite as weird for him.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Apparently I'm bad at the secrecy bit. ;) (Although Riventon asked who I was, and my brain /blanked/ on a name that didn't include Naru.. so I just didn't ansewr him.)

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: especially when it comes to other people's identities. that's where it really matters. but then it's all tangled up with mine and suddenly people who know mine have one less degree of separation from those of other people

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: But it's true! And I find it hard, because I'm always me. I try and be respectful of people who aren't comfortable sharing who they are, because of a wide variety of reasons.. but everything I do is as me.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: So it's hard to remmeber sometimes.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: i know its not the same thing you're talking about but it kind of is? partly anyway? everything i do, no matter what name i have on or what mask i'm wearing, i'm still the same person. even prince me. it was different when i was hematite but that was artificial, and even then i was still me underneath the muck

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: I think it is.. or near enough. So many people know you as you, and all of the masks as being /you/.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: frankly im shocked when the veil works with me. riventon actually literally didnt know me, it was surreal. at first i thought he was faking it

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: That is one thing I dont have.. unless I've borrowed someone's transformation gizmo.. there's no veil for me. I'm just me.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: yes? i mean don't they amount to the same thing

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: Well.. in my head I meant magical vs mundane.. but yeah.. they really do.

(PHONE) Naru Osaka texts: with all the awesome mundane gadgets and a butler? I'm in! (Although I dont really wnat to tragically kill off my mother. She's not awful.)
