(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: the lizard person is alive you can tell your friends
(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: what happened anyway? im assuming she didnt ask you

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: oh? Takuto and Wako will be glad to hear that.
(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Lizard disguised themselves as Sunbreaker, summoned a youma. I hit them with the amount of force it would take to dent Sunbreaker.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: oh rip

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Very.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: well fafo ig. remind me never to piss you off, that was... a lot

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: sunbreaker i mean

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: The attack is calibrated for the target. If they hadn't of disguised themselves as Sunbreaker, I wouldn't have bothered.
(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: I assumed as much. I can handle it.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: make sure you handle it with friends, just in case

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Hopefully she'll teach her partner not to pretend to be her when they're causing trouble.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: hopefully. i'm not betting on it. but bring wako at the very least, you need a barrier lol

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Definitely. Given the explosive nature of our powers, it will be useful.
(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: How bad was the damage?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: extensive. lots of internal injuries, lots of broken bones, spinal damage

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: In line with what I expected. Do you need compensation for the resources used in healing them?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: you know, sunbreaker asked me the same thing last time she was involved in something like this
(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: i just need a long nap. but thanks

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: It's only a logical question. You went out of your way, and even MSF accepts donations.
(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: I appreciate the update and the warning.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: MSF does accept donations, but the only resources it took were my time and energy, and there's not really anything I can think of to compensate for those. So I don't bother to levy charges. If you want to buy me chocolate I won't say no, though.
(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: No problem!

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Of cours. Milk, dark, or white?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Hahaha, a milk and dark assortment? My significant others will want in on the spoils of war.

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: Are you comfortable with sharing your address?

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: I live on campus at Radiant Heart, my full name is Mamoru Chiba, room <X>. You realize you don't need to do this, right? I don't ask for payment, and you're not even the one who asked me to heal them.

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: I'm aware. You went out of your way and were inconvenienced due to my actions. I don't regret those actions, but your service is impeccable, given what you saved them from, and excellent work deserves compensation.

(PHONE) Mamoru Chiba texts: Fair enough! I appreciate it. And you and your friends are, of course, welcome to ask me for help as well.

(PHONE) Sugata Shindo texts: I appreciate that.

One day later, Mamoru will receive notification from the dormitory mailing room of a large perishable delivery, and would he please come to receive it?

Once at the mail room, he'll see that his deliveries have been neatly stacked into a large moving cart. The sort used when students moved into the dorms. It's necessary, because the packages... Take up half the cart. Once the cart is upstairs, there will be nearly a dozen boxes. One box is filled with chocolate bars - 60%, 70%, and 80% dark chocolate, with a mix of fillings - almonds, salted caramel, and plain. Another box is the same, but with milk chocolate bars instead, both with a Fair Trade chocolate seal.

Three of the boxes are an assortment of artisan chocolates from luxury producers originating in Ecuador, Dubai, and Taiwan. The products range from chocolates filled with nougat to ganache to fruit filling to assorted nuts, topped with flaky salt, leaf gold, and more. These also certified fair trade chocolate.

The remainder of the boxes (the other five) are Japanese specialty brands, fancy candies of the sort that were highly sought after on holidays like Valentine's day and on couple's anniversaries. The very last box is regular chocolate candy bars of the sort available anywhere, as if a last minute concession to normality. It's hundreds of dollars worth of chocolate, easily.
