Miya Sakamoto, recent move to Tokyo, student at Radiant Heart Acacdemy! Generally cheerful and friendly, she can come off as a little awkward at times, somewhat confused by the fancy customs of the Big City; she's nonetheless doing her best to make new friends and fit in in this new place.
She loves tinkering, so, as is typical for the girls of her age with a similar range of interests, she is often seen either in her trademark orange overall/jumpsuit combo, usually, but not necessarily, tinkering away with some project at the school shop, or transformed into the high-visibility-orange-with-reflective-white-trimmings magical girl Cure Spanner who, on behalf of the Kingdom of Building, fights the nefarious forces which threaten the very concept of Structural Stability.
Armed with courage, determination, big dreams, and an adjustable wrench, she is going to deliver percussive maintenance flavored justice to a monster near you!
And possibly fix your boiler while she's at it.

Makuga is about to make her debut, and as everyone knows, it's a debut only if it comes from the Debutante region of France, otherwise it's just sparkling first day on the job; unable to afford such a fancy imported introduction, Miya Sakamoto, your friendly neighborhood unpowered human, has to settle for the latter: today will be her first day on the job as staff for the concert.
What Miya doesn't know yet is that 'first day on the job' is going to take on a very unexpected meaning for her.
