Cast of Characters: Miho Inada, Hinote Kagari

Miho Inada has posed:
Well, its a clear night, where one can see the stars well, dispite the city around. The temperture is fairly warm, but one might want a jacket. Miho had heard that Hinote excused himself from classes, and she was a little concerned about it. Its not like him. The woman sent him a text, asking him to meet her by a small park near the waterway. She found this place while running one day, and thought about bringing Hinote here.

At the moment, Miho is running a little late. Mostly cause she wants to make sure that Hinote gets there first. The woman makes a few more subtle adjustments to her outfit she's going to wear. After a few deep breaths, she heads to the park. At the moment, she's by the walkway, watching the spot, waiting for Hinote to show up.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
This meeting was planned before last night. It was gonna be a mini-date in Hinote's eyes. Something small, soft and easy to walk away from if things felt off. Like say not much the Korma. Still.

It turned into something else.

Text to Miho Inada: I need to talk you. Important. I guess.

Hinote Kagari was looking at Miho from a distance by the walkway, before approaching. Tracy was next to him, floating over his shoulder. "Forget about it, Hinote, it's Chinatown." says Tracy. Hinote Kagari just frowns.

"Hey, Miho-chan." he says, with as much false bravdo as he can muster. "Let's walk." he says.

Miho Inada has posed:
Miho takes a deep breath as she looks at Hino. Her outfit was something...much different then what Hino is probably used to. Miho is in a sweater, cream colored that leaves her belly button exposed, but not too much. A black skirt. Yes, skirt. She's wearing tights with some flats for shoes. There's a small bracelet on her wrist, and the necklace she bought a while back. There's a softness about her at the moment.

"I-I see.", the woman says. She takes a deep breath for a moment as she soothes her skirt. There's the scent of that perfume that Miho likes to wear. Her focus was on him. The woman looks at Tracy a moment. The focus is on how is Tracy doing. In her mind, Tracy is as much Hino has Hino is. And Tracy gives new meaning to wearing your heart on your sleeve. For the moment, she's silent.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Tracy seems more terse than usual. Something is obviously wrong. It's probably hard for Miho to decipher Tracy's pulp movie sequitors. Still. Hinote's gaze softens at Miho's manner of dress. And the smell. Him? Just a black t-shirt and jeans. Simple brown shoes. Something to wear.

And that's when he just hugs Miho wordlessly. No explanation. No words. Just a hug. And to take in that perfume as he closes his eyes and finally whispers.

"I'm sorry." he says. "But I need to talk. S-something. Happened last night..." he says quietly.

"Something horrible."

Miho Inada has posed:
His words. Actions. How Tracy is acting. Something happend. Something bad. She hugs him back. Miho takes a couple of breathes as she whispers quietly. "Ok. Lets go down to the bank.", she whispers. "I'm here.", she says. The woman moves to his side a little bit. She wraps her arm around his, and tries to lace her fingers in his. "You're safe.", she says.

Miho is watching him closely. She's not quite sure, but it she can feel that its something that shook Hino to his core. And that she knows about. Miho stays silent, trying to give him the time and space to think of what he wants to say. The woman tries to squeeze his hand a little to offer her strength and support.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari releases Miho hesitantly, but walks down to the bank with her. Down to a bench facing the water. He motions for her to sit first. Ladies first. Even in his upset state, he isn't forgetting his basic etiquette his family grew him up with. When Miho sits, he'll sit with her and take that hand, squeezing back. "Sorry... sorry." he says quietly. He is shaken.

There's just hand squeezing and more sorries for the next minute as he gathers his thoughts.

"I.. was tracking a Witch last night. People we're missing. A leg was found. So I figured a Witch." he says. "That's what the news was leading to."

"The information was all there." says Tracy.

"Yeah..." he says. "Some. Normal people. Walked into it's Labyrinth. Sort of like it's own little world in a limited space, before I could get there first..."

Miho Inada has posed:
Miho listens as she watches him. Everything he's saying. It matches a few things that she's heard about. The woman has meant to talk to Amy about witches a bit. What she understands is that they create something like the Mahou do to protect innocents. Save Witches uses these spells to trap innocent people, and..wait...The woman's eyes go wide for a moment.

She pulls Hinote into her. "Y-you're safe. I-I'm here.", she says. Miho shivers a little bit as she listens. The woman bites her lip a little bit, as she holds Hinote tight. "Breathe.", she says. Whether its for her, or for him...Only she knows, but she's a bit scared herself. Did he walk into the Witch's Web, and witnessed the witch...feeding?

Miho holds onto Hinote. She pushes Hinote back a little bit. "Just look into my eyes. Focus here. Have you slept?", the woman ask. Miho is almost certain he hasn't. The woman sometimes feels it when she closes her eyes. The sight of Walpy. She can only imagine what Hino has behind his eyes..."I'm here for you.", she says.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari says. "Witches feed on innocent people." he says quietly. "They do a thing... to sort of mind control people into their worlds. And they draw them in. We .. there we're others... Red was there." he says. Amy.

"There was... teeth. So many teeth. And... some sort of big grisly...girl that. Picked up one of the people and----" he mutters.

"Huh?..." he asks. "I. I tried to sleep. I promise. I didn't sleep well." he admits. "The..."

"...She ate him. Just... shoved him into his mouth and ... I was covered... and...."

"...I took so many showers. I still don't feel clean." he says, leaning into Miho.

"I'm sorry." he whispers.

"We managed to save the others. But... I should had. been able to..."

Miho Inada has posed:
Miho's eyes go wide. To see that...She'll have to talk to Amy about it. For now though, she has to be here with Hinote. The woman takes a deep breath. Miho gulps a little bit before settling her breathing. Everything is screaming at her to run. The nightmares already creeping into her mind as she tries to fight through them. Miho closes her eyes for a moment as she thinks, and holds Hinote to her.

The woman can't think of anything clever, witty, or purposeful to say. Everyone has been in this fight longer then she has. What can she say to somebody whose seen so much?

Its takes a long moment before Miho lets go. "You can't blame yourself. We can do so much, but there's things we can't do. We're...in fights.", she points out. "Fights are unpredictable. And there are times where we lose.", she tells. "Remember those you saved, and remember those you lost.", she tells. The woman looks up. There's not much she can really say past that though. She hasn't been in the fights that Hinote has.

The woman takes a deep breath, and closes her eyes. Her breathing becomes even as she opens her mouth, and starts to...sing?! Its calm, peaceful sultra. A prayer and an offering to the gods above to grant their blessings of peace. The sultra is soft, and calming. There's no wavering in her singing. She hopes that whoever may hear it offer Hinote a measure of peace.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari says. "You're right. I can't blame myself. But. I still am. I probably still will till the end of the week. Maybe a little more thensome." he says. "But you're still right." he says quietly.

Then she starts to sing. And he just stays. And he listens as he looks out onto the waters of the river. He closes his eyes a moment as she sings and imagines the fish in those rivers. It's peaceful.

He softly waits for the song to end and then...

Then he takes her hand. And he leans over and gives the palm a kiss.

"Thank you." he says quietly. "For listening to me. I'm sorry. I know I would do the same for you now." he says gently.

Miho Inada has posed:
Miho nods her head a little bit. There's a quiet whisper. "You've done so much more for me.", she whispers. "If...You want to lay down for a bit.", she offers. The woman pats her lap a little. "Just to look at the stars, and let your mind rest?", Miho offers. "I..can't offer much, but what I can offer is yours.", she tells him.

"I'll be there for you whenever you need me. You're not alone, and you don't have to suffer alone.", she tells him. "I...made that mistake already. Not too long ago, I did go fight a Youma to get back into things. A hot dog...truck youma? I...yeah. It still...scared me though. I can't lie that some nights, when its stormy...I feel like...that nightmare is staring at me though the windows of the dorm.", she tells. "You're tougher then I am. You'll get through this. For now, rest.", she says.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari indeed does so. He rests his head on Miho's lap. "Thanks, Miho-chan." he says softly. He rests. He listens to Miho and mutters. "Yeah..." he says silently. "I promise you. I won't let any hot dogs hurt you. Ever again." he says quietly. Okay. He may be deliriously tired.

And he rests. More so than he should. He see's the stars. He sees your face. And then. He sees the inside of his eyelids. And he drifts off.

Tracy floats down onto his stomach and seems to almost curl up and rest too, pulling his tiny fedora over his eyes, even.

Seems the two really needed to vent that out. To rest. To then be with someone they cared about.
