You're As Cold As Ice
Date of Scene: 26 January 2025
Location: Clover Tower
Synopsis: Poor Bow. He just wanted to take Makoto skating-- then their friends Mamoru and Usagi convinced them to make it a double date, and then Mimete and her daimon Tarugeto decided to make it a triple date.
Cast of Characters: Bow, Mamoru Chiba, Usagi Tsukino, Makoto Kino

Bow has posed:
Adjusting the cuff of his dark cashmere sweater, Bow runs his hand over the neatly folded collar of his dress shirt. The hem of the sweater sits casually over his corduroy jeans, and he keeps one hand tucked into his pocket while the other loosely holds the skating tickets he's already purchased. He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his gaze drifting toward the elevator doors for what feels like the hundredth time.

The fourth floor of Clover Tower is calm, the weekday lull leaving the skating rink pleasantly quiet. Soft blue light from the tower reflects off the glass walls and ice, casting a faint glow over the space. The sound of skates cutting across the rink mingles with light chatter and the occasional burst of laughter from a group of teenagers circling the far end.

Bow exhales slowly, his fingers smoothing over the edges of the tickets. It's not nerves, exactly, not entirely, but there's a certain weight in the air, an awareness that this isn't just another outing. He glances at the rink again, watching a pair of skaters glide by effortlessly. It feels easier to focus on that than the anticipation of meeting Makoto. The balance that Usagi and Mamoru were going to be present helped with calming his nerves as he reminds himself of something someone on Earth had told him - A watched pot is right twice a day... No, that wasn't it. Ugh, he'll figure it out later. Nerves.

He shifts again, brushing a hand over his curly hair to smooth it back, though it spring back into the gentle pile on the top of his head that it usually is. It's just a first date, he reminds himself, casual and simple. Still, he can't help the small case of nerves he has.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"--true!" Mamoru's voice is protesting as the elevator doors open, but it's laughing. He pours out of the elevator first, an incredibly tall drink of water: he's wearing black skinny jeans and a pair of black and grey checkered Vans, a grey t-shirt that says ROCK COLLECTOR on it, his black leather jacket, and black leather driving gloves. His glasses are clean, and his fluffy hair is windblown.

Pulling Makoto and Usagi out of the elevator and then releasing them with a spin, he calls to Bow, "This was a great idea! I haven't been ice skating since this energy-stealing idea I had back when I was like fourteen-- we're renting skates, right?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Also pouring out of the elevator is a small drink of water - Usagi Tsukino, giggling as she and Makoto are spun from the elevator. She's wearing a glittery pink dress with a layered skirt that would absolutely spin if she twirled, with a denim cropped jacket to keep warm against the expected chill of the ice skating rink.

"I hope we're renting ice skates - I definitely didn't bring any." Was she supposed to bring some? No, no, Mamoru wouldn't have forgotten that.

Smiling at Bow, she waves across the room to him and leans in close to whisper at Makoto, "He dressed up nice for you!"

Makoto Kino has posed:
Makoto follows a step behind the pair, laughing a little. "I haven't been in forever, either. I used to have skates, but they wouldn't fit any more even if they weren't long gone now. So, definitely renting."

She's in a tunic-length red top with eyelet lace trim on its v neck and sleeves, and a ruffly little dark blue skirt that leaves approximately a mile of leg bare - though when you're as tall as she is, that's just about any skirt that doesn't make her look like a delinquent. She waves to Bow, then ducks her head and gives Usagi a little shove, whispering urgently back, "Cut it out!"

Peeling off from the couple, she lengthens her stride to meet Bow. "Mamoru-san is right," she tells him, "this was a great idea. Thanks for inviting me."

Bow has posed:
With the trio coming out of the elevator, Bow makes his way over to meet with them, waving the tickets over his head. "Hey!" he calls out. And while he is not quite as tall as Mamoru is, he's still a bean pole in his own right. As he looks over Mamoru's wardrobe choices, a grin shows off his pearly whites, as he innocently asks. "Rocking out today?" He probably doesn't realize he looks like a nerd compared to Mamoru's punk aesthetic. Not that it would bother Bow in the least, as he nods, but grins playfully. "I don't own any skates, so I am definetly renting. And you're going to have to tell me about this whole energy stealing idea you had so very long ago."

"Hi, Usagi!" Bow greets next, "You look cute! Oh, totally renting skates. Like I was about to tell Mamoru, this was an idea someone actually suggested, and when I saw it on television, I wanted to try. It reminded me a lot of ice-sliding in the Kingdom of Snows, though without as many logs and rocks in the way."

And then well... Makoto makes her appearance. And admittedly, she is the one girl that Bow has to look up at. Which may explain the slack jaw just a little. "Wow. This was a great idea..." he echoes. "You look amazing, Makoto!" He had seen some of the other girls dressed in a similar fashion already on the ice, but to go back and steal from earlier in the pose? Makoto's rocking the look. "Anyway, I have the tickets, so we can get the skates, due a few turns around the ice and break for cocoa?" he suggests to the other three. "You might have to help me with this a little, Makoto. Ice skating wasn't really a thing back on Etheria. But I figured it would give us a chance to talk and get to know each other better, other than we're both close to a certain blonde." With that, he's offering the tickets to the others and falling into step to head for the skate rental.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Well. My rock collection's on the loose, but if anyone's watching our date, it's unlikely to be them," Mamoru tells Bow, smiling a little crookedly. His rock collection. His boy band, Not That Prince and the Minerals. The Shitennou, for those watching at home.

He slides his hand into Usagi's as they follow Bow, and Mako, and he immediately realizes his mistake. Doing things that it helps to wear gloves for is the antithesis of passing telepathic notes with your fiance.

"Be-- really careful, Bow, if you haven't done this before. Mako-chan, I think we might both have our hands full, haha--"

The skate rental place has that smell they always do, the weird scent of old leather, shoe polish, metal, damp, and cold all together. Mamoru puts his ticket in his shirt pocket for now, and he finds a pair of skates he likes, and he looks sidelong at Usagi. "Want me to lace up your skates? They have to be really tight.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Laughing off Makoto's shove, Usagi grips Mamoru's hand casually, her fingers tangling with his. They can't pass psychic notes, but they can still be a touch insufferable, which is it's own sort of happiness. Even if it's not an effective means of communication, like, at all.

"Mamochan will definitely have his hands full with me," Usagi stage whispers so that Bow and Makoto can hear, "But I trust that we'll do great. Can't be worse than a regular day, right?"

This is why they will later be able to blame this attack on Usagi, for the record.

When they're in the skate rental place, Usagi asks for the skates in her size, selects some that are in good condition, and then looks at Mamoru contemplatively, before lifting her chin and saying, in her most princessly voice, "It would be my pleasure, if you laced my skates, Mamochan. Where do you want me to sit?"

She gestures at all the tables around them, breaking into another smile.

Makoto Kino has posed:
Makoto smiles, reaching up absently to rub her hand across the back of her neck under her ponytail - still not used to this whole business of getting compliments from guys. "Don't worry about it," she assures Bow. "It's been long enough I'll have to re-learn. We'll just take it easy, and you can get a feel for it."

She spends some time picking out her own rental skates, and finds a seat long enough to put them on. As she does, she tips her head toward Mamoru and Usagi, with a face of indulgent amusement at the antics from the two of them. Eternally just That Couple. "Like he said," she advises Bow, "make sure you lace them up tight. It'll be tough on your ankles if you don't."

Bow has posed:
"Oh? Are Makoto and I supposed to be your guards tonight? If so, no dice." Bow fires right back at Mamoru, though with it's tone, he knows that would not be something that Mamoru would ask for anyway. As he's advised to be careful, there's a grin. "Come on, me, careful? Okay. But just tonight." But he is prompted by Mamoru when he suggests that he help Usagi with her skates. He was just about to ask Makoto if she wanted help with her skates.

Then he realizes that may be too personal and considers throttling down from the question, but Usagi's comment brings him to snicker. "Don't jinx us, Usagi!" he calls out to her as he takes his own turn to look over the skates himself, looking for his size, but really having no clue what to look for it blade condition. But then Makoto is handling her own skates, so yeah, good call on the not asking. "Right. Tight laces. I'm used to my boots being form fitting because they were handcrafted for me, so I get it."

Tightening down the laces after shoving his foot within, once the skates are on, he moves to rise to his feet, trying to balance on the blades, a slight penguin waddle as he waits for Usagi and Mamoru to head onto the ice first, before he offers his hand to Makoto. "Shall we?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
A place for Usagi to sit! A bench, there, next to the thick foam mat.
"By the time Usako met me, I had graduated from doing dumb things by accident to doing dumb things on purpose," Mamoru says to Bow as he starts loosening Usagi's laces all the way down, "about your question, about energy stealing. I had JUST turned fourteen. I made energy-stealing snacks and people had them and then started passing out on the ice. Bad scene all around. Nobody got seriously injured, for the record."

Taking his gloves off, Mamoru slides Usagi's foot into the skate, looking up at her and smiling as he does. And then he reaches to take Usagi's hand and put it on his face. "Just show me how tight it is so I know if it's tight enough." That's the cheatery input he gets to use -- and unfortunately, tightlaced skates still need to be really tight. They're like armor on Usagi's ankles and feet by the time Mamoru's through with them.

His own are just as swiftly laced and tightened, and then he hands Usagi up and they go to join Bow and Makoto.

"Let's," he says as he tugs his gloves back on and dusts off his knees, then leads the two of them out onto the ice. "For now just don't-- don't lift your feet yet?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"The stupid things you did on purpose were kind of charming, in retrospect," Usagi informs Mamoru, even if she does wince a little, at the thought of getting energy drained on ice. She would definitely have gone down, and down hard if that happened to her.

She's settled in a chair, letting Mamoru lace up her skates, and when Mamoru lifts her hand to his face, she cups his cheek, thumb tracing the curve of his cheekbone. She lets him feel the skates getting tight - tighter - is it really supposed to be that tight - until he knows that he's tightened them enough that her ankles and feet are effectively armored, unlikely to roll or slip unless something truly unexpected happens.
he real challenge after that? Getting on her feet. She grips Mamoru's hand tight as she clip-clop walks on her skates to join Makoto and Bow.

"Alright! This - is not too bad, I'm still on my feet!"

And then? Then they are on the ice, and she absolutely doesn't not lift her feet, because actually being on the ice is making her wobble enough that she's clinging to Mamoru's hands.

"Oh, I spoke too soon but I've still got it, I am staying on my feet," she whispers under her breath, "I am not lifting my feet, and therefore I won't fall -"

Makoto Kino has posed:
"--oh my god I just got it," Makoto exclaims suddenly, her head snapping up. "Rock collection. Mamoru-san!"

With a very mock-pained sigh, she shakes her head and turns her attention back to Bow. She gets up onto her feet before accepting the hand he offers, rather than risk unbalancing him by letting him help her up. "Can you believe him? Anyway, yes, let's go!"

It quickly becomes clear that either Makoto was downplaying how long it's been since she last went ice skating, or else her muscle memory is exceptional, because there's almost no awkwardness to be seen in the way she sallies forth onto the ice while also lending Bow a steadying arm. She is very much not commenting on any past energy theft shenanigans.

Bow has posed:
"You should have at least offered it after they came off the ice!" Bow is trying is level best not to break into snickers at the idea of Mamoru handing out dark energy snacks and leaving the ice littered with his victims. "Rock collection?" Okay, clearly Bow did not get the joke. But then again, he doesn't know the meaning behind all of the Shittenou's names.

When Makoto rises up, Bow patiently waits for her to join him, and his hand slips into hers - and he daringly gives it a little squeeze before relaxing into it. "Going!" he offers chipperly, more than happy to let Makoto lead. And realizing how good she is at skating. His arm hooks around hers, hands settled back against each other.

"So how's things been going for you, Makoto?" he asks. "I know you like making foods and all... but I didn't know you were really good at this too!" he admits with surprise. There's no lifting of his feet. He shifts his weight slightly from one to the other. A little wobbly, but he seems to have the mechanics down.

"Seen any movies or gone out lately? I've been watching some American cinema to shore up my cover story, and you know, learn more about things. Though I may want to lay off the action movies for a bit."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
OH BOY does Makoto get a grin from an aggravating prince. "My shirt... the names of my Shitennou are various stones-- Kunzite, Nephrite, Jadeite, and Zoisite," Mamoru explains, laughing at Usagi clinging. He gives Makoto an affectionate 'I don't know what I expected' look, and then he grins at Bow. "Like I said, I graduated to dumb things on purpose only later."

He kisses Usagi's head, and then carefully holds her steady-- then takes a glove off again and pockets it, so he can touch and show Usagi where to put her center of balance, how to move it, how to correct without overcorrecting-- how to use her weight to steer.

Mamoru (talk) 06:51, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

At the edge of the ice on the other side, there's a girl in a yellow frock coat with a big bright red scarf over her hair, and immense round sunglasses. She's wearing very fancy black figure skates and she's carrying a metal suitcase.

Her gaze has zeroed in on Bow.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"The worst part is his boys being prettier than the rocks, and the rocks are actually pretty," Usagi adds, fingers clinging to Mamoru with slightly less than bruising force. She is very nervous about falling, because now that they're on the ice, it looks incredibly sus. Like, plotting on her downfall, sus.

...Plotting with the forces of gravity, not dark energy, to be clear.

With Mamoru's help, she's able to shift her weight a little better, find her center of gravity even on the ice and balance her weight along both skates, and she starts having a little more fun with it, even daring to lift one hand from Mamoru's.

"Hey, I think I've got i-WAH!"

She does not have it - another skater has breezed by, not even all that close, but she flinches, which throws off her balance, which results in -

Usagi down on one knee, clinging to Mamoru's hand, blinking tears away because ow the ice got her, it got her, princess down!

The girl in the yellow frock is unnoticed.

Makoto Kino has posed:
"It's not really that big a deal," Makoto protests, flushing a little now as though embarrassed by the compliment. "I've always been good at this kind of thing... anything that involves moving around, really. But hey, you're doing pretty well for this being your first time, you know?"

A little laugh, and she shakes her head. "No movies or anything lately... I guess I've been kind of busy between school and senshi stuff, and helping with the cat cafe on and off. What kind of American movies--"

Her question is cut short by Usagi's tumble; Mako can't help but wince a little and look over. "Are you okay, Usagi-chan?"

She also has not noticed the girl in the yellow coat.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The metal box suitcase clatters to the ice and slides a dozen feet or so, then pops open. A cloud of pink smoke billows out, and as it clears, a daimon is left standing there: tall and female and with hay coming out the edges here and there, looking like someone went to Spirit Halloween for a Sexy Archery Target costume and then went reenactor on it--

She has targets for hands, too, and the target in the middle of her chest is a black star.

"TARUGETO!" she crows absolutely delightedly, sounding like a squeaky fairy mascot, and then--

Mimete THROWS off her coat and scarf! "I, Mimete of the Witches 3," she yells out, absolutely ignoring the civilians in the background starting to yelp and yell and skate away and fall and fall while skating, "have been shot in the heart by this man's beauty and skill!"

This she calls as she shoots Bow in the back and his heart crystal pops out, glittering.

The youma slides forward and starts shooting rings from her target-hands, rings which skid on the ice, rings which try to loop around people like horseshoes and then tighten to pin arms to sides, rings which try to tangle people's legs.

Then the youma keeps sliding, and her eyes get comically wide. "Mimete-sama, how do I stop???"

Mamoru (talk) 06:51, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

Mamoru, still holding Usagi up and blinking behind his glasses, shakes his head. "No time for crying right now, Sailor Moon," he whispers, kissing her head, and then he holds her hands in his and says quietly, urgently, "Earth Prism Power, Make Up!" and it's like reality shrugs a new skin on for a second-- dark, vibrant colors flare up and around the black clothes of the Prince of Earth, replacing them with fancier, stronger, and more suited to figure-skating clothes. "Hang on to me!"

Bow has posed:
It takes several moments, but it finally clicks and Bow ohs loudly. "I didn't know they were named after different type of rocks! Okay, that makes a lot more sense..." he says with the realization. "And they are attractive." Probably more so than him - but this isn't the time to really think about that.

And most of that is because of the commotion of hearing Usagi take a tumble. Part of him immediately wants to try to turn to see what's going on, but his grip tightens on Makoto's arm as he pigeon-toes his skates to bring himself to a stop.

Right across from the girl in the yellow frock.

"You alright, Usagi?" he calls over to the pair, craning his head around to get a look. Any answers he was about to give Makoto are cut off with the tending to the Princess.

The clattering of the case catches Bow's attention and he twists back around as the youma appears.

Whatever warning he was about to yell is cut off as he feels a sudden push through his back and he barely has time to respond to the fact that he was shot in the back. He heart crystal is released and his grip on Makoto's hand tightens for a few seconds, before it goes lax and he sinks onto the ice.

Makoto Kino has posed:
If there'd been just a little more warning - but there's not, and even Makoto's finely-tuned reflexes aren't quite quick enough to keep it all from playing out right in front of her horrified eyes. "Bow-kun!"

As the daimon's rings fly out across the ice, Makoto suddenly whirls in place. One long leg swings out, meeting one of the rings with the flashing blade of her skate. Her eyes find Mimete, sharp and furious. "We. Were on. A date!" One hand plunges into a pocket and comes up with her henshin pen. "Jupiter Power - MAKE UP!"

Electricity erupts around her as she kicks into a figure skater's spin, her clothing transforming in bursts of energy and fluid motion. When she kills her own momentum with a foot coming down in a spray of ice fragments, it's Sailor Jupiter glaring at Mimete instead of Makoto Kino.

"People who interfere with other people's dates should be kicked by a horse and die!" she declares, pointing an accusatory finger across the rink.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I'm - I'm okay, it just s-surprised me!" Also, it hurt, because the ice is as solid as stone, and her knee crashed right into it and it hurts and -

One moment, Usagi is on the ground, clutching her knee, tears in her eyes. The next, Bow is on the ground, body slack, a crystal gently bouncing on ice.

There are still tears sticking to her eyelashes when she presses her hand to her compact, staring in horror at Bow and the youma now sending everyone crashing to the ice.

"Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!"

A flash of bright light, the suggestion of red ribbons - and then Sailor Moon is struggling to her feet, slip-slide-skating arm in arm with Tuxedo Kamen, the Spiral Heart Moon Rod in her free hand.

"Jupiter-chan, fuck her up! We'll get Bow's heart crystal back where it belongs!"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The ring Makoto kicks with such sharp elegance bounces off the glass with a THROK and ricochets into the back of the daimon's head. The daimon who is not wearing skates. She starts to tilt, then tries to correct, then overcorrects, and starts going 'no no n N N NONONO' as her arms flail.

She pouts, then squeaks "I have stopped, Mimete-sama!"

"THEN ENGAGE! Ugh!" Mimete says with a gesture, pulling out her wand and stepping out onto the ice. "CHARM BUSTER!!" she yells, pointing the staff at Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen and letting loose a blast of black sparkling oh-no-you-don't. The mistake she makes is stepping out onto the ice, forgetting what physics actually is, and immediately overbalancing. "AIEEEP!" she cries out as her feet slip from under her and she lands on her bottom.

"Get Jupiter GET JUPITER TARUGETO!"

Tarugeto lunges for Makoto, shooting rings at her -- the kind that go over your head and shoulders and then shrink at your elbows!

Mamoru (talk) 06:51, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

Meanwhile, Tuxedo Kamen unceremoniously scoops the somewhat-struggling Sailor Moon up bridal style and is doing absolutely great ("We just need to be faster than her!") at getting them toward Bow's heart crystal when Mimete has the audacity to shoot at them.

Mamoru crouches over Usagi, and did you know he was wearing his hat? He was wearing his hat, now his hat is over there smoking somewhere and the two of them are barrelling toward the group at full speed, only trying not to hit Mako--

Makoto Kino has posed:
Sailor Jupiter's faith in Sailor Moon is absolute. Trusting that Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen will protect Bow and his heart crystal, Jupiter surges into motion, flying across the ice with a few powerful sweeps of her skates. She blasts right past Tarugeto, those green green eyes laser focused on Mimete.

"SUPREME--

The rings fly at her and Sailor Jupiter twists, bends at the waist and kicks one leg out-around-up to once more catch a ring with a slice of her skate's blade. In the next instant the momentum carries her around and she comes back up, fist trailing electricity as she brings it down and sends the second ring careening away across the rink.

"--THUNDER!!"

Thunder BOOMS in the confines of the rink and all the lights flicker wildly as a bolt of lightning courses down from the ceiling into the daimon behind her, lighting everything up in stark black and white.

Sailor Jupiter is still headed for Mimete at top speed.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Sailor Moon might not be able to skate to save her life, but if there's one thing she can do? It's be Princess Carried.

And with Tuxedo Kamen watching their legs, she can be their arms - and they're going to miss the Heart Crystal, they're going too fast, there are people everywhere and they're going too fast -

"Don't fall, Kamen-kun!"

This is the only warning Tuxedo Kamen gets before the Spiral Heart Moon Rod is abruptly being used as a ski pole, the crown topping the heart slammed into the ice hard enough to crack a portion and forcing the two of them into a wild curving spin as Sailor Moon dips over Tuxedo Kamen's arms, barely avoiding getting kneed in the face as she snatches up the Heart Crystal as they speed by Bow's collapsed body -

"Moooon Spiiiiiiraaaaaalliiiiiiing Heaaaaart Attack!!!!"

Translucent pink hearts burst into existence all around Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor Moon's bodies, and an enormous pink heart appears right in front of them, where they would have struck a wall -

BOUNCING them off the wall and sliding them backwards towards Mimete's flailing form on the ground.

Bow has posed:
Bow's body slides across the ice, unaware of the icecapades that's broken out around it. Right past the heart crystal it slides, arms and legs aprawled out like a lazy octopus on the ice. And then suddenly, Usagi's attack sends him spinning around, flailing about in an unconscious topspin that takes him just past Mimete before she can grab him.

And right into a net that someone had set up at the other end of the rink, setting off a small red light, marking a goal scored.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
There's-- there's an explosion of youma. A little kid's archery kit falls to the ice, and so does an egg-looking thing, which cracks and lets out a cackling cloud of dark energy, which immediately dissipates.

Mimete stares at where her daimon was a second ago, and then at Sailor Jupiter barreling like an aircraft carrier at her from one direction, the heart crystal just out of reach, Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen freight-training at it from the other direction, Bow's body slip-sliding away, and she squeaks.

She squeaks and starts scrabbling backwards on the ice, trying to get off it with her witch's staff intact, and then she hears the attack called right after they whiz past her and oh, Mimete freaks out. "Stop stop STOP!" she yells, shaking her head, eyes shut tight-- and she finally hits the edge again, the edge of the ice!

That does not actually get her far enough away for her to be entirely free of the CRASH

C R A S H!

CRASH

that's mostly behind her. Her legs are tangled in the others, and she is not wearing skates.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Sailor Moon's head is spinning after that collision, even if crashing into Sailor Jupiter is a lot softer than crashing into a cold hard wall.

"Ow," she whines, trying to detangle herself from all the limbs. That's when she realizes one of the legs entangled with her own isn't wearing skates, or color-coded boots. And is connected to an orange-haired, orange-dressed girl. And -

"Sailor Moon Kick!"

Mimete is booted out of the tangle.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Oww!" Mimete cries out, punted clear out of the pile -- she grabs her stick and also her coat and scarf and sunglasses and bag? But not the suitcase because to hell with the suitcase.

She grabs them and shoves them angrily in her bag as she storms off... then glances back and sees the Senshi starting to pick themselves up, and she bolts.

Bow has posed:
When the heart crystal is restored to Bow, it takes a few seconds for him to realize he's face-down in the ice and tangled in a net. This is not exactly what he had in mind when he asked Makoto out as he lets out a small groan and moves to free himself with assistance as he pats his hand against his chest. Everything is where it's supposed to be.

A glance around, there's Tuxedo, Moon, and Jupiter, which means... oh no. Wincing to himself as he collects himself and pushes himself to his feet, he glances over in the direction of Makoto, and after making sure she's alright, asks, "Can I get a mulligan?"

Makoto Kino has posed:
From amidst the tangle of arms and legs and cape, Sailor Jupiter - flat on her back on the bottom of the pile, and a little dazed by the sudden shift from 'soaring across the ice like a falcon' to 'flailing like a drunken goose' - blinks a couple of times.

She tips her head all the way back and peers up at Bow from an upside-down vantage, brow slightly furrowed.

"You mean... like the stew?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Oh! Oh, I know this one!"

Sailor Moon has twisted around and is slowly, very slowly, drifting away on the ice, her skirt having just enough slide to let her spiiiiiin away after the momentum of her Sailor Kick.

"Its from golf, my papa plays it with the old guys at his job. It means a do-over, but - you know, I think I hear sirens, so we should probably figure that out later."

A beat.

"Help?"
