Synopsis:	Goldenweb Yorotsuchi, Chrono Harlaown, Nanoha Takamachi, Rashmi Terios and Hanzo take on Fate Testarossa, Riventon and Arf fort a Jewel Seed which has possessed a classic American muscle car on a rampage!

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Somewhere in Yumegahama is an old, American classic car. Once owned by a collector, it's been abanonded for years as the family didn't care for it at all. The seafoam green 57' Chevy sat and rusted for decades...

Until a Jewel Seed, coming out for dimensional space crashes with a thud into the driver's seat.

The car has a wish. It wishes to drive again. So it does. Magically, all the rust is gone. It grows in size. And soon... it's off, crashing through the small alley it was in and sending brick and debris everywhere as it crashes into the road, sending other smaller vehicles spinning out of the way.

It starts to barrel down the road at high speed, completely recklessly and without pause for anything or anyone in it's way as the beach boy's 'I Get Around' blares from it's tinny old radio speaker.

Nanoha Takamachi, herself, is already enroute, Raising Heart and Yuuno both detecting the Jewel Seed as she flies through the air as she hurries as fast as she can. "But the signal is moving so fast...!" she says worriedly as she tries to pick up the pace. Others might get there directly faster!

For now, the car is causing a dangerous amount of chaos as it blares down the road!

Ahmya Karashima has posed:
Ahmya had been nearby, 'collecting' things as well! Though not worth as much as the car collector's car. No, she'd been collecting shells and sea cretures on the beach nearby, which is why when she shows up, her get clacking as she runs towards the source of the magical signal Hachi had been sending her warnings about...

She was wearing a black-and-pink pentagram two-piece swimsuit with matching mesh coverup over top of it. "...Why did the music change so randomly?" She comments absently to herself. Luckily she'd been somewhat ahead of the car. Which meant she got to see... the oncoming danger and hazards. "...Crap." She says quietly under her breath, quickly dodging into a nearby alleyway to henshin into her magical gorm, Goldenweb Yorotsuchi! ... ... BEACH OUTFIT FORM! ... Which is the same as her usual form, she's just a bit more sand-covered than normal.

And she makes a beeline for...

The victims of the car, beginning immediate search and rescue style operations, anyone stuck in cars she would cut out, any cars that were on fire she would put out with mysteriously soaking wet blobs of spidersilk.

Any cars that she could save from spinning out and crashing, she would do with strong strands of her golden webbing.

It's... not a precise thing though.

And a lot of her actions are a bit overly done which means that she's VERY visible, sending out wider swatches of her golden webbing than necessary.

...Yeah it's possible some people are running from her because they think she's the problem.

It's fine.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown was, in a strange twist towards Fate, relaxing. He was out on a little date with Rashmi, and they were each with an ice cream cone (his was blueberry). He was wearing his very professional looking bomber jacket.

And he had plans for a really nice, soothing day with his human girlfriend. And as the two were preparing to cross the road, suddenly the car just ZOOMED by at such speeds they were almost staggered by the wind effects!

Chrono sighed.

A moment later their devices would ping that there was a jewel seed nearby.

Chrono sighed with all the enthusiasm of an 80 year old electrician who had just been told their retirement had been pushed back another month.

"Duty calls, my little Page Mage. Shall we?" he asked before pulling out his card and, with a flip of it, henshining into his TSAB uniform and following after...

And already falling behind, quickly. What in the blazes?!

<< Rashmi, can you setup a barrier? I'm going through maps of the local area, seeing if there's a locale where we can try and cut through to cut it off. >>

Fate Testarossa has posed:
    Fate has been busy.
    Between homework and constantly hunting for the Jewel Seeds at all hours of the night, the small blonde has been... Exhuasted.
    But as soon as the rogue magical energy signature of a Jewel Seed pinged Bardiche, the twintailed blonde was on the move.
    "It's fast..." She comments mildly.
    "Yeah bit not as fast as you, Fei~to." Her Familiar, Arf says, taking to the blonde's side as they blitz towards the signs of magic.
    It's when they arrive on site that a *clap* of thunder sounds out across the streets.
    Lightning isn't as flashy or dramatic in the middle of the day but Fate Testarossa does not care about how flashy she is or is not as she lands atop of a street light, tired scarlet eyes narrowing as--
    The car blitzes clean by.
    "..."
    "... Wow look at it go." Arf says, head turning to follow it.
    "We should probably go after it." She says turning to Fate and--
    Fate is gone.
    She's already blitzing after the car at top speed.
    "H-hey! Don't leave me behind!" Arf cries out.
    But it's too late.
    She has been left behind.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
With the weather turning toward the warm, ice cream and a walk was the *perfect* date to enjoy the springtime weather. All was right in the world, and today seemed to be shaping up to be an *excellent* da--

Staggering in the path of the car's wake, Rashmi stares for a moment... then as she gets the ping from Nicomachea, and Chrono sighs that veteran's sigh, Rashmi simply grits her teeth, then nods. "Looks like..."

One henshin later, and she's flying after the car at her top speed... Which is nowhere near enough to *begin* to catch up.

    << I mean, I'd love to, >> she answers Chrono's telepathic question. << But unless you mean over the entire *district,* I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to lock on! Is there any way you can slow it up for a bit first? >>

Ahmya's golden webs catch Rashmi's eye, and she loops the spider-mahou into the expanding communications net. << Hiiii, Goldenweb-chan! You're doing *great!* >>

It's never a bad time to spare some encouragement for mahou prioritizing the safety of innocents, after all.

Koji Silvia has posed:
The signal of a Jewel Seed was something that Koji had only seen once before, and before he could make it to the scene of the event, things had already resolved and nothing left but a slightly wrecked building. However, this time he's much closer, just having been coming back from a Gymnastics club get-together on the beach. Volleyball, supervised swimming, all of that.

"Hanzo?"

     << Loading Coordinates now. Signals Detected. User Terios and Officer Harlaown in area. >>

"Alright then. Let's do it. Set Up."

Turning into an alleyway, he draws out his smartphone and the words 'SET UP' in blue scroll across the small exterior screen.

A quick henshin later, and Koji's Barrier Jacket form is sprinting to where he's thrown out a Booster Shield to send himself rocketting into the air so he can see where and what is happening. His rope-Kunai flies out and locks onto a cell tower so he can swing out and around to the street.

Takashi Agera has posed:
    Takashi Agera is not, at this time, hunting for Jewel Seeds at all hours of the day. Hunting for Rainbow Crystals on occasion, yes. The Jewel Seeds are actually decently far back on his plate. And right now, he's sitting half-asleep at his desk in his dorm, with a peice of paper with strange, almost-scribble looking text of some kind. His device is continually sending a beam of light out of its center jewel, scanning it.

    After a moment, it pings.

    "Oh, Axion, did you finally decipher some of it?" Takashi asks excitedly, the moment the noise eurpts and wakes him back up.

    <<Nein.>> it replies in German before switching voices. <<However, a Jewel Seed has been detected by external scanners.>> it continues.

    "Mmh. A Jewel Seed. I suppose that means Fate will be involved. And I should be." He looks at the bit of paper forelornly. "I suppose the translations will have to wait." He sighs. And he starts to get ready to walk out of the room before he turns, takes the paper, and locks it back in a briefcase and then leaves.

    A moment later, Riventon moving across the city. "Are you sure it's moving that fast? Seems like the sensors are busted." He says to his device as he heads on an intercept course. Then the car shoots by in all of its magic-powered speed. "Nevermind, don't answer that."

    Riventon shoots forward, ending up following behind Fate - though he's notably slower than she is. "I think we're gonna have to blast it." Riventon says to Fate through their devices. And it's also a sort of 'hello'.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
The car continues racing past everyone. It's fast. Not supersonically fast, but fast enough. Enough it's sending everything in it's way barreling into the air as it races past and into things with wreckless abandon without losing any speed, even though it should. Magggic.

Goldenweb is able to help people behind the wake of the car just fine. It isn't exactly double backing to 'finish the job' as it is, it's just racing ever forward!

Nanoha Takamachi finally arrives on scene and hooks herself into the telepathy net. < I'm here I'm here! > she says with a panted tone even in her head. < This is moving too fast. I can't hit it like this. Is there any good plan to slow it down or stop it!? > she asks the tactical-telepathy-net.

Fate is here. So is Riventon. This isn't lost on her, and those two might not be so worried about potentialy missing the target and hitting bys---oh. OH. RIGHT. She keeps FORGETTING.

"BARRIER!" she calls out, a barrier erecting in the area. Taking bystanders with it. Hopefully, it's large enough the car isn't going to immediatly race out of it!

Ahmya Karashima has posed:
As the car went one direction, Yorotsuchi had gone the opposite direction past Chrono. ...Oh hey there's Chrono! And Rashmi was in her head shortly after.

And, just on the assumption that he's on the network already.

She might be making excessive assumptions right now. It's probably fine.

Other, more notable arrivals are noted as well. The streak of Fate, the rope-swinging of Koji. Both of which might get a brief sparkly-eyed gaze. Look they're both cool. Even Takashi is cool in a dark evil dude way! ... ... ... Yeah honestly Ahmya might just be a fan of magical people in general.

A new voice on the telepathic net.

And then a barrier is put up. Okay, so the civilians are knocked out of the situation. That's good.

<< I'm going to move to cut it off. I don't think I'll be able to stop it, but I should be able to slow it down! >>

And she starts running after the car! Which isn't very fast, until she starts launching runically-enchanted web circles onto the ground in front of her, each one giving her a brief burst of speed that fades over time, just as it starts to fade, another web circle is made... until... eventually...

She was close enough to aim towards the car... as best as she can, shooting a series of web 'circles' towards it in a shotgun burst-like pattern to attempt to catch it.

And put a web magic circle on it with two runes: HEAVY. SLOW.

...It probably wouldn't stop it, but it would help the more normal-speed mahou catch up, if it's successful.

Takashi Agera has posed:
    Riventon tells Fate what she probably already knows. "Sparklesquad's here too. Familiar signatures. The usual interlopers - the girl, the agent, his understudy - plus a few other signatures." through the telepathy. He's just not as fast as Fate - he's not designed for it, even in offensive form. He's going to have to let her deal with catching up with it.

    "Axion, let's try for the tires. We need to hold energy in reserve for the fight after the chase." he notes, stretching his hand out in front of him and making a sort of finger gun, a surge of purpleblack energy growing into existence on the tip as focusing runes start to wrap around his arm.

    <<Acceptable liklihood of striking target now. Firing.>> <<SCHARFSCUTZENSCHUSS!>> the device calls as a thin, bright purple beam fires out of Riventon's hand, bouncing off one of the barrier buildings and trying to drive into the car's wheel from the side after criss-crossing on the road below Fate and out of the liklihood of hitting her.

    "If we stop this thing we'll need to secure the area before we can secure the Jewel Seed, Fate. If you run in and try to grab it you'll just get mobbed." he warns.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown started sending out checkpoints to each of the device wielders. << It's too fast to keep up with normally, it-- >> And then he caught sight of Fate. Dang it. And that likely meant Riventon wasn't far behind. << Nanoha, it's Fate. Please move to engage. This likely means Riventon is on his way as well. If anyone on the network encounters him, please inform me and I'll move to engage. Goldenweb, stay in pursuit of the vehicle. Page Mage, please attempt to cut it off at this location, see if you can lock it down with ice. Be careful of trying to make it skid out, though. It's not slowing when it hits things, which likely means physics aren't affecting it in a normal way. But if you can stop the wheels, that will hopefully do it. >>

And right on time, Riventon.

Three small, green orbs flew through the air and were sent flying around towards Riventon.

Half a dozen barrets resolve around Rashmi, followed by a screeching crack as they're loaded up with ice magic. There's a brief pause as she diverts their striking power to endurance and homing, then fly off toward the be-rune-d youmautomobile, with one purpose in mind;

Hit on target, stick, and build up to slow the car down further. Create drag on this drag racer.

Because one flight probably won't be enough, a second follows immediately after, and a third is readied.

     << Good luck, you two! Let me know if you need a boost! >> is called out after Chrono and Nanoha, because... I mean, supports gotta support.

Fate Testarossa has posed:
    Of course others are here. It's never so easy. Fate's eyes squeeze shut tightly for a brief moment.
    <<I know.>> She replies to Riventon. Whether this is to having to blast the car or deal with the other mahous first before going for the Jewel Seed it's a little difficult to tell.
    That girl is here. Throwing up a Barrier. At least innocent people won't get hurt by the rampaging car anymore. That's... Good.
    But that girl is here.

    Likely the car first because it's... On a wild rampage and best to be dealt with before it can get out of the barrier.

    Arf is...

    Trailing behind. A lot. Running slowly along the street, the red-haired wolf-woman huffs and pants, running past Yorotsuchi.
    "Wait for meeeeeeeee!"

    Fate... Does not wait as she tries to land on the back of the car and aim her Device down at it.
    If no one stops her she's just gonna shoot the car.

Koji Silvia has posed:
With a gymnast's precise backward flip into a landing on a rooftop, Koji looks down over where the car goes by and right towards where Goldenweb has started laying out some sort of series of web-mines in the road where the vehicle is heading. Hanging part-way over the edge, Kunai in hand, 'Hanzo' hears the orders being given out by Chrono.

<< Hanzo here. This is a pre-1980s American muscle car. I've seen it in some movies Dad likes to watch. No electronics to disrupt it, and even if we managed to kill the sparkplugs, the Jewel Seed will most likely replace it with it's own energy. Whoever made those web-constructs... good idea, but let's make it like a field in front of it. Rougher terrain to stick it up. Rashmi, refocus your ice attacks on the engine up fro-. >>

And then, there's Fate.

Moving completely on reflex, Koji just leaps off the building, and throws a hand out forwards.

    << SHIELD BOOSTER >>

Another hexagonal Shield appears that his feet land on and launch him like a missile towards the Chevy and the scythe-wielding girl. He points and then launches a second Spell, this one aimed at the girl who left him with a permanent scar on his back.

    << DISRUPTOR FLASH! >>

Just in front of and around Fate, a suddenly burst of multi-colored light, cacophanous sounds, and a sense of imbalance explodes from a central point, meant to be non-lethal but only for those caught inside of it!

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
The racing car has Goldenweb Yorotsuchi racing after it and has a heavy and slow rune placed upon it. It makes it heavier, which...probably isn't great for a fast thing but the slow rune starts slowing the car down. A smidge. The Jewel Seed powering it is greater, but it can't just outright ignore the rune.

With it slowed, it becomes easier to hit and Riventon's shot comes crashing into one of the wheels, making it swerve and slow a bit more as it does so, the driverless car. Rashmi's Ice also sticks to the vehicle, slowing it down even more.

Then Fate lands on the car and blasts at it point blank, the hood of the car comes flying off along with other debris. The car is now slowed down considerably. Which is good. The bad? It's still pretty conventially still fast. Just now 'conventionally' so.

Nanoha Takamachi can finally catch up with it as she listens to Chrono. Engage Fate. Okay. She can do that. She just dives downwards as fast as she can as she lands in the passenger seat of the car and she's about to say something to Fate when a flash bang goes off around Fate. She blinks and covers her eyes, but it wasn't aimed at her. So nothing happens. Instead. Nanoha fires off a beam of magnenta laser at close range at Fate, hoping to take advantage of the momentary distraction.

"Fate-chan, back off! I can't let you have this Jewel Seed!" she says with much worry!

Ahmya Karashima has posed:
A purple beam crisscrosses past Goldenweb Yorotsuchi, something that gives her pause as she looks back towards its source -- oh hey someone she recognizes. It's Riventon! She fought him before! ... ... He's a bit far away, but she does actually kind of wave at him.

Look it's only polite to say hi.

Chrono gives her directions! To continue pursuing the car!

Oh hey a cute wolf girl is running past her as she slows down while waiting to see the reaction to her debuffs. "Oh, hey. Here."

Aaaand webbing is shot in front of Arf to help her catch up! Much like for her, it's a brief speed boost that fades quickly down to normal over around ten seconds. She only does the one though.

<< Hanzo, is it? I'm not fast enough to get ahead of it until it slows down, at which point I can start doing that. I'm pretty fast, but can only get fast enough to catch up in bursts with those rune circles until it's slowed down. >>

Though there were a LOT of efforts to slow it down happening right now.

Aaaand there's people who are on top of it, fighting.

Hm.

More speed-boosting rune circles in front of her, and Goldenweb Yorotsuchi is dashing forward. "Alright, time to try to stop it..."

Now that she's close enough, Goldenweb Yorotsuchi starts launching several just... massive... globs of unformed webbing in front of the car's path, just... a series of them to attempt to stick it up and help finish up the stopping it!

And interspaced between those globs were a few web nets.

More so that if Fate or Nanoha get launched off by a sudden stop, they get caught by a soft net instead of getting launched into a sticky glob.

Hopefully.

Luckily the webs aren't made of sticky webbing except for the ends, so it shouldn't be TOO gross for them.

...Probably.

Takashi Agera has posed:
    Riventon isn't entirely surprised that Chrono shoots him before the Jewel Seed has even been stopped. He is, however, slightly dissapointed.

    He's not as fast as Fate, so instead of dodging the shots he stops, raising a round shield and letting them ping into them. Outnumbered, again. He remembered encountering most of them but he knew Chrono and the Page Mage would directly give him hell. He had to at least count on Fate to try and secure the seed.

    "Do you have 'any idea' how frustrating you are?" Riventon asks as he drops his shield. "It's like stepping on an anthill. I was doing things too you know!" He says, and closes his eyes. "But every time I go after one of these things you come along, bringing with you a random selection of allies to boot."

    "If you want to fight me do it some other time, stop jumping on me when I'm busy!" Midchildan circles open up beneath him in the two-tone colorscheme that indicates Something Off About Them before he unleashes a heavy blast of inky darkness from his hand at Chrono, a semiliquid wave of Dark Energy and Midhcildan Magic.

    <<TINTENSCHWARZER SCHUSS.>> The blast is less quick, but it has those liquid properties - namely, like a gush of water, it splatters and potentially sweeps around more traditional shields, curving around objects in its path - and it's still not particularly slow, more like somebody opened a valve on an overpressured water system and it came rushing forth. Most notably, it's another new attack - another bit of evidence that Riventon is constantly working to improve his capabilities and extend his threat.

Fate Testarossa has posed:
    Fate blasts off the front of the car. This is all well and good. For her.
    Up until the sudden disorienting blast of flashing light and sound erupting right in front of her.
    Launched from the back of the car, Fate covers her eyes with a scowl as she flips backwards head over heels for a beat.

    Meanwhile Arf...
    Nearly skids to a halt when webs are shot in front of her.
    "Ack!"
    Until she realizes that it makes her go *FASTER*.
    "THANK YOU!" Arf calls out as she goes blitzing after her master.

    Fate lands on her feet in a crouch a moment later, rubbing the starbursts from her vision with a scowl.
    "I'm not backing off." She replies to Nanoha, though. "You know I have my reasons. I can't fail her."
    With that said, the blonde is suddenly a blur once again, running along the ground for a beat before she levitates off the pavement into full speed.
    [DEFENSER.] Bardiche pings, forming a shield of magic that eats several of Nanoha's shots before shattering.
    Fate grunts quietly as a bullet of pink light pelts into her side, making her veer off her course briefly before she whips around.
    [PHOTON LANCER!] her Device intones as she fires back several electrical bullets in a spread at Nanoha and Koji.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown couldn't help but smile at Riventon. "Believe it or not I have a pretty good idea of how annoying I am. If you'd like to leave, you could get back to your other work and leave this jewel seed to us, I wouldn't be offended," he said.

He held out his left hand, a shield forming and--

The attack started to move around it. His eyes went wide and, honestly? It was a testiment to how much he genuinely respected the mage that he was able to dodge it. Namely, as it started to move around his shield he kicked off it, leaping away from the blast and only getting a little on his barrier jacket. It sizzled a little while he floated there, his eyes locked on Riventon. "I see you learned a new trick, impressive Riventon."

            <<Stinger Ray!>>
            <<Stinger Snipe!>>

Three orbs went flying at Riventon, while one... went elsewhere. As it did that, he unleashed a flurry of machine-gun like magical blasts from his device, aiming them at Riventon. Those ones were designed to penetrate barriers, while the three small blue orbs circled and tried to come at him from different angles...

However, in the end? Most of it was a distraction. As it would only be a moment after he weathered this flurry of assaults, that the last of the stinger snipe balls would come hurtling out of a building near him, to try and strike him from behind while Chrono charged straight at him.

Unfortunately, he was too focused on Riventon to be able to notice Ahmya... helping Arf. Alas.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Well, now that the car is a decent amount slow *and* a good deal more damaged, Rashmi is able to catch up... incrementally... with the magical skirmish up ahead. And while Chrono may be too focused to notice Ahmya helping Arf, Rashmi... isn't.

    << Um... Aheh... Goldenweb-chan she's partnered with the little blond girl up ahead, um... who by the way *do not engage,* she's *terrifying* to figh--CRAP! >>

The moment Rashmi sees Fate summon the electrical bullets and move to launch them, she spares a moment to hurl a trio of wispy, foxfire-like balls of mana at Nanoha, Hanzo, and Ahmya for good measure, while throwing a quick << INCOMING, TWELVE O'CLOCK LOW! >> at Hanzo and Nanoha.

Now, it's time to perhaps get a little... tricky. With the possessed car speeding toward Goldenweb's golden webs, Rashmi draws in a deep breath, and locks onto the magical constructs.

    << *BONG!* >> << SOLAR BIND >>

With a barely audible *plink* *plink* *plink* a bright yellow light blossoms amid the webs, placed in the car's most likely point of contact with the next three webs; delayed-activation Ring Binds, to make the webs even *more* grabby.

Koji Silvia has posed:
One of the problems that comes up with launching yourself like an arrow is you don't have the ability like fliers to change direction or velocity so easily. But as Fate opens fire on himself and Nanoha, Koji whips his hand back to throw Hanzo's rope-Kunai form into the side of an in-Barrier building, and it immediately retracts and swings him off and away. Pointing his free hand back, the Device's voice intones:

    << DISRUPTOR BURST! >>

Another explosion fires off in the air between both himself and Nanoha, and the incoming fire. This time instead of being like a flashbang grenade, it's like chaff being fired from an aircraft, errant and volatile motes of energy that glimmer like silver, giving a change of causing those Bullets to change course or detonate prematurely.

He doesn't get all of the ones aimed at him, and Fate at least can see one hit on Hanzo's Barrier Jacket, causing a cascade of electricity to arc over Koji's form and leave him momentarily shocked.

Shaking it off takes him a half-second, and he says aloud, finally letting Fate know this is the someone who she tangled with months ago on the rooftops around Obsidian HQ, "There's more of us this time, and we'll work together. Take today as a loss, kid. You'll be doing yourself a favor."

    << PHANTOM SPLIT. >>

There's now a Hanzo leaping off the building across the road to the car, one swinging up to the building rooftop, and one running along the side of another building connected to a wire-rope. But now which one is the real one...

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Goldenweb Yorotsuchi forms a bunch of sticky webs in front of the vehicle... followed by Rashmi throwing a bunch of ring binds in front of it. Combied with the damage to it, This starts to slow it considerbly as the car is now moving...well it's still moving fast. but more 'Busy Highway' fast. Just a bit more. Or maybe it can be ended sooner now. Who knows.

Nanoha Takamachi watches as Fate leaves the car. Nanoha Takamachi remains standing on the passenger seat as she watches the incoming shots, eyes going wide. She gets a speed up, which she uses to quickly shoot into the air, keeping a fast hover over the car as she then raises a round shield. Luckily, much of Hanzo's chaff catches some of the shots, but a few still impact her round shield before it fizzes out and she takes a hit to the shoulder with a 'yelp!' causing her to land back down on top of the slowing car.

She then calls a series of larger shot barrets and calls out "Divine Shooter!", the shots all lancing out in different arcs towards Fate as she frowns. "..." she has nothing else to say right now to Fate's words on her mother. She wouldn't wanna dissapoint her own mother either.

Chrono's got Riventon it seems like. Or Riventon has Chrono? One of the two. It's fine.

Arf understandably gets worried about the webs! ... Which Yorotsuchi doesn't worry too much about. She was used to it. "You're welcome!" She says, as she also zips towards the car! Using the same room after Arf, in fact. Which does put her pretty close to Arf herself! ... Wait.

...Wolfgirl.

"Are you a familiar?" She asks towards Arf.

"I kind of hope not because you seem nice and I don't really want to be on opposing sides."

Aaaand as she asks Arf that, Rashmi confirms that the girl she just boosted is an opponent. ...She actually looks sad for a moment, that one eye looking towards Arf. "..."

She reaches for her odachi, which she'd left hanging from her back this whole time, the tap of her geta shifting. Becoming almost... more... threatening? When the boost hits her, the energy boost manifests in the form of a streak of golden energy flowing out from underneath her covered eye.

"I apologize."

"I'm going to give you a chance. Disengage, leave things as they are. I understand that is hard, but I promise we will not do serious harm to your master."

It wasn't a promise she could really make, but she was sure they wouldn't actually injure her... right? Just drive her off. It's fine. Probably.

She traces her fingers along the length of the odachi as she boosts her speed again, this time much stronger... to get ahead of Arf. She was tempted to engage her, but there was still a bigger threat.

The jewel-seed-enhanced car.

And she layers two...three...four speed boosts in a row, each one moving her faster... faster... faster... until she can approach the car at an angle from the side, leaping into the air.

"GET AWAY FROM THE CAR!"

She calls out as she reaches the top of her leap.

And then comes down, the edge of her odachi glowing as she brings it slicing down along with a wave of golden energy.

To attempt to simply... cut off the front of the car that had the engine on it.

She was apparently done with trying to slow it down to stop it. Slowing it down wasn't working as well as she had patience for. And that barrier was only so large.

Fate Testarossa has posed:
    Fate now has to deal with both Nanoha and Koji.
    This is all well and fine as she waves and dodges pink fire like a Touhou protagonist. She can't quite tell which Koji is the REAL one so she simply fire electrical energy bullets in a wide spread at as many targets as she can while...

    IT'S ARF AT THE CLUTCH!

    "Yeah!" She replies brightly to Yorotsuchi while boooking it full tilt after the car. She sure is a familiar.
    "Sucks right?"
    Before she slams her palms into the pavement.
    Chains of orange light snap out from her fingers, lashing out to try and bind and slow the car down.
    "Nope!" She says then, not taking Yorotsuchi's offer to disengage.
    "If you think I'm not going to help Fate... You've got another thing coming!"
    She's not as fast as the others...
    But she can try and slow the car to stop the chaotic rampage and let people fight over the Jewel Seed after that.

    Riventon growls in a sort of animalistic, nonverbal way as Chrono refuses to take the hint and back off. There's the spider girl, one or possibly two technoninjas, Chrono and his Shield, and the girl that's always harassing Fate.

    Riventon needs to put somebody on their back, and now, or the numbvers are just going to overwhelm him. Like it or not, he's no Queen Beryl (yet) and can't quite overtake the numbers advantage here himself. And... even if he pulls out all the tops and wins, Precia's just going to take the stupid crystal away anyways. Frankly, not an appealing prospect. What if he burns all of his energy here and then the last Rainbow Crystal appears? He'll have to give the stupid thing to Precia and then he'll end up an ice cube in Beryl's office for the trouble. Or on the run. Either way, not exactly a future he wanted to risk.

    But he had a deal with Precia, too. He couldn't just leave. Also Fate would be worried or even hurt that he didn't go hard and help her get what her mother wanted.

    Chrono, though, did present him with an option, albeit a slightly unpaletable one.

    Riventon put up his shield, but the last ball wasn't entirely necessary as Riventon shifted the energy from the shield to his barrier jacket - meaning the shield shattered under the assualt and then each of the orbs hit Riventon. Because he had decided to take a dive, instead of expending too much energy on a fight he was reasonably sure he wasn't going to win today. Sorry, Fate. But avoiding becoming Beryl's office decoration is higher on his personal list than Precia smiling. If the woman even could.

    So the bright blue energy impacts Riventon and he sort of rolls with the impact to make it seem like less of it was absorbed by his jacket than truthfully was, and puts his hand over the struck area so that he can use Dark Energy to make a sort of smoke radiate off of it. "What the hell did you hit me w-" and then the last attack, the one that came from behind, that Riventon wasn't ready for, hits him square in the back and peppers his fake anguish with the real thing.

    Riventon just unloads a string of profanity at Chrono and Duskports out in the middle of his own rant. Well, maybe it'll make the boy overconfident. Assuming he didn't notice the ruse.

Koji Silvia has posed:
Thanks to the Speed Boost that Rashmi provided to Koji, the three 'Hanzos' are moving much better than they normally would, giving them the agility to dodge the erratic and incoming fire, but that still does not stop Hanzo #2 from getting hit in the back and being dissolved from the impact of the electrical spell. However, since one Hanzo is a duplicate, it's hard to tell about the others!

Hanzo #1 lands in front of Arf as she's maintaining her spell and makes a backhand swing with the dagger-shaped Device he's holding in his left hand, in an attempt to stall her out by making her think that some ninja-dressed Device user is going to cut her throat!

This leaves 'Hanzo #3' to release his rope-dart from the rooftop to drop down towards Fate with an attack of his own until the bolt comes right at him and says, "Oops. You got me!"

Another vanishes!

Will the real Koji Silvia please stand up?

He does in fact, as he appears from under the Phantom Split's distracting cloak on the road, and points his Device at the free-wheeling vehicle.

A bolt of multi-colored energy fires off to splash against the vehicle. This one is pure Degrade magic, meant to muddy the flow of power from the Jewel Seed to the car, and loosen it's hold... to buy a chance for someone else to swipe it away.

Chrono Harlaown watched the blasts go through the barrier with... startling ease. Yes, they were designed to penetrate the barriers, but for Riventon to go down so easily? As he started to ask what he'd been hit by, Chrono was already preparing for the real attack.

Every battle between the two had been a fast paced game of feints, counters and distractions...

Yet, for him to go down so easily? That had to mean it was a cl--

Then the cry of actual anguish. And follow up cursing.

What?

Chrono was bewildered, to say the least. Riventon wasn't a push over, not in the slightest. And yet... Yet he'd gone down. He'd been taken down. With EASE. And he just dusk ported away. He'd expected this to be the opening fight. But...

But it was all a trick? He looked around, scanning for some sign of the other boy, but nothing. Well, THAT was disconcerting. What could he be doing here that he valued more than a jewel seed? Or was he just being paranoid? Was it possible that Riventon was already spent? He had heard the boy was involved in a lot of things...

But still. His experiences with Riventon led him to believe that nothing was ever as simple as it appeared and he seriously doubted this time was any different. Which was amusing, as he wasn't. He turned and started flying after the others, but it would be a while before he caught up.

Still flying to catch up to the poor car -- though thanks to everyone's combined efforts, 'catching up' is much easier -- Rashmi's eyes flick over the situation... Arf attempting to support her master, Ahmya at the front of the car, Hanzo screwing with Fate and scattering, and Nanoha *right there...*

One can almost *hear* the slide-rack noise, as Rashmi summos another half-dozen Barrets, that spin in vertical orbit around her head, *crack* into ice globes... And the rapid-fire assault begins the moment Ahmya clears the car.

Her Barrage has no tracking function to speak of, and Rashmi is simply 'walking' her fire back and forth over the car, the road ahead of it, and the road behind it, attempting to bleed off the last ergs of momentum, allowing Nanoha the chance to seal the Seed causing all this havoc once and for all.

The car is slowing..slowing and---

Goldenweb slashes down and disconnects the front of the car from the rest of it and the front goes racing off! Sparking as the metal drags along the ground...for a few more many feet before it spins out and comes to a stop. The back? Also continues like this before it spins out and comes to a stop.

As others engage Fate, Nanoha, who is a little dizzy having remained on the car like a smart person* can look down and.. oh....! The Jewel Seed! Inset in the middle of the steering wheel! She points Raising Heart at it.

"Seal...!"

Raising Heart bongs and starts sealing the now slowly inerting Jewel Seed as it phases out of existence and Raising Heart responds < Jewel Seed III, Internalized! >

Nanoha Takamachi quickly, and VERY quickly starts to fly away. "S..sorry, Fate-chan!" she sputters to Fate, before she starts basically running before anyone else can react!

The car has returned to it's former, rusted, inoperable state. Except it's in two pieces now.

Someone took thier Chevy to the levy. But the levy was dry.

     After her attempt on the car's life, Yorotsuchi would stand afterwards, letting what's left of the car continue on whatever path it was going to go, standing between Arf and the rest of the fight. She was helping to stop/slow the car too. In fact, everyone had been. It was strange, since technically there were two sides to this fight. It was chaotic. People were fighting people, the youma'd had... mixed focus. She gives a soft sigh as she holds her blade by her side at the ready, still glowing with that golden edge as she looks towards the familiar.

"I have a familiar too. Her name is Hachi."

Clack. Clack. Step. Step.

"The thought of putting her in danger makes my heart ache... of course, you seem more like a person than Hachi is."

She doesn't move to attack though. Even as scattered shots from Fate put her in the line of fire, she hadn't been targeted by any attacks or anything of the sort. "You really seem like a good familiar, too."

"I'm still pretty new at this whole fighting thing. It's why I've been focusing on stopping the car."

She takes a soft breath.

"Chrono, Rashmi... the others... they've got practice holding back."

"I have to do everything in my power to keep up with them."

"...But that's sparring. Everyone's holding back a lot. When things are more serious..."

"I don't know if I can hold back enough to avoid seriously injuring you."

There's a certain desperation in her eyes as she takes a somewhat shaky breath, before her voice comes out, this time softer, more pleading, "So please... don't make me fight you, familiar-san."

There's a bit of over-estimation of herself in that sentence while simultaneously understating herself.

Scatter, Goldenweb.

And she's very suddenly dashing forward, easily mistaken as an attack towards Arf, when instead she's just the most useful direction 'forward'... and in fact she'd even attempt to go THROUGH Arf... but it's a more of a tackle than a slash.

A poor decision, probably. But a decision she made nonetheless, to protect Arf? Or just because she was in the way? Who knows. Either way they'd both -- if the tackle was successful -- land in a web net to soften their fall.

...And due to the situation, she'd just. Y'know. Hold onto Arf until the Jewel Seed was secured, if that tackle was successful. And, much like her source of her powers.

She was surprisingly strong.

Luckily, she doesn't have to hold Arf long, as the jewel seed is secured by Nanoha in the spinning, sparking, sraping mess of what used to be a whole car.

...And she'd just let Arf go. Assuming she even got hold of her to begin with.

No worse for wear, beyond possibly covered in a bit of sticky webbing that would dissolve into golden energy in a minute or so.

Fate Testarossa has posed:
    A lot happens.
    Riventon disengages, Koji has Fate distracted, Arf gets TACKLED.
    But in the end Nanoha gets the Jewel Seed and flees.
    "Tch..." Fate frowns as she disengages from the chase, landing atop another convenient light pole.
    Precia will not be pleased to hear of this.
    But more importantly, she levels her Device at Yorotsuchi.
    "... Let Arf go. Now. Please."
    Her tone is glacial. She doesn't want to hurt anyone. But her tone says it all. If any harm comes to Arf, she will open fire.
    And it will not be pleasant.
    Once Arf is free, she and Fate will take their leave.

Koji Silvia has posed:
As Koji watches the car reconvert itself back into just a rusty hunk of junk in two pieces and on two parts of the road, he turns his head to look towards Nanoha, Rashmi, Chrono, the new Golden-web girl, and then finally up to Fate.

Oddly, his expression is somber, even if it can only barely be made out from under the mask, and he says softly towards her, "Maybe one of these days we'll meet without fighting, kid. Until then... I hope nothing bad happens from this. Good Luck out there."

As he creates another one of those Shields he uses as a booster instead of their intended purpose, launching himself up and over the buildings, he looks back for a moment towards the others and then gives a wave before he just vanishes in mid-air.

On the Device-driven telepathic link, he says, however, <<Let the familiar go. Let them both go. She's a soldier in a fight she shouldn't be in, but we can at least show her we're better than what she's going home to. Maybe someday she'll come around.>>

He then glanced to Rashmi and... << Just know this goes against everything I have ever been trained to do. >> he told her directly before landing down near them. "Go ahead, Goldenweb. Let her go." Slow, deep breath, turn his gaze to Fate... and then... "So, after our fight... we often go get something to eat. Ramen or the like... you and your familiar are welcome to join us if you like."

He didn't have his device in an offensive manner...

BUT SO MANY INSTINCTS JUST SCREAMED TO PUT! HER! INTO! THE! DIRT! INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! STOP HER NOW! GAHHHHHHH!

"It's okay if you don't want to," she says, lowering a hand to find Chrono's hand, and squeeze. "But the offer's open, okay?"

And, wordlessly, Fate and Arf depart. And while that may be a bit disappointing, Rashmi does turn and wrap her arms around Chrono for just the biggest hug.

Luckily she'd already planned to let Arf go, when Fate made the order, she did, in fact, just do that. It wasn't in a release and put her arms up kind of way, but it was over, and she gets back up out of the web net she'd caught the two of us in.

And Chrono agreed with letting Arf go. She takes a slow breath, as Arf and Fate leave. A tremble to her as she did. Her grip on her odachi leaving her knuckles white. She slowly shifted it back behind her, hanging it off of a string of golden thread.

She closes her one eye, giving a slow exhale as that tremble fades.

"Getting something to eat sounds good. ...Assuming it's still there, I had a bucket of some crabs and stuff, though I imagine it's been gotten to by the birds by now." She says softly. "...There should still be the shells though." Hopefully not of the crabs and such. Just the pretty ones.

"It's harder when they're not just monsters we're fighting." She mumbles under her breath.
She glances around quietly, before closing her eyes, flipping her hat down over her head... and dismissing her henshin, back to her pink-and-black pentagram swimsuit.

"...Oh, right." .... "I might need to get changed before we go to food."
