Siege of the Twin Fires

Synopsis:	The two flameborn clones attack Cafè BAKE Neko, expecting an easy victory, and they get a sound lesson for their trouble, courtesy of Cure La Licorne, Rocket Magical Girl Red, Snow Angel Mou Fubuki, Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Venus, Sailor Moon, Kunzite and Yukihime.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Not long after Veronica had managed to contact her friends, it had been decided it would have been a good thing to get her acquainted with the cat cafè in her current form. Probably the other best place for her given her current circumstances.

There was hardly any reason to suspect anything more from a cat in a cat cafè, since she wouldn't have gone around begging customers for food (nevermind that speaking was currently beyond her). And there were also a lot of mahous around generally, so it was also quite safe on the magical girl.

There was no need to toss her in the hubbub of the Cafè Bake Neko clientele right away, and so it's now the locale's after hours, and the building is closed to anyone that's not the owner and associated friends. The best time to have a talk in complete tranquility, right? Well, those mahoujin are going to be needed in about a second.

"What are you hanging around here for?", a raven-haired girl peers down at the red-haired girl from the top of a building. She closes her right hand in a fist while her left lays flat.

"Hoping to find a spot in this city away from you. You'd think it would be easier with how big it is", the fake Sunbreaker sneers, still looking at the front of the cafè. "No, really, what do you think I am here for, lamebrain? I think they chose this place for her. I saw a cat just like the one we turned her into being brought here", she clicks her tongue.

The Mars coated by greed atop the building grits her teeth in a frown and jumps down at the side. "Very funny, here you show your maturity." A column of flame surrounds her and when it dissipates, she stands in a white and dark crimson sailor uniform.

Dark flames radiate as an aura surrounding her body. "What a mistake, bringing her to some random cafè in Juuban. If she really is in there, all we got to do is threaten to burn this place down and instead of trying to escape again, she will come out by herself, without us lifting a finger."

The fake Sunbreaker looks a bit more at the cafè. She doesn't mention the chance of her having being wrong about the Princess of Sarek having been brought here and she nods, her flowing hair catching on fire and a horn of dark energy appearing on her forehead, and crimson pupils burning bright in the middle of black sclera.

"Maybe you being here isn't a total waste after all." Assuming she won't find some other way to become a hindrance. "Well, what will be, little kitty of Sarek? Why don't you try defending your precious ward now?" she raises her voice. "If you don't come out, we are going to offer a redecoration for this place, and it will actually be free. Isn't that unlike us?"

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
    Last time Mou Fubuki had spoken to the person-turned-cat, she was asked to go trace the dark energy trail. Unfortunately, Mou isn't that great of a tracker. Fortunately, it seemed like she somehow managed to pick the trail back up today.

    Holding out her snowglobe in front of her in both hands, reading the swirls of the dancing snowflakes within, she walks towards the cat cafe. Her improvised, jury rigged magical toy is leading her to... where exactly?

    "It's nearby," she says, pursing her lips. She looks around for anything obviously dark energy powered. "I can't... quite center it? Well, it's somewhere around here. I think..."

    Mou looks through the window of the cat cafe, wondering if anyone would be dastardly enough to attack a few cute little kittens?

    Nah. No one is that evil.

    Laisa suddenly hears a voice, looks up, sees a person covered in flames and...

    Oh. Apparently someone is that evil.

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana is sitting her dorm room alone and decides for the moment she doesn't want to be alone. Where was Veronica nominally staying again? Ah that cat cafe...

So here she is. In front of it, in what she considers full hazard gear. pants tucked into socks! A long sleeve shirt! Gloves. In which the long sleeves are tucked into- she looks utterly dorky, BUT She can't accident harm a cat. Excellent.

She is about to approach when she hears... Hinoiri and Sailor Mars yelling at the cat cafe?

She turns her head and frowns a little. "Oh."

She takes off her gloves. And shakes her hands. "Miserable creatures. No one will care if you live or die! SO LET ME HELP YOU ON YOUR WAY!" she says angrily as she points.

"Suffer."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
The cafe isn't actually run by Mamoru, of course - he just rents it to the team that does, which naturally means he and certain people have access to the place after close. Usagi Tsukino is, naturally, one of those people, cheerfully gorging herself on the snacks that will otherwise spoil before morning - Japan loves fresh foods, after all!

"Veronica-chan, omnom, these ones are egg and salmon, I think that means you can eat them, ommmm yummy," the treats in the cafe are almost entirely allium free, for the sake of the cats! Which means she can safely let Veronica have one (1) of the egg bites.

"Mmmm, even the things Makochan doesn't make here are so good..."

Yes, there's a study group going on. She's on a break! Her text books are right over there, see, they're over there, she's going to do more homework, just after these well-earned treats -

And that's when there's a shift in the air, that new sense of darkness about, and she frowns, turning her head towards the doors.

"Did... did you all hear that? Feel that?"

And then, through the darkness, there's flames visible outside the cafe, and well now she knows she heard that.

Usagi Tsukino hurriedly throws herself up, calling her transformation.

"Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!"

Striking a pose, she takes a moment to turn to her friends -

"Chibiusa is sleeping upstairs. Anyone who wakes her up is gonna answer to me, so let's handle this quietly, okay!"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara had, unfortunately... a lot on her mind recently. Molly dying was... rough. It hurt. But she got through the time loop! And... then Double Trouble dumped her. And... yeah. It was... strange. How peaceful she felt despite all of it. She'd spent so long feeling like she was walking on an ever shifting, always crumbling road... Now she was grounded and it hurt, but it didn't break her.

And now she was a pretty cure. She had power. Turned out that anger and rage CAN be used to help people.

But now, tonight? There was one thing on her mind. One thing that, she knew was silly. It was nonsense.

... A kitty hissed at her! Sure, the poor thing had been overwhelmed and all.... but kitties almost NEVER got mad at her (save the hammer that turned into a kitty and we didn't talk about that). And she'd ended up scaring the poor thing when there were so many people around... She felt so guilty. And it wasn't like you could just TELL a kitty you were sorry. How did you even DO that? Give it treats? She didn't know where it was. It was like... accidentally walking on your cat's tail and wanting to apologize to it for the next month but you can't even find it so how can you apologize?!

Sure, in the grand scheme of things it was minor, but it still made her feel guilty. One day, somehow, she would FIND that kitty and she would GIVE IT A PETTING and TREATS! And apologize for upsetting it, and she would feel slightly better maybe!

And what in Tartarus was she doing outside of Mamoru's cat cafe and WHY was she with one of the senshi and WHY was she threatening to burn it down?

She blinked a few times and just... stared... like she had walked in on something... weird.

And... Now Norie was there. Well. Considering that she was yelling about suffering, she had to guess that Riventon's research had not yet born fruit.

And now there was Sailor Moon and others and... What. The actual. Buck.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Well Miho is walking around at the moment. She's kinda nervious about a few tests coming up, and her new mix isn't quite hitting right. The fairly rookie mahou is starting to hit her stride in using her abilities, and helping other ls though.

    Miho is checking her phone at the moment as she puts in her airbuds. She's close to the cafe as she hits play on an older mix. Its the first one she did as a mahou. Krono War. Its a mix she made after Molly, Laura, and Miho fought and beat Chrono while protecting Fenix. She bobs her head a bit as she turns the corner.

    The woman blinks a little bit as she sees black flames. That can't be good? And isn't that...cafe a mahou safe area? The woman closes her eyes before her breathing slows. A breath of blue fog comes out of her mouth. "Youkai Musume. Yukihime.", she breathes out. She holds out her left hand after henshining, and 4 of her prayer beads fly out, and her magic gathers in the beads forming the wolves to surround Yukihime.

Minako Aino has posed:
Studying. Oh god studying. Minako had so much work to catch up on from her time away from Japan, far too much, and the stacks of books around her almost buried her from sight. It certainly kept her from enjoying the pleasant attentions of the cats that were around. It also didn't help that there was a bossy white cat seated atop one pile of books watching her like a hawk to make sure she was studying.

"But it's break time," Minako whines to Artemis as she tries to sneak over to where Usagi is chowing down in the hopes she can swipe at least ONE snack herself. "That means snacks, and breaks, and catching up on the latest celebrity gossip news!"

A hand sneaks closer to Pile of Snacks.

Artemis swats at her head causing her red hair bow to bounce in response from the motion and she gives a weary sigh. If only something would happen that would free her from this torment!

Then it does happen and she bolts to her feet knocking over the stack of books in her hurry.

"OH THANK GOD! I mean, uh, 'Venus Prism Power, Make Up!"

Venus joins by Sailor Moon's side soon enough!

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Even without the magical elements, the building isn't without security. Kazuo is not in the cat cafe. Kazuo is up watching the feeds from the security cameras, as he generally is when there is a visiting tiny pink-haired one. Which means that the people he knows are in the building and are potential defenders get a message just before the shouting starts:

    column of fire on neighboring rooftop

And then he's up and moving, and it's Kazuo who enters the stairwell, and it's Kunzite who slips quietly out onto the roof, shadows cloaking him for a moment so all that white hair isn't a giveaway of his position.

He doesn't draw attention to himself. There's a lot of fire over there. He may need to concentrate on that not becoming a lot of fire over here.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"You definitely don't want to wake her up," Mamoru agrees after checking his buzzing phone. A text from Kazuo telling him there's a column of flame came just after Usagi asked if anyone felt that!

"Earth Prism Power, Make Up!" he calls as he gets up, and then as he's transforming he calls out quietly-ish, "Anko? Can you help get everyone into the back?" Yes, get the cat to help herd cats.

But he does go through the entrance 'airlock' -- the double doors that make it a little easier to keep kitties corralled. He pushes his way out those doors, cape flaring behind him, and stage whispers, "DON'T WAKE THE BABY."

Amanda Faust has posed:
    There were a lot of good reasons to bring Veronica here. Most importantly, that it's a space intended for habitation by cats AND humans, ensuring that Veronica can get essentials like food and water without having to beg a friend for help, and has space to roam without constantly running into obstacles like doors, and ALSO, a lot of friends live upstairs.

    Amy has thought even further ahead, and is hoping they can set up some kind of communication station with a computer for Veronica to use, and also to get her a collar and tag so no one will mistake her for a stray outside the cat cafe and try to take her home, but... one thing at a time, it seems.

    She's with Usagi and Veronicat, explaining all this to them, and...

    Like, it's not a good thing that this happened to Veronica? But also Amy seems to be in her element, having considered more about the issues of 'suddenly ending up in a different body', especially as a cat, than... anyone else they know. Usagi might remember her talk about monster towns as a metaphor for accessibility a couple Halloweens ago, and it seems she really does seriously think about this sort of thing...

    She did not expect that Veronica's enemies would assume she would actually seek shelter in a cat cafe, though. The people outside threatening to attack are... this is all kinds of bad news. At least if they defeat them, maybe they can turn Veronica back sooner than expected!

    Amy runs for a back door and transforms as Usagi warns them to be quiet. "Not really an option, sorry!"

    Moments later, Magical Rocket Girl Red steps out of an alley: "How DARE you!? Attack our friends' home like this... and innocent people! Children! Kitties! Will you stop at nothing?! Are you hoping for an early grave!?"

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Veronica is not actually settled yet, but she is mostly at ease now that people know who she is and what is going on, and she does accept the treat Usagi is giving her with a bow of her head. She does small, awkward bites at it with the demeanour of someone who isn't quite used to eating, but the treat is tasty and she gives the blonde girl a thankful meow. Assuming Anko is around to translate for her.

Her ears flick back at hearing the call of the two clones, quite loud in fact. She certainly did not think they would have been here so soon, and she looks concerned at Usagi, before scampering to the corner of a window and peering outside. Those are them alright. She looks at Usagi, pleading silently that she stays safe first.

"Yeah, I don't think you can make that happen, you know?", the fake Mars shows a ball of fire to Norie. She did not expect resistance so soon, but if they want to fight that's fine. That odious school protects them no longer. "If you want to, I would always be glad to give you directions. Especially the girl that actually looks lost", she points to Mou Fubuki.

Then they are getting reprimanded!? By a girl in a sailor suit? "I think that one is for you still", the fake Sunbreaker smiles to Sailor Mars. "Maybe you are best pals, why don't you invite her somewhere? You can also bring her little sister so she doesn't wake up." If only she knew how complicated the truth was.

The fake Mars doesn't reply to her reluctant ally and she just looks at Usagi. "Just give us the princess of Sarek and that kid can sleep as much as she wants."

Then Sailor Moon is joined by Sailor Venus instead and the fake Mars just sighs. "I don't suppose that would work, would it? I am sure we could find a nice place while my goth colleague takes cares of things" Too many mahous here for her taste, and if she can get these two out while their guard is low, all the better.

Then a guy in a tuxedo too shows up to stage whisper to them about the baby, and both of them are actually shocked people would assume they are gonna care about that sort of thing.

The fake Mars and Sunbreaker actually look at each other then at a nearby window to make sure they hadn't each written something as a prank on their foreheads. Ok, no prank.

"The redhead is right", they reply at the same time, a thing that make them shiver with disgust. "That's not an option." And then the Sunbreaker clone shows Amy a burning hand. "Yes, yours, if you don't get out of the way. Just give the girl we cursed to us and we are done."

Mars points to Yukihime, taking note of her ice aura. "She especially should be careful. We don't want her to get all melty on us. Drying our clothes sucks, let me tell you that."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Don't worry, Veronica-chan," Sailor Moon says, reaching out and petting Veronica with a careful hand. "We're not letting have you, or touch this place."

And then she'd walk out the cafe, crossing her arms and staring daggers at Fake Sailor Mars and Fake Sunbreaker.

"We're not giving you the Princess of Sarek, and if you were half as smart as the real Mars, you'd know that. But I guess I shouldn't expect much from a copy who had to split her brains with Fake Sunbreaker, too."

Mean? Yes. Deserved? Oh, absolutely, yes.

"Moon Healing Escalation!"

A golden circle of light is carved in the air, and silver beams of purifying light fly for Fake Sailor Mars and Fake Sunbreaker.

"This is the last place you should have ever come! In aa place where people come to relax and cats live their best lives, you fakes will regret your whole lives!"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara blinked a few times as... well... She... oh. Well. Huh.

Girl they cursed? It seemed the girls were going to do some talk... ing... Girl... they cursed? Like... she'd... cursed Molly? Oh... Oh she didn't know who this was, but...

She just dipped back a bit, moving around the corner. The LAST thing anyone needed was Norie finding out she was a pretty cure now.

And a few moments later, Cure La Licorne was on a nearby nearby roof and... as Sunbreaker did the whole threatening thing... Cure La Licorne dropped down right in front of her. Left hand reached out to grab her flaming wrist and her right hand just shot out, delivering a patented pretty cure punch!

And then she let the wrist go.

... Dang it. It *did* feel as good as the others said. She then leaped away and over, bounding off the nearby wall and running after the girl, giving the others a free path to launch their own attacks and making sure she's out of the way for the healing escalation.

She also gave the others a small wave, but didn't say anything cause, well... She's a bit far away from them. She'd need to yell and there's a baby sleeping.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
    Mou Fubuki looks at the vampire girl nearby saying obvious dark energy words and wonders, for a moment, if she's on the right side.

    Then again, Norie isn't -wrong-, and she also isn't the one attacking adorable innocent kitty cats.

    A cold wind picks up, blowing Mou's hair behind her. Laisa whispers under her breath, and those magically aware can hear it on the wind. "Oh? I'm not lost. Well, actually... I was, but I think now I found what I was looking for." She looks at the false Mars and false Sunbreaker, whispering, "No wonder I couldn't pinpoint you. There are two..."

    The air chills further as little snowflakes swirl around. An icy pair of wings starts to grow out of Mou Fubuki's back as she raises one hand to the sky.

    "If you don't like the cold..."

    A large snowball appears over her head, gathering more and more ice and snow until it becomes as wide as she is tall.

    "... then stay out of the blizzard!"

    She snaps her fingers, and the snowball implodes into a giant icicle that explodes into a hundred small fragments, launching themselves at the False Mars.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Rude!" the boy in the tuxedo calls, irritably. He springs up and vanishes into the darkness of night--

...

(After bouncing over a few roofs getting further away, Mamoru drops down to the streets to lose line of sight, then comes back around to his own roof -- behind Kazuo -- and whispers, "I'm just gonna let Chibiusa know it's not the Black Moon Clan," then drops down the side of the building to do just that.)

...

After a little while and a lot more action on everyone else's part, Tuxedo Kamen jumps back from some other roof. And then he silently throws a rose at Fake Sunbreaker's hand. Because you know what?

They woke the baby.

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus reaches down to tug off a loop of hearts interlinked together around her waist forming a belt. A belt which lights up with energy as she catches the length between her hands revealing the Love Me Chain she so often fought with.

"If you can't keep it under wraps, then we'll just wrap you up!"

Sailor Moon was already throwing Moon Healing Escalation so she just waits a breath trying to time it for if either of those fakey fakers dodged. THEN she lashes out adding her own attack into the fray, whipping the length toward them.

"LOVE ME CHAIN!"

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Kunzite gives Tuxedo Kamen a silent nod to the whisper, and stays quiet and down. There is a lot going on down there right now. He's just on guard, in case he's needed to be a fire brigade.

Granted, there's also a lot of potential fire to be thrown. But it hasn't been yet.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime mutters about it just having to be a fire villian. Of all the things. The wolves stay close to Yukihime. If one looks a bit closer, they can still see the prayer beads floating around. Yukihime looks at Mars. "Please...keep talking.", the mahou smirks. Its a bluff, but still!

    Yukihime lifts her right hand. She blows some snow out of her hand, and it forms several animals. A snow fox, snow monkey, and several bunnies. The monkey hops on the fox's back, who runs to the door to the cafe. The moneky opens the door, as the bunnies run it with the fox and moneky. Just...what is Yukihime doing with Friends of the Forest.

    The Ice Mahou blinks as she sees the icicles from above. So lets add her own. She summons her ice bow. "Blizzard of Arrows.", she calls out as she fires an ice arrow at Fake Mars. It shatters into hundreds of shards, looking to catch Fake Sunbreaker. The Wolves move in front of Yukihime.

Amanda Faust has posed:
    The redhead who said quiet wasn't an option disappeared in back, she must be a civilian!

    The one stepping out of the alley is yet another sailor-suited heroine, albeit one in a very different style. Did she mess up a goth look? Is she planning to distract them by making them rant about bad fashion sense? Over a sleeveless, midriff-baring navy blue school uniform is a black sleeveless duster with matching black boots and arm and leg stockings.

    It's not like they know who Magical Rocket Girl Red is or her typical outfit anyway. When fake sunbreaker threatens her with a burning hand, she scoffs. "Please. I bet you're not a tenth what the real Sunbreaker was."

    She starts conjuring a series of bat- and hammer-like weapons, most of which have some sort of odd structure or a visible launch tube at the end, a pink sparkly effect each time she changes it, getting a feel for the weight and balance of such things.

    "So let me get this straight: You had the opportunity to take her down and you turned her into a cat instead of capturing or killing her? Or did you capture her and turn her into a cat, which I'll grant is a hell of a way to mess with someone you don't like, and then she escaped from you while turned into a cat because you're just that bad at holding onto captives?"

    She cycles to a big heavy sledgehammer with holes in it. Then to a hammer with a big square head with a silvery spike on each side and launch ports in the corners. She looks over to Sailor Moon. "Don't you mean the last place they will ever come?"

    And then she sees Cure La Licorne grab and punch the one who just taunted her, and she holds up the hammer and rocket thrusters ignite -- and slam it into the pavement, oops, but she quickly hops onto it, holding it upside down and standing on the head as rockets fire out the OTHER side, now propelling her towards Sunfaker!

    At the last split second, she steps off and reverses thrust again, the hammer swinging around her in a rocket-propelled arc to try and spike the bacon-haired fake into the pavement! "Ooh, meteor smashes are always so satisfying!"

    She lands nearby a bit unsteadily, that being a... somewhat tricky maneuver to improvise!

    She'll just have to get in a lot more practice. Right now! She grins.

    Well, waking the baby wasn't HER fault, at least!

Veronica Perenna has posed:
Sunbreaker doesn't have enough time to react when she is caught by Cure La Licorne and all she can say is "Who..." with the fire in her hand not actually forming the attack. There is plenty of time for the fist to connect with the fake's face and if La Licorne lets go after hitting, the clone will spin around some before hitting the ground dizzily, away from Sailor Moon's purification beam destined for her.

"Fine then", the fake Mars scowls when she sees Sunbreaker go down at the hand of a magical girl that isn't above sneak attacks. Guess they really aren't honour-bound or idealistic or somesuch. Too bad for them. They should have accepted their peace offering. Even if it wasn't real.

"You really want to hit the face of your friend, then. I wonder what that says about you", the Mars of Greed tries to misdirect her, second before she is hit by the Moon Healing Escalation and starts screaming in pain. She is sizzling from the purification. "Curse you! We are going to dismantle you as a trial round for that ward!" she throws an arrow of fire to Sailor Moon. Without a bow.

"Why do I have to do this?" the false Mars laments as she creates a screen of fire to protect the two of them from Mou Fubuki's blizzard. She kind of needs Sunbreaker to get up now, as much as she would have liked to leave her to it.

Even so, while she does a remarkably good job against the blizzard itself, the fire screen has become thin enough that the icicles have no problems passing through and hitting her all over, a look of torture when she still forces herself to keep standing despite it.

Sunbreaker did get back up in the meanwhile and with a furious scream she throws a fireball of fire upwards, that borrows a page from Mou Fubuki's book and splits into a rain of fire. "A rose, really?" she smirks when she sees the projectile coming, and is about to jump out of the way when Venus' Love Me Chain wraps itself around her arm, locking her in place and making them experience Tuxedo's rose.

"Harghhh! How come it hurts so much!?" she screams, pulling at the chain. "Enough!" she shouts, using her other hand to send fire through the chain towards Venus.

"It's her fault!" the two clones scream and point at each other when Amy questions them. They glare at each other and scoff. "We had gotten her powerless and we could finally end her right there when Sunbreaker tried to do the same and got in my way!" Mars of Greed scowls.

"As if, you would have failed in some dumb way, I was totally going to do better before you messed up my attack!" Sunbreaker snarls at the other clone. "It's your fault we are in this mess!" Which nets her a punch from fake Mars that sends Sunfaker right in the way of Yukihime's arrow, striking her through. Away from Amy's hammer, unfortunately.

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
... there. Kunzite lifts hands, up in his perch, and a bubble of shadow manifests between the false Sunbreaker and Venus. It doesn't affect the chain. What it does do is consume the fire and the fire's heat, keeping the attack from reaching Venus.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
    Mou Fubuki glances over to Yukihime and takes note of a fellow snow-person. Could this be a kindred spirit?

    A rain of fire is mixing with the cold of her blizzard, creating slush and steam as the hot and cold struggle for dominance. As widespread as Mou Fubuki's cold is, it's not going to snuff out magical fire so easily. She's going to need another approach.

    Snow Angel flings her hands forward, spraying cold slush that freezes against the sides of the buildings, creating a path of ice forward. Then ice skates (made with real ice!) form at the bottom of her feet and, with a blast of cold air behind her wings, she skates up the wall, dodging past fire that races past her. A shield of ice forms in her hands as she ascends, turning into steam as fireballs impact it. Her wings of ice get torn off in the barrage.

    As she crests the side of the rooftop another gust of air lets her land on the edge. "So purification hurts you?" Another pair of icy wings forms behind her back, to replace the set that was lost. "You might be the first person in history to get burnt by snow."

    More snowballs appear around her, each the size of a baseball, coalescing and floating around her as they glisten with purifying energy. One by one, each snowball gets flung at Mars of Greed as Laisa tries to overwhelm her wall of fire.

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus grasps the chain in both hands giving a firm backward tug when Sunfaker starts to fight against it. The pause of the pair pointing fingers toward each other as to who was guilty for not finishing off the Princess of Sarek causes her to pause too with an eyebrow raising. "Wow they do bicker like Mars and-- WOOP!"

The fire was racing up along the chain that was wrapped around her fists. Her heels dig in bracing for impact when the sudden, familiar shadowy magic seems to coalesce along the chain and suck up the flames. Her eyes practically light up.

"You're both in for a bad time now!" She crows out. At least she's not so foolish as to give away Kunzite's location, or what she means by such a remark. For all they know it was HER magic that had soaked up the flames for the moment. Though it would make more sense to throw the chain away at this point she holds it so that Kunzite can soak up as much of the flames as he possibly can.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime didn't expect to hit with her attack. Meanwhile, sneaking out of the back of the cafe? The snow monkey is opening the doors from the back of the snow fox. The bunnies have snack foods gathered, and rushing back to Yukihime. All the animals melt as they return with the snacks. "Good job.", she nods.

    Yukihime puts the bow around her shoulder for a second as she lifts her hand again. She blows out some more snow, summoning a few bunnies to rush sugary foods over to those using magic. Yukihime herself has a cookie in her mouth, as she aims the bow again, firing several ice arrows at Sunfaker.

    "Wolves of the Capital, defend!", Yukihime orders. She points to the cat cafe, and the wolves move in front of the cafe. They set themselves up to intercept any attacks on the cafe, but this leaves Yukihime without any defense.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
There's so much fire that could potentially be Tuxedo Mask's problem, and he doesn't want it. But from where he is, he can see the dark bubble around the attack on Venus, and he grins. Then he does a backflip off that perch and lands beside Sailor Moon. He gives her a rakish grin. "Hello, pretty soldier, feel like a combo?"

He lifts a glowing hand and waves his fingers, eyebrows up.

Cure La Licorne was actually kind of enjoying this. She got to punch a jerk, then she got to jump out of the way and let everyone else follow up... It was pretty great. And now the two were fighting, heh.

Even better? Some people had praised her. Said this Sunbreaker wasn't as good as the real Sunbreaker and whatnot. Kind of.

Of course, then the rose to the hand and she let out a low, pained hiss, a hand moving to cover her own. Oh, that was... memory. Not a good one. Ow. Just... gonna need a moment. She leaped back, watching the two fighting and cocking an eye. She then whispered to Sailor Moon as she got close enough. "So, uhhhh... what exactly is going on? Why is there an evil version of me hanging out and hanging out with one of your girls? Is this a like... Lacuna and Stellar situation? Cause if so, just don't let her know."

Well, at least Sailor Moon would know who she was! So one of them can know she's definitely on their side... Well. Two of them. Amy knew.

Also, seriously, her hand... the memories, oh the memories...

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Saying that sounds super villainous, Red-chan!" It's a hissed comment, before Tuxedo Kamen gets back, as Amy asks if she meant this *will* be the last place they ever attack, and honestly it's true. Sailor Moon is not necessarily a big fan of the scary threats sort, even if they are cool to deliver in movies and games.

An arrow of fire is thrown her way, not fired from a bow, and she almost dives for the ground, then remembers that the cafe is behind her and puts her arms up instead, at the last moment -

"Wah!" Is the cry forced out as she takes the blow, flames singing her crossed gloves, but she shakes them out and brushes the soot off with a scowl.

"Hey! This is a newly painted building!" There's fire striking ice as the blizzard meets the fiery outbursts, resulting in slush, water, and steam appearing all around them, and as a bunny runs up to offer her a cookie she accepts it, only to pause -

"Is this from the cafe?!"

If not for Tuxedo Kamen jumping down at that exact moment, she'd have more to say, but instead she shoves the rest of the cookie in her mouth, resolving to make sure they pay for it later, and waggles her fingers at Mamoru.

"With you? Always~!"

She takes his hand, and to two of them both start to glow.

Amanda Faust has posed:
    Amy whiffs with her first rocket-propelled hammer meteor attack! "Aww, man!"

    The weapon goes to a war hammer-based form which she uses to casually point at today's assailants. "So it's your own fault and you just suck too much to even keep an incapacitated captive from escaping. Got it." she taunts, as she watches all the snow and fire going around and considers how to quietly get in and out of that mess to deliver quiet attacks.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
"Where did that come from now?" There is anger when Kunzite's bubble swallows the fire, and the fake Sunbreaker's incandescent eyes turn around, trying to find who is gobbling up her attacks now. She really thought all of them had been accounted for. She doesn't even want to go after Mars, not now there is this discovery to take her focus.

"I see you", she smirks confidently when she sees where Kunzite's presence is hidden. Really, if she hadn't been trying to search specifically for an extra person, she doesn't think she would have ever found him. "Got you now", she celebrates early, forming a spear of fire that she aims and launches at him right after.

Unfortunately she doesn't believe in Venus' diversion. Or rather, she decides that she'd prefer to give the Soldier of Love a breather than risk someone striking at them from the shadows. She'd better enjoy her breather, and she hopes someone else would in fact be there, else she is going to look even more foolish.

Meanwhile, the rain of fire doesn't actually get far, as Miho's wolves of the capital do an excellent job and holding out against it. There are even two of them that make it out safe and sound.

What was left of the false Mars' fire barrier has faded away to nothing under the inclement frost of Mou Fubuki's power, and the fire soldier's arms gets a pretty bad case of frostbite while she avoids getting directly hit by the snow attacks. Really, there is nothing worse than ice!

"What's the problem? We are just giving it a second hand of paint. I think that would look marvelous", the fake Mars sneers. "Wouldn't you accept this gift from one of your own?" Not that she is in a good position to actually gloat.

"I will take that", she smirks, stomping one of the bunnies under her heel and making a grab for the treat it was carrying. Not that it actually does her any good.

However Sailor Moon and Tuxedo are charging something, and that must not happen. "Now or never, eh", she grimaces, putting her last reserves into a sphere of fire towards the duo.

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
    Mou Fubuki is handed a cookie by a snow bunny. She glances down at the small rabbit and reaches down to pat its head. She wasn't paying close enough attention to know that it was stolen, so she tucks it into a pocket in her henshin parka. Now is not a time for snacks.

    "I got a question for you," she asks, shifting her gaze between Mars of Greed and Sunfaker. "Are you like... real? Or were you born from a curse?"

    The cold wind swirls around her, and her icy wings grow and spread wider, hanging off of her back and starting to crack slightly.

    "I guess if I don't know, that's what purification is for. I don't know what you expect to get out of this, but I'm not going to let you hurt the one you cursed."

    A mass of ice and snow forms over her head, winds rampaging around her and freezing the rooftop beneath her feet. Directing her magic with a pointing finger, she gestures at Mars of Greed and shouts, "SNOW HEART SOLSTICE!" launching the purifying mass of ice and snow at the fake fire senshi. Then she makes a similar motion towards Sunfaker and announces again, "SNOW HEART SOLSTICE!" sending a second magically cleansing blast of ice and snow her way.

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
That bubble of shadow around Venus's chain dissipates, as another form drops down by Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen - and their company, Cure La Licorne and bunny alike. "Radiant Dark Embrace!" Kunzite calls out, and his shields rise around them, to absorb that sphere of fire and prevent it from ... well ... probably from getting annhilated in passing, but certainly prevent it from distracting any of them. (Mostly Tuxedo Kamen. Fire bad.)

Cure La Licorne glanced down at the rabbit... cookie. She blinked. Glanced to Usagi. Then shrugged. "Uhhhh... thank you?" she said, taking the cookie and giving the snow bunny a pat on the head. She then popped the cookie in her mouth, and pulled out her heart rouge rod! The magical lipstick extending, and she... no, she doesn't kiss it. She boops it on her forehead. Well, she was La Licorne.

It doesn't leave a mark, though, instead the sun comes out from her brilliant locks, the beams of light from it erupting into blades of sunray blades, raining down on the pair!

"Scorching ray piercer!" She does, at least, try and whisper that. But with everything else going on... RIP Chibiusa's nap.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
With one hand in Tuxedo Kamen's, concentrating power, Sailor Moon summons her Spiral Heart Moon Rod into the other, swinging the rod in her off-hand carefully to get the feel for the swing...

And that's when Cure La Licorne is right there next to her, asking questions, and she's never seen her before, she must be new. Huh. Didn't Hinoiri say she was a new mahoujin too? Funny, how that worked.

"They're fakes who are after the Princess of Sarek, who is temporarily a cat hiding out in this cat cafe," she says simply, aware that it all sounds insane, "So it's not a - wait, have you been around since - wait an evil version of - HINOIRI?"

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUU actually know that made complete sense, thanks Mother, for your loving Veil.

"Uh, yeah, that's what it was - hold on a second, okay?"

Kunzite's shield goes up, welcome, and she lifts her head to the sky and grins.

Thanks, Kunzite. That feeling of love flows into her charging - love, and warmth, and the desire to protect her friends, to protect Mamoru's home, to keep Veronica safe, to make this fake stop smearing Rei's name - all of that flows and building into the power between them, sparkling and fresh and new.

There's an opening there, and she's taking it, because, as she looks fake Sailor Mars dead in the eye to say - "You're not one of my girls. Mars-chan is way meaner than you could ever hope to be."

Poor Fake Mars. She can't even be a better mean Mars than the original.

"Moon Smoking Heart Bomber!"

    Yukihime watches as two of the beads return to her. She would send all ten beads at the pair, but something makes her smile a bit more. Especially when Fake Mars steps on her bunny. Nobody steps on Bunny!

    "...Nobody steps on Bunny. I think...You need a time out.", Yukihime says. She raises her left hand, and recalls the other wolves. She breathes out, and silently chants her matra. The beads float around her wrist getting faster and faster. She points at Sunfaker and Fake Mars.

    The beads fly out around the pair, and all ten wolves surround. They all sit, and the let out a loud howl. "Capture.", Yukihime says. She closes her hand into a fist. All her magic pours into the beads, which then tries to slam into the pair to hold them in place for all the fun attacks coming. Yukihime watches the pair as she snacks on a...Snickers...

    Amy is also confused like Mou is, looking to Sailor Moon, then back to the two fakes as she throws...

    ...Did she just start throwing freaking glass bottles at them?! Oh, they're molotov cocktails. (Which vanish before hitting the street/buildings if they miss.

    ""Wait, aren't they like... monsters made by the artifact, or something? Otherwise why didn't Sunfaker's disguise go away when Tuxedo Mask hit her? Also they just said they tried to kill V-- Princess of Sarek."

    Seeing them focus on attacking Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, she's suddenly rocketing towards them with a hammer again, which she pulls close to her body as she goes into a spin...

    And then while she's spinning at high speed, she's suddenly swinging that twelve-foot-long artillery cannon that weighs hundreds of pounds to anyone but her, because magic doesn't care about the laws of angular momentum!

    After she dismisses the cannon and lands she gets a look of someone who just thought of an amazing joke on her face. "Ooh! I should've said 'These depictions of Sailor Mars and Sunbreaker aren't canon!' Ooh, that woulda been good..." She looks to the two and calls out, "Hey, can I try again?!"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Moon Smoking Heart Bomber!" yells Tuxedo Mask in unison with Sailor Moon, and then he also yells, "Thank you for being quiet, Red-chan, she has sound-cancelling headphones on now!" And he sees the dark shield go up around them to save them from the fireball so they could finish this--

The charge is strings of hearts, gold and pink, and an increasing glow. The attack that hurtles out of their combined love, warmth, indignation, and protective natures is a dazzling thing, an enormous glowing ... white-gold heart, solid and luminous. It spins! It spins merrily swiftly with generally somewhat deadly intent (because it's youma, usually)-- it spins toward Mars faster and faster, glowing brighter and brighter, and it explodes on impact with a sound like breaking glass and an inward FWUMP of force.

"Oh that was really pretty," he says, squinting and blinking through the afterimage in the dark.

Veronica Perenna has posed:
There is silence as fake Mars and Sunbreaker contemplate the question Mou Fubuki has given them. They admittedly don't understand the reason for it. What does it matter now really? "You could say that", they respond tentatively.

The Snow Angel's exclamation brings with itself a look on anger and panic for the two clones already. They remember the safeguards they have put in place, even so they also know one thing: this is gonna hurt. So, so, so, much.

And the combination of ice and purification, strips away any confidence they have. Ice? Bad news. Purification? Bad news. Purifying ice? Somebody please spare them. "We. should. have. gathered. more. power." Even speaking is now painful.

They do try their own fires against the avalanche of snow, but there is little they can do before they are quickly overwhelmed and almost buried and screaming and frantically trying to escape Mou Fubuki's power with unprecedent hurry.

Except they get the howling wolves of the capital to remind them that there is no escaping from the consequences, and they are are trapped in place, doomed to watch the inexorable advance of the attacks from mahoujin they have made enemies of.

With their last protection reduced to nothing, there is no fire for them to fight back with against La Licorne's own, and they experience what being scorched is like, repayment for unrestrained abuse of it. With interest.

With the additional burst of purification Tuxedo and Moon's forces joined together create, they are reduced to unmoving glowing shadows, no force of will left for them, and nothing more for any last defense, as weak as it would have been.

Leaving them to be crushed completely, the shadows exploding in two bursts of fire that give one more echoing lament, and the flames disperse towards the rest of the city, away from there, away from the place they knew they made a mistake assaulting.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Yukihime breathes out as she calls the beads back. They circle her wrist before reattaching. The Mahou flops down afterwards, sighing. "I really need to work on that one.", she says after grabbing a few more cookies.

    The mahou looks around, and blows out a little bit more snow, and sends the bunnies out one last time. The bunnies look for those injuried, and give tiny bunny hugs. Yukihime looks worn out, but she can give out bunny victory hugs!

    Those who get hugs get a tiny bit of energy, and some of Yukihime's healing factor, to help boost their own. Though, it seems Yukihime doesn't know about that yet, as she looks to be getting more tired by the second. She's nomming on some more cookies to keep her energy up...

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
"Victory!" Cure La Licorne said with a cocky smirk, crossing her arms and a pair of sunglasses appeared on her head as she posed in a 'too cool for cure' moment... Before giving a light chuckle and making a heart with her hands.

And then... promptly... stuffed THAT down. Her rod and sunglasses disappearing a moment later. Right, she didn't know where that 'Victory' pose thing came from and nobody can ask.

Also, awwww, those two had a cute combo attack. She wondered if it was just a them thing, or if couples often did that. Actually, it mgiht just be them, she didn't see many combo attacks from couples...

"... So, wait, what's this about someone becoming a cat? And for the record, not my fault." Pause. "I'm hoping. Is the baby sleeping okay? I tried to keep it down but ummmm..." Slowly her eyes glanced to Amy. It may have been a lost cause, all things considered...

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Chibiusa-chan is definitely awake now," Usagi says dryly, shaking her head. "I guess they were just youma types then, if they splattered like that... um, everyone, the cafe is actually closed, but you're welcome to study if you clean up after yourselves? Do not help yourself to food that isn't on the table with my bunny backpack - we have to pay back everything else! Me and Mamochan are gonna go upstairs and check on Chibiusa-chan."

Anyone who looks in the cafe and wasn't part of the study group will see the study supplies set up where they had been studying, and the designated will-go-stale snacks that are the ones they're allowed to eat. The rest definitely look off-limits!

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Your guess is as good as mine," Kunzite says to Cure La Licorne, lowering his hands and letting the shields around them fade, the ambient light brighten again. "I know there's a cat who's a person, and I know those two were after her, but I don't think I've ever actually met the person when things weren't exploding." He adds, somewhat amused, "I was on the lookout for a completely different group when these two showed up."

Amanda Faust has posed:
    "Well, I guess now we know we can't kill them with force, anyway." Amy watches the shades fly off. She walks back over to Usagi, petting the snow bunny that's been trying to give her a cookie all this time and taking the offered treat to munch. "I didn't use explosions. Were we quiet enough?"

    Upon being told Chibiusa is definitely awake she looks only mildly crestfallen. "Aww... drat, well, I tried, okay?" She waves an arm back towards the battlefield.

    She nods to Licorne. "She was cursed by people who are running around looking like, well, you and Sailor Mars, or I guess maybe they're youma? They each have part of a relic that we can use to turn her back."

    She turns and looks back at the battlefield. "...Not on their person, apparently." she grouses, and turns back to Sunbreaker.

    "For now, uh... like, the cat cafe is an obvious safe place for her, and her dorm room... I'm not sure who all knows yet." She looks around. "Almost much everyone here, I guess. Ikiko, Erika, and Norie too."

Laisa Samuiko has posed:
    Mou Fubuki watches as the two fakes are clearly shown to be... some kind of youma maybe? They seem to... get away? They were mostly wiped out but... no, there was definitely something that left.

    With a frown, she turns away from the fight and hops down to the street level. Her wings shatter and fade, and the magical ice she had spread everywhere also starts to fade. As she approaches the rest of the group, she whispers and the wind carries her voice, "I suppose that wasn't enough to break her curse?"

    Her eyes go to the windows of the cat cafe.

Cure La Licorne glances towards the shop. Admittedly... with most of them going home, she put her hands behind her head. A cat, huh?

And well... "You know what? I'll try and meet her tomorrow. Once like, things have calmed down." The last time she accidentally rushed a cat, it had been a disaster. She didn't wanna freak out some poor kid who got turned into one.

She ended her henshin, though, and started to walk away, a big smile on her lips. Sheeee sparkled and nobody got hurt! She did it right! She was a good little sparkle she even made a victory thing at the end even if it was silly! Sparkle sparkllllle!
