Profile
A trans girl from a small town in northern Japan, Rubi grew up with a complicated life. When she was quite little a family friend killed her mother, leaving her and her half-sister to be raised by her single father. Her dad retired from archaeology and became a local mechanic. Rubi spent hours in his garden planting, and in his garage, tinkering as she grew. Always precocious, warm and welcoming, she adored all things 'tomboy'. A scrappy kid with a big smile! Then, one day, that 'family friend' returned for something her dad had once discovered. She came with minions of shadow she called Grimm. Rubi found the object first, and it bestowed upon her the ability to transform into Rose Red, a powerful henshin! After defeating the Grim Queen and sending her packing back to her lair, she discovered the shadow creatures reverted to humans afterwards. She's only been at this whole magical girl thing since mid-Summer, meaning she has a LOT to learn. Recently, she got a letter to come to the school, and her and her dad accepted. Now, here she is!
