A future turned not so terrible
Date of Scene: 12 June 2024
Location: Pikarigaoaka Ward
Synopsis: Cure Wing, Rashmi, Yellow Pearl Voice, Katsuko and Geode Girl Loyalty rescue everyone's most well known unicorn, Hinoiri, from a bad end. They all then go to ramen together, where Hinoiri... learns of another consequence of being banished from Obsidian.
Cast of Characters: Hinoiri Kirara, Katsuko Takezaki, Rashmi Terios, Coco Kiumi, Tsubasa Yuunagi, Niji Dasshu, Amanda Faust

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri was on her knees, bathed in darkness. Majorina was standing across the way, floating in the air... as the youma, an akanbe with a big, blue nose, had drained the energy of the local area. "All is darkness... there is no hope..." she mumbled softly to herself, bathed in depression.

Luckily, her necklace was offering her a... smidge of protection. And while a lot of the other civilians were already unconscious, she was not. With all the magical girls who had come to save her, the youma, a giant book with a unicorn horn... and made by applying the blue nose to the very textbook she'd been annoyed at...

Was getting its butt kicked. It had hit the wall across the way, leaving craters in it as it tried to recover!

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
Not far away, when the youma arrived. Katsuko was doing some exercise when suddenly. <WARNUNG! DUNKELENERGIE> A quick transformation later and she's skipping past rooftops and before anything else ensures that the civilians are safe from harm by casting a <GEFÄNGNIS DER MAGIE> She still hasn't learned how to turn off the jamming aspect of the barrier.

Seeing there's still an injured looking civilian there, and a familiar face no doubt, Katsuko lands next to Hinoiri. "Don't worry, Kirara-san. It'll be okay." She moves closer to the youma but not before casting another spell. <ZUFLUCHTGEBIET> creates a double pyramid of blue magic around Hinoiri, it's quite sturdy from the outside but even Hinoiri should be able to break it from the inside. She gets ready to face off against the Youma.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Assassination Barriers, it turns out? *Super inconvenient.* No ability to call for backup, no ability to coordinate... But throughout the battle, the redhead has just resigned herself to helping where she can, how she can, and trying not to be underfoot. And seeing that someone else -- the Belkan that put this Barrier up, according to Nicomachea -- also has some fairly solid defenses around Hinoiri, she feels confident in turning her attention to the battle, for the moment.

    << *BONG!* >> << TERA STRIKE -- BOOST UP >>

Small, golden wisps of foxfire-like energy resolve into existence around the flying Mage, darting out to their respective targets; Loyalty, Katsuko, and Wing, all given a boost in striking power, accompanied by the wamrth of summer sunshine, and a burst of morale-boosting feeling. They can do this. They can all win this, they just need to HIT. HARD.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco wasn't directly doing any kicking. While she absolutely could bombard it with Live Stages to kingdom come, there were plenty mahous that could do the same, which meant she was free to do what she knew best: focus completely on her song of purification, on spreading the harmony of the Seven Seas, and push back against the despair that Hinoiri had been surrounded by. She is currently in her Super Idol form for this, just so her voice had that extra kick.

You were just having the wrong dream...
The whereabouts of your love and the mystery of your memories,
Were pierced by cold loneliness,
And you were suffering.

In the broken sky are the tears you've cried.
You don't have to hide all of your sadness.

Let's end this wrong dream...
Forget everything and sleep
when a new dreams dwells inside of you,
You can become free.

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
The battle has raged for a while, and Cure Wing may be a little scuffed up, but he has more than enough in him for a finisher attack. But... "Finishers are better with friends!" he calls out as he takes Loyalty's hand to rise into the air. "We need a cool name..." he admits to her as he's flying up, building up the flames around his body as he combines with her rainbow colored hair, prismatic flames forming. "Uh... so how about..."

He starts to fly faster, rising into the air, carrying Niji on his back as he twists around gracefully before he loops. As he does so, he calls out to Niji, "Hold on!" With that, he starts to dive plummeting to the ground at a high rate of speed. Fortunately for Niji, they's joint attacked before, so she knows what to expect.

Coming to the level of the youma, he picks up speed, and after a moment's thought, calls out as his body turns into a flaming phoenix that's trailing rainbows behind him...

"Soaring Wonderbolt Strike!"

And with that, the pair of them slam into the youma, passing through it and to the other side as he twists to rise in the air again, holding Loyalty in his arms. "... okay, we need to work on a better name."

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
With Hinoiri's safety reasonably assured, Katsuko turns her energy against the youma. Rashmi's boosting helps, though as she's still getting used to magic she struggles to find a good way to make use of it. Still, she takes off and waits for a good moment with all the other magical people around.

The moment she finds is right after the Soaring Wonderbolt Strike, where she begins to glow blue as she's entirely surrounded by magic. She fires off a pair of barrets then chases them down down aiming to land tonfa hits at the exact moment and times when those barrets hit the youma.

    <TAUCHBOMBE>

This generates a magical explosion at those points of impacts, with most of the force of that pushing into the target, not to mention the power behind the tonfa strikes themselves.

Niji Dasshu has posed:
The big Terribad is not necesarily Geode Girl Loyalty's forte - though she absolutely annoyed it by throwing things at it, by flying around it's head, and generally by being a rainbow-blur nuisance to it. But now? Now it's the time to strike back, with the aid of her friend, who can also fly -and can turn into an awesome dunking comet, and can draw on her energy to enhance that to allow them to jointly become a sort of multicolored divebombing magic projectile duo.

Wing calls out the attack, but Niji just yells "WOOOOOO!" excitedly from her perch, holding on tight as she encounters the distinctly amazing feeling of diving at such a high rate of speed -and- through an enemy -and- knowing the enemy has been good and well 'solved' - Yellow Voice's music lifting her spirits as well, and the rainbow burst of magic explodes through the youma and she turns to look at him before shifting away to fly on her own (the wings aren't just decorative after all.)

"I dunno, Soaring Wonderbolt Strike is pretty good... I mean maybe we put the word Awesome in there somewhere, but..." she says, speaking about this as though the name is a deeply serious concern, more serious than the youma or its controller.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
The akanbe didn't stand a chance. Between the phoenix, the rainbow and the tonfa? It was torn apart and the blue nose that was used was destroyed. Majorina hmphed, narrowing her eyes on them. "Your bad ends will come, just you wait!" she called before disappearing into a duskport.

The webbing that had surrounded the area faded out and Hinoiri blinked a few times, slowly lifting her head. "Is... it over?" she asked softly. She reached up and stroked a finger along her necklace. She then sighed. Well, it seemed she hadn't needed to take it off, after all. Of course...

"Thanks," she said weakly, slowly getting to her feet. "Is this... what it's like to be Naru-chan? This bucking sucks..." she muttered.

Then glanced to Loyalty and Wing...

And memories flashed to her mind and she recoiled, just a bit, hitting the edge of the barrier surrounding her. She let out a low hiss and groaned, before face palming. Then looked up and... Coco was here too... oh great... At least... Coco had already received an apology. "Hey... uhhhhh... Geode Girl Loyalty... long... time no see... uhhhh... I know it doesn't... really make up for last time but ummmm... I... am sorry..."

"... For everything..."

She'd like to get out of the shield now and curl up in a pit to die of shame, if that was okay? On the other hand, she did just annoyed Loyalty's name to the world, so her shame was at least likely shared. Somewhat.

Niji Dasshu has posed:
"Sorry, someone-else's-obaasan, but you'll need to make a youma that's at least twenty thousand percent better, if you want to have any chance at beating us." Loyalty says to the retreating Phantom Empire General. As though she wasn't the distinctly least capable member of the hero squad that had assembled to drop it... but she wasn't going to admit that.

The creepy atmosphere goes away and Loyalty looks around, only to see a familiar face among the group of civilians trapped by the dark magic and moving before the barrier comes down. There's a moment when she recognizes the girl that there's fear in her eyes from what happened, which is quickly replaced by determination and then anger... which cools quickly to a sort of annoyance. "Yep, I heard after you 'stole' my powers, put me in the 'hospital', and tried to kill the sun, you 'lost' all of your powers. So if 'I' put 'you' in the hospital we're 'closer' to even." she says, balling up her hand into a fist and taking a step towards Hinoiri.

And then stopping and shake her head, rainbow hair and long ponytail following the shaking. "But that's not who I am, so good for you. I may not be proud of my henshin name but I'll be sure I can be proud of what I do." she adds.

"But you... you have a long way to go, any 'words' you could say are just like that Terribad. Nowhere near strong enough for the situation."

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
And finally, Katsuko learns who Hinoiri is. She pauses to look at the girl and approaches. "You can break that from the inside anytime you like, Kirara-san. Don't feel like you need to do if you don't feel safe, though." She glances at Loyalty talking about putting Hinoiri in the hospital. And then, in a gesture of goodwill. "We met the other day, I'm Katsuko Takezaki. I was wondering why everything seemed so tense. I get it now."

She tries to position herself between Hinoiri and anyone who looks angry at the former Sunbreaker, "But if Tsukino-san says you should try to make friends, I think that means she sees room for you to make up for what you've done. You haven't hurt me, so please let me ensure so you can work on that." She looks at the others, defiantly. "And anyone who has a problem with that can go through me."

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
Floating next to Loyalty for a moment as the world returns to normal, he'll let her handle the trash talk. She seems to be much better at it than him anyway. But he does add, "And if you continue your evil ways, we will continue to turn you back!" It's a knightly thing to say, and well, he's too proper to trash talk. But then Loyalty is flying down to see someone.

To be fair, Cure Wing was only there at the end. To help bring down Hinoiri. But she seems to be trying to do good, despite the fact that there seems to be more marks on her than John Wick. And she's without a pencil. Loyalty's speech gets his attention and when she's looking like she's about to strike, Wing is about to reach out to grab her shoulder to stop her. Instead, she gives well... something of a justice speech. And he remembers her being in the hospital - where he visited alot until she was better again. Loyalty is a dear friend for Wing and well... she needs to get this out oif her system.

Withdrawing his hand without touching her when she proves she's not going to strike, but does add, "...Loyalty is a good trait to have... and you are rock solid in your beliefs. I think your name's pretty awesome." he points out. A little bit of an eye sparkle at that.

"And Tsukino-san is correct. She needs to learn from her mistakes. And it will be a process." There's a smile towards Katsuko. "Cure Wing." he offers in a way of introduction. And Cures are pretty well known, he's just another of their number.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
...Suddenly, Rashmi is glad for the Belkan-style shield, and as she swings back to land on its perimeter, she smiles at Katsuko. "Hi! Good to meet you--"

She's brought up short by Loyalty's anger, but it's not like she doesn't *blame* the rainbow-haired mahou. She does, however, move in beside Katsuko, putting on a bright smile. "Hi, Katsuko-san! I'm Rashmi, I was waiting tables at the restaurant, it's good to meet you again! And you, Cure Wing! This is Nicomachea, by the way," she says, nodding to her right shoulder, where a huge, green-and-gold armored book floats. << *BONG!* >> << A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU, >> the book supplies, in the somewhat bit-crunched tones of an English professor warming to his favorite subject.

Turning back to Loyalty, the redhead nods. "Apologies are only ever supposed to be a start. She'll get the rest of the way, in time. But uh-- real quick, Katsuko-san, mind if I get in there and give her a hand? Also... d'you know if your Barrier *needs* to jam communications?"

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara let out another small hiss at the threat, cringing from the words. She lowered her eyes, one arm laying limp, the other hand gripping it. She hung her head and gave a soft sigh. "Yeah... I.... yeah. Sorry is kind of... woefully insufficient for the grandiose buck-up I made of everything... Ni... Loyalty, I..." And she wanted to offer to help. To say she could explain how her magic should work. What Kirakirafantastica was.

... But now? In the moment? With so many people there? The words sounded so empty and hollow in her head. And she couldn't get them out through dry mouth. She sighed and drove her elbow back, into the barrier, causing it to shatter.

"It's... fine. I'm fine. If Loyalty wanted to punch me, it'd be the least I deserve. But she sparkles, so I doubt she's the type," Hinoiri said, a hand reaching up to nervously rub against her geode.

On the upside, at least Coco's song now actually felt nice. Refreshing, even. Took away her aches and pains. "I'm fine, Rashmi-chan. Majorina wasn't even really targetting me." Pause. Considered for a moment and... "No, I'm pretty sure she wasn't targetting me directly, so much as... just getting energy and oh my gosh I *am* the Naru now, aren't I? How does she *deal* with this?" Well, aside from pissing everyone else in the world off. "Sorry... I just... sorry is all I can do or say right now. And... thanks for... saving me... I should... probably go."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
This is admittedly Coco's first time seeing an Akanbe and the clown thing is actually quite freaky despite the comical impression one would think it would have at first glance. It's probably the effect of seeing something that actually is so comical in this out of place manner. "Let them come", Coco simply replies to Majorina. They have great teamwork on their side.

The white radiance of the Live Stage dissipates as Coco's feet touch the ground and she offers a hand to Hinoiri once somebody takes care of the barrier. "Yes, it is, Hinoiri. Are you feeling alright?", the mermaid replies. "I suggest you go eat something you like for the time being. Maybe chocolate, for that quick kick of energy. And if you still feel weird after that, I could sing to you some more.

Coco waves to Cure Wing when he introduces himself. "I am Yellow Pearl Voice, but you can choose any nickname you prefer. No need to say the whole thing", she smiles thinking of how many times she had said it. At least people like Loyalty have a clear nickname for their long appellative. "I am not sure I can talk about it", she glances briefly at Hinoiri here, "but she already has it in her to do good." Coco is after all currently wearing at her neck the proof of that.

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
"I don't know?" Katsuko answers Rashmi about that particular feature of her barrier. "Oh and right, this is Zwillingrute." She points to the Tonfa now on her hips. <GUTEN TAG> "Nice to meet you again Rashmi-san, and nice to meet you too, Loyalty-San, Wing-san... Yellow-san?" She sounds unsure about the last

Katsuko walks over to Hinoiri when she shatters the barrier, and reaches out to hug the girl. "The fact that you're saying you deserve to be punched is the very reason I don't think you do." She argues. "I get the feeling that nothing we can do is going to make you hurt more than what's happening inside here." She points at Hinoiri's heart.

Niji Dasshu has posed:
Loyalty can't help but bristle a little bit at the threat from the other magical girl towards her own threat. "Look, if I wanted to get at her I wouldn't go through you, I'd go around or over you. You're all basically moving in slo-mo to me." she says, bluntly. "But I 'don't', and I'm 'not'." she says, raising her hands up. She looks back to Wing. "It's okay, I know it wouldn't help anyone. Even I wouldn't feel better after." she says with a sigh.

"Yeah, I guess I'm not the type." she agrees. "I am, like she said, geodegirlloyalty." she says, continuing to rush her henshin name. "Everybody just calls me Loyalty, which is a little bit better. I didn't get to pick the name." She says, pre-emptively. "It's good to meet you, Rashmi, Katsuko, Yellow Pearl Voice and the two robot-voices I'm not going to try to pronounce."

Then she watches where Hinoiri's hand goes as she's nervous. And her eyebrow raises. "Okay, no punching but... That necklace - who did you steal it from? And when are you going to give it back?" She says, her tone growing slightly accusatory. "It's like mine. You said you understood my magic. Did you find someone else with one?" she asks, pulling her own geode charm out to indicate what she's talking about to the others.

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
"Nice to meet you, Yellow Pearl. Your song was amazing!" Cure Wing offers with a warm smile as he glances over at Katsuko. "I believe in Loyalty to do the right thing. Even if it's not the thing she may want to do." Wing has to have that much faith, at least. Though he's a little confused when she pulls out the stone. "Oh, is that your henshin device?" he asks her curiously.

Katsuko goes to hug Hinoiri and Wing kinda steps back and out of the way for the moment, arms settled across his chest. "Uh. So is there someplace else we can discuss this without all being out in the open?" he asks.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara just cringed. She didn't know what was worse. Loyalty's desire to beat her ass... or everyone trying to protect her despite what she'd done. Even Katsuko's hug just kind of burned in a way the girl didn't likely want it to. This was who they were. This was the kind of people she put in the hospital because SHE lost control. Because she wasn't good enough.

"I'm... fine, Yellow Voice. Really. Your song doesn't actually hurt anymore. It's nice. Guess it's a benefit of being off dark energy..." she mumbled, a half hearted attempt to joke. And Katsuko was right... her heart did hurt. She did a lot of damage and even if she tried to make up for it, she couldn't undo it...

And the accusation made her take another sharp intake of breath. "I didn't steal it from..." She paused. "I mean... I... guess I did... technically steal it... but... it was mine. I was... I think... I think it was mine... when I was abandoned in the woods as a foal in my... home dimension... it was the only thing I had. Sora... asked for it, eventually. So when she banished me, I took it back and... it's not..."

She then sighed, gripping her own a little. "It's not like yours, though. Mine's from Kirakirafantastica, the magic in it just... keeps me pure, stops dark energy from gathering in me. That's all it can do, I've studied it for a long time and there's... nothing else. It, like me, comes from Kirakirafantasica."

"Yours lets you tap into Kirakirafantastica magic, but unless you come from there too, it's... likely just... similiar. Things like that are pretty common back home, I don't know if they are here. The Kirakirafantastica magic in it likely causes the arcane signature to create a..." She trailed off when she saw Niji's eyes start to glaze over. "... Mine looks like this because it's from there. Yours looks like that because they're common there and that's where the magic comes from. Like a magical chameleon that's used to being in a very red environment, and is now in a green environment."

"... I could... teach... you about it... about that magic... if you'd like..." she said, once again rubbing her arm and almost squeaking those words out, expecting to get slapped down. "There are a lot of magical formulas, but they're really easy to memorize once you have the basics down and it's not much more complex than, say, advanced algebra."

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
"I think you'd find that harder than you'd think." Katsuko responds to Loyalty, "But if you want to test that, hit me up in fight club. I'm sure we can set up a scenario to test that." There's no bristling there, but it's an open challenge. It seems the idea of testing if she could have has Katsuko excited. "Of course, if you're not sure you can, we don't need to test it." She glances between Loyalty and Hinoiri as the discussion goes over her head, but Wing says something sensible. "I agree, we should go somewhere more suitable for talking than here. How about we all go get something to eat?" She suggests.

She's not letting go off of Hinoiri until the girl signals the hug should end.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"There's a ramen place I like nearby," Rashmi says. "It's on a rooftop, and they're pretty used to um... cosplayers? Also Kastuko-san if you wouldn't mind letting down the Barrier, Zwillingrute would be the only Device that he hasn't sent a friend request to, yet. They can do that, by the way. Also telepathic texting is a thing."

Looking around at the varied mahou and their varied responses to Hinoiri being, well... here... Rashmi clears her throat. "C'mon. Let's get some ramen. Nobody can sustain a bad mood over good ramen."

Niji Dasshu has posed:
"Wait. Algebra?!" Loyalty asks, pausing, and going a little bit paler blue.

"No way, I got chosen by -math magic-, gross." she says, looking at her geode like it had offended her. "Is there like, a mahou shoujo swap meet where I can trade it? Also what the heck is kirawhatever?" she asks, just a blur of annoyed confusion now. "We've got an awesome magical singer here with us so, is there like a magical electric guitar I can trade for?"

"Yeah, I'll test it alright." she says to Katsuko. "But - oh, I guess this is that place Inai-sensei told me about a long time ago. I should have dropped by." she muses aloud.

"Ramen sounds good, yeah." she says. "No math while I'm eating though." she says, very seriously, pointing a threatening finger at - first Hinoiri, then all of the Device users. And then Rashmi mentions cosplay, and Loyalty holds out her hand. "I guess I'm really dedicated to cosplay." she mumbles, considering her blue tinted skin. "But sure, lead the way!" she says dramatically, pointing the exact opposite direction by pure chance. "To ramen!"

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
Cure Wing almost, almost offers to help Loyalty with math. After all, with his love of aviation, math is easy for him. But then he realized he would have to de-henshin for that, and the idea of doing that was crippling with fear, so he backs himself off, lowering the finger he had just raised in offer.

"Ramen sounds good!" he agrees eagerly, a little laugh at Loyalty talks about trading out her stone. "It can't be that bad? You fly and do awesome things, that's pretty good." he points out.

Though when Rashmi starts talking about the name of her device and all, he tilts his head like a curious bird, eyes wide and blinking as he tries to translate it - but it just isn't making the connections.

Furthermore, now that he realizes that well.. Katsuko-san is his classmate that sits just a few seats from Tsubasa, nerves are all over the place. After all, Cure Wing is confident and all. But Tsubasa? Tsubasa would rather hide his nose in a book most of the time.

However, back to the discussion, he grins. "Yellow Voice's songs are amazing. But I think she can eat too and not provide entertainment - unless there's a cosplay karaoke place I don't know about." he teases lightly.

Amanda Faust has posed:
When they get to the rooftop ramen shop, Amy is already there waiting for her order. She's in civilian mode, wearing her uniform skirt and a T-shirt with a stylized chibi tiger with the onomatopoeia 'nyo' above it in romaji. Her attention is on her phone as the others come in. Almost everyone here already knows her magical identity, though...

Coco Kiumi has posed:
A curious look is given to the Geode. Coco did see it a few times when she had crossed paths with Loyalty but it was no more than a glance, and she certainly didn't have it taken out for her to stare at. She certainly had never seen anything like it before. Apparently the actual truth is much more complicated than Loyalty's accusation. She should probably let them figure it out. Right now it doesn't seem it requires anybody else's input.

"That Phoenix attack was very impressive, Wing", Coco smiles at the Precure, adding. "Though the giant chick at the end is very unexpected. Any reason for the twist?"

Apparently Rashmi has something much better in mind for Hinoiri that just chocolate, and is in fact suggesting a whole trip to a ramen place. There are in fact plenty of good places, but Rashmi probably has a precise place in mind.

"Algebra isn't that big a deal. It's quite methodical, no?", Coco says. "Think about phylosophy", the mermaid snorts in disapproval. "It's all just fitting round pegs in square holes."

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara sighed and gave a small nod. "Sure... why not? My treat. Buying everyone ramen should at least be... something approaching an apology. You... ummm.... you can let me go, now," she mumbles to Katsuko. "Thanks for... not.... holding it against me and all. I guess that's one advantage of new sparkle skirts dropping constantly. I wait long enough, the ones who remember my screw up will be outnumbered by those who don't."

She then... glared at Niji. "Well, at least you *were* chosen by something, you--" And then she stopped, before taking a slow, deep breath. "Yes. Unicorn magic is often a lot of study, memorization, all of that. It's really not that hard, though. All you need to do is memorize the formulas, then go down them step by step, ensuring you don't mess up the calculations. And a lot of them are fairly simple, like the Sutasuwaru Equation isn't that difficult once you understand the basic angle of a triangle divided by the local constant of gravity, then add the radiant magic following a heavy rainfall, so long as you don't..." And then she trailed off, watching the girl's eyes glaze over again. "... Although, you had wings, so you're probably more pegasus based. That magic is far simpler. Maybe I can teach you to like... summon a shield or a bat or a sword or something... that's pretty simple, only a few simple calculations all things considered. I think most pegasus magic is more about like... flying fast and bucking dragons in the face. Some of the royal guards are said to be so good they could catch a pony in freefall, along with her wagon and apples, without bruising a single one."

She was trying to be encouraging, at least. "... And Kirakirafantastica is a very musical place. If you have a guitar, you'd likely find it could be useful to play while practicing. Music often helps us focus and direct our energies towards our work."

She then glanced to Yellow Voice. "Though, ummm... our magic isn't... quite the same kind of music as you do. Ours is more... singing to focus and use our things', rather than being magic itself. Algebra is nice, though. It's so much easier than... other things... heh..." At least nobody was trying to punch her now! That was progress! "Rashmi, lead on?" she asked.

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
Katsuko drops the barrier as soon as Rashmi asks, and Zwillingrute accepts the friend request. "Let's go get some ramen." She offers cheerfully, glancing to Hinoiri. "Should we slow down for you or want me to carry you?" She asks. Then, to Geode. "Looking forward to it, it'll be fun. The other day, the bearer of Blauer Greif threw the bleachers at me it was awesome."

She beams as she talks about her new friend, still glossing over all the talks of complicated magic theory. "I'd definitely like to hear more of yellow's songs, then, if she's as good as you say, Wing." Blissfully unaware that Wing is her classmate.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
And Rashmi does indeed lead on! In fact, she simply plucks her book out of the air, banishes the wings at her feet, and clears her throat in Loyalty's direction. "Um... Other way, in fact... c'mon."

Luckily it isn't terribly far to Okujoo Ramen, and she keeps up her own bright chatter all the while. Some of it to Coco, catching up on her friend's latest exploits, some to Katsuko -- it may be a bit of a shock when she just drops 'My boyfriend Chrono' in conversation -- some to Wing. Loyalty, she can see, has enough to worry about without having to keep track of more conversation in the mix, and she just... sort of... keeps herself near Hinoiri.

After all, if *this* attack wasn't motivated by revenge, the *next* one might be a different thing altogether, and best be in a place to protect the ex-villainess when possible.

As the group rides the elevator up the side of the building to the rooftop, and she steps out, her face lights up at one of the customers. "Amy-chan! How're you doing!"

Yes, in full henshin, as if she was just cosplaying her bespectacled little heart out. "Mind if we join you?"

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy is completely absorbed in her phone and almost jumps in her seat as she startles, pressing home, putting her phone down and turning around. She blinks for a moment, trying to work out what to call her, but Rashmi doesn't use a separate name anyway. Then she smiles, "Rashmi! And..." She sees the various people behind Rashmi. "Hi everyone!" She waves. "Uh... did you all come here together from fighting evil?"

She looks only slightly surprised to see Hinoiri, and doesn't seem to think her presence is a bad thing-- if anything, she's hopeful to see the ex-villain hanging with this crew!

Niji Dasshu has posed:
Loyalty groans whenever Hinoiri tries to connect her to math and... well... egghead kind of things. She knows what she's good at, and it's a lot of things, but she's never been... scholastic. Eventually she says something that pierces through the glaze. "Okay, can we talk more about dragons and fighting them because that sounds way better." she says, as they arrive at the Ramen shop. "Dragons. in the um. video game?" she offers upon realizing they might be overheard, but thankfully it's by Amy, who Loyalty has seen before. "Oh nevermind you know what kind we mean." she says, sighing.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Maybe we compare how our respective gifts work?" Coco suggests to Hinoiri when she brings up the differences, walking next to her as she was starting to get caught up in the subject. "You had already picked up on the Black Beauty Sisters' songs, so I don't think you would have any issue picking up on mermaid songs."

Bringing a hand up to her E-Pitch headset, she points at her pearl on the left side. "I don't imagine that geode you have there has some secret power like my pearl, right? Have you tried singing at it and seeing what happens?" she suggests.

The mermaid also replies to all of Rashmi's question, and is likewise interested in how things have been going for her. At least if she is close to Hinoiri as well, there might not be many problems in the conversation. If she isn't however, Coco will switch sides so as to be closer.

"Tragar hasn't changed at all", the mermaid tells Katsuko in an amused tone. "She is always raring to go. There was this one time when she showed me the basics of swordfighting." Totally different from her normal fighting style.

And said fighting style being brought up and even requested to continue gets an easy and assured yes from Coco. "It'd be my pleasure to sing for you", she comfirms to Katsuko. "Or even with you, if you happen to have a musical inclination."

"Hello, Amy!", Coco smiles when she sees another close friend there. "We were fighting this thing that was like a book, but also a clown. The human witch that had conjured it was giving out threats about bringing our bad end along, the usual stuff. What about you? Any news?", Coco asks, ending the questions with a hug as a greeting.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara blinked and glanced to Katsuko for a moment. "Wait, threw bleachers at your head? Are... you with Obsidian?"

At least, well.... the rest of it made (some) sense. She'd never met this Chrono, blinking a few times. "Wait, is this a 'My boyfriend who lives in Griffonstone' kind of situation, or like... do you actually have a boyfriend?" She would be the only one to meet the weird agent.
However, seeing Amy made her take another sharp intake of air. After a moment... "Hey... ummmm... Amy-chan. Uhhh... thanks. For before. I wasn't... fully able to understand at the time? But... you said a lot of things that were really nice. And I think I needed. So... thank you. A lot. We should... talk sometime. If you'd like."

She nodded to Niji after. "Yeah, we can chat all about them. Probably some things I can teach you from back home with that."

That was progress! She then glanced to Coco. "Yeah. I've ran currents through it, cast spells on it, sung with it, exercised with it, and that was before coming to this world, when I had real magic. It's just... well. It holds Kirakirafantastica magic. Stuff is borderline toxic to dark energy, so it burns it out so it can't infest me. But... doesn't do anything other than that. If it could, I'd know."

She was going to be SO ANNOYED one day due to that....

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
"I'm a Pretty Cure. And I've come to understand there's a lot of us. So." Cure Wing grins in a little self-depreciating way, but doesn't sound like he's putting himself down. "I don't use a though like most of them, I have a pen." he explains to Coco's question about sharing powers. "And I ah... fly. Which has been a dream of mine since I was little, when I was saved by a flying girl after I fell out of an airplane."

As they step onto the rooftop, he's taking it all in and offers a wave to Amy, hands tucked behind his back as he walks. "Oh, singing? Like karaoke? That's be neat!" he says, before Hinoiri speaks up and he blinks a few times. "Griffonstone? What's that?"

Then there was the question about his bird form and Wing gives a shrug of his shoulders. "I never know what happens when I combine attacks with someone. Ever since the Mix Palette was used on me, it's been like that. Kinda neat, huh? But I don't want to burn people out on combining with me." Yes, that was a phoenix joke.

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
"No? It was just training, lot of fun." Katsuko answers Hinoiri cheerfully. She does a double take and physically distances herself when Rashmi admits to dating Chrono, but doesn't explain herself. To Yellow, "Yeah, she's great isn't she? I'm looking forward to sparring with her again." Then there's Amy and she waves, "Hi Amy-san." Cheerfully, "Hinoiri-chan was getting bullied by some youma so we came to help her." She explains the matter, "Was a good fight. Lots of cool magic, probably a little bit too easy for how many of us there were, though. A good challenge would've been nice."

Amanda Faust has posed:
"There was a dragon monster?" Don't think about it, employees, clearly the cosplayers are just doing a bit!

She beams at the mention of Tragar-chan, and quirks an eyebrow at the mention of the monster. "Oh, one of those? Haven't seen those in awhile... oh was it the dragon girl that summoned them? Or a Jon Talbain Digimon-lookin' werewolf? No? A witch? That's a new one..." She furrows her brow at the news of a new Dark General in whatsisface's empire, but then she's hugged, and she enthusiastically hugs back and squeezes Coco. "It's always good to see you."

And then there's Hinoiri. She smiles upon hearing the girl's had the chance to appreciate her words. "You're welcome. I really do... want to help. I'd be happy to talk."

She considers the topic of discussion. "Have you had a Device-user scan it? Maybe different types of magic pick up different stuff?"

And there's the magical boy! "Flight is definitely cool! My second or third pick for a power if I could choose! What's it like? I mean, I had that spell cast on me once but I didn't really get to enjoy it, ya know? Although uh, flying with you was pretty cool..." She's forgotten he hasn't seen her like this. "That you could make missiles based on my power was pretty cool!" oh, that's who she is!

She nods to Katsuko, "I see... glad it ended well." She blinks at Katsuko's demanding more of a challenge. "...Last monster I saw you fight, uh..." worry flashes over her face. "Were you okay, after that? We kinda got outta there in a hurry..."

Niji Dasshu has posed:
Loyalty shakes her head. "Nah, I haven't really looked into it I guess. I figured everybody had their own stuff. Until Hinoiri... noticed it... nobody seemed to have any idea so I just didn't worry about it." she admits.

"And I'm really... probably harsher on it than I should be, anyways." Loyalty admits. "I'm still awesome, and running around is really fun, and flying, and all of that. But, it'd be nice to do more than annoy monsters to distraction." she says, shrugging. "I just feel like I could -do- so much more, you know?" she offers.

"...Yeah, I guess you should try to teach me a little bit, Hinoiri." she says, looking at her. "Also I dunno who this Trager person is - should I?" she asks. "Name's... kind familiar. Wait, did I save her from the sad girl with the knife?" she asks.

"...man I'm glad nobody is listening." she says. "Like, except our group. All of this sounds wild when I listen to myself. What ramen is best here?" she asks, as a general question.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave a small nod. "Yeah. Riventon... scanned it for me. He was the one who realized it was blocking my ability to use dark energy. He and I exchanged information often, he really was good with magic and understood it in a way that most people just..." She trailed off and coughed.

"... He was like a lab partner who could keep up. It was... nice..." And now, she couldn't keep up. She gave another sigh before pulling out her wallet and flagging down the waitress. "Here. I'm picking it up this time, okay? I... should do something nice for all of you, for once."

She then glanced towards Cure Wing. "It's a non-existent place, a kind of play on words joke about the Griffon's homeland. The idea being that you mention have a boyfriend, who's not real, and from a place that's not real. It... wasn't a very good joke, I guess. Here at least."

".... Wait, girl with a knife? Catra? Is Adora's name Tragger? I could definitely see her throwing benches at people.... I thought her last name was like... Sparklepunch or something equally dumb." Blink. "No offense."

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"...Nuno," Rashmi says. "Trager is the blind girl with the lizard dog? With the sword gravity magic and the *honor of House Steiner* and all that? I'm not sure if you ever ran into each other, but, it'd be *hard* to forget. She's teaching me how to work on Devices, so trust me... She's definitely not Adora. Can absolutely confirm."

As Hinoiri explains the joke, she nods slowly. "I think America's got a similar joke about Canada, actually... Probably to do with how close they are. But Canada exists."

She either doesn't seem to notice Katsuko distancing herself, or isn't calling attention to it... And come to think about it didn't that bully with the shields say Rashmi's name as someone to look for?

Amanda Faust has posed:
Loyalty expresses relief no one is listening except their group. "It's ok." Amy reassures her. "The staff here are used to cosplayers and stuff, they know we're just talking about our collaborative roleplay."

Hinoiri is picking up the check? "Thanks! And yeah, we had the same thing back in America, kind of." She drops her voice in imitation of a boy, "Oh yeah, I totally have a girlfriend, she lives in Canada, dude."

She looks between Loyalty and Hinoiri in confusion. "What? No, Trager's my girlfriend...'s character." She adds as a waitress sets a bowl of beef ramen in front of her. "Yeah she's gonna be picking up my check too." Amy notes to the waitress, pointing at Hinoiri.

As the waitress walks away Amy speaks up again, "I can't imagine her needing to be saved from someone with a knife, are you sure that was--"

And then she remembers. "Oh, her. That wasn't a knife, that was a katana!" Amy looks to Hinoiri. "And that's another girl we need to help. She's cursed to be that way, but I know almost nothing about how magic works... I don't suppose you've looked into helping her? Uh, the energy vampire girl?"

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
"Oh. I see." Cure Wing says, a few little blinks of his eyes as he tries to process the joke that Hinoiri is making and then he laughs for a moment, because that is supposed to be the correct response, right? "Ah ha ha." Literally. That was his laugh for the joke. He rubs at the back of his head in thought.

"I don't know anyone named Adora, Catra, or Tragger. I guess I should get to know more people, but I mainly know them only in henshin. Like Sailor Charon. She's pretty amazing." But he too notices Katsuko distancing herself and as he lifts the tail of his coat to take a seat, he gestures to Katsuko and then the seat next to him if she wants a place to sit. That offered in invitation, when Loyalty asks what flavor of ramen, Wing speaks up. "Oh. Uhm. I'd like any that has a fish base. I have an allergy to poultry." he admits with a coloring of his cheeks.

But that only lasts a moment before Amy's comment catches his attention. "I mean, you had all the guns and stuff. It kinda made sense?" He shrugs his shoulders. "The Mix Palette is strange when it's used and it seems to try to find something within the person I'm working with to activate. Like with Loyalty, it made more powerful rainbows and I know I went way faster than I usually do when I'm using the Soaring Wing attack."

Niji Dasshu has posed:
Loyalty stops to think about it for a moment, after ordering some beef ramen. "Well, if I got to pick a power super speed would be on the list, I just also see people shooting lasers and stuff and notice when I have to get up in a terribad's face." she admits. "...attacking with you is so awesome, Wing-san." she says, grinning and fiving a thumbs-up.

"Knife, katana, whatever. She was really after her. Personally, I wasn't feeling like she was looking for help. But I didn't think Hinoiri was either and now she's buying my dinner so. You never know."

"And no, I don't mean Catra. I know Catra, I saved Adora from Catra, at least as much as anybody can... that girl needs to let things gooooo." she says. Does she mean Adora, or Catra? (yes).

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara gave Rashmi a small side eye. Interesting that she didn't confirm or deny that this Chrono even existed... perhaps it really was her boyfriend in griffonstone...

A shame, Rashmi was pretty cool, she deserved a cool boyfriend. Then she groaned. "Oh, there's another senshi? Guess I got kicked from Obsidian at the right time, before she could punch me too."

Then Amy cleared up who it was... and she groaned. "Ohhhh. La Crima. Yeah, she's a bitch. That whole kidnapping thing? That wasn't staged or anyhting. She actually kidnapped me and held me captive. Surprised all of you actually came to save me, honestly..."

"Probably a poor choice, all things considered... Err, no offense." Pause. "Wait, did I just insult myself?" Yes. Yes she did. "And oh my gosh, yes. Adora is just going to make that girl go worse. She will burn the world if she has to just to get Adora to stop telling her what she has to be."

She ordered the vegetarian, of course...

... Of course, as the waitress headed off, it wasn't long before she came back. "Ummmm... Miss Kirara? Your card was declined."

Hinoiri blinked a few times. "I... what? What do you mean, declined? It... err, one second," she said, pulling away from the table. They could soon see her talking to the waitress across the restaurant.... then taking her card... then taking out her phone and talking to someone on the other end.

Angrily.

Katsuko Takezaki has posed:
"Eheheheh." Katsuko laughs awkwardly at Amy's question. "I'm fine, just had a few bruises for a day. It's not called Knight Armor for nothing." She insists, she takes on Cure Wing's invitation to sit next to him. "I'm not picky when it comes to Ramen." She offers her stance, and looks eager to dig in whenever the food arrives.

"I think my superpower is my martial arts but I also get the feeling I was being prepared for this. Can't be an accident that I get trained how to wield tonfa for as long as I remember and then on my thirteenth I get a family heirloom that turns out to be a pair of magic tonfa."

She glances when Hinoiri's card is declined, pauses a moment, then gets up and walks over to offer the girl another hug.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy looks curiously at Katsuko. "You've been training with tonfas since you were little? Neat! I always thought they were a cool weapon... tonfa sword type things in videogames, at least. Ever since Strider and Virtual On."

She blinks at Loyalty. And then states dryly, "Dude. She literally can't feel positive emotions because of her curse. Of course she can't hope for help. But isn't helping those who can't help themselves what Heroes do?"

Amy nods at Wing's explanation. "Yeah. Still cool! I've never ridden a giant bird before!"

She listens to Hinoiri's recounting of the kidnapping. Huh, yeah, in retrospect it doesn't make sense that La Crima kidnapped her... unless. "Huh, so La Crima doesn't know your secret identity?"

She looks a bit worried at Hinoiri getting into an argument. Amy looks to the others, "If, uh, you need someone else to pay for all this this time, I can pick up the check." she offers, a bit awkwardly, not seeing it as something to boast about here. "I still have my old savings, after all." She may not be rich, but she can absorb an occasional expense of this size better than someone with a part-time job, at least.

Amy suddenly has another thought and looks back to Cure Wing again. "Oh, there's something I was wondering... hey, what's it like, being a phoenix?"

Niji Dasshu has posed:
"There's a bunch of the Senshi." Loyalty says. "I thought one for each planet, but then there was one for the moon too, and if that counts all the moons... that's a lot." she notes.

Loyalty raises an eyebrow when Hinoiri's card is declined, after she offered to pay. "I can get mine, actually, Red." she says when Amy offers to take the place.

She waits for Hinoiri to return and shrugs. "It's not a big deal, guess you just had less in savings than you thought. Assuming they paid you." Then she pauses. "Obsidian does pay people, right? Like, it's a real company in the middle of downtown."

"If they can't ask for help it's hard to help them. But I guess I'll just keep getting in their way so they can't do anything super-dumb." she says to Amy in regards to helping those who can't be helped. "Looks like it worked out okay for Hinoiri eventually." She almost adds 'and beating sense into them' but decides not to.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
For herself, Rashmi orders a Hokkaido-style ramen -- which turns out to have butter and sweet-corn among the toppings -- and returns Hinoiri's side-eye, puzzled... then mentally reqinds the conversation, blinking owlishly. "...Oh! No Chrono exists, he was just fretting about other stuff while I went out to fight you. He's... basically an alien? And like a special agent for a space government, it was part of his ship that crashed a while back, that Riventon and a bunch of us were fighting over. Also all the different kinds of magic on Earth gives him nervous fits," she says with a shrug. One cannot be a magical native to Earth and *not* be used to the idea that there are a few dozen hundred flavors of 'magical BS' out there.

Grinning down the table at Katsuko, as if the space between them was pure chance, she bobs her head. "That *is* neat! I, um.... sort of just found Nicomachea, actually. In a used bookstore."

Then Hinoiri's card is declined, and Rashmi's eyes go wide. "Oh, Hinoiri..." Katsuko has the hug part covered, so Rashmi starts 'digging in her purse' -- actually fetching a small clutch from Nicomachea's inventory, below table level -- and hunting up her card. "I'll get your ramen, Hinoiri-san. And we can pay for our own, it'll be *fine.*"

A side-glance at Hinoiri. "...They *gave* you your personal card, didn't they," she says quietly, with the wince evident in her voice.

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
"We can all pitch in a little." Cure Wing says as he reaches into a pocket on his jacket for his own wallet. But he kinda turns away to open it and take out some yen, because he's scared someone will see his school id or something. But to Amy's question, he answers as he works on it. "I don't really feel any different?" he admits with a shrug of his shoulders. "I feel like I'm flying fast and that I'm warm, and that's pretty much it."

Now that he has the yen, he turns back to the table to set the cash down. "They can keep whatever's left as a tip?" he says with a small smile. "I get a small stipend from back home." Both from his parents, and for being the protector of Elle-chan. Knight of the Sky and all that stuff, right?

"Do you still work for Obsidian?" he asks of Hinoiri.

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara growled and actually snapped at Katsuko when she offered a hug. "I don't need a damn hug I'm busy!" she snarled... before cringing. "Sorry... sorry. No. I'm fine. I just need to deal with this."

And she was gone for a little bit... but when she came back, her face was pale. She collapsed into her seat, staring ahead with a look of just... numb.

"I don't exist. My account. It's gone. They don't even have a record of it. All of my savings. Everything. It's gone. They didn't stop paying me. They destroyed everything I *had*. I... I don't even know if I have a record anymore."

"... I think I have looped around from furious, all the way back to just... bewildered. I am... oddly calm."

"... I may kill a man, though. I think. I think I am going to go home. Before I want to take off this necklace. I think it is best... if I be alone, right now. Thank you."

Eye twitch. "... They... setup my bank account. My records. School history. Medical history. *Everything*. I... may... not... exist... the only reason I even have a phone right now is probably because I setup this burner a while back. After this month? It's... probably gone."

"..." She took a very, very, very slow, calming breath. As best she could... Because now? She wanted to cry. And she did *not* want to cry in front of the sparkles.

Amanda Faust has posed:
At others talking of loss of credit card, Amy opens her mouth to ask if the bank account was in Hinoiri's name, but-- "They WHAT?!" She briefly looks angry, then sad and sympathetic for Hinoiri. She stands and runs over, leaning for a hug unless also rebuffed. "Okay. It's okay. We'll find... there has to be someone at school who makes fake records because I got one. We've gotta be able to... to get in touch with them, or at least notify them somehow. As for. As for the school records... it's worrying they have a spy with access to those, but they might not've hit the backups yet." Not that Amy has access to those either, but... maybe she can come up with a scheme?

"And, and, the nurse's office might have paper copies of your medical stuff somewhere, there's always some system they gotta send stuff to that's behind the times and needs faxes. We can check with Nurse Meiou. Like, were you ever at the hospital? Same there, although I dunno the procedure for getting them. You'll be... We'll work something out. You're not... gone."

If a hug is rebuffed, Amy still looks into the girl's eyes with concern and sympathy.

Niji Dasshu has posed:
"Hey, hey. There's gotta be a way to fix that." Loyalty says. "I'm not sure if it's a good idea for you to be alone when you're hurting. That's not how -we-..." she says, gesturing to the people at the table "... do things. We work together, and we fight together. If you're thinking about going off the deep end isn't it better to do it around people who can help bring you back?" she asks.

"And you're staying at the school, right? So that takes care of your place to live and food for a bit too. They can't un-person you. They can just make things tough for a bit. But tough things are easier with help." she says. "Missing out on good ramen is not gonna make your day any better, too."

Tsubasa Yuunagi has posed:
"I'll help with what I can." Cure Wing promises as he finishes his ramen. "But for now, I should get back to my patrol." He has homework and he needs to get started on it. There's a paper due, and he space cadeted about it.

Reaching over, he gives Loyalty's shoulder a little squeeze. "I'm glad you're back to full strength." he offers to her honestly, before he rises to his feet. "It was nice meeting everyone!" And with that, he lifts off the rooftop and into the sky, zooming away to head back to the Academy and get started!

Rashmi Terios has posed:
Hinoiri's outburst has Rashmi recoiling just a bit, but by the look on her face she completely understands. "If you want to be alone," she says gently, "that's okay too. But, Loyalty's right. When we win, we win because we don't let each other deal with stuff alone. We help each other... And we'll help you too, if you want. I'm texting Nurse Meiou right now, to make sure you're still in the system there."

In fact she doesn't have her phone out at all; apparently she wasn't kidding about telepathic texting.

"But Hinoiri-san... I'm serious. I've got your bill for dinner right now... take it home. For the rest? Remember that *nobody* thinks less of you. It's just gonna suck for a bit, until you get back on your feet."

<<TXT to Setsuna Meiou: ...Welp. Hinoiri's card was declined, and apparently her entire self got deleted from Obsidian's records. The school might be the only place she has an identity, now.
<< TXT to Setsuna Meiou: ...Would you mind checking to make sure? >>

"It's okay, Hinoiri-san. We got you."

Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara rebuffed Amy alright. She lifted a hand up and pushed Amy off. "Don't. I'm *fine*. I can handle this. I came here alone, I'll figure it out alone. I don't need you to--"

And then Loyalty was next. And she clenched her fist. The frustration on her face clear. "I... don't need you to..." She grit her teeth. Then finally she slammed her palms down on the table when Rashmi said she was contacting Setsuna. "I don't bucking care what any of you think! I don't need your bucking help, I'm not a *child* or a *sparkle*, I can take care of *myself*. I don't..." And then a tear fell down her eyes and she reached up, covering her eyes with her hands. she was angry and frustrated and she wanted to scream and cry and yell and...

"... F-fine... help... j-just... help me... p-please..." she finally whispered, shaking and hiding her face behind her hands. "Ramen... ramen sounds... good..."

Niji Dasshu has posed:
"Look, first step is to let us do the dinner thing with you. Then we'll make a plan. Well, I won't, but somebody who plans will." she says, admitting her own... limitations. "And everything's easier with a belly full of ramen." she says. "We got you. We'll probably fight over who gets to pay for you, if anything." she admits.

"You -can- take care of yourself, yes. But it's -easier- to do it together, you know? Just because you -can- doesn't mean you -should-. Life's tough." Loyalty says. "And you know what? It's basically a team sport anyways. Nobody should get all bent over the fact that they can't play every position on a team." she says, bluntly. "You need other people in this world. It's not weakness. It's good play. Now sit down and let's eat some ramen."

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy frowns at Hinoiri proclaiming she doesn't need help.

Goddamn it it really is some of the thoughts she used to... and maybe still does sometimes... tell herself.

"Being alone sucks. You're the only unicorn, the only person from your entire world, here." She states firmly.

Then she relaxes her shoulders a little. "Look. Everyone needs help sometimes. It's not... it doesn't make you a child. Especially when you're dealing with..." She waves her arms vaguely out to her sides, "All this. Even if I was still an adult, if I was stuck with no legal records, I would be sunk."

"Like, how the hell is anyone supposed to deal with that themselves? Get a sucky job paid under the table as an illegal immigrant, pay someone to forge records and hope neither your employer or the forger backstabs you??? That's not gonna be a story that ends well!"

She glances over Hinoiri, remembering her own thoughts about what she might've done if she hadn't gotten her invitation to Radiant Heart. Streaming and MeTubing should be possible, right? Amy mutters, "Okay, maybe it'd be slightly less hopeless for you. Although having to take only crypto and no bank account to use'd be a problem..."

She shakes her head. "But you don't have to be alone. Because you're here with us. A-and maybe that's just luck... but... Dang it, you gotta take opportunities like this you get... Even if you're a strong, independent woman. No one got successful in life all by themselves and anyone who claims that probably cheated and exploited others. This is... this is the better option than that."

"I'll pay for your ramen, it's fine. Or... maybe we will end up arguing over it, heh." She smiles and gives a little chuckle.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
<< TXT to Rashmi: Well, I can fix the un-personing. I did it for Miss Rainbowfist and Mister Armbruster, after all. She'll need to come visit me so I can get the info they'll need or settle the fake info...and I really don't mind picking up the tab if someone needs it. >>

<< TXT to Setsuna Meiou: You're awesome, Setsuchan, but it looks like there might be a fight over who gets to pay for her. I'll tell her to visit you tomorrow after class, though. Thanks a bunch! >>

"Don't worry about that, Amy-chan," Rashmi says. "Nurse Meiou said she'll be willing to do the same thing for Hinoiri-san, she did for Bow-kun and Adora-chan. Just... Hinoiri-san? You'll want to go by the nurse's office after class. She's got her own connections, she can help you out. There's... really not much to be done about actual money though, except get a part-time job. And... let's just split the check evenly, that'll probably keep us from drawing wands, yeah?"

Hinoiri's ramen gets nudged toward her just a bit, and accompanied with a gentle smile. "I know it sucks to ask for help. But it sucks worse when someone answers with 'you're on your own.' And those kind of people? Aren't who's around you, anymore."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco watches the panicking Hinoiri with a worried frown. The fact they actually went through her records and scrapped them all. That was a level of cruelty that stepped over the line, walked back on it, picked it up, crushed it apart and used it as wood for a fire.

"Hinoiri, deep breaths. This is a huge deal, but we can get through this, and you needing help now doesn't make you any lesser. Or should I remind you when we were needing help?" The last part is whispered for only Hinoiri to hear. And if Hinoiri glances up, she can see the Sealing Key at Coco's neck.

"Rashmi", Coco turns to the page mage. "I would have an idea that Hinoiri can do. In fact, that only Hinoiri can do. Can we meet up again later? I would prefer to run it by you", Coco mentions, giving Hinoiri a sympathetic glance.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"Absolutely," Rashmi says, bobbing her head. "Just let me know when, and I'll make time."

And for the redhead, it really is just that easy. Schedule-juggling fallout can wait; if help is needed, help will be prioritized.
