Tinyplot: Dark Kingdom Finale

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Once again, the Shed is packed, and once again, Sailor Moon stands before a crowd of her peers, her friends, her allies. There are a few differences, this time - one of them is that Tuxedo Kamen stands with her, an ally in full instead of a target of their planning. She is shamelessly holding his hand in front of all of them, and they're both looking much better than they had the last time everyone saw them.

One of the Shed's many whiteboards has been dragged to the front with them, and taped to the whiteboard is a map of city only a few of them are likely familiar with from a map's point of view: Paris, France.

"Everyone, thank you for coming today," Sailor Moon starts off, looking around the room and meeting people's eyes with a warm smile. "I know I didn't get to really explain much, yesterday, with everything that happened, but, what I said was true: Mercury-chan has found the Dark Kingom's lair. It turns out that Metallia's been in Paris this whole time."

Haruka Tenoh has posed:
Haruka speaks up early, perhaps due to an impatience to implant her fist into a certain face. "Paris? Like, France-paris?" she asks, clearly a bit incredulous.

"Everything else is happening in Tokyo, isn't it? Like... Beryl is in Tokyo." She knows that all to well. "And Thetis." That is a more fond memory.

Bow has posed:
Bow arrives with a bottle of a sports drink that he's been sipping from. He had missed out on Mamoru's rescue because he had gotten sick and feels terrible about it. As he settles into his seat and listens to the start of the briefing, he takes a drink and ponders. "Sounds like Mercury did a great job, then!" he says with encouragement.

And he was just about to ask exactly where Paris was, but fortunately, Haruka saves him that embarrasment. Because someone had convinced him Paris was in Texas in World Geography Class... and wow at the responses to that.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
As exhausted as Rashmi was after yesterday, but still determined to be part of the Snacks Committee, Rashmi is taking up a chair by a desk holding three twelve-packs of Ramune. Looking about the Shed, she smiles at all the known faces and proven abilities ranged around the bigger-on-the-inside room. Her eyes light on Noir, then on Jolly Roger, and a thought occurs to her. "Also, real quick, Usa-chan; there's some people in here who might not know Metallia. Any chance at a short-short summary, so people can catch up?"

Jadeite has posed:
"I can't help with speaking French, but I'm fluent in English and I've got enough to afford feeding people and getting hotel rooms if we're there for a long time," Tamaki volunteers from where he's curled next to Mamoru. "A good chunk of Europe is ESL, so that'll help some."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Well-- in the Dark Kingdom while, uh, while I was Hematite, mostly sealed and weak, growing in energy," says Tuxedo Kamen. He's only standing with her metaphorically, sitting on the edge of a desk and holding Sailor Moon's hand, still looking pale, not so tanned as the sun had made him, maybe, or maybe just tired. "But all that energy gathering meant she could get out. The Dark Kingdom has entrances in other places in the world, I guess Paris is one of them."

A beat. "I only ever went through the door in Beryl's office," he says, eyes closed for a second, but then steady as anything when he opens them again.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir was rarely seen, but he did show up when needed. Or out on patrol. Though he was one of the costumed sorts that wasn't as well known it seemed as he often chose to hang back to play backup unless there was a direct need for him--Given his particular power set though that may not be surprising to those that did know him.

He's here of course, green eyes bright and focused sharply on the map with a look of concerned interest. In spite of the fact that Paris was up on the whiteboard he's currently only slightly distracted by draping an arm around Naru's shoulders super casually as if this were the most normal thing in the world to him.

His free arm raises a clawed-glove clad hand into the air before speaking up. "I can honestly say that I never saw anything going on in regards to this Metallia person before leaving Paris, but given Hawkmoth has also shown up in Tokyo it makes me wonder if he was forced out." He frowns a bit, and adds, "I'm going to volunteer to help on this one. Paris is my city. If anyone here knows it, it's me and Ladybug."

Erika Shimizu has posed:
"Aye. A brief 'too long did nae read' might be in order." That would be Jolly Roger from where she's leaned up against a wall, echoing Rashmi. Her totally sweet hat that she woulf die for is resting at a jaunty angle and arms folded across her chest. "I may not know what be goin' on, but I know somethin' bad is afoot, so here I be~."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Apparently they commute." Kunzite does not look pleased about this. He's leaning against one of the side walls, where he's relatively out of the way, but able to keep an eye on the others listening. Presumably he is not suspecting any of them of being Thetis in disguise, but you know, just in case. "Metallia is Beryl's backer, so to speak. A noncorporeal demon who tried, in the distant past, to consume the life energy of the planet. She's making another try. She can corrupt and possess people who give in to her even a little, or just flat-out possess people who are too drained to keep her out. Last time she got most of the population of the world before she was stopped. She doesn't have enough energy to work with to pull that kind of thing yet, but she's getting closer."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown was, of course, helping Rashmi where he could. In this case, likely very little. It wasn't his duty in this situation. His only duty here was to monitor the situation and ensure things worked well... And help Rashmi carry things when needed.

He glanced to Cat Noir, but didn't say anything. Having a native to the area might be wise. "Do you know where in Paris, Sailor Moon? If not, perhaps Cat Noir is aware of some locations that would be more... magically inclined?"

Amanda Faust has posed:
The shed! A meeting! Amy doesn't bother transforming, hanging out in a dark T-shirt and red skirt near the front row. Paris? But also, more importantly:

Amy nods at Rashmi and raises a hand: "Who or what is Metallia?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Pulp Noir is here. He's minus trenchcoat, so he's just in a fancy suit. He draws his fedora down as he listens to the information as the masked detective takes it all in. Paris, France? Okay. But. How are they all going to get there? That's easier for some folks, impossible for others.

"So uh. Politely. How are we all getting there, exactly." he asks, placing a fist into a hand as he ponders this.

"Is there a magic way? Or is it the old fashioned way? On planes?" he asks.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"There's a couple of us who speak French to greater and lesser degrees." Naru comments thoughtfully, with a glance to Chat Noir and a flicker of a smile, leaning in to the touch around her shoulder from him.

Naru is not in henshin, prefering to continue to largely be herself as she's always been. She's not even gone around telling people! She does, however, have a notebook and appears to be taking notes. "I've always wanted to go to Paris." She comments quietlyy.

Naru's attention settles over to Kunzite as he shares what he nods and she nods. She's got a coffee, because of course she does and she takes a drink of it before continueing to take notes.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Well..." On the one hand, Hinoiri had definitely not wanted her to share where she got her information. On the other hand, Hinoiri could probably use some good press right now? On a third, hypothetical hand, did it matter where she got the info from?

"So it turns out, thanks to something messing with the leylines, there are like...three places where there's a ton of magic on Earth, now. Seattle, over in America, Paris, France, and right here in Tokyo, but, I still kind of thought she'd be in another dimension, not another planet?"

And Rashmi brings up an excellent point, so Sailor Moon squeezes Mamoru's hand, and then taps her cheek, a little, before saying -

"So - oh man how much summary - oh, well that works, thank you Kunzite! What he said, except, also, Metallia used to be from the Sun, like, the Sun had an evil demon baby, so she was called the Demon from the Sun. Thousands and thousands of years ago, after she tried to destroy all life, my mother, Queen Serenity, managed to seal her away - this time on Earth, instead of back in the Sun. And Chrono, we do! Mercury-chan's made a tracking program, and she's... well... here."

And she draws a circle on the map, in thin black marker, circling a large portion of what looks like downtown Paris.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"I'm figuring we'll use the group teleport that the Senshi use, which also got used to get everyone out of that dimensional bubble of the far past," Tuxedo Kamen answers Hinote, narrowly avoiding leaning his head against Sailor Moon or Jadeite. "Everyone holds hands and whoever has energy to spare lends it to the people who know how to group teleport, and everyone in the circle goes with."

Bow has posed:
Bow takes in the information, jotting down diligent notes. As he listens and writes, he pauses, jotting down a note in the margain. "First question. Are you alright?" that is asked of Tuxedo Mask, a concerned look crossing his features for one of the first friends he made on Earth.

"Second question is for you, Sailor Moon. Is the reason that this Metallia is back and more powerful because of what Hinoiri did to the sun a few weeks back?" And then Tuxedo Mask brings up the Sailor Express Teleport and his eyes glimmer and sparkle for a moment. "That is sooo coool. I'm gonna have to tell Glimmer about it, she's all about teleport magic!" he starts to say and then pauses...

"Crap, forgot she's a bad guy." he grumbles.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir catches Chrono's look his way. It's responded to with a solemn, serious single dip nod of his head in agreement. There really was no way he wasn't going to get involved after all. As he had said, it was his city. His home. Even if he'd been here a year that didn't mean he wasn't going to willingly leap into action for his first home city.

An ear twitches toward Naru when she quietly mentions having always wanted to go to Paris. The arm around her tightens with a little squeeze as his grin broadens to flash his teeth in a sly smile. "Not the way I would have taken you there, but I'd love to show you around." Leaning in he gives her cheek a quick kiss, before adding, "I'll make it up to you with a real trip once this is over." Business first. Dating later.

The map pointing out the location causes a small frown. "The Tower is there, and it was always pretty heavily affected by a lot of things so it's likely a 'hot spot' as you might call it. Otherwise..." He pauses. Considers. Opens his mouth, and then closes it with a click of teeth. "... I'll let you continue. Let me check with some of my friends back there and see if they've noticed anything weird happening." Which he does right now by tugging out his phone to pull up a few numbers and begin tapping out some questions.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy just... stares as Kunzite and Sailor Moon explain. Then she sees how this ties into the demon from the past thing which she had heard about... right, right. "So we're fighting an ancient demon from at least 14,000 years ago... Damn." She looks between Cat Noir and Naru. "Uhh... [parles-vous francais] I mean, [parles moi francais non]."

Also: "Seattle is magic? Who would have known... Does that mean there's like... American and French magical girl and boy teams in those cities going through what we're going through in Tokyo?"

Erika Shimizu has posed:
Some kind of sun demon that can corrupt the whole earth.
Now. We're not going to say that Jolly Roger nearly jumps out of her skin when she hears Kunzite. But we're not going to say she doesn't do that either, as she adjusts her hat and gets the low down on the situation.
    She nods.
"Right then. So we're stoppin' a life-stealin' sun demon thingy. I'm in."
    Well that was easy.
"But y'all each owe me... One soda."
That's her price. What a devilish mercenary she is. Except she's saying she's basically doing this pro bono in her own way.
Look at that stupid grin on the pirate's face. It's such a grin.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Uh," Sailor Moon answers Bow, before cocking her head, thinking about it - "Good question, but I don't think Hinoiri caused this. When we went to the Moon, we... got some information, that said the Sun like, hurts Metallia now, which is probably why Cat Noir never saw her in Paris - she's probably like, underground or something, but, I don't know how much of Paris is underground."

Boy is she in for a rude awakening.

"Last time, Metallia grew stronger because of energy draining. So Hinoiri might be a little at fault, because she helped Obsidian drain energy, but like... the Dark Kingdom has more than just her... so there's plenty of fault to go around."

Erika earns a little grin, and a thumbs up.

"You got it! A soda for sure... and Amy, I've got no clue - I've never been out of Japan, but, I mean, Cat Noir is from Paris, so that's one Parisian magical boy."

Haruka Tenoh has posed:
Haruka is mostly here on behalf of her sub-crew of Senshi, and less to answer questions. She doesn't have much of her own - probably Michi or Setsu would, and she kind of regrets not having more.

"Is there anything specific we need to know going in, or prepare for?" She tries.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
"Paris," repeats Hope Blossom. She is here, and her hair is long and slightly split down the middle, indicating that she's henshined with Brai for those in the know. Gretchen, Medo, Sio and Lydian hovering over her shoulders. The X-Witch has filled the lower half of her egg with freshly made pizza bites and is sharing with her sisters as they all listen to Sailor Moon's briefing.

"She's hiding in Paris." Hope crosses her arms and leans back against a desk, trying to process what that all means. Did any of her past selves ever know where Beryl was? Her memory of such details are far too muddied to remember.

Madoka glances over at Tuxedo Kamen with a soft smile and maybe a little bit of pity. Poor guy has had it rough. Maybe once Metallia gets put out of everyone's misery he'll finally catch a break.

Adding onto Kunzites words, she says, "So basically, we need to stop Metallia now, before we get a repeat of what we saw in the time bubble."

Jadeite has posed:
"Why does it have to be on the west coast? I could navigate a magical hell if it was in Chicago or Indianapolis," Tamaki grumbles as he reaches into his bag and tosses Erica a lychee soda.

"Metallia and Beryl were able to mind control and puppeteer people, but it always took multiple days to pull off. I think - I hope - that we'll simply be dealing with massive firepower rather than making us fight each other."

He squeezes Mamoru's hand. He'll make SURE they don't have to go through that again. With physical force, if neccessary.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"I'll be more alright when this is over," Mamoru tells Bow honestly, giving his extradimensional archer friend a wry little smile. "It's been very heavy for a long time."

Bow probably meant 'from your recent ordeal' but Tux isn't getting into that, really, not in front of everyone and maybe not at all. There are some nightmares that just don't need sharing.

His wry smile gets a little less wry at Jolly Roger's price. "You didn't specify what kind of soda, I hope you like a variety."

Then he shakes his head. "She was down a long, long flight of stairs, very deep in the Dark Kingdom's... dimension, sort of. It's definitely not part of Earth, even if it maybe once was. Maybe it wasn't, maybe it's just part of the Dusk Zone, but... the important part is, Metallia's been growing in her hole in the ground for years. At least three, probably at least a little longer."

Naru Osaka has posed:
"Depending on how this trip goes.." Naru starts replying to Chat Noir and then there's a humourless little laugh. They are going to go confront Metallia. It is going to suck and they are not going to want to touristy afterwards. They'll (hopefully) want to sit and exhaustedly eat shwarma.

Naru mms softly at the reassurance that Hinoiri didn't add to this directly. It's reasonable. She isn't the cause of ALL of their problems! That's too much, even for her.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
As Haruka asks the loaded question, Rashmi looks over at Chrono, taking the Enforcer's hand and squeezing gently. The more information is shared, the more this looks like the kind of battle that--

--Oh good *only* massive firepower from a millennia-old demon born of the entire sun. Chrono can see it in her eyes, the sense that she's getting in way over her head. Still...

Letting out a small breath, she looks back at Usagi, and raises her voice. "So besides Metallia and Beryl herself... Is there anyone else we might have to watch out for?"

Zoisite has posed:
Standing by one of the walls with Kunzite is Zoisite, one hand occupied by twirling a strand of hair around his finger. He hasn't had much to offer yet, nor does he add anything now, his focus instead on Tuxedo Kamen at the front. For now his expression is unreadable, his gaze shaded as he keeps his thoughts to himself.

But he is here, to offer support how he can.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Pulp Noir listens and ahhhs. "So. Magic. That's a long way to teleport. But with everyone going it should be easy with that much energy..." he thinks as he draws his arms back and rests them against his sides, one finding it;'s way into a pocket.

"One Soda? Sure." he says as he draws out a coin from his pocket and starts flipping it as he considers.

"Right. What can we expect? Do you need reconnaissance?" he asks curiously.

"Because I'm good at that."

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy blinks at Wing. "What. Wait, how does that work? I thought if a mundane looked at that stuff it like... broke. How does she..." She pulls out her phone and starts trying to find this through the metube app.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Gretchen raises a hand while sitting behind her pizza-bite filled eggshell. "Are any of the moth ladies going to be there? How many youma are we expecting?"

Blossom taps her chin and wonders out loud. "I mean... while many Puella Magi are here in Tokyo, I'm pretty sure there'd be some scattered all over the world. Guardian Chara aren't strictly limited to here either, though many are drawn here."

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"Please make a note and check the Internet later," Kunzite says to Amy. "We have a different focus at the moment; you can follow up afterward."

Jadeite has posed:
"Beryl's right hand Thetis is still around," Tamaki tells Rashmi. "We'll likely have to get through her to get to Beryl. She uses water magic, and she has escalated to lethal force multiple times; we have to assume that we'll need to be equally willing to kill to defeat her."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Haruka asks if there's anything they need to know now, and Sailor Moon nods a little, especially when Gretchen pipes up.

"I think the main thing to know is... we're attacking them. That means that, like Madoka-chan says - we're going first, before they're ready, and before she's ready to try and eat our whole world. We might catch them off-guard, but there's probably going to be a lot of defenses. Like, youma for sure, and if they have any other generals on their side... so maybe those moth girls? But probably not Riventon. I've got a feeling he'll have a convenient case of 'wow I'm not on this side of the planet'."

At the request for reconnaissance, she says, honestly, "I don't know if we'll have time. Once we get in, we might be in... and with that said... there's a real chance we could get really badly hurt, or die. So everyone should keep that in mind, because - because we need all the help we can get, but also, this is going to be really scary."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir goes quiet while just leaning into Naru no matter how it might look. Especially given many knew her boyfriend. His head tilts a bit at mention of reporters. "A friend of ours in Paris 'reports' on myself and Ladybug, too. The Ladyblog," he explains. "I think they've been touched enough by magic that it just kind of broke for them? The majority think that her blog is just a story being told that she's writing, of course, but it's... Really more spot on than you may think."

Also against the wall is the plum-haired candygirl many knew. Chiyo had been listening, quietly, while pausing here and there to glance in a compact to touch up her makeup juuust a tad. It was messier than usual. Maybe she'd just woken up before rushing over here. As the topic goes to the Dark Kingdom and the entrances being in multiple areas, she looks up a bit thoughtfully. Only to finally remark, "That sounds awfully similar to how Phantom moves around through that creepy graveyard of his. It's not really attached any *where*, I guess, but it can access areas all over the world. It's probably a similar little pocket dimension just adjacent to ours I guess?" At least it kind of made sense.

Bow has posed:
Sitting in the back of the room, having been quiet for the most part is the coloful oranges and yellows of Cure Wing. When Amy asks her question, he lights up. "There are pretty cure teams all over the world!" he says properly and with a bright grin. "Like, there the Bomber Girls in Texas and Cure Art, she's in Paris."

"There's a lot of channels on metube that talk about Precures, but their mostly bunk and balderdash. But there's one girl that's come really close to home."

Erika Shimizu has posed:
And thus, the pirate has receieved a down payment. Catching the tossed soda, Erika shoots Tamaki a grin and a wink before she drums her fingers on the can, pops the tab and takes a long, deep, pull.
"Ha har! That's the thing... I love *all* soda." She replies to Tuxedo Kamen.
Slowly sipping at her freshly procure lychee soda- lychee is a great flavor by the way- she ponders for a beat.
"... Underground? In Paris? Uhhhhhhhhh..." This makes her raise her hand.
"Don't there be like... Sprawlin' catacombs under Paris? Me old man visited once, when I was a wee sprat. Told me all about it."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco was admittedly worried about bringing someone who had unlocked their magic the other day to such an important meeting, because they typically heralded some especially dangerous encounters. Even so, she ended up reasoning that it was better that Seiko be empowered and aware instead of letting her walk blindly into danger. Even so, before introducing her to the Shed, she made it clear that just because she is taking part into the meeting, the pinkette didn't have to feel obligated to take part in anything she didn't feel she was ready for.

Besides having been there for the Sailor Senshi whenever she could or they could use her being there, Coco hasn't had the opportunity to be filled in on everything that they had discovered or known, so she shares the general confusion over Metallia's origins, not that the extent of her powers isn't already a concerning factor. Even so, the fact something that powerful has been Beryl's backer all this time, it really makes her shudder with the extent of what such an old demon could be doing, even if the fact that the sun was now inimical to her did provide some relief. For now she is just paying attention to what others say.

Seiko Akai has posed:
Seiko sneaks in the back of the room. She quietly makes her way over to where Coco is sitting and she sits down near her. She leans towards her and whispers, "Umm What did we all miss?" She asks as she looks around at the sheer number of people here. She winces and seems to shrink out of view. Her little Chara, Hoshi, flies around her with her glow sticks twirling in her hands.

The shy Pinkette looks around again. "I think maybe I should go." The shy level of the girl is skyrocketing as she looks towards Coco. "I'm sorry. This is too much!" She exclaims softly before standing and turning toward the door.

Naru Osaka has posed:
"Thetis is pretty solidly willing to use lethal force, and she's prety much awful." Naru confirms as she casually leans into Chat Noir. "I really hope we don't end up meeting everyone at once."

Naru drinks a little more coffee, looking around to various people as she keeps making more notes

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"What's a catacomb?" Sailor Moon asks, looking woeful. Coco slips in with a girl Sailor Moon doesn't recognize, and she waves - only to wince when the other girl promptly flees.

"...well, that's fair."

Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka's four Chara all turn to look at Hoshi and Seiko as they wander in, only to flee. Lydian says, "Hey, is that the new girl we were told about?"

Sio shrugs and says, "Well, maybe we can meet them later. This is heavy stuff for someone new."

The fairies and Madoka all wave at Coco when she comes in, before settling back in to listen to the goings on.

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown glanced to the fleeing girl and... "Yeah, honestly? I'm surprised there aren't more people who do that." Pause. "N-no offense," he said quickly. What? He had nothing but respect for the mahou... but this crud was crazy.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Catacombs," Mamoru says apologetically to Usagi, looking up from where he's sitting between her and Tamaki, "are tunnels underground that are or were used for various secret purposes. The ones in Paris are primarily full of skeletons. Lots of bones. They're really truly unnecessarily scary, I'm so sorry."

Bow has posed:
When Seiko speaks up, Bow sits up and glances up and gives her a friendly wave. "Hey! Don't have to leave you don't want. Don't have to stay either! We're just talking about heavy stuff, so, up to you!"

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir winces a bit when underground is mentioned, and the catacombs. At Sailor Moon's question he lets out a sigh. Again his free hand raises, waggling his fingers in the air breifly. It was the classroom setting the Shed had that made him just automatically raise his hand as if he were speaking up for a teacher or presenter. It's one of those in-grained habits of being a student.

"The Catacombs of Paris. I was hoping that might not be the case. Paris was built up ontop of an older city after a fire long ago. The Catacombs were originally tunnels that were former quarries, but they were used as anything from smuggling tunnels to... More moribidly... Graves." A long pause follows.

"A. LOT. Of graves."

Here he pauses with ears drooping just a bit. "It's a huge labrynth underground. I've used parts of it before to travel around, but only the surface tunnels. They go up to twenty meters deep, or more. And... Yes, Tuxedo Kamen is correct. There were so many that died they didn't bother to make individual graves. They used the bones to line the walkways and paths. Thousands... Probably more."

Haruka Tenoh has posed:
Haruka sighs. "So we have a spooky evil sun demon and her demon-karen and their assorted lackeys that are hiding out in an underground graveyard where the walls are bones and skulls and stuff." she says, bluntly. "Another day in magicland."

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy jumps slightly at being chastised for checking her phone. "I'm... I was just confirming I can find it! I'll follow her and check from my PC after."

They're talking about weapons. "I... ...I always said I'd be ready if I had to do that, but I guess we find out the truth soon. My weapons are certainly suited to it if we have to kill someone. ...Or at least, I thought so but it's amazing what won't kill magic people."

She blinks at Cat Noir. She's vaguely heard of this before but just. Has no idea. "Twenty meters deep... wait, did he say full of skeletons?" She shivers. "Urrrgh..."

Jadeite has posed:
Tamaki raises his hand, addressing Cat Noir and Tuxedo Kamen, catacomb experts.

"Will there be ghosts? Do we know if Metallia's puppetry or youma creation works on dead people? If we're going into an undead situation, we should be prepared. Are the catacombs well built or do we need to be careful of not making them collapse? Is there human security we need to worry about?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Pulp Noir looks over at the newcomer and oh, is that another Chara-bearer!? But, they're gona mid wave from him as he huhs. "Guess...it is kind of overwhelming if you're not used to groups." he says.

He huhs when the catacombs are mentioned. "Never been there.. Except on a tour once. But that's like controlled and boring." he says. "It is kinda spooky, but they're just bones." pause.

"Unless they come to life. God I hope they don't come to life." he says, drawing his fedora down a little more.

Erika Shimizu has posed:
Again, Jolly Roger raises her hand, but it's more for an announcement than a question: "Iffin' any of ye have like... Holy powers or somethin' gimme a warnin' before usin' em against any undead type things. So I can avoid the blast, har har."
She doesn't want to test it.
SHE DOESN'T WANT TO TEST IT.

Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"They're almost certainly going to come to life," Kunzite says, resigned. "Bones by themselves are just inanimate objects. Being able to pull a spirit out of them and corrupt it doesn't seem unlikely."

At least it probably won't be a vampire. One Slasher at a time is enough.

He quirks an eyebrow at Jolly Roger. "Any chance you can talk them into your crew?"

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir shakes his head at Amy with a wrueful, apologetic smile. "Not skeletons. Bones. They're not really.... Assembled. More used like bricks?" His voice almost squeaks because really trying to explain the catacombs to people outside of Paris did sound VERY morbid. "If needing to be from the same skeleton to bring them back to life is a factor, that may actually be in our favor. Those bones are so mixed up there's no way of telling what goes where, or belongs to whom."

"For those that may want to go in prepared for what to see, there's photos online. A few companies run tours in the mapped parts of the Catacombs."

Tamaki's raised question earns a smile as he shakes his head. "Thankfully? No, no ghosts that I'm aware of. There's plenty of haunted places in France, but I've never run across a ghost there." He doesn't say he hadn't elsewhere though.

"The only areas with security are around where the tours are run and that's sporadic at best. Usually it's just locked up so people can't wander in accidentally. There's *many* entrances though. Too many to guard." As for the rest he considers. "It's as dangerous as any tunnel would be. Well constructed or not, these have been around for hundreds of years. Be careful."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Sailor Moon takes a seat on a desk and puts her head in her hands. Obviously she can't run away and she won't but there are tunnels full of skeletons and the walls are lined with bones and Metallia is at the bottom at least twenty meters deep probably and she would love to blue screen right now.

I's a good thing no one can read her thoughts because she's screaming internally.

"Of course there's a terrible place full of bones," she whimpers a little, before gathering herself up. "I don't think she can use ghosts, and I don't think she can use..."

Her face goes green.

"Fresh dead bodies. If she could, back in the past... I think we would have lost more than we did. But... if they're in her base and she can mess with them... she'll probably use the bones."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown just looks to Cat Noir. "Excuse you?" he asked. "You used bodies as bricks?" Okay, that. That was where he almost drew the line. Undead? Fine. Ghosts? Okay. Cursed pirates and sun demons? Whatever.

But using the bodies as bricks?

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Tuxedo Kamen shifts on his desk-edge perch and takes a breath. "I can see ghosts, but I never saw any in the Dark Kingdom's tunnels except for my sister, who's not around anymore. Regular ghosts don't animate skeletons, they just sort of exist and don't do much of anything, so you don't have to be afraid of them. The real problem is youmas. There will probably be skeleton youmas, I'm really sorry."

He lets go of Tamaki's hand to gesture at Kunzite. "What he said. Fortunately, corrupting a ghost with dark energy, you can just purify it and it'll be free to go be dead by itself, or pass on or reincarnate or whatever."

Naru Osaka has posed:
"We never have the sort of luck where hanging out in catacacombs full of bones AREn't going to come to life and try and eat our faces." Naru mutters dryly as she gives her coffee a little swirl.

Naru glances over to watch Usagi mostly bluescreen and then nod a little as she manages to reboot relatively quickly. It's /fine/.

Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy feels kind of bad for finding undead skeletons so spooky, so honestly feels a little bit relieved to 1. be reminded that a disorganized ossuary probably isn't great for necromancers animating whole skeletons and 2. seeing that Sailor Moon is also looking uncomfortable with it.

    Also.

"Wait. Ghosts are real?!" Amy blinks at Tuzedo Mask, and then sinks in her chair. "Right. Of course. I have so many questions about how the world really works..."

Bow has posed:
"Aww." Bow says in quiet sadness, "I was hoping Jolly Roger would sign a sea shanty to recruit the dead to her side and thin the possible herd that way." he murmurs. Though really all this talk of walking dead and such has him freaked out.

Jolly Roger's cool cause he had ice cream with her and she saved his life when he first arrived.

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir holds up both hands at Chrono with a grimace. "Hey, not ME personally! This is not something that still happens! Between the Plague, and the prisons, there were so many that died that the churches couldn't inter them all and they used them to make the catacombs. There were many valid reasons that the Revolution against the Royals occured and this was certainly among them."

With a sigh he states, "Just Woogle it and let's move on for now? Please? I'll help lead the way where I can through them though," he assures. He is not going to mention the church made of bones around Chrono. Nope. Never. France really had some morbid ways of building in the past.

Erika Shimizu has posed:
"..." That's a good question. Kunzite makes Erika rub her chin in thought for a good moment, brow furrowed.R    "I suppose I could always pressgang a few new recruits into the Disaster's Wake crew? Mayyyyybe?" She considers. "I'd hafta come up with an appropriate pressgangin' shanty."
She pauses.
"Amy, lass, I be an actual *zombie*. If I exist I wouldn't be surprised by ghosts." Jolly does point out.
Bow's cool, too.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Okay," Sailor Moon says it a little loudly, "So, Jolly is going to handle the bones! We love that for her!"

Please, please no more scary bone talk until she has to see them with her own terrified eyes.

"Does anyone have anymore questions? Because if not... I don't think we should sit on this. Given what happened yesterday, and how they tried to take the whole city, we should... we should move as soon as we can. Today, I think."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Cat Noir adds a bit reassuringly, "Oh, not *all* of the catacombs have... those in it. Just areas." A small reassurance for Usagi.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
"The landing point," Rashmi says loudly, to help move the conversation along. "Do we know if there's room for all of us to... y'know, fit? Or should we expect to get separated?"

Rashmi does not do well with horror movies. Chiyo has seen this. *That's* why she's squeezing Chrono's hand a bit more forcefully than perhaps she would.

"Because if the latter, I should set up the comms net *before* we go."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Yeah, whoever's coming, go see people you love just in case you die, go eat some food and remember to hydrate, and also if we have to trek through a lot of tunnels probably bring more water, say some prayers if you do that..." Tuxedo Kamen says, standing up finally and slinging a caped arm around Sailor Moon's shoulders.

He glances up at Rashmi, then nods. "Good plan," he says, and then his phone buzzes in his pocket and he frowns a little, taking it out and biting off his glove so he can thumb it around one-handed.

He makes a strangled little laughing sound, then shows Usagi first, then announces, "Riventon thinks Beryl might be in Paris."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown gives Rashmi's hand a small squeeze and then, over their com network...

<< Don't worry. If you get lost, I'll find you. I'm very good at that. >>

Everyone, please ignore the fact he has been looking for his mother for about a year.

Amanda Faust has posed:
See your loved ones... is Hannah able to come? Amy supposes she should maybe also leave letters that can be sent to her family, even if they can't retain knowledge of magic. Just... to at least try. Online friends... she would, but what can she even say? 'If you're seeing this message, I became a magical girl and died'?

Tuxedo Kamen explaining the news from Riventon gets a similarly strangled chuckle. "I'm glad he's at least trying to help stop her, at least."

Bow has posed:
"I'll see if I can get She-Ra to join us." Bow finally offers. "Her and Scorpia. They might be to help, simply with their strength."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
The talk of preparing and getting things to eat, and saying goodbye to loved ones, has Cat Noir glance to Naru. His expression is tight, and difficult to read. There was one person he couldn't really say goodbye to properly, could he? But if he didn't go this was bound to be all the harder for those who were going.

"Right. Also flash lights is a good idea. And..." He considers a moment. "Red light, perhaps? To save our night vision. I can see in the dark," he remarks tapping a clawed fingertip to his mask, "But I know many can't. I know red isn't exactly a cheery color but maybe it'll make things seem more like a video game than reality so far as our surroundings?" He's trying to help. A bit. It probably isn't.

Looking over to Rashmi he adds, "There's a park I know if that would be big enough for us to teleport into, and it's closed at night. It should be safe to land there. A normal park," he adds with a sheepish grin.

Jadeite has posed:
"You may want to being a backpack or suitcase with some changes of clothes and toiletries - we may be there for a few days and you'll want to bring things you're comfortable in," Tamaki reccomends, flicking through his phone. "Paris is cloudy skies in the 60s and 70s so dress accordingly! If people need hotel rooms, please let me know - I'm going to try and set up places for us to stay in advance!"

Look. There's plnety of magical things to be worried about and that's all well and good, but they'll need a place to sleep, a place to go for privacy, and Tamaki's gotten permission from his parents to use credit card no jutsu for this "field trip to Paris." He's going to use it accordingly.

Rashmi Terios has posed:
<< You are, >> Rashmi answers, closing her eyes for a moment. Even if his mother has stayed stubbornly missing, Rashmi knows that Chrono would not leave a single stone -- or bone, it seems -- unturned in all of Paris to find her. << What do I say to Mami and Papi, though? >>

"Pack for a weekend trip," she echoes out loud, swallowing a sudden lump in her throat. "Got it."

Chrono Harlaown has posed:
Chrono Harlaown just gave Rashmi a comforting smile. << That you and I are going on a trip with some of our chosen family. Setsuna and the others will be there, and if anything happened to me, I know they'd makesure you were okay. Trust me. I've been on plenty of planets filled with bones, there's little to be afraid of. >>

You know, aside from the people trying to kill them.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I like the idea of teleporting into a normal park... and I like the idea of having comms set up before we go. So... maybe we could meet up around..."

She checks her phone.

"5pm? It will be around 1am Paris time, so hopefully people won't be looking out for us... and... Tamakun?" She's offering him a wry, but sad smile. "I think we can wait on hotel rooms until after its done. Not to be morbid, but I get a feeling that once we start... we have to finish it. No heading back to the save-point."

She doesn't know what she's going to say to her parents and Shingo, what she's going to do, how she's going to even begin to explain - and she knows she's going to have a house full of friends this afternoon, because like hell is she letting any of her friends without families to go back to miss anyone, anything.

Naru Osaka has posed:
There's an awful lot of 'I have no idea what to tell my family' thoughts going on around the place, and Naru is no different. She sets her pen down to lean over and wrap both arms around Chat Noir, to give him a brief squeeze.

"The park sounds good." Naru comments aloud, with a nod. "Meet at five pm, and try not to be late. It's a long walk to Paris."

Adrien Agreste has posed:
Ami speaks up from where she'd been working diligently on her laptop. While she'd remained quiet as she was still monitoring things, she had been paying attention. Now she clicks the laptop shut and rises to walk over to Sailor Moon's other side. A hand rests gently on her shoulder.

"We can bring some tents, too, so that if we have to rest we won't have to look at our surroundings while doing it," she points out. "It'll be easy enough to reuse the ones that Pluto had obtained."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Pulp Noir takes a deep breath. "Today? We leave today? Alright. I can handle that. I can make up a good excuse to be gone for a few days." he says. "Yeah.." he says. "Just. Lemme know when we're leaving. I'll come along." he says. "I'll be sure to bring things. There seems to be space in my coat for a lot." he says.

"Yeah I'll pack. Let my mom know what's going on within reason. Dad's on a shoot in the USA, so I'll have to facetime him." He says a little sadness in his tone.

"5pm? Alright."

Amanda Faust has posed:
At least she doesn't have to carry a backpack of clothes around, Amy reflects. Which means... carrying more water and food, probably. She suspects she can go without by running on magic, but that's probably not pleasant... A realization flickers across her face.

The redhead raises her hand and looks at Madoka. "How uh... how's our grief seed supply? If um... we need to use a lot of magic... I have one a bit more than half-expended, and one fresh one."

She blinks and looks around. "...Wait, am I the only Puella Magi going?"

Bow has posed:
"I just want to say, while we're all here... since I came to Earth, I have missed Etheria." Bow starts with a sigh. "But since meeting you all, you have made me welcomed and wanted. I'm glad to call many of you friends, and those I haven't called friend - well, I just haven't met you yet. I still remember what I promised when this is over."

"Fireworks, music and a party on the beach. I'll see you all there." he promises.

Erika Shimizu has posed:
Tugging her hat off, Jolly Roger has a sudden realization.
"Ah hell, I gotta tell Hina I might die for realsies. Tha'll be fun." She mutters while rubbing the back of her neck before she pulls out her smartphone and stares woefully at the screen.

Madoka Kaname has posed:
To Amy, Madoka asides, "I have a couple I can lend you. I can also pack some things inside Gretchen's Labyrinth. Just... not food. Well, not food you don't intend to sacrifice to Gretchen."

Gretchen smirks, "I will accept all food sacrifices! More seriously though I can carry a few things and if they're not food they probably wont get corrupted by my pocket dimension. My gunpla have turned out fine so far."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
<<Hours Later>>

Preparations are made, and allies arrive to the Shed, some on their own, some in groups, but in the end, it's quite the large group of Mahou who arrive. Some have backpacks full of supplies, others have magical storage spaces - some have eyes red from crying and others faces set with determination.

All of them are ready, and together, they join hands. A rainbow of lights rise from them, joining together, sparks of energy flying to connect them, as those who can't directly guide the Sailor Teleport pass their energy along to those who can -

And then light streaks across the sky, carrying them all away. Left behind is a crushed and compressed circle of Earth, where the land was damaged by the weight of their power.

If all had gone well, they would have landed in the small park Cat Noir showed them. It would have been fairly dark and quiet (as dark and quiet as it gets in the City of Lights), andf from there they would have crept into the catacombs, made their way using less well-known, less-likely-to-be-watched entrancces.

But all does not go well. When the teleport has almost completed, when they're almost to the ground, there's a swell of energy all around them, dark and heavy, and the rainbow lights split apart, driven to the ground - through the ground -

Until, scattered across the Catacombs of Paris, in various rooms. Luckily, no matter where they ended up, they're able to stand to their full heights - not a thing guaranteed in these often-tight spaces.

Unluckily, they have inevitably ended up in rooms lined with human bones.

To say Sailor Moon (and likely a few others, at least) shrieks is an understatement.

Welcome, Mahou, to B-Point.
