- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
So for context: the study group had been studying away when Sugata and Mamoru went off to get KFC, and ran into Coco and Rihito and Amy, and then Madoka because... SHESHE AND MIMI showed up and broke into Kamiko's Labyrinth, and man those last two were no good to run into, and Cho who was serious and COCO ACTUALLY DIED IN FRONT OF THEM and then her mother sacrificed herself to make Coco queen-goddess--
When the KFC and Mamoru make it back to the apartment, it's without a Sugata (who left because Wako had already left), but it's with Amy and Madoka and Homura and Cho and Madoka's charas and Rihito.
It's not that goddess-queens are too good for KFC, it's just that Coco's a merciful one and will join everyone shortly.
When they got there, Mamoru at least immediately went and kissed Usagi and Kazuo and therefore let them both know he's carrying new trauma. The important part though is that he has also shoved most of the KFC at Kazuo to sort out onto the big dining room table. All the drapes are wide open, letting the daylight flood the quiet tapestry-hung living room with its cushions and couches and low tables.
"Coco'll be here soon too," he says, perfectly normally.
- Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Kazuo hung onto Mamoru for an extra moment afterward, forehead leaned against forehead, but only a moment. Then he was taking the KFC and setting the boxes on platters he'd already set out to protect the table. There are a lot of platters, because he has met Sugata and was aware that sending Mamoru and Sugata together to get KFC risked Mamoru coming back as a bewildered restaurant owner. There are not enough platters. He exhales, and goes to get a stack of plates to match the two already out, and add the rest. Both chopsticks and Western-style silverware are already out with the plates, along with Western-style napkins.
... drinks and sugary snacks have of course already been out and available. They have met a few mahou. Still. Next step after getting the KFC sorted and available: restock the chocolate, because there are charas and Mamoru.
- Coco Delrieu has posed:
After leaving Sheshe and Mimi to the care of her attendants in the South Pacific, Coco made a quick stop to quickly sum up what transpired (and wait out the end of hugs and worries from from Nikora and Hippo). She promised she'd be there later for a more detailed report, and they will need to decide where the Black Beauty Sisters will actually live beyond their temporary arrangement.
But that's for later, and since Hinoiri is coming too, the blonde girl turns to Nikora, and after asking the pink mermaid to borrow their food, she puts into a bag anything vegetarian they have.
The KFC really isn't known for much other than meat, after all. When she arrives to Mamoru apartment, she finds Rihito turning to him with a question.
"What subject were you going to study?", the black-haired man asks. This is just that time of the year, and Coco has told him at length about the graduation party Usagi is organising.
But then Coco smiles brightly, and yells out a loud "Hello, everyone!" - she missed actually being able to use her own voice - and goes over to hug Rihito. "Been getting along?", she asks him, and he nods with a smile. "Absolutely. But you didn't miss much."
Lifting the bag she brought on a nearby table, she starts taking out caprese skewers with tomato, mozzarella, and basil, veggie spring rolls, mushrooms stuffed with cheese and herbs, a cheese platter with crackers and fruit, vegetable pakoras, fruit skewers and mini blueberry cupcakes.
"Just something I brought out to round out our options", she adds.
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi (and Kazuo and Hinoiri and Wako-who-has-gone-now) had continued to study while the Rich Boys went out to get them all the brain food of the gods, but when Mamoru returns - with Homura and Madoka and Amy and maybe Rihito in tow - it's already clear that something bad happened. It only takes that one kiss to know what, and Usagi's horror and worry have her both hugging Mamoru and scanning for Coco until he says what he says, and she pulls her face together and recognizes that he's not dropping the news for anyone else, and she breathes deep.
"Good. That's - good. That's good!"
Like she hasn't just heard that her husband is traumatized because he saw their friend die and come back.
Thankfully, Coco comes back very quickly, full of energy and life and a voice louder than Usagi has heard in weeks, and so many snacks -
"You're spoiling us, Coco-chan, and Mamochan and Sugata-kun were already spoiling us!" She hops to her feet and starts helping Coco set things out, passing Kazuo in the kitchen to get some more plates for people to use.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Hope Concept, after Coco left for the South Pacific, had been on her smartphone as she hovered behind Homura while they waited in line. The Veil decided to handle this by making Madoka invisible to them because Hope Concept is already dancing on the edge of existence as she is. After she was done texting the newly minted goddess-queen, Madoka remembered that she should probably drop henshin to help Homura (and others) carry their order back. It's likely that nobody non-magical noticed that the pink girl just appeared out of thin air, because change blindness is a funny thing.
Look, she had other worries on her mind and Kamiko wasn't complaining.
Now Madoka and Homura are settling down within Mamoru's apartment while Kamiko, Sio and Tia float circles around their Chara Bearer's head. None of them are particularly eager to be caught out without Madoka around considering what just happened, even if they are mostly safe from water demons right now.
"Thank you for inviting us over," says Homura to Kazuo and Mamoru, to which Madoka agrees and repeats the sentiment. This is followed by a chorus of Guardian Chara saying, 'Thanks!', 'Thank you!', and 'We appreciate your hospitality' with varying degrees of politeness and formality.
When Coco arrives a little while later with more food, Kamiko speeds towards her and offers her a tiny hug on her shoulder. "I'm glad you're feeling better."
Tia hovers over a table and starts setting up another, Chara-scale table and a tiny little tea set, hoping to continue here the party that Sheshe and Mimi interrupted.
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy was this close to dehenshining before remembering she was still pain-blocking an injury, there was a "Uhhh Mamoru I almost forgot but that clarinet felt like when Flickerman punched me but worse can you take a look" moment and some healing, and then she could safely dehenshin and there was room-temperature KFC in her pockets.
So now she's at the apartment with the rest, finishing up microwaving the meal she didn't actually get to eat.
Having no broken ribs and the smell of hot food in front of her she's about to consume has her in high spirits, and she calls back, "Hiiiii Cocooooo!" from the kitchen, as she makes her way out with her plate.
She glances over to Usagi, still smiling, "Maybe it's good to be spoiled sometimes."
- Hinoiri Kirara has posed:
Hinoiri Kirara had, of course, wanted to attend! When she heard the sisters had been beaten, she was ecstatic! And agreed to head on over!
... The stack of books, however, was... questionable. Requiring her to drag Niji along just to help carry some of the books... Was she studying... something... magic related? Or for upcoming tests?
Ha ha ha... both. It was both. It was BOTH.
She uhhh.... was a bit... eh. At the chicken. Not that she didn't appreciate the food, but welllll... Of course, seeing Coco? That made her grin even wider. "Heyyyy! How's the singing mermaid doing? Looking great!" she said.
And best of all? Spring rolls, stuffed mushrooms, cheese platter... oh, blueberry cupcakes. Yes. This. this is why she worked for this girl very often. Mermaids made the best employers. Sweet tooth satiated...
Best of all? Her old coworkers hadn't been... well... She... was admittedly happy that the sisters had been defeated non-finality. Yes, they were a pain. But... she knew them and kind of didn't want them dead. Knowing they could still be about, even if just to see once in a while? Made her pretty happy.
After giving Coco a hug, she'd gathered up a small bit of food, and setup in the corner, going over her notes...
... Who researched THIS much?
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi was... arriving, perhaps, later than even Coco. And had a few scrapes on her, and a very, entirely innocent smile on her face.
"Sorry, Wuwu will be unable to attend this evening, but he sends his condolences for not being able to attend, and he offers these peach cupcakes. I ummm... I'm sorry there's not that many, Cho said sheepishly. There were only like, four. But considering everything else, she had to bring something...
Wuwu made like, 8 'fish' and 'bubble popping' jokes too many, so now he was hog tied back home. Cho would bring him some cake, but everyone else was being spared his presence.
She gave Coco a big hug, then bowed politely to everyone. "I-I think... most everyone here knows me, but ummmm... to those who don't... I am Cho Konishi, Coco's roommate from Radiant Heart. A pleasure to meet you."
- Niji Dasshu has posed:
Niji herself was not present for the battle against Sheshe and Mimi, and therefore didn't see Coco die - which probably was good for several parties. But, she had encountered Hinoiri on the way in who had shared with her some of the good news - and some of the bad, but in a way that indicated it had already been largely, partly, somewhat resolved.
Even still, Coco had better be somewhat prepared for Niji to drop Hinoiri's books on the nearest available flat surface upon arrival and hug the girl tightly.
"HolyCowItSoundsLikeIMissedALotAreYouOkayForSure?!"
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy," Mamoru tells Rihito with a small smile, "I want to go into social work."
He's sorry, he's always sorry now, to Usagi, when bad things happen and she has to think about them, but he also knows better than to apologize, but this time it definitely came with a cringe. There's tight hugging from Usagi though, and even the cringe goes away. And he's forehead to forehead with Kazuo for a moment afterwards, and between the two of them he can continue to function socially for the next few hours.
Then Coco comes back and seeing her hale and whole again makes him relax a bit, too, and she brought delicious food. His eyes open wide. "Coco-chan you brought us a real party! And we should have a party, you're back and healthy!" Homura gets a quick smile, and he says to her and the charas, "You're always welcome. And thank you for trusting me. I hope I was at least mostly always cool."
He starts with a fruit stick and a veggie pakora and no plate, and then he looks to Cho and smiles. "I think we've fought alongside each other a few times over the years, it's good to meet you more properly-- woah!" Because Niji.
- Coco Delrieu has posed:
"That's quite challenging", Rihito comments calmly at Mamoru's plan. "It sounds potentially gratifying, and I hope it gives you what you want."
"We deserve to spoil ourselves a little after everything that happened", Coco winks at Usagi. It has been an eventful month, after all, even more so they were juggling exams at the same time.
She turns toward the pink Chara and pats her on the head after her hug. "Thank you, Kamiko-chan. I am glad to have had you, Madoka and Homura to help me." She follows this comment with a hug to both girls.
The yellow mermaid winks at the other Charas, and adds "I see we have the whole band! It's nice to see the Black Beauty Sisters didn't get you." They really had made a mess of the Wake Labyrinth. Hopefully it won't take too long to get back to normal.
"Things went really well in the end, with all they have done", Rihito observes. "At least they don't actually have much magic now." His powers probably came back to him too, though he didn't actually feel anything either way after their defeat.
"They are being kept at my home, and we will get them to reflect on what they have done", Coco promises, just moments before Hinoiri comes to her with a hug. "I am doing great too! I have never felt this good."
She then looks over her shoulder at the stacks of book the unicorn has brought, and laughs a little. "I see you are as ambitious as ever, Hinoiri-chan."
She gets a good look at Cho when she comes with new scratches and tilts her head at her before her next sentence casts a light on the situation. "It's probably better than under a mountain", she points out, hugging her back.
She then gets Niji's tight hug, and smiles between her arms. "I am fine, thank you, Niji-chan. Aqua Regina appeared, and everyone came through for me. Nothing to worry about now."
The blonde girl gives a small bite to a mushroom, and tells Mamoru. "Nikora gave me all of this. I think she wants us to really relax."
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Amy nods in agreement at Mamoru's assertion that Coco deserves a 'you're not sick anymore and also you're not dead!' party, and Coco's that a little spoiling is deserves after what happened!
And also oh wow look at that food. She adds a blueberry cupcake and a couple of stuffed mushrooms to her plate, because blueberry cupcake and mushrooms are some of the best foods!
And then she notices Tia setting up a little chara-size dinner table and oh gosh. That and the cupcake together might be too much sweetness!
She sits down to eat for a little before they get to talking, just glad to see everyone and watching the tiny tea party with a smile.
- Niji Dasshu has posed:
Niji looks around and takes a slight bow. "To everyone who was here and assisted my friend, please accept my thanks." she says before straightening. "It's... really nice, that even when I'm not there, the team we have can still be able to protect each other." she continues.
"And yeah, hearing that you're also better than you were before that is great, and really a true cause for celebration!" Niji says.
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Mamoru's sorry, and she's sorry, because it wasn't his fault, because it wasn't anyone's fault but the Sisters, because he hurts and she hates that he feels sorry about that... but there's nothing they can do about that. What they can do things about is Coco being here, better, healthy, alive.
"And you're better, for good? You won't get sick again?"
She asks as she's putting plates down for everyone, and picking up one for herself, getting one of everything except the stuffed mushrooms, and sitting next to Mamoru with extra chopsticks - fully intending to force him to eat by keeping food right next to him, and chopsticks in his hand. She hates to ask, because it means they have to talk about it directly - but she's glad for that too.
"To everyone who was there, when I wasn't," and she stuffs down her guilt about that, bowing her head as well, "Thank you for protecting our friend, and making sure you all came back to us."
- Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Kazuo glances around with an expression that, for him, probably equates to 'somewhat alarmed at whatever he missed,' and ends with a slow check of Coco from a distance.
This does not prevent him from fetching a small package from the kitchen and inquiring of Tia, "May I offer you and your company some of these?" before presenting a little assortment of tiny cakes.
(Entrapta lives downstairs. The apartment is now prepared for chara tea parties.)
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Homura looks blankly up at Mamoru thanking her and says, "Trust you? Of course I trust you." She takes a sip of soda before saying, "To me, you've always been the gentle, sensitive type." Whatever Homura means by that is something she keeps to herself. Is it still an in-joke if only one side understands it? Thinking of that makes her feel a little lonely, not just in Mamoru's case but also when it comes to any other friend whom she's made and then been forgotten by. At the same time, she quickly gets over it. This is the curse that comes with the blessing she wished for. Said blessing being the cute pinkette currently sitting next to her.
As well as the three smaller cute pinkettes currently sitting at the table. Homura reaches over to fingerpet Sio, who giggles at the affection.
Madoka looks over to Niji with a smile. "I mean... she's our friend too. I'm glad we were able to be there to support her." She almost makes a comment about 'if I had to do it all over again...', but she glances towards Homura and thinks better of it. To Usagi, Madoka smiles, and is about to say something like 'you'd do the same for us'... but also thinks better of it. So instead she just says, "Of course. I'm glad it all worked out, and we got a miracle at the end."
Tia is offered tiny cakes, and for a moment her eyes widen with glee. "Oh, yes! We are most grateful. Oh, these are absolutely adorable!" Then she takes a few of them and sets them around the table along with the tea cups. The chara are looking excited about them but they are mostly being well behaved and polite because it is tea time and there are rules.
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"It should, all I want to do is help, especially kids. There's such a stigma against-- but nevermind, this is a party," Mamoru tells Rihito.
Gentle, sensitive type? "I'm glad you didn't know any worse Hematites then!"
Then he smiles at Coco, maybe a little lopsidedly, for the comment about Nikora wanting them all to relax. "We should do something nice for her too," he suggests, then shifts his stance a little, like a low-key fidget. "We should tell them what happened," he exhales.
He looks at his hands and discovers that there are chopsticks in one of them, and he turns his head to look at his wife, and he leans a little into her. "I-- I don't understand all of what happened, Coco-chan, I'm sorry. But you were getting sicker and sicker, and the Sisters were taking magic, and you died, and then we loved you enough that Aqua Regina could make you a goddess, and now you're queen, right?"
- Amanda Faust has posed:
They have Chara-sized cakes ready here?!
Fascinating.
Watching the Minidokas and glancing at folks when they talk, Amy has chewed and swallowed a mushroom and is taking a bite of popcorn chicken, which she's trying eating with chopsticks, when Usagi speaks up, and it hits her again that oh right, Usagi's kind of stuck as a bystander now. Should she comment something? Reassure? Will that make it worse? But she doesn't want to make it awkward...
And then Mamoru reminds them that he kind of missed a bunch of it, and--
Amy looks over at Coco wide-eyed. "Wait, you're Queen now?!"
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi nodded along. She couldn't help but smile to Coco's comment, lightly rubbing her chin. "Yeeeeah. I considered that... but he did come through for me this time, and help me keep my head on straight. Soooo... I decided hog tied and tossed in the closet would be fine. He'll be out by the time I get home, anyway. He'll be over it when I bring home some cake, anyway. He never holds a grudge." She gave a shrug. "One advantage to him, I guess."
She snagged a blueberry cupcake, before glancing towards the charas. Ohhhhh. She hadn't seen many of these since, well... since she hadn't seen as much of Kiseki, honestly. "Hey lil guys. And yeah, that's the best thing about us being a team, right? Even if some of us aren't able to be there, or are stuck with like, finals and whatnot, someone else can come and get off the bench and what have you," Cho said, before taking a small bite of the cupcake. She spoke up again once she finished swallowing. "And, ummm... thanks for keeping my roommate safe. She really is the best... I don't know what I'd do without her."
Though, she did keep eying the charas... And finally... "Okay, seriously... are one of you like... have one of you been subbing out for Kiseki in the poker game?" she finally asked. "Cause I know there is one that Cora keeps taking to the cleaners alongside Wuwu and I thought it was Kiseki..." she mumbled. "But if there's another batch..." Eh, possibly other charas.
- Kazuo Saitou has posed:
"She really is," Kazuo agrees to Cho on the subject of her roommate. "One of her songs is partly responsible for our gentle and sensitive one," Homura gets an amused glance, "not having been able to drag me into the pit with the rest of our group before they were rescued." The other part is, granted, Hematite having made one of the worst recruitment attempts ever, but it still might have worked if Kazuo hadn't been inadvertently primed at a certain dance.
... wait.
They have more than one goddess in the room?
Kazuo puts one of the tiny cakes in his own mouth. It's a strategic move. It keeps him from saying anything that might get a goddess to throw something at him. And given the topic on hand - he looks back to Coco, concerned - this is not the time to irritate any deities.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Sio looks up at Cho and asks, "Is there a poker game?" She glances at Kamiko and Tia. "There was a poker game and you two didn't tell me?"
Kamiko munches what is to her a very large cake, but is actually very tiny to everyone here who isn't a mascot. Once she swallows she says, "I don't know anything about it. Homu-chan told me that slot machines were worse than vending machines and I haven't really thought of gambling since."
Tia takes a sip of her tea and says, "I haven't even heard of such a thing until now, and you'd best not drag poor Seira into anything like that."
Homura glances towards Mamoru and Kazuo with an expression that is, for the moment, an unguarded smile. She doesn't comment on the poker game, or her dire warnings to the Chara.
Madoka glances towards Mamoru and says, "Well... I mean... yeah I do think they deserve to know." She glances to Coco and Rihito. "Or did you tell them already?"
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Cho mentions her conflicts with Wuwu, and it's been awhile since Amy was witness to his shenanigans. Gods, she can't imagine having a mascot that constantly annoys and argues with her, she'd go insane. But logically this implies she'd prefer Kyubey to something else, and... that seems like it can't be right.
Cho responds, to what Amy didn't know what to say; she nods and pipes up simply, "Coco's my friend, too!"
But there's not even time to imagine an adorable chara poker game because, after saying 'Wait, you're a Queen? ', Amy's brain is still catching up over Mamoru's last sentence.
"Wait, you're a goddess?!"
- Coco Delrieu has posed:
"Not that kind of ill, at least. There is no more trouble with me and my Pearl or anything", Coco replies softly to Usagi, continuing to eat her own food between pieces of conversation. "I promise this won't happen again, Usagi-chan. Rihito is fine now, and we will just have to be more careful about where he might get attacked."
The same will go for their house in general, though she doesn't think anyone would have reason to threaten him specifically. "Michal-chan might enjoy it too. She feels a lot better when Rihito is around. She is really attached." Coco flashes Rihito a smile. How could it not be the case? She just wishes Michal believed her when she tries to make her understand she is not here to steal Rihito away.
Mamoru turns to suggest a quick summary and Coco nods, holding back a strained smile, when she notices how much Mamoru was impacted. "But I really am all better now. It's no longer a problem", the yellow singer insists.
She shakes her head at 'queen'. "I became a goddess, I think, but "queen" was really just a title reserved to Aqua Regina for forming the Seven Seas. I am still a Princess of my own kingdom, that's just how we do things underwater." She looks brightly at Mamoru.
"I will have to take on Aqua Regina's old duties, so I guess the difference is really superficial in the end", she observes, giving a light shrug.
She looks happily at Cho with a faint red tint over her cheeks at the compliment. "Thank you, Cho-chan. You are really too nice. You don't forget that, too, are we clear?"
When the conversation between the two pinkettes turns to the poker game, Coco nods affermatively. "Cora really enjoys her poker. I don't know where she got the habit, but perhaps I shouldn't be so surprised."
She then tilts her head at Madoka's question. "To who? Nikora and the others? I brought up Aqua Regina was responsible for bringing me back, but I was doing everything in a rush, so I didn't really bring everything up."
The yellow mermaid nods at Amy. "That's what Aqua Regina did as part of bringing me back. For some reason. My E-Pitch turned into her scepter and everything. I still have to work out what to do from here, but I suppose I am one now."
- Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi gave a small nod. "Oh yes, her songs have saved many a person from making a poor, misinformed and terrible decision over the years I've been here. And helped even more regret their poor decisions," Cho said with a grin.
Cho then glanced back towards the Charas again... Before shrugging. "As far as I know. I just know that Wuwu and Cora keep playing with charas... and Wuwu is terrible at it," Cho said with a soft chuckle. "But I think he mostly just likes wearing the hat."
Cho finally separated from Coco's side, giving her friend a bit more space and heading off to get a few snacks herself. Knowing she was all good now? That definitely helped a LOT. And she was feeling LOADS better than she had before... Incredibly better... Words did not describe... Seeing her friend on her own two feet again was making her feel like the world made sense again, in its own way. "And yes, I know. I won't forget. Cora probably just picking up silly habits," Cho said with a grin.
"Just uhhhh... Let me know if you need any help with anything, okay? Cure Wukong is at your service. Despite what Wuwu might say. He's getting easier to tie up every time."
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
There's a part of Usagi that wonders, distractedly, if Luna plays poker with the chara and otters, or if she prefers to spend her time with Artemis and Diana and Vice President, and if she should be planning playdates for her -
But it's a small part of her, because the rest of Usagi is slowly relaxing under the realization that if Coco is this happy - and this healthy - even while this has just happened, then Aqua Regina, she has to be fine. There's a part of her that had wondered if she wasn't, but Coco wouldn't be this happy, and that's good.
She chomps several KFC fries and other snacks as she mulls it over, then says -
"Well... what matters is that you're well, and you're happy, right? Will... taking over Aqua Regina's duties be hard on you?"
- Amanda Faust has posed:
Coco explains. "If you're taking over her duties, aren't you still--" Amy tries to work that out, out loud so her work can be checked. "Okay. The mermaid kingdoms-- the seven seas kingdoms, all have Princesses as rulers, so you still have that title as the direct ruler of the South Pacific. Aqua Regina's Queen title is because of what she did in forming the Seven Seas, which you didn't, but also you're taking over her duties..."
And that thought leads the redhead to concern. "Wait, does that mean you can only be summoned by all the pearls and you have to like... go do whatever it is she's been doing all this time?"
Amy blinks. "...And what are you the goddess of?"
There's talk of poker games, and Amy distantly remembers the times she wondered what the mascots do all day. While she's mostly processing the implications of her friend Coco's new position, a small part of her brain notes that if she ever ends up turned into a doll or something again maybe she'll take some time off and ask if they can deal her into some games rather than trying to attend class from Rashmi's backpack.
- Kazuo Saitou has posed:
Usagi's question about whether Coco's new duties will be hard on her prompts Kazuo to add, "Is there anything we can do to help support you?"
Which is, honestly, just another phrasing of Cho's question about letting her know if Coco needs any help. Maybe generalizing a little more; can they help even if it's not actually necessary, even if it just makes things easier for her or gives her a little more free time.
Amy's question about Coco being summoned is slightly more alarming; Kazuo finds himself glancing to Homura, not entirely sure why, before to Amy.
(He is definitely not getting involved in asking what Coco is the goddess of. There isn't necessarily an answer, for one thing. For another, sometimes the answer is 'whatever I really feel like doing,' and historically that one hasn't been all that wise to challenge.)
- Mamoru Chiba has posed:
With his mouth full of food from Usagi's plate, Mamoru's also looking more relaxed-- and when Coco smiles so brightly at him, he relaxes a lot more. "I see," he says in relief. "I was worried for her too. Your mama, I mean. But you're more than fine, and she's also fine, and it'll just take a moment for me to internalize that everything's really okay," Mamoru explains a little sheepishly.
Then he glances at Amy and blinks. "Why does she have to have a theme?"
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Amy asks what Coco is the goddess of, and Madoka has to stifle a giggle. While it's true that the word 'hope' is in the name Hope Concept, the pink girl wouldn't go so far as to assume that she's the only divine being that claims to be a source of hope even if she is hope-themed. Still, she doesn't answer for Coco, for much the same reason that Kazuo doesn't comment. There are all sorts of potential answers to that question.
Instead Hope Concept turns to Coco and says, "Well, I suppose we're members of a pretty exclusive club now. This is not how I expected my teenage years to go, but there are worse alternatives."
Homura, witness of said worse alternatives, stays mysteriously silent and eats a bit of chicken. Then she takes a little napkin, folds it up a couple of times, and places it on the table with a piece of chicken on top. Sio takes out a little knife and starts cutting it up as if it's a Thanksgiving turkey.
- Coco Delrieu has posed:
"Wuwu gets a hat?", Coco chuckles alongside Cho. "Does he know he doesn't have to wait whenever they meet to wear the hat?" Who knows how exactly he thinks. Maybe he likes the vibe that comes with the hat. "Well, as long as Cora is fine, she can pick up all the silly habits she wants."
Cho's words make Coco intertwine her fingers. It really is nice to hear that Cho is so eager to support her, and she couldn't really ask for anything more. "Practice makes perfect. Thank you, Cho-chan. I am glad to have your support." She smirks rather joyfully.
Usagi's words make her hum, and she takes a few moments of silence to think. "I think it will be fine. There are the other Princesses still, so it's not like I would be doing it alone." Though, Aqua Regina put this system in place because she could delegate, so she must have thought the same way. "I think that I can do it! Maybe just a little bit to time to adjust, but I am not worried."
Though, they still haven't found Lucia's Pearl. While she was still looking before now, making sure it gets found is actually her responsibility now, huh?
She shakes her head when Amy suggests she will have to leave. "Not really. I am not just going to drop everything here. But I probably get stronger if the hearts of the other six Princesses united with mine, but that was already true, for all of us. So it's just the same, but more."
She grins at the question of the title. "Madoka-chan and I were texting about it. Aqua Regina is the goddess of the seas, so that's probably what I should be called, but her powers made her - and me - more a goddess of songs."
