Molly's an adopted kid; One of her mothers is a performance mechanic, and the other a chef. Molly lived in a string of orphanages until she was ten, when her Moms signed the papers. They've moved back to Japan only recently, opening up a tuner shop and sushi bar all under one roof, and just in time for Molly to stumble across a lone silver earring in an antique shop. She bought it on impulse, and later in the night found herself in the battle of her life against something hideous; with the help of Starcrash, her new device, she managed to survive. Definitely she can't tell her new parents.
