Radiant Heart MUSH World History

An incomplete history of the major magical events which have occurred in the Magical World of Radiant Heart Mush, chiefly centered around the Solar System.

Prehistory

• The era of the ancient civilizations, the time of magic before the veil, the unlimited era.

1. Pre-Dinosaurs: Cybodies arrive on Earth, in what would eventually become Southern Cross Island.
2. 25,000 BCE = 27K years ago: Red’s planet (Mars?) ceases to support life.
3. 10,900 BCE = 12.8K years ago: The Era of the Silver Millennium Ends. Sailor Saturn drops her glaive, and life in the Sol System begins anew. In this new Sol System, the Veil is a permanent feature of the System.
4. 10,000 BCE = 11.9K years ago: A comet with a dark energy core falls on the utopic land of Chanteur, destroying it.
5. 7000 BCE=10K years ago: The Ancients, led by Michel, guide the Merfolk and Panthalassans towards the safeguarding of Earth’s ecosystems, then withdraw fromm the world.
6. 3,000 BCE = 5k years ago: Original Miraculous Holders (Jomun Era Japan)
7. 2,500 BCE = 4.5k years ago: Egyptian Ladybug/Cat Noir (Khepri)
8. 1,000-0 BCE= 2-3k years ago Ladybug User Hippolyta

30 BCE:

• Candidus Cordis Society (a magical society focus on the preservation of knowledge, collection of magical artifacts, and training of new Mahou) is founded in Rome/Egypt
• Cleopatra may have been a Puella

1000s:

• Abe no Seimei and Ashiya Doman are magical rivals in the Heian period of Japan. The original ancestors of the eventual Youkai Musume origin cross into Heian era Japan via a portal opening from the Youkai Dimension.

1400s:

• Joan of Arc is a title used by various magical girls operating in France, including a wielder of the Ladybug Miraculous and a Puella.

1600s:

• Baron Salamander terrorizes France before being defeated by Cure Ange (the original Pretty Cure) and is imprisoned in the abbey of Mont Saint-Michel.

1700s:

• The Dark Witch creates her Great Work, a ritual which creates the effect we now know as The Fade, utilizing the disruption caused by the Veil.

New Fade Age: 40-45~

• Mirage and Blue fall in love and disaster promptly occurs. Mirage is corrupted by Red. The mirage/ phantom empire is ultimately sealed away.
• The first Panthalassa War shakes the Seven Seas. The peaceful Panthalassa choose to migrate to the human lands, while the warmongers are sealed by Aqua Regina inside their palace as a last ditch effort, using the vast majority of her powers.
• Cure Oasis and the Witch of Destruction clash, and the latter loses the motivation to fight against the Pretty Cure.

1800:

• Fade Age: 37-40
• The first Princess of Sarek is selected during this century, fighting greed demons hiding inside human society, and clashing over their ideas of righteousness with aspiring painter Basil Hallward, who wanted to catch the famous thief. Eventually the two will end up joining together to seal the demons inside one of Basil's paintings.

1843:

• Master Fu destroys the Order of the Guardians with the Peacock Miraculous. The Chinese Miracle Box seems to be the last remaining Miracle Box.
• The Peacock and Butterfly Miraculi are lost.

1850s:

• Fade Age: 33-37

1884:

• The first sketch of the Eiffel Tower is designed.

1885:

• The villain Jack creates the Cursed Doll system in an attempt to live forever and makes a name for himself as Jack the Ripper in 1888.

1887:

• Construction begins on the Eiffel Tower. Mahou Insiders (Candidus Cordis?) successfully pitch for the project to be built atop an intersection of a cluster of leylines.

1890:

• The Eiffel Tower project is completed, drawing an immense surge of magical energy towards Paris. Mahou who use Dark Energy and Rainbow Energy alike begin to emerge chiefly in Paris, becoming the center of magical activity.

1900s

• Fade Age: 30-33

1950s

• Fade Age: 33-30

1961:

• Land is purchased for the Space Needle project. Mahou Insiders (Candidus Cordis again?) persuade the city to sell the land needed for the project (as it is again over an intersection of clustered leylines).

1962:

• Space Needle project is completed, drawing an immense surge of magical energy towards Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. American PNW becomes the center of magical activity.

1973:

• Kaoruko Hanasaki imprisons Dune and halts the Desert Apostles.

1975:

• Fade Age: 25-28

1990s:

• Kokuyōseki Zaibatsu formally renames itself to The Obsidian Corporation

1997:

• Arch Villain from Keaka’s theme is defeated during the Solar Eclipse of March 9 1997.

2000s:

• Fade Age: 21-25

2003:

• The Panthalassa monarchs have a son and heir: Gaito, born with the Panthalassa's power of Darkness.

2004

• The reigning Princess of the Indian Ocean dies, and Sara is born from the Orange Pearl to succeed her.

2005:

• Organization behind RHA realizes Obsidian is a dark energy problem. Plans for a new tower are made, but a more ambitious project is proposed as well.
• Land is purchased for the Radiant Heart Academy project. Construction begins.

2007:

• The reigning Princess of the South Pacific Ocean dies, and Coco is born from the Yellow Pearl to succeed her.

2008:

• Construction begins on the Tokyo Skytree. Candidus Cordis (probably) again ensures the development takes place on land atop an intersection of leylines.
• The reigning Princesses of the Artic and Antartic Ocean die, and twins Noel and Caren are born from the Indigo and Purple Pearls respectively to succeed them.

2010:

• Radiant Heart Academy opens its doors to immediate and unequivocal success.

2011

• A Magical Tower is completed, and the location is lost to memory as those familiar with it’s creator fade.

2012:

• The Skytree Project is completed, drawing an immense surge of magical energy towards Tokyo. Obsidian is empowered by this surge, but mahoujin begin to be born in Tokyo in larger numbers.
• Fuyuko and Kyouka become active as Lux Tenebrae. Throughout the period of 2012-2018, there are consistently around 12 mahoujijn.

2013:

• Kaito, second son to the Panthalassa monarchs and holder of the Panthalassa's power of Light, is born. The two children's powers gets used by their parents, and it's the start of a second Panthalassa war that threatens the world. It ends with the children separated from their parents, but at the cost of the lives of the Mermaid Princesses of the South Atlantic, North Pacific and North Atlantic, and their heirs Hanon, Lucia and Rina are born.
• The Panthalassa monarchs plan to use dark energy as a last shot for their rule, even knowing that it is by now beyond their means, and die as a result.

2016:

• Fuyuko tries to destroy all of Tokyo Bay and the surrounding Wards. Kyouka stops her. Their epic rivalry begins. With the two of them focused on defeating each other, many people are killed by the increased number of successful youma attacks.

2019:

• Fuyuko and Kyouka become Arbiters
• Sara leads Gaito to his ancestral home, and the two start the third Panthalassa war. The Kingdoms of the Indian, South Pacific, North Atlantic, South Atlantic and Artic Kingdoms are destroyed, and princesses Coco and Noel are abducted by Gaito, who seals them in a deep sleep in his palace.
• An Ancient fossil gets excavated from the Antarctic.

2021:

• Mamoru Chiba is found by Queen Beryl, becoming Darien Shields & Hematite. Over the course of a year, he finds and recruits Nephrite, Jadeite, and Zoisite.

2023:

• Fade Age: 18-21.
• <Mush opens> The Grand Magical Era has thoroughly begun.
• Early in the year, Kyouka is hired as a magical guidance counselor.
• The first large (30+) group of Mahou to become active at the same time in a single year in hundreds of years.
• The Guardian Hippocampus manages to free Princess Coco, and she joins Radiant Heart Academy in her efforts to stop Gaito and placate Sara.
• The Artha explodes, stranding the crew.
• An accident with Veronica Perenna causes the HallWard to start breaking, and she is selected as the second Princess of Sarek to protect it.
• The first portal to Etheria opens, admitting Adora and Catra, to be followed by others.
• The portal to KiraKiraFantastica begins opening and shutting, admitting Hinoiri Kirara.
• Hematite & the Shitennou depart from Obsidian.

2024:

• Sunset of Sora is defeated in Tokyo.
• The Witch of Delays attacks Grand Ocean, depriving it of its motivation and the Mermaid Queen sends Laura La Mer to seek out the legendary warriors Pretty Cure.
• Queen Beryl is defeated in Paris.
• The comet that destroyed Chanteur reawakens, bringing its princess Sharon back to life and lending her its power, tainted by Chanteur's pain, and she tries to restore the kingdom to its old splendor by abducting people. A group of mahoujin is able to let her see past her grief, and the kingdom of Chaunter is purified and disappears. Sharon comes live with them in Tokyo.
• The Crystal Heart is moved to Radiant Heart Academy, creating an anti-Dark Energy Zone.
• Chibiusa (and later the Black Moon Clan) arrive in RHM Tokyo
• The Crown of Succession is activated by Aloisia Stauss.

2025

• Molly Skyline is seemingly killed in action due to Viluy of the Witches 5.

1. Molly Skyline is discovered to be alive, with the Daimon Seriss Nyx controlling her body.

• Gaito, Heir to the Panthalassans, is defeated.
• Mistress 9 awakens within Hotaru Tomoe, but is later forced out during an attempt at raising Pharaoh 90.
• Sailor Saturn awakens.
• Michel, god of the Ancients, makes his appearance.
